PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER QUR’ANI DALAM PERSPEKTIF PENGASUH PONDOK PESANTREN PUTRI 1 AL-AMIEN PRENDUAN

Education is defined as a means of civilizing and distributing values that can shape a better character. Character education aims to form moral, intelligent, rational, innovative, hard-working, optimistic, and confident human beings. Qur'anic character is a character that must be instilled in every child. Islamic boarding school is an environment that is able to build the Qur'anic character of every child because boarding school is an educational institution that upholds religious values. This article describes the Quranic character education applied in a islamic boarding school. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenology, which is located at girls islamic boarding school 1 of Al-Amien Prenduan. The data obtained are based on two sources, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Furthermore, checking the validity of the data by extending observations, triangulation. The results of this study are: The caregive of the girls Islamic boarding school 1 of Al-Amien Prenduan has a very important role in Qur'ani character education. student. Qur'anic character education what the caregivers do to the female students in this boarding school uses several concepts, namely imitating the Prophet Muhammad, exemplary and habituation. This aims to make female students have good morals in line with the moral values contained in the holy book Al-Qur'an.

Analytical Study of Qur’anic Ideologies: Applications toward Forgiveness and Justice for Survival of Humanity

This paper presents the importance and role of Quranic theories of forgiveness and justice for the social welfare of mankind. It is a general observation that intolerance in the behavior of the common man-caused uneasiness in society which resulted in social disputes. In such circumstances, the Holy Quran advises practicing forgiveness while dealing with others. Whereas in critical matters, the Holy Quran emphasizes justice, injustice in society resulted in very bad impacts like rebellions and distrust of social institutions. In this case, the Holy Quran stressed justice and promised to bestow (those who are appointed for justice) with huge rewards in the life hereafter. For the survival of humanity, forgiveness and justice are two basic elements. This paper deals with the various social situations in which the Holy Quran suggests forgiving or orders to do justice. The role of forgiveness and justice and the relationship between forgiveness and justice in the light of Quranic teachings are presented briefly.

PARADIGM RELEVANCE OF QURANIC EDUCATION TO PANCASILA STUDENT PROFILES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD

The background of this research is that education must be able to integrate divine and human values as formulated in the national education system that the essence of education has the goal of realizing the good personality of students. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to explore the paradigm of Quranic education and then interpret the profile of Pancasila students and find the relevance between Quranic education and the profile of Pancasila students. The method we use is a literature study with relevant literature and is interpreted as finding values, concepts, or ideas from the topics raised. The results of this study reveal that Quranic education is oriented towards building character guided by revelation which is closely related to monotheism and all aspects of life; the characteristics of Pancasila students which are the efforts of the Indonesian government to build the character of its citizens to comply with Pancasila values which consist of six components namely faith, fear of God Almighty, and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical and creative reasoning; As for the relevance of the six profiles of Pancasila students, they refer to the verses of the Al-Qur'an as the characteristics of the six profiles.

Infrastructural Facilities and Livelihood Activities of Rural Dwellers in Katsina State, Nigeria

The role of infrastructural facilities in increasing the productive potentials and livelihood activities of rural populace has never been in doubt. Against this background therefore, the study, examined the state of infrastructural facilities provisions and effect on livelihood activities of rural dwellers in Katsina State, Nigeria. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 224 respondents. Structured interview schedule was used to collect information on respondents’ socio-economic characteristics, availability and conditions of rural infrastructural facilities, livelihood activities, constraints and perceived effect of rural infrastructural facilities. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Most respondents were within 21-30 years of age, married, and had Quranic education and farming as primary occupation. Skills acquisition centres, storage facilities and secondary schools were among non-available infrastructural facilities while processing centres, storage and skills acquisition centres were in poor conditions. Levels of involvements in non-farm and off-farm/processing activities were low while high for agricultural activities. Most respondents’ overall level of perception on effect of infrastructural facilities on their livelihood activities was low. Also, levels of perceptions of the effect of infrastructural facilities on non-farm and off-farm/processing activities were low while level of perception on agricultural activities was high. Significant relationships existed between sex (χ2 =58.017, <p = 0.05), household size (χ2 = 5.393, <p = 0.05) and respondents’ perceived effect of infrastructural facilities. Also, significant correlations existed between age (r = 0.143, access (r = -0.232), condition (r = -0.130), constraints (r = 0.143) and respondents’ perceived effect of infrastructural facilities on their livelihood activities. Low effect of infrastructural facilities was informative to the abysmal level of infrastructural provisions and state of available ones in the area. Providing infrastructural framework based on people’s felt needs and implementing same accordingly is germane to improved livelihood activities in the area.

