DESIGN OF INVENTORY CUSHION INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING BASED WEB (CASE STUDY: PT. UNIVERSAL FURNITURE INDUSTRIES CIREBON)

Computerized development can make it easier for employees to do a job. Having an inventory information system can facilitate all data and goods management activities, recording and calculating faster, more efficiently and more accurately. PT. Universal Furniture Industries as a company engaged in the furniture industry. This company has a vulnerable business process problem with the supply of goods, especially Cushion for its production process so that it will affect the goods that will be distributed to its customers. One of the supporting factors for running business processes is having an inventory system. The process of calculating goods manually can result in errors and inaccuracies in calculations due to human error. Currently the running system still has many deficiencies and weaknesses such as the inventory data collection process is still done manually with the help of Microsoft Excel, causing the company's performance to be hampered and unable to support all the needs that the company wants. Next is the discrepancy between the results of recording in the report book and the number of items available and the difficulty of controlling the inventory in the warehouse for purchasing and shipping needs. This information system is made using the PHP programming language and MYSQL as a database. The result of this research is the creation of a web-based inventory system that can facilitate the inventory cushion process at PT. Universal Furniture Industries Cirebon.

Analysis of External Factors Based on Porter's Five Forces Method at PT Gipan Metal Teknik Indonesia

The industrial company providing and fabricating abrasion-resistant steel PT Gipan Metal Teknik Indonesia (PT GMTI) will face competition in the business, so the company must increase efficiency and optimize its potential. This study aims to determine the competitive advantage strategy of PT GMTI based on Porter's Five Forces method. Analysis of external factors as a planning strategy to find out opportunities and threats in running business processes so that they can affect the sustainability of the company. Michael A. Porter describes the five forces module as an analytical tool in industrial competition. The results of this analysis are in the form of external factors of the company in facing the Competitive Force used by the company in facing business competition. External factors faced by PT GMTI in running its business based on Porter's Five Forces method are a) Threat of New Entrans namely the need for company capital and government regulations, b) Rivalry Among Existing Competitors namely the quality of products offered and marketed, c) Bargaining Power of Buyers namely the number of similar competitors, d) Bargaining Power of Suppliers namely the price of raw materials from suppliers, e) Threat of Subtitute Products, namely the quality of substitute products. The results of this study show that the strategy that can be developed by PT GMTI is to increase business capital and training employees so that the company can develop and maintain the quality of services and products for business continuity. The determination of variables used in Porter's Five Forces analysis is based on the experience of one of our members who works as a supplier of abrasion-resistant materials and also works in one of the heavy equipment companies in Indonesia.

The Role Of The Gresik Regency Regional Government On Of The Stakeholders In Songkok Small And Medium Indsustries (Ikm) In Gresik Regency

The number of small and medium-sized industries recorded today is 261 people, showing the dominance of the Songkok industry in Gresik Regency. Management with a family and conventional system results in the Songkok Small and Medium Medium Industry Business Actors in Gresik Regency not being able to market Songkok optimally and have not been able to compete in the national market, the involvement of local governments is needed in supporting the development of small and medium industries in Gresik Regency. The existence of a small -medium medium industry in Gresik Regency in addition to being one of the crafts that produces products that become part of the culture of the Indonesian people, is also one of the industries that contribute to economic growth in Kabuoaten Gresik. The research method used is a qualitative method with case studies, a small and medium -sided industry has existed in Gresik Regency since the 1970s, initially only in Gresik District, has grown, developed, and spread in several regions in Gresik Regency, so that it became a part From the icon of Gresik Regency as the largest Songkok Craftsman Center in Indonesia. The reality on the ground with existing experience does not necessarily make the business fears able to compete in the national market. Digging information from 9 informants, aims to identify the Songkok Small and Medium Industry Business Process (IKM) in Gresik Regency, identify the right marketing mix in Songkok Small and Medium Industries (IKM) in Gresik Regency, and see the extent of the role of the local government as one of the stakeholders In supporting the growth of Songkok Small and Medium Industries (IKM) in Gresik Regency. Enterprise Resource Planning: Analysis and Utilization of Open Source Applications with the EAP Method

System automation is currently very much needed for the small and medium business industry to large-scale companies. The computerized systems concept is increasingly in demand due to the shift in the industrial era 4.0. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a multi-module application that puts forward the concept of an integrated computerized system that stores all company data in one easily accessed database. This study discusses open source ERP applications for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises by looking at the running business processes that will then adjust to the ERP application module facilitated by the developer. The Enterprise Architecture Planning method acts as an analysis stage and a tool used in business process analysis using the Unified Modeling Language to identify all actors involved and a matrix of relationships between data entities, business processes, and applications. This research provides recommendations modules that can use in open source ERP applications appropriate for the company.

