Preservation of Bima Language Vocabulary in the Bima Community Who Live in Mataram

Language is not just a means of communication in the relationship between mother and child, but rather reflects the emotional closeness between the two. More than that, language forms a person's character, even as a vehicle for addressing spiritual values for society. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. Data collection methods are observation, interviews and recording. How to determine informants in this research uses an approach snowball sampling Where the technique for determining data sources is that if the number of informants can meet the objectives, then the data is considered valid. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this research show that the Bima language in the Bima community who live in Mataram is able to survive, even though the Bima language is in the midst of the Sasak tribe community which uses Sasak language as the majority language.

The principal component analysis of antioxidant activities of Songgak, a traditional herbal drink in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

Songgak is a traditional herbal tea of the Sasak Tribe in Lombok Island, Indonesia, formulated to strengthen people's stamina. Songgak is composed of seven kinds of roasted spices: Piper nigrum L., Coriandrum sativum L., Piper retrofractum Vahl, Myristica fragrans Houtt, Syzygium aromaticum, Elaeocarpus grandiflorus, and Helicteres isora. This study aimed to assess the benefits of Songgak and its constituent spices by evaluating their antioxidant activities, total phenolic content (TPC) and flavonoid content (TPC). Antioxidant activity tests were performed on the water extract of Songgak, ethanolic extract of Songgak, and ethanolic extract of seven spices of Songgak including 2,2′- diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging, Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC), and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay. The antioxidant activity using DPPH method showed that the water extract of Songgak has a strong categorisation of antioxidant activity with DPPH IC50 value of 63.78±4.29 µg/mL. The constituent species of Songgak with the strongest antioxidant activity was S. aromaticum. Total phenolic content (TPC) and total flavonoid content (TFC) of Songgak tea were 26.85±4.29 mg GAE/g and 6.99±0.29 mg RE/gram, respectively. The correlation between TPC, TFC, and antioxidant activities was determined using principal component analysis (PCA). The loading plot showed that TPC and TFC were strongly correlated with the antioxidant activity (FRAP method) of Songgak tea and its constituent spices. These results revealed that the presence of flavonoid and phenolic compounds in the seven herbal medicinal plants were responsible for the antioxidant properties of Songgak as a healthy herbal drink. Therefore, consuming Songgak every day can be beneficial for preventing various diseases involving free radicals.

Shifting Traditional Values Teaching Sasak Tribe Community from Maqashid Asy-Syari'ah Perspective

The tradition of memulang is a tradition carried out by the Sasak People as part of the wedding process. In carrying on this tradition, a young man took away his bride without any of the family knowing about it. Focus of this research is (1) what are the factors behind the shift values that occur in the marriage process (2) what is the analiyze of the shift in values toward the memulang tradition to Sasak People in an acculturation perspective and Maqhasid Syari’ah in Gondang Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency. This research is a type of qualitative research. Collecting data by interviews, observation as primary data and secondary data obtained from several literatures related to acculturation and Maqhasid Syari’ah. The result showed that : the shift that occurred in this tradition of memulang was due to the modernity of the times caused by the existence of technology, development of education and the existence of apathy in Sasak tribe itself. for Maqhasid Syari’ah, this tradition is believe to be able to cause benefits that occur including stregthen the bond of the marriage, streghten nasab and streghten persemendaan, so that this perspective can be used as a punishment for memulang tradition.

The Influence of Global Cultural Infiltration on the Sasak Traditional Marriage System in Lombok Island

The essence and existence of culture in its process will gradually change due to various factors, such as the infiltration of global culture. This quantitative study aims to determine the effect of global cultural infiltration on the traditional Sasak marriage system in Lombok Island. The research was conducted in Montong Gamang Village, Kopang District, Central Lombok Regency, with 50 respondents determined by purposive sampling. The research data were obtained through a questionnaire analyzed using the Product Moment Correlation formula. The analysis results show a correlation coefficient (0.639) greater than the value of r-Product Moment (0.279) at a significance level of 5%. This means that global cultural infiltration has a significant effect on the traditional Sasak marriage system in Lombok Island. It is suggested that the tribe can wisely select and accept the foreign culture, be aware of negative influences, and maintain local cultural values. An Examination of Talal Asad's Thought in Anthropological Studies on the Islamic Community of the Sasak Tribe of Lombok