Islam and Ecological Sustainability: An Exploration into Prophet’s Perspective on Environment

The Quran— which is considered as the most sacred Islamic Scripture, the Word of Allah was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) via the Archangel Gabriel over 1400 years ago—and the Hadith— The Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him) cherished traditions, sayings, and affirmations in respect to religious issues embody Islam's perspective on the cosmos and the Divine, as well as humanity's relationship with both. When Allah constructed it, every detail was carefully thought out. These supernatural techniques guarantee the existence and protection of natural resources. Islam's environmental teachings are based on the fundamental understanding of how interconnected humans and all other living things are with the rest of the earth. Additionally, our survival and the survival of future generations depend on this information. Because caring for the world also includes caring for our own needs. Islam, is often referred to as a religion which unlike any other dictates it’s followers as to how they are supposed to be leading their life. It not only lays down religious perspectives about what is to be followed in a good and bad sense (i.e. to say the concept of Haraam and Halaal) but also brings about guidelines for the minutest of details of everyday life. According to Islam, protecting the environment is the only way to maintain the delicate balance of life. The Quranic teaching that humanity has been given guardianship over nature is supported by the most well-known Hadith on environmental issues, which states that, "The earth is green and beautiful, and Allah has appointed you his stewards over it."
 Although in the recent times the environmental crisis in Muslim nations has recently worsened due to a complicated web of issues, including globalization, economic competition, and political conflicts among the economically dominant states. In order to avert the destruction, a number of Islamic academicians and experts stressed the importance of reconsidering and going back to the Islamic environmental teachings. On the other side, many intellectuals have denounced Islamic beliefs as wholly ethical and unscientific without fully examining its discourses and detailed sermons. Since this has been emphasised as a key element of Islam as a religion and way of life, the mere fact that Islamic beliefs place weight on the individual's obligation to preserve the ecosystem needs to be thoroughly investigated. This paper highlights how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations in 2015 for environmental conservation stand aligned with lslam's strong commitment to protecting the environment and these traditions of the Prophet Muhammad's environmental practices which were practiced years ago. Environmental ethics and practices may be enhanced by focusing on the Islamic perspective on contemporary environmental concerns (such as resource depletion, pollution, and poverty). This study aims to stimulate the teachings of Islam on environmental issues in order to advance the role of religious and scientific organisations in environmental protection. providing appropriate responses. Several environmental challenges are discussed in this article from an Islamic viewpoint.

TEACHING AND LEARNING THE HOLY QURAN IN MALAYSIA AND OMAN: AN OVERVIEW

The Quran is the Holy Book in Islam and reading it is an act of worship. Various efforts have been made by the Muslim scholars to ensure that the Muslim generation is able to read the Quran. Based on this statement, this study aims to study the teaching and learning al-Quran in two Islamic countries, Malaysia and Oman. This study is a qualitative study in which the data analysed in this study will be the analysis of documents related to the development of Quranic teaching in Oman and Malaysia. This study found that the al-Baghdadiah method is the traditional method in teaching and learning the Holy Quran in Malaysia, while al-Baghdadiah method and al-Nuraniyyah method are traditional method in Oman. Second, the teachings of the Quran have also changed in accordance with the changes of the times. Third, both governments have shown great determination in ensuring that the Muslim generation can read the Quran by integrating the study of the Quran in the curriculum in their respective countries.

Challenges and Elements Needed for Children with Learning Disabilities in Teaching and Learning the Quran.