PT. Docil Berkah Abadi is a retailer that offers motorcycle accessories, primarily windshields, via e-commerce, resellers, distributors, and an offline store. Additionally, subsidiary companies sell additional varieties of accessories. Mission of this organization is to dominate the market for motorcycle accessories in Indonesia and to innovate our products via subsidiary companies. PT. Docil Berkah Abadi has serious problems in its business process because the previously running business processes are not effective and result in too large fixed costs incurred by PT.Docil berkah Abadi This is the time from the beginning of the order acceptance until the goods are sold too long. The number of employees who have been discharged does not correspond to the salary costs already incurred by PT. Docil Berkah Abadi This is a very expensive rental because you have to store a lot of stock. The aim of this study is to improve business processes by understanding the roots of the problem with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and improve the business process with Business Process Improvement. (BPI). The author uses five whys on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) analysis and performs identification on business early processes, and improves business by streamlining with Bureaucracy Elimination and Upgrading. This study was conducted using qualitative methods. The researchers conducted in-depth interviews with several divisions of the company to gain insight into the business processes of the enterprise. The results of the interviews showed that the business processes used by the company are still less accurate. Using interview insights, the researchers built a new process business using flowchart.

RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM MONITORING PENJUALAN BARANG DI TOKO MAINAN LOVELLA TOYS

Companies that master technology and information will be able to master and become leaders in their field of business. By utilizing information technology, companies can run business processes more quickly and can process data more accurately. Lovella Toys Toy Store is a company engaged in selling toys for hobbies. Recording of sales that still uses Manual Notes for proof of transactions every day, and then at the end of the sale will be input into a Microsoft Excel file. It can make the data inaccurate because can be an input error that causes the transaction not input correctly in the Sales Data Format. A web-based computerized system is needed so that every piece of information provides added value to the process of quality management, decision-making, and problem-solving along with a competitive advantage that is useful for sales activities. This study uses qualitative research methods using field research approaches and library research in its data collection methods. The results are in the form of a web-based monitoring data processing system prototype which is expected to minimize and even solve current problems.

The Development of web-based Cashier and Inventory Information Systems using Prototyping Model on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) in Indonesia

One example of information technology that has been widely applied to the business processes of a business venture is a web-based information system. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive businesses supporting the country's economy and individual companies. One of the MSMEs that will be the object of research this time is MSME Putra Anugrah Sejahtera, and This MSMEs sells premium spray paint for wheels with more than 100 colours. Around 15-20 customers daily make direct transactions at these MSMEs. In the running business processes, there are several obstacles, such as incorrect information when checking the stock of goods and recording sales transactions. This research aims to produce a web-based cashier and inventory information system to minimize errors and simplify sales and inventory transactions. System development using the Prototyping model with RDBMS MySQL was successfully developed. The results testing of systems using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) show that the resulting system follows user needs and answers the obstacles UMKM Putra Anugrah Sejahtera faces.

Information System Strategic Planning at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Ternate

Institut Agama Islam Ternate (IAIN) is one of the universities that run business processes in terms of educational services. IAIN Ternate has implemented information systems and information technology (IS/IT) to support its business processes. However, the implementation of IS/IT has not been equipped with strategic planning, so all forms of procurement, development, and maintenance of IS/IT are only available upon request and are not yet aligned with the organization's strategic plan. This research was conducted to design organizational needs into an IS/IT strategic plan at IAIN Ternate using the Ward and Peppard Framework. This research was conducted using interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with the leaders and staff of the units at IAIN Ternate. The tools used for the analysis of the organization's internal environment are SWOT and value chain; for the analysis of the organization's external environment, PESTLE and McFarlan Grid are used to map the application portfolio. Based on the results of the study, IAIN Ternate has utilized IS and IT. To achieve the vision, mission, and objectives of IAIN Ternate, it is recommended that IS/IT become a priority for development. The IT Strategic Plan consists of an IS strategy, an IT strategy, and an IS/IT management strategy.

