Analisis Perbandingan Metode MOORA dan MOOSRA dalam Seleksi Siswa Unggulan

Educational strategies in the current era really need to be developed so that the advantages that each student has can be made into superior achievements. The selection of superior student selection is very important in the education strategy with the aim of getting superior seeds that will be fostered so that they achieve even more and increase the motivation of each student. At present, most schools carry out the selection of superior students manually by taking the value of each student's report card. Selection with a large number of students sometimes makes it difficult for teachers or the school to choose who has the right to be a superior student. The results of the assessment or consideration of each teacher tend to be subjective. So that there are often misunderstandings in making the final decision in determining who is entitled to be a superior student. Therefore, a decision support system is needed that aims to make it easier to select superior students whose results will be effective. In solving the problem of selecting superior students, the author uses the MOORA method and the MOOSRA method. The results of the study prove that the comparison between the MOORA and MOOSRA methods has the same results, where the MOORA method has the highest yield in alternative 3 with a result of 0.2997 and in alternative 3 MOOSRA method with a result of 13.1548.

Implementing evidence-based obesity management guidelines requires development of medical competencies: A commentary outlining future directions in obesity education in Canada

BackgroundThis commentary provides an overview of forthcoming activities by Obesity Canada (OC) to inform obesity competencies in medical education. Competencies in medical education refer to abilities of medical professionals to appropriately provide patients the care they need. A recognized Canadian framework for informing medical competencies is CanMEDs. Additionally, the Obesity Medicine Education Collaborative (OMEC) provides 32 obesity specific medical competencies to be integrated across medical education curriculum. OC released the first globally recognized Adult Obesity Clinical Practice Guideline (CPGs) in 2020 inclusive of 80 recommendations. Referring to the CanMEDs and OMEC competencies, OC is developing medical education competencies for caring for patients who have obesity in line with the recent CPGs that can be applied to health professions education programs around the world. MethodsActivities being completed by OC’s Education Action Team include a scoping review to summarize Canadian obesity medical education interventions or programs. Next, with expert consensus a competency set is being developed by utilizing the CanMEDs Framework, OMEC and the CPGs. Following this, OC will initially survey undergraduate medical programs across the country and determine to what degree they are meeting the competencies in content delivery. These findings will lead to a national report card outlining the current state of obesity medical education in Canada within undergraduate medical education. ResultsTo date, OC has completed the scoping review and the competency set. The Education Action Team is in the process of developing the survey tools to assess the current delivery of obesity medical education in Canada. ConclusionThe evidenced-based report card will support advocacy to refine and enhance future educational initiatives with the overall goal of improving patient care for individuals living with obesity. The process being applied in Canada may also be applicable and modified for other regions to assess and better obesity medical education.

Relationship Between Student Perceptions of Teacher Creativity with Student Learning Achievement in Tangerang

This study aims to determine student perceptions of teacher creativity in managing class (X). Student achievement of Islamic religious education in Cipondoh District, Tangerang City (Y). Whether or not there is a relationship between students' perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes and student achievement in Islamic religious education at State Junior High Schools in Cipondoh District, Tangerang City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research subjects totaled 32 respondents, using a stratified random sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire instrument (X) and a report card value documentation instrument to collect data (Y). The collected research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Testing the hypothesis shows a positive relationship between student perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes and student achievement in Islamic religious education at Cipondoh District Public Middle School, Tangerang City. This can be seen from the recount (observation ratio value) of 0.641, greater than the rtable (correlation table value) at the significance level of 5%:0.349 and 1%:0.449. This shows that the teacher's creativity determines 64% of the variation in Islamic religious education learning achievement scores. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a positive relationship between students' perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes and student achievement in Islamic religious education, in the sense that the higher student perceptions of teacher creativity in managing classes, the better student achievement in religious education.

The Contribution School Management Based on Educational Quality Report to Increase the Quality of Basic Education Banten Province

The government has consistently attempted to enhance education quality. Effective school administration is required to improve educational quality by focusing on Competency, Content, Process, Educators, Infrastructure, administration, Funding, and Assessment standards. The purpose of this study is to examine the contribution of school administration on educational quality based on quality of education reports. The quantitative research approach was utilized to obtain data from respondents using survey instruments about school management and education quality report cards. Statistical approaches were used to analyze the data. Based on the data, school administration contributed 32.7% to the quality of education.