The island of Lombok is inhabited by the Sasak tribe with the majority of the people being Muslim. This island is located in the small Sunda range in the central region of Indonesia. The Sasak tribe as the original inhabitants of the island of Lombok, which is also nicknamed the island of a thousand mosques, has a variety of unique religious traditions and rituals that we can only find on the island of Lombok. so many traditions in Lombok itself are still closely related to Islam. As well as the maulidan tradition, Lebaran ketupat, and several other traditions. Discussions related to Islamic tradition have been studied by many figures in the world, one of which is Talal Asad. It should also be noted that Talal Asad has criticized the textualization of social life, his work has shifted analysis through behavioral interpretation and towards an investigation into the relationship of practice with what he calls "discursive tradition." Asad introduced this concept in his intervention into Islamic anthropology but also linked it to several fields (anthropology, religious studies, postcolonial studies, critical theory) concerned with ethics and religion in modernity. Through this article, the author would like to invite readers to jointly understand the context of Islamic anthropology based on customs, traditions, and the writings of figures such as Talal Asad. This article is expected to be able to provide education to the public regarding Islam on the island of Lombok, then the history of Islam on the island of Lombok, customs, traditions, and its review based on Talal Asad's anthropology.

JURIDICAL REVIEW OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EARLY MARRIAGE (MERARIQ KODEQ) IN SASAK CUSTOMS IN REVIEW OF THE MARRIAGE LAW (STUDY IN LEPAK VILLAGE, SAKRA TIMUR SUB-DISTRICT, EAST LOMBOK DISTRICT)

The purpose of this study is to determine the form of early marriage arrangements (merarik kodeq) based on the Marriage Law and to identify the factors that lead to the implementation of early marriage (merarik kodeq) in Sasak customs in Lepak Village, Sakra East District, East Lombok Regency. This study will serve as a basis for further research on this topic. The study employed a normative empirical research method, which entailed a review of laws and regulations and interviews with community members, village officials, religious leaders, traditional leaders, hamlet heads, and their staff. The results of the study are presented in the form of an implementation model for early marriage (merariq kodeq), which is a custom or habit of the community, especially the Sasak tribe. This practice is not common and cannot be denied, therefore the village government is unable to take any action. To prohibit it completely would be to ignore the Sasak language term "Betungkem rarely," which means that if there is a case such as early marriage, it can only be accepted with a yes, whether it is going forward or backward. In essence, this is just a mediator in this matter.

Reform of The Inheritance System: Between Islamic Law and Tradition of Sasak Tribe

This paper discusses the reform of the inheritance system between Islamic law and tradition of the Sasak tribe by investigating how religious leaders in Lombok view the inheritance distribution system and how to reform the inheritance system between Islamic law and tradition in the Sasak Lombok Community. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach, and data taken from the field was analysed using Jasser Auda's system theory regarding maqasid sharia. The result of reforming the Islamic law system and tradition in the Sasak tribe is to eliminate injustice within the Lombok NTB community by emphasising the value of inheritance property rather than its quantity. This approach ensures that inheritance distribution considers the value of assets, such as land, rather than merely dividing by area. For instance, the value of one hectare of strategically located land differs significantly from that of less strategically located land. Thus, instead of dividing the land by hectares, it is divided based on value, ensuring a fair distribution among the eldest brother, other brothers, and sisters. This method seeks to achieve justice for all parties involved.