Design of a Sales Performance System for SMEs based on Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse

The influence of information technology today is powerful. It impacts people's lives because technological changes are running so fast and affect the way of thinking and behaving in competition in the business world and organizations. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) must be able to adapt to this technology to maintain their business. It means that digitizing SMEs means integrating technology into all business activities. In this study, Toko Cerme is the object of research. The Toko Cerme is a SMEs in the form of a minimarket located in Central Java, Indonesia. The Toko Cerme takes advantage of technology to help run business processes so that they can be managed optimally. In running its business, The Toko Cerme is currently using an information system to input product data and transaction activities. The purpose of this research is to propose a Design of a Sales Performance System based on Business Intelligence and a Data Warehouse to support business processes at the Toko Cerme so that it can efficiently process data and information in the future. From the research that the authors conducted, it can be concluded that the results of this study are the creation of a data warehouse and business intelligence design using the nine steps Kimbal method. At the same time, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) is a tool. The design is used as a reference in producing information relating to sales transactions.
 
 

XAI in the Context of Predictive Process Monitoring: An Empirical Analysis Framework

Predictive Process Monitoring (PPM) has been integrated into process mining use cases as a value-adding task. PPM provides useful predictions on the future of the running business processes with respect to different perspectives, such as the upcoming activities to be executed next, the final execution outcome, and performance indicators. In the context of PPM, Machine Learning (ML) techniques are widely employed. In order to gain trust of stakeholders regarding the reliability of PPM predictions, eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) methods have been increasingly used to compensate for the lack of transparency of most of predictive models. Multiple XAI methods exist providing explanations for almost all types of ML models. However, for the same data, as well as, under the same preprocessing settings or same ML models, generated explanations often vary significantly. Corresponding variations might jeopardize the consistency and robustness of the explanations and, subsequently, the utility of the corresponding model and pipeline settings. This paper introduces a framework that enables the analysis of the impact PPM-related settings and ML-model-related choices may have on the characteristics and expressiveness of the generated explanations. Our framework provides a means to examine explanations generated either for the whole reasoning process of an ML model, or for the predictions made on the future of a certain business process instance. Using well-defined experiments with different settings, we uncover how choices made through a PPM workflow affect and can be reflected through explanations. This framework further provides the means to compare how different characteristics of explainability methods can shape the resulting explanations and reflect on the underlying model reasoning process.

Development of E-Commerce Information System at Az-Zahra Shop Using Laravel Framework

Az-zahra Furniture Store is a furniture store which is located at Jalan Raya Pasar Cipunagara, Subang, West Java. In its business process, as an effort to expand the reach of consumers and move towards digitization, a website-based e-commerce system called e-fazastore is designed which is expected to help az-zahra furniture store in running business processes. With this e-commerce system, it will assist in several activities such as selling and managing furniture data, managing customer order data and facilitating transactions between the two parties, namely the seller and their customers, as well as making it easier to find out the available inventory. The system is built using the Laravel framework with an MVC (Model, View, Controller) architectural design system, which is a design method that divides the program structure into three main parts, namely data (Model), system view (View) and how to operate a data flow (Model). controller) in the system

Database-Less Extraction of Event Logs from Redo Logs

Process mining is widely adopted in organizations to gain deep insights about running business processes. This can be achieved by applying different process mining techniques like discovery, conformance checking, and performance analysis. These techniques are applied on event logs, which need to be extracted from the organization’s databases beforehand. This not only implies access to databases, but also detailed knowledge about the database schema, which is often not available. In many real-world scenarios, however, process execution data is available as redo logs. Such logs are used to bring a database into a consistent state in case of a system failure. This paper proposes a semi-automatic approach to extract an event log from redo logs alone. It does not require access to the database or knowledge of the databaseschema. The feasibility of the proposed approach is evaluated on two synthetic redo logs.

A Data Centre Configurable Data Mining Document Management Information System

Data extraction is often a dynamic process that can be easily modelled as a workflow for data processing. When massive collections of data have to be evaluated and/or sophisticated data mining algorithms have to be performed, it can take very long to execute data analysis workflows. Effective technologies are also needed to incorporate flexible data collection workflows through the use of cloud-based storage platforms, where data is stored even more regularly. The paper attempts to show how cloud infrastructure is implemented to introduce an optimised framework in which scalable data analyzation workflows can be planned and performed. We explain how the Data Mining Cloud Architecture is built and applied and a data analytics method that incorporates visual workflow vocabulary, parallel to the Virtualized environment. DMCF is developed with a view to simplifying the creation of applications for data mining associated with generic system monitoring schemes that are not created especially for this area, in view of the specifications of actual data mining applications. The effects are a high-level environment that minimises the programming effort with an optimised visual workflow language, allowing the implementation of typical patterns meant to generate and execute data mining application in parallel simple to professional developers. The wall mounted of the workflow, device design and mechanisms of the DMCF are shown. We also address many DMCF-developed data mining business processes and the scalability achieved by running business processes in a cloud environment.