Decision Support System for Financial Aid for Underprivileged Students using the TOPSIS Method

The distribution of Financial Aid for Underprivileged Students is considered not to be on target due to the unmeasured selection process. So a decision-making system is needed that can select beneficiaries objectively. This research was conducted to assist the school in determining students who deserve this assistance. The purpose of this research is to build a decision-making system for selecting beneficiaries from poor students by applying the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method. The formulation of the problem is how to build a decision support system using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method in selecting students who receive financial aid for underprivileged students. The method used goes through several stages, namely: determining alternatives and criteria, building a normalized decision matrix, building a weighted normalized decision matrix, determining positive and negative ideal solutions, determining the distance between ideal solutions, and determining preference values. There are 7 criteria used, namely social protection card recipients, total income, number of dependents, parental status, distance, class, and report card scores. The results showed that the highest preference value for each alternative was in alternative A3, with a score of 0.6665. While the lowest preference value is in alternative A20 with a score of 0.0719, From the results of the study, it was concluded that the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method can be used in making decisions on the selection of beneficiaries of poor students based on preference value rankings.

Impact of the covid-19 pandemic on physical education: Investigating basic motor skills, physical activity, fitness, and academic achievement

The physical education learning process due to the covid-19 pandemic which resulted in students doing distance learning, limiting physical activity, and having to be physical distanced, became a challenge for students to be able to complete academic achievements in physical education. The purpose of the study of impact covid-19 on basic motor skills, physical activity, fitness, and academic achievement in Physical Education in 9-10-years-old School Children. Materials and methods this study were a correlation study, the object of as many as 80 elementary school students in the Lamongan district aged 9-10 years, who had a body mass index of 19-25 kg/m, normal blood pressure, and normal heart rate voluntarily became a study sample. Data collection for basic motor skills used TGMD-2, Physical activity used PAQ-C, and Fitness used the Indonesian Academic Achievement in Physical Education, Fitness Test used student report cards taken after one semester. The analysis sample used correlation with a significant rate of 0.05%. The result correlation showed that BMS and F were significantly correlated to AA but not correlated to PA (p < 0.000) whereas BMS was significantly correlated to PA and F using (p < 0.000). Conclusions of the study show that the impact of covid-19 affects learning achievement in Physical Education in 9-10-years-old School Children, variables that affect learning outcomes Physical Education are basic motor skills and fitness, while variables of physical activity and fitness directly affect the basic motor skills of students, then the learning outcomes of physical education in school programs are indirectly influenced by physical activity. Future research should conduct an investigation into the variables that are consistently associated with academic success in physical education among young children. This will provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

Does Social Media Dominate Government Report Cards in Influencing Nursing Home Demand?

Problem definition: Social media has become an indispensable platform for disseminating quality information to consumers across various service sectors. Recently, it has extended its influence to healthcare services, which traditionally relied on government report cards to disclose standardized quality information to the public. This article explores the impact of social media on consumer demand for healthcare services and compares its effectiveness with government report cards. Methodology/results: We analyze quality ratings of U.S. nursing homes collected from two information channels: (1) consumer ratings on Yelp and (2) government ratings on Nursing Home Compare, both of which adopt a five-star quality rating scale and are accessible on the Internet. We employ the method of difference-in-differences with continuous treatment intensity and instrumental variables to analyze the data. Using nursing home resident admissions as a proxy for consumer demand, we find that higher Yelp ratings led to higher consumer demand, particularly among Medicare-covered consumers. Furthermore, the effect of Yelp ratings was primarily driven by extreme ratings (one-star or five-star), as opposed to neutral ratings. We also find that Yelp ratings exerted a stronger effect on consumer demand than government ratings. This dominance of Yelp ratings over government ratings was observed primarily in markets with high Yelp penetration or markets with low and medium consumer education levels. Although higher Yelp ratings were associated with increased net incomes, we find little evidence that nursing homes made quality improvement in response to their Yelp ratings. Managerial implications: We recommend that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recognize social media platforms as valuable sources of information and collaborate with reputable platforms, such as Yelp, to promote public awareness of government report cards like Nursing Home Compare. Moreover, we advise nursing home operators to proactively manage their reputation on social media by promptly addressing consumer complaints and implementing quality improvement measures. Funding: Y. New Dimensions of Staffing Patterns in Nursing Homes and Nursing Home Quality: Comparing Staffing Instability to Staffing Turnover.