People with disabilities have the same right to access education and, therefore, the space and opportunity to study the Quran as other groups. However, there are some issues regarding the teaching of the Quran to students with special learning needs, such as from the aspects of the level of readiness of teachers, the mastery of Islamic Education among teachers who teach Special Education, and the use of teaching aids to teach the Quran. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the challenges, the need to develop a model of teaching and learning the Quran, elements to be included in the development of Quranic teaching, and a learning model for children with learning disabilities. A qualitative methodology was adopted using a case study design. The sample consisted of eight informants who volunteered to be involved in this research. The results show that there are seven main challenges in the teaching and learning of children with learning disabilities, i.e., a lack of stimulus materials, a lack of knowledge, limited time, uncontrolled behavior, traditional teaching, disabilities, and a lack of parental commitment. Thereafter, three themes arose in terms of identifying why it is necessary to develop Quran teaching and learning models for children with learning disabilities, such as the lack of an up-to-date model and the right to education. In addition, there were four themes concerning the elements that need to be included in the development of teaching and learning models for the Quran for children with learning disabilities, i.e., digital teaching aids, visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning styles, activities graded by the level of ability, and sensory support. It is hoped that this study will provide guidance to teachers to further strengthen the teaching profession pertaining to educating children with learning disabilities.

Fostering Religious Inclusivism Attitudes in School Through Learning The Quran and Ḥadīth

Education is a vitally essential social activity with the primary goal of enriching the social situation. Therefore, education that emphasizes building an inclusive and open attitude, particularly in religious matters, is crucial, particularly in the lives of a diverse society. This study aims to demonstrate how teaching selected passages from the Quran and the Ḥadīth in classrooms might help foster an inclusive mentality. This study used a qualitative approach with analytical descriptive research methods. A total of thirteen people participated in this study; eleven students from the Aliyah level and two educators from the MAN 1 Yogyakarta. The data was acquired through a combination of observation and semi-structured interviews. The study results indicated that the formation of inclusive religious attitudes through Quranic teaching and Ḥadīth could be accomplished using an integrative learning methodology based on historical approach, values analysis and case studies geared toward an inclusive model. Thus, students will automatically develop an inclusive and open attitude toward a variety of multicultural thoughts, including in matters of religion. As a result, it will allow them to build social groups of people living in harmony and may provide a way to solve various conflicts and hostility.

LEVELS AND ASSOCIATED FACTORS OF DEPRESSION AMONG VESICOVAGINAL FISTULA PATIENTS IN A STATE HOSPITAL, NORTHWEST NIGERIA

Vesico-vaginal stula (VVF) is the commonest urogenital stula in Sub-Saharan Africa. The psychological consequences of the condition though neglected may be more devastating than the physical injuries. The study aims to assess the levels and associated factors of depression among VVF patients in State Hospital in Northwest Nigeria. Adescriptive survey research design was utilized and data was collected among sixty women (60) with vesico-vaginal stula selected using purposive sampling technique using an interviewer administered questionnaire. The data was analyzed using SPSS Version 23.0 and ndings were presented in frequency distribution tables. Findings from the study shows that more than half (60%) of the respondents were between 15-24years old, four-fth (80%) of the respondents had no formal (Quranic) education and Three-fourth (71.7%) of the respondents were married. Majority of the respondents (61.7%) had moderate depression and the main factors associated with depression were lack of employment (96%), nancial problems (95%), lack of family support (95%), and stigma from the society (91.7%). Their main coping strategies adopted were prayers and emotional support. The study concluded that majority of women with VVF are faced with moderate depression and these are linked to the factors associated with depression. The nurses, family, hospital management and the government should assist in providing psychological support through various services to enhance and also improve mental health and quality of life of women suffering from Vesico-Vaginal Fistula.

The Quranic Concept of Economic Welfare

Quran lays emphasis on the economic welfare of humanity. Allah Almighty decreed rulers work for the welfare of individuals. Muslims have been asked at many places in Holy Quran to help their needy poor fellow so that the people in society continue to help each other, class difference may not come into existence and no one in society is left needy. Quranic concept of economic welfare lays stress on that kind of economic prosperity in which the people of society are spiritually and mentally calm and satisfied. It educates individuals in a way that may help them succeed in both worlds. Quranic teachings on the circulation of wealth make welfare a phenomenon common to all classes of society, so that clashes between different classes of society may be avoided. A Muslim also purifies his soul from all kinds of impurities with the help of Infaq fi Sabil-il-Allah and may hope to seek the reward of this the hereafter. Allah Almighty commands to build the structure of economic growth on the foundation of best morals. Allah Almighty declares clearly in Holy Quran that nations or Individual would be punished when they violate His commands. To work for attaining worldly benefits, without violating the rules of Shariah is a collective as well as an individual responsibility. The purpose of this research paper is to highlight the importance of the Quranic concept of economic welfare in the present era. The research paper follows a descriptive and analytical approach.