Nyeruan: Traditional Medicine of the Sasak Tribe in the Perspective of Islam, Medicine and Legislation in Indonesia

This research aims to understand the history of the emergence of the traditional nyeruan healing tradition, how the treatment procession is carried out, how this treatment is in the view of Islam and modern health science. This research lasted for six months using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. Determining informants in this study used snowball sampling. The data collection techniques use participant-observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and also triangulation. Data analysis in this research uses the Social Construction theory of Peter L. Berger and Tomas Luckman, and Herbert Blumer's Symbolic Intractionism theory. Based on the research results, it shows that the traditional healing tradition of nyeruan does not violate the laws and regulations in Indonesia, so the practice is still being preserved, especially among the Sasak community

Idiom-idiom Estetik Cerita Teater Tradisional Amaq Abir

The traditional drama story Amaq Abir is a story performed in the traditional Amak Abir theater performance in Nyampe hamlet, Marong village. As an art form, the story highlights the local wisdom values of the Sasak tribe which is interesting to study, especially in eastern aesthetic studies. Eastern aesthetics as a study of traditional drama has not been widely studied. The aim of this research is to find the form and meaning of eastern aesthetics which are keywords in the traditional drama story Amaq Abir. The theory used is eastern aesthetics. Aesthetics can be interpreted as the beauty/truth that forms a work. Meanwhile, the method is used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive nature. In interpreting data, holistic methods are used. This method used in interpreting philosophical meaning. The results of the research found that there are aesthetic idioms that form the traditional drama story Amak Abir, including steadfast, explaining human character who has principles in thinking and acting. Adigang-adigung explains the arrogant and arrogant character of humans. Manut explains the human character who obeys the orders. Jiwe-seli explains the human character who cares about others/gotong royong. Sekti explains the character of humans who have extensive knowledge. Litem-putek explains the character of humans who have the characteristics of good and bad.

Sasak Marong Art As A Tourist Attraction for The Development of A Tourism Village Based on The Distinctive Culture

This research is motivated by the author's attention related to Sasak art as a tourist attraction located inMarong Village, East Praya District, Central Lombok Regency. The focus of the research studied in this thesisare: (1) How does Sasak Marong art function as a tourist attraction based on the distinctive culture of the SasakLombok Tribe (2) What is the role of the government and the community towards Sasak Marong art as a touristattraction for the development of a typical Sasak Lombok cultural tourism village in Marong Village, East PrayaDistrict, Central Lombok?.This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data collection methods used are: observation,interviews, and documentation. This is done to facilitate researchers in obtaining and compiling the dataneeded. The results of this study indicate (1) the function of Sasak Marong art as a tourist attraction has threefunctions in general, mamely: the function of art as a ritual, the function of art as an expression, and the functionof art as a tourist attraction. Apart from that, there are two main functions of Marong Sasak ert : practicalfunction and aestheatic function. Both of these functions are supporting as a tourist attraction. Tuan Guru and the Efforts to Prevent Early Marriage Among Sasak Tribe

Early marriage is still a problem in developing countries, including Indonesia. one of the areas with a high rate of child marriage is West Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to explore the implementation of the Marriage Law Number 16 of 2019 in Rembiga Subdistrict, Mataram City, focusing on the role of Tuan Guru in reducing early marriage cases. While national trends indicate a decline, local data shows a significant increase in early marriage cases, particularly in some Indonesian provinces. The study utilised empirical legal field research and qualitative methods, involving profound observations and interviews with fourteen informants. It identified obstacles in the application of the law, including premarital pregnancy, family conflicts, economic factors, promiscuous behaviour, normative conflicts, and suboptimal socialisation. In this context, Tuan Guru plays a crucial role in fostering understanding and compliance with the law in the Sasak Rembiga community through religious studies and marriage counselling. This strategy highlights the importance of integrating religious, cultural, and legal values to minimise early marriages and calls for cross-sector collaboration for sustained effectiveness.

Implementation of Traditional Games in Ethnoscience Learning

This study aims to explore the perceptions of preservice teachers on the implementation of traditional Sasak tribe games in ethnoscience learning. This exploratory research was conducted at the Mandalika University of Education with a subject pool of 294 preservice teacher students. The research utilized a validated closed questionnaire instrument with responses gathered using a Likert scale. The data from this study were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of this study are (1) preservice teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of traditional Sasak games in ethnoscience learning in each item of the statement, namely item 1 scored 3.30, categorized as Very High; item 2 scored 3.22, categorized as Tall; item 3 scored 2.88, also categorized as Tall; item 4 scored 3.41, categorized as Very High; item 5 scored 3.19, categorized as Very High; item 6 scored 3.28, categorized as Very High; item 7 scored 3.13, categorized as Tall; item 8 scored 3.38, categorized as Very High; item 9 scored 3.37, categorized as Very High; and item 10 scored 3.47, categorized as Very High; (2) preservice teachers hold highly favorable perceptions regarding the implementation of traditional Sasak games in ethnoscience learning, proven by the average score of 3.26, categorized as Very High.