This study examines how measures of staffing-turnover and instability-are associated with one another and how they independently contribute to quality of care in nursing homes. Cross-sectional analysis of 2021-2022 administrative data. Data included the Payroll Based Journal for daily staffing information, merged with Nursing Home Care Compare (NHCC) data for nursing home characteristics, total staffing turnover, and nursing home quality. A total of 11,840 nursing homes nationally reporting data on daily staffing and staffing turnover. We explored correlations between measures of staffing and estimated facility-level regression models with robust standard errors. The dependent variables were indicators of nursing home quality included in the NHCC 5-star ratings. The independent variables of interest were average total staffing hours per resident-day, total staffing turnover, and total staffing instability. For the 11,840 nursing homes in the study, there was a weak positive correlation between turnover and instability, with some overlap between nursing homes with high instability and high turnover. Regression analysis revealed that staffing instability and turnover contributed independently to nursing home quality, with instability having a stronger association with some measures of quality and turnover with others. Staffing instability was positively and more strongly associated with long-stay residents' decline in activities of daily living levels and receipt of antipsychotic drugs and short-stay residents' functioning at discharge. Turnover was positively and more strongly associated with long-stay residents' prevalence of pressure ulcers and worsening mobility, and short-stay residents' hospitalizations. Instability and turnover in total nursing home staffing independently contribute to nursing home quality. This suggests that adding measures of staffing instability to the existing measures of average staffing and staff turnover in NHCC may enhance the report card's value for providers engaged in quality improvement and consumers searching for high-quality nursing homes.

Penerapan Metode Topsis Untuk Rekomendasi Penetapan Siswa Berprestasi Penerima Penghargaan Tahunan Di Tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama

In a school, the ranking of outstanding students is usually only chosen based on their report card scores, as well as in SMP PGRI 16. The selection of outstanding students at SMP PGRI 16 is only based on grades (raport) which are ranked 1 to 3 only. In the selection process there are many opportunities to make wrong decisions because the student selection process is only based on one aspect, namely student scores (raport), while the values of attitudes and achievements obtained outside of school are not taken into consideration as additional criteria for determining students who are considered outstanding and receive annual awards. This means that most likely the selected outstanding students do not reach the desired standard and do not get the best candidates. The purpose of this research is as an alternative way for schools to determine outstanding students so that they are not based solely on academic scores, and there is no cheating in the selection of outstanding students. The method used in this study is the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The results of this study are that the TOPSIS method can provide the best results from the criteria and weights that have been determined. From the calculation results with the TOPSIS method, it was obtained by a student named MRF with a preference value of 0.9742

Implementasi Penilaian Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini di Kota Palangka Raya

The implementation of the learning assessment at Rahmat Al-Falah Palangka Raya Kindergarten which has been carried out properly every day by referring to 6 aspects of early childhood development, namely religious and moral, cognitive, physical-motor, language, social emotions and children 's arts values as stated in the Child Development Achievement Level Standard (STPPA). This study aims to describe the implementation of early childhood learning assessments in Rahmat AlFalah Palangka Raya Kindergarten. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The primary data sources are 2 (two) Group B3 teachers and 24 students, as well as the Head of Kindergarten Rahmat Al-Falah as an informant Data mining uses observation techniques, interviews and documentation that are validated using triangulation techniques and sources. Furthermore, an analysis was carried out with 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of learning assessments was carried out by teachers every day using the Daily Assessment Format which refers to the Child Development Achievement Level Standard (STPPA) with 8 principles. The growth assessed is weight, height and head circumference in each child. Meanwhile, thedevelopment assessed includes 6 aspects of development, namely religious and moral values, cognitive, physical-motor, language, social emotions and art. The types of learning assessments used such as observation, question and answer, anecdotal notesand work results, types of learning assessment reporting in the form of learning outcomes report books or report cards in writing in the form of descriptions or narratives and checklists on child development.