UNIVERSITY SERVICE WEBSITE QUALITY MEASUREMENT WITH WEBQUAL 4,0 (CASE STUDY: FACULTY OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA)

The implementation of the website as a service medium has become very popular in the developments of universities, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which implements health protocols. With the existence of a website-based service information system, it is possible to continue running business processes in service to users without having to come and avoid direct or face-to-face interactions. FBE UII implements a Website Service Information System to serve students online, which replaces the manual system that is served directly and face-to-face. Firstly, it is implemented until now, there has never been a measurement of the quality of service that comes from its users. The measurement used the WebQual 4.0 method which measures the user's assessment of 3 areas, namely usability, information quality, service interaction quality which affects user satisfaction with the parameter of the users using the service website. This research was conducted at the FBE UII. Research data collection used a questionnaire. The population was FBE UII students who had used the service website. The results of this study were the conclusions of successful website implementation to replace the previously used system, the quality of website-based services on information systems was good, the perception of user ratings was easy to interact with, and recommendations for strategic steps, namely migrating other services by utilizing integrated service websites.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Penggajian Karyawan PT. Boetomix Nusantara Lestari Berbasis WEB

Design of payroll information systems and requests for funds to the company PT. Boetomix Nusantara Lestari WEB-based still uses Microsoft Excel. By using MS Excel, errors that occur in inputting data and requesting payroll data have many errors. The process of sending goods data still uses whatsapp, because whatsapp used by the salary recapitulation officer has difficulty at the end of every month. This application designed has the aim of providing convenience for users so that the recitation process at PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari can run quickly and has a high level of accuracy. Interviews, observations and document analysis are methods used in the data collection process. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to describe running business processes and the relationship between users and the system. The employee payroll information system has been tested and the results are in accordance with the needs of PT. Boetomix Nusanara Lestari.

ВИКОРИСТАННЯ РІЗНИХ ВИДІВ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ У МІЖНАРОДНОМУ БІЗНЕСІ

The paper offers insights into basic technology used by modern multinational corporations along with identifying the key trends in modern technological environment and outlining its further development prospects. The study reveals that one of the most significant manifestations of the new economy is the process of commercialization of the information sector and the transfer of business operations and part of business process to cyberspace which drives its growth together with the emergence of a new industry – e-commerce, a new sector of the economy that rapidly is becoming more promising and dynamic. It is emphasized that this sector is based on the new models of cooperation between producers, consumers and intermediaries, as well as on new specific product promotion methods. Yet, this does not deny traditional forms of interaction between economic agents and the movement of goods, on the contrary – suggests alternatives to complement them. Within the scope of this article, information networks are considered both as the environment for running business processes, and as the e-commerce infrastructure. The research findings demonstrate that use of modern technology contributes to better adaptation of international business to dynamic challenges of globalization and integration, as well as ensures progress in shaping a modern global economic area. Apart from that, an in-depth analysis of the contemporary technological environment provides evidence that information society encourages producers of goods and services to more rapidly develop technologies at different levels and to suggest a methodology for their application.

Business Process Event Prediction Through Scalable Online Learning

Predictive process monitoring techniques aim to forecast outcomes of running business process instances. These techniques are based on using predictive models built from past observed behavior, i.e., in an offline setting. However, business process behavior usually changes over time and predictive models are therefore at risk of becoming obsolete. Because of this, the definition of systems that build predictive models through an online setting has recently gained attention. Nevertheless, the scalability of this kind of setting within a context where the amount of data available is experiencing rapid growth is an outstanding issue. To solve this problem, this paper aims to define a framework for event sequence prediction capable of taking advantage of modern distributed processing platforms. An implementation over this framework based on Apache Flink is presented and it is tested upon two different case studies to prove its validity and its capacity to scale.

Determination of school business processes is very important in order to achieve the vision, mission, and goals of the school that has been determined, but many schools that run business processes do not follow the standards set by the national education standards body. Therefore there is a need for a business process that is in line with national education standards. The final results obtained from this study are in the form of architectural business process models from schools using the Togaf ADM method that can be used as a reference in conducting every business process in school.