THE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES OF UNDERAGE MARRIAGE IN THE MERARIQ CULTURE OF THE SASAK TRIBE IN MEREMBU VILLAGE, LABUAPI DISTRICT, WEST LOMBOK REGENCY

The culture of marriage varies from region to region, influenced by religion, customs, and community environment. One of them is the Merarik culture of the Sasak tribe in Lombok. This study aims to analyze the settlement of underage marriages and their legal consequences in the Merarik culture of the Sasak tribe in Merembu Village, West Lombok. The research method uses empirical legal methods and qualitative approaches with primary data from the research location and secondary data from reliable sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document studies. The results showed that the process of settling underage marriages was carried out through negotiations and mediation involving village heads, religious leaders, and local communities. The legal consequences affect marital status, husband and wife, children, and property. Unregistered marriages are not recognized by the state, so the wife loses her rights if abandoned, divorced, or the husband dies. The child of the marriage only has a legal relationship with the mother and the mother's family, without a legal relationship with the father. Therefore, it is recommended that authorized institutions provide counseling on the importance of state-recognized marriages to prevent adverse effects in the future.

Analisis Manfaat Dan Urgensi Dana Pelangakahan Dalam Perkawinan Suku Jawa Dan Suku Sasak

There are differences in terms of the naming and practice of marriage initiation funds between the Javanese and Sasak tribes. There are different concepts between the two in terms of practice, of course due to the different social and cultural backgrounds between the Javanese and Sasak tribes. The benefits and urgency are the benchmarks for how important it is to do it and become a custom. In this research, the research methodology used is library research and uses a sociological approach to help the author analyze the benefits and urgency of marriage transition funds. The results found that the funds for marriage steps between the Javanese and Sasak tribes had similarities and differences. The similarity is that this is done to honor or respect and ask permission from the sibling being stepped on, and the step can be in the form of money or other objects. Meanwhile, the difference is in practice, in the Javanese tribe, the person who is stepped over is either an unmarried female sibling or male sibling who is given the step, whereas in the Sasak tribe only unmarried older brothers are given the step. The Javanese tribe's step process has more procedures than the Sasak tribe. The Sasak tribe's concept of giving a handover is from the prospective husband to the unmarried brother of the prospective wife, whereas in the Javanese tribe the handover can tend to be from the younger sibling to the sibling's older brother/sister. The benefit and urgency is to respect each other and avoid misunderstandings, as well as carrying out the customs and culture of each tribe so that they are preserved and the stepping goods are only an entertainment for the person who steps over.

DEVELOPMENT OF A LEARNING MODULE BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM OF THE SASAK TRIBE ON FIFTH GRADE IN SOCIAL SCIENCE SUBJECT AT SDN 22 AMPENAN

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a learning module based on the local wisdom of the Sasak Tribe, find out the steps for developing the module, and determine the feasibility of a learning module based on the local wisdom of the Sasak Tribe in social studies material for fifth-grade students at SDN 22 Ampenan. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SDN 22 Ampenan with ten fifth-grade students as subjects. Data collection tools use questionnaires or questionnaires. The steps in developing a module are: 1) Analysis: perform performance analysis and analysis of student needs; 2) Design: design the module from cover to bibliography, determine KD, Indicators, Learning Objectives, materials, and activity evaluation; 3) Development: the module that has been designed is printed, validated by material experts and media experts then revised according to suggestions, 4) Implementation: the module is applied to students to see the students' response in using the module, 5) Evaluation: evaluation is carried out in the form of tests on participants students to see the students' understanding of the material. The results of research and development of learning modules based on local wisdom of the Sasak tribe in the fifth-grade social studies material show that it is very suitable for use in the learning process; this is based on the validation results of media experts at 77.64% (feasible), material experts at 93.6% (very feasible), and the student response was 81.38% (very feasible).