OTT BL(Boys’ Love) 콘텐츠의 대중화 전략 및 수용 특징 연구

Focusing on the recent trend of producing and distributing a large number of BL (Boys' Love) contents on OTT(over-the-top) platforms, this study examined the background and popularization success strategy through a text and acceptance characteristics analysis of WATCHA Original’s series “Semantic Error”. “Semantic Error” is evaluated as a work that has been a catalyst for bringing BL to the public level, which was previously enjoyed by a small number of female fans with male homosexual tastes on specific platforms. A meticulous popularization strategy was hidden behind the spectacular report cards, including securing the long-term No. 1 viewer ranking creating topics of conversation, and achieving the commercial success of related IPs. As a result, “Semantic Error” spread to more audiences, leading to increased interest among IPs such as novels, webtoons, and dramas, as well as strategic level control aimed at expanding BL audiences and enjoying variations based on Super IP. “Semantic Error” is also meaningful in that it presented an evolved BL type by breaking away from the cliché of stereotypical BL such as 'seme' and 'uke'. The story development, which focuses on love, friendship, and growth, was recognized by viewers as an ordinary drama, not BL, and served as a pointt of attraction and competitiveness as a “content” which was confirmed through text and audience response analysis.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Website Dengan Metode SDLC

In the conditions of today's globalization, information technology is developing rapidly. School really need an academic information system that supports and makes it easy for staff and parents of student.This research is motivated by a lack of information about children’s learning development. And because parents of schoolchildren lack information about their children's learning, the result is that parents do not know the development of their child’s school learning. The purpose of this research is of course to provide benefits for staff, teacher and parents to make it easier to get information or the results of school development from students. The method that the author uses in developing this software is the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) waterfall model. Therefore, researchers try to help with problems that exist in schools such as the lack of updating of data or information contained in schools. By creating a computerized system, it is hoped that it can work to help teacher provide information to parents of students. A web-based system that contains student attendance list, student daily activity plans, and report cards which are the end result of student development at school.The author tested this academic information system by using a regression test. The test results show that this system meets the test success criteria, such as acccuracy and speed in processing data. A website-based academic information system using the SDLC method can help users manage academic data easily, quicly and accurately. The SDLC method used can help develop a good and correct system, and according to user needs.

Pengaruh Keterlibatan Orang Tua dalam Pengelolaan Waktu Belajar Siswa di Rumah terhadap Prestasi Akademis di Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to explore the influence of parental involvement in managing students' study time at home on their academic performance in Cingambul I Elementary School (SDN). Through a quantitative approach, data were collected using questionnaires distributed to parents or guardians and students' report card records. Data analysis indicated a significant relationship between the level of parental involvement and students' academic performance. Parents who were more involved tended to have children with higher academic achievement. The implications of this study include the need to develop learning strategies that actively involve parents, support parents in increasing their involvement, and the crucial role of policymakers in creating an inclusive and responsive educational environment. By strengthening collaboration between schools and families, it is hoped that a better learning environment can be created, motivating students and enhancing their academic performance. This conclusion makes a significant contribution to strengthening elementary education, with the hope that every child will have an equal opportunity to achieve academic success.

Metode Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ration Analysis Dalam Penentuan Penerima Beasiswa

Scholarships provide significant benefits by opening the door to access education that previously might have been difficult to reach. The problem in this study arises from the conventional method used in the process of determining scholarship recipients. The Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ration Analysis method or often known as the MOOSRA method is an innovative approach that combines two important concepts, namely multi-objective optimization and financial ratio analysis. This study aims to apply the MOOSRA method in the selection of scholarship recipients using criteria, namely the average value of report cards, parents' income, and the number of siblings. The ranking results using the MOOSRA method for scholarship recipients were obtained for rank 1, namely with a final grade of 2.17382 by Student C, rank 2 with a final grade of 1.75556 by Student B, and rank 3, namely with a final grade of 1.63415 by Student D.

Understanding of Report Card Quality and Principal's Leadership Regarding Preparation of School Work Plans in Public Elementary Schools West Pasaman Regency

This research is motivated by the ability of school principals who are less able to prepare School Work Plans and are less able to utilize the results of Quality Reports in making School Work Plans so that there is no synchronization between Quality Reports and School Work Plans. This study aims to determine the contribution of understanding the quality report cards and the principal's leadership to preparing school work plans in public elementary schools (SD) of West Pasaman Regency. This study uses the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, with a population of 252 principals and a sample of 82 people from the total population taken from the principal at the State Elementary School in West Pasaman Regency. The type of data used is primary data. Sources of data come from the number of principals, characteristics, and so on. The analysis technique used is the average score (Mean) for the description of the data, the requirements test, namely the normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and independence test. Then test the hypothesis with simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the study stated that the understanding of the quality report card and the principal's leadership together contributed to the preparation of the school work plan by 34.3%, this explains that the better understanding of the quality report card and the leadership of the principal has an impact on the better quality of the preparation of school work plans.

Design of Web-Based Model Decision Support System for Selecting Exemplary Students Using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method at SMAS Sultan Agung Puger

The educational strategy adopted so far is general in nature, providing standard or average treatment to all students, so that it pays little attention to differences between students in their skills, interests and talents. With this kind of strategy, excellence will appear randomly and really depends on students' learning motivation and learning environment. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the advantages possessed by each student so that the potential possessed can be converted into superior achievements. In order to motivate students to continue to excel, Sultan Agung Private High School conducts activities to develop the potential of students through selecting exemplary students. A decision support system (SPK) to facilitate the selection of model students and utilize Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) as a decision-making method. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a method that can determine the weight of the value of each attribute, then can determine the ranking so that the best alternative can be selected from several alternatives. The criteria used to evaluate the selection of exemplary students at the Sultan Agung Private High School are the average grades of report cards, attitudes/morals, and absenteeism. These calculations will be implemented in the PHP programming language and MySql database.

Long-Term Follow-Up of Colonoscopy Quality Monitoring.

High-quality colonoscopy is paramount for colorectal cancer prevention. Since 2009, endoscopists at our institution have received quarterly report cards summarizing individual colonoscopy quality indicators. We have previously shown that implementing this intervention was associated with short-term improvement in adenoma detection rate (ADR). However, the long-term effect of continued monitoring on colonoscopy quality is unclear. We conducted a retrospective study of prospectively administered quarterly colonoscopy quality report cards at the Roudebush Veteran's Affairs Medical Center between April 1, 2012, and August 31, 2019. The anonymized reports included individual endoscopists' ADRs, cecal intubation rates, and withdrawal times. Analyses were performed to determine slopes over time for each quality metric by physician and assess for differences based on whether ADRs were calculated quarterly or yearly. Data from the report cards of 17 endoscopists who had performed 24,361 colonoscopies were included. The mean quarterly ADR (±SD) was 51.7% (±11.7%) and mean yearly ADR was 47.2% (±13.8%). There was a small increase in overall ADR based on quarterly and yearly measurements (slope + 0.6%, P = 0.02; and slope +2.7%, P < 0.001, respectively), but no significant change in individual ADRs, cecal intubation rates, or withdrawal times. Analysis of SD of ADRs showed no significant difference between yearly and quarterly measurements ( P = 0.064). Individual endoscopists' ADR SD differences between yearly and quarterly measurements ranged from -4.7% to +6.8%. Long-term colonoscopy quality monitoring paralleled stable improvements in overall ADR. For endoscopists with baseline high ADR, frequent monitoring and reporting of colonoscopy quality metrics may not be necessary.

The Relationship between Thinking Patterns and Academic Achievement in the Subject of Social Sciences

This study aims to investigate the relationship between students' thinking patterns and their academic achievement in the subject of Social Sciences. The research methodology involves conducting the Lilliefors Normality Test to ensure the data follows a normal distribution and the Product Moment Correlation Test to analyze the correlation between variables. The sample selection is based on random sampling technique using the Slovin Formula, resulting in a sample size of 32 students. The thinking patterns variable is measured using a questionnaire distributed to the selected students as research respondents, while academic achievement is obtained from the students' report card scores. The analysis results reveal a significant and strong positive relationship between students' thinking patterns and their academic achievement in the 8th grade at SMPN 3 Kota Solok. This finding suggests that students who exhibit favorable thinking patterns are more likely to achieve higher academic performance in Social Sciences. Therefore, it is recommended for educators to pay attention to fostering and enhancing students' thinking patterns to promote better academic outcomes. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing empirical evidence on the importance of thinking patterns in relation to academic achievement in the field of Social Sciences.

Penerapan Metode TOPSIS Untuk Menentukan Penerima Bantuan Santri Kurang Mampu Pada Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Pondok Pesantren

In The educational unit is one of the tools to achieve educational goals in Indonesia. Most educational institutions in Indonesia are still experiencing some problems in selecting candidates for assistance, because they are still evaluating in a conventional way so that it is feared that the recipients of the assistance will be students or students not fairly and appropriately. target. Therefore, it is necessary to create a Decision Support System for Recipients of Santri or Student Assistance, to determine which students or students fall within the criteria for being eligible to receive such assistance. The criteria used are 6 criteria, namely parents' income, crafts, type of floor of the house, average report card score, parents' occupation, and vehicle ownership. Making this system uses the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method, which is a decision-making method with a hierarchical structure, which is indeed included in the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM).