Menggali Kearifan Lokal: Pendidikan Nilai Dalam Permainan Tradisional Suku Sasak

Traditional games of the Sasak tribe are an integral part of local wisdom and the culture of the Lombok community. However, currently, interest in these traditional games has declined, especially among children. This research aims to unearth local wisdom through the values education embedded in traditional Sasak tribal games. The research method involves introducing traditional games to children through direct play activities, enabling them to understand the meaning and values inherent in each game. Data collection techniques include participatory observation and interviews with traditional players and local community figures. The collected data are analyzed using a qualitative approach, detailing the moral, cultural, and social values found in traditional games. The results show that traditional games of the Sasak tribe encompass values of local wisdom, including team solidarity, precision, and a sense of responsibility. The implications of this research underscore the importance of preserving and integrating traditional games into values education as a means to conserve local culture and shape the character of children by appreciating the noble values of local traditions. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the preservation of local wisdom and values education amid the ongoing tide of globalization.

Digital Marketing Communication Strategy For Sesek Woven Fabrics On A Digital Platform With A Marketing Approach Mix's 8p Sade Village Sasak Tribe Lombok

The digital marketing communication strategy for Sesek woven fabric on a digital platform with a marketing approach based on the Mix's 8P marketing model in Sade Village, Sasak tribe, Lombok was designed as an effort to increase the digital marketing needed by village girls. This research aims to identify and analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies in promoting Sesek woven fabric, by integrating digital marketing platforms by adopting Marketing Mix's (8P) which involves product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence and customer participation. The research method was descriptive qualitative and in-depth interviews with Sade village girls craftsmen and consumers of Sade village woven cloth. The research results were obtained using Mix's 8P marketing model, the application of digital marketing strategies increases the visibility and sustainability of the marketing of Sesek woven fabric, which is unique and has cultural value, in the digital era. Practical implications and recommendations for further development in the context of digital marketing of local woven fabric products for village girls and Sesek woven fabric craftsmen

The wisdom possessed by the Sasak tribe is a potential that must be considered. Its existence for every member of the Sasak tribe is a gift that always provides its own color. Focusing on this research, the researcher examines the representation of local knowledge of the Sasak Tribe in the Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru by TGKH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid. The aim of carrying out this research is to explore and describe the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe which originates from the Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru.. The method in this research uses qualitative research, literature study. The data in this research is in the form of WRMPB text. The data source in this research is the WRMPB book or manuscript by Tuan Guru Kyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. In this case, the researcher becomes the main instrument, using data cards. The data collection technique used is documentary study. Next, analyze the data by organizing it, sorting it into manageable units, synthesizing it, looking for and finding patterns, finding what is important and what has been learned, and deciding what can be told to others. Checking the validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques. In the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe, there are 7 verses of the New Experience Period Renunagan's Will which represent the wisdom of knowledge of the Sasak tribe. The 43rd verse is part 1. The 44th verse is part 2. The 39th verse is part 2. The 134th verse is part 1. The 18th verse is part 1. The 186th verse is part 1, and the 180th verse is part 1.

The Tindih Value of the Sasak Tribe as a Basic Value in Developing Character Education in Schools

Character is something that can be educated, built, through effective education both through formal education, non-formal education, and informal. This view intensifies comprehensive character education efforts through various educational channels. Character education built in the education system is character education based on cultural values so that the character of the community will be formed socially. Thus, in understanding the character of a person or a society, it must first be understood the cultural value system that builds it. The tindih value of the Sasask tribe in this case can be applied through a learning model in schools so that students are able to have a positive character that reflects the noble values of the Sasak ethnicity. Tindih values are values that mean motivation to become proper, obedient, and spur, solah, and seleh as the basis of the philosophy of the Sasak community.