Islamic Perspectives of Integrating Muslim Cemeteries Planning with Recreational Areas in Urban Setting

The provision of Muslim cemeteries is a requirement stemming from the Quranic teaching that Muslims are buried upon death. Simultaneously, the provision of recreational areas is equally important for a healthy living environment and be part of the ten percent calculation of open spaces required by planning guideline. Due to the scarcity of land particularly in the urban area, one of the ways is to integrate these two types of land uses. This study seeks to examine the Islamic perspective of integrating Muslim cemeteries planning with recreational areas. Using content analysis, Islamic injunctions of the Quran and Hadith were examined together with their exegesis by Muslim scholars. In principle, it is permissible to integrate Muslim cemeteries with the recreational areas provided that their sanctity is preserved. There are limitations of recreational activities that could be done there and only the area with severe land scarcity is allowed to do so. Consequently, a specific planning guidelines for a hybrid cemetery is required as the current GP-010A and GP-005A are standing alone in guiding the cemeteries and open spaces planning respectively. This shariah permissibility based on Maslahah mursalah helps to address the requirement of recreational areas and Muslim cemeteries in an urban setting.

Tarannum Smart Learning Application: Embracing the beauty of tarranum through multimedia technology

<p><span lang="EN-US">This article discusses the development procedures of the Tarannum Smart Learning Application (Tarannum-SLA). It is a teaching and learning aid that has been developed for those who are interested in the </span><em><span lang="EN-US">tarannum</span></em><span lang="EN-US"> subject. The </span><em><span lang="EN-US">tarannum</span></em><span lang="EN-US"> is a technique to beautify and curve the tone of voice, in a certain tempo and rhythm when reading the Quran. The main aim of Tarannum-SLA is to facilitate the process of learning </span><em><span lang="EN-US">tarannum</span></em><span lang="EN-US">. Also, this courseware could create awareness among Muslims on the importance of the Quran. The Tarannum-SLA was developed not only to attract Muslims but also for non-Muslims who are interested to know about Islam, especially in terms of the arts of Quran recitation. Furthermore, in this courseware, we provide three language options, which are Malay, English, and Arabic for the convenience of our diverse prospective users. There are seven styles of </span><em><span lang="EN-US">tarannum</span></em><span lang="EN-US">, including Bayyati, Nahwand, Hijaz, Rast, Soba, Jiharkah, and Sika that are included in the Tarannum-SLA. Furthermore, to examine the ability of Tarannum-SLA to tackle the users’ needs, we have conducted the usability analysis based on the diffusion of innovation model. The result indicated that most of the constructs are perceived at a high level by respondents. Thus, this evidenced the high usability of Tarannum-SLA in promoting Quranic education. Although the development of this courseware has reached the implementation stage, it still needs some future improvements, for example, to amend the verses and reciters.</span></p>

Interpretation of Plants in the Quran from Tafsir Al-Azhar and Tafsir Al-Misbah

The Quran covers every inch of human needs in the aspect of this worldly life and the hereafter. In order to practice the Quranic teachings, Muslims have to understand the meanings of each verse of the Quran. Allah has remarkably used the element of plants in His revelations which describes the importance of the connection between humans and nature. Many types of plants have been mentioned in the Quran in various situations. The aim of this paper is to identify the plant terms in the Quran and analyse the themes related to the Quranic plant. The document analysis method is applied by collecting the verses that mention the plant-related terms and then, two plant themes were created which are plants associated with the punishment of Allah and plant parts associated with the power of Allah. The selected verses from the plant categories are analysed based on the interpretations of Tafsir al-Azhar by Hamka and Tafsir al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The results suggest that the plants are used as the punishment of Allah whether in this world or in the hereafter due to the wrongdoings committed by human beings. Controlling the life cycle of a plant is an easy matter for Allah and as an example of His absolute power because He knows every single unseen event that are hidden from the mankind. In conclusion, the mentioning of plants in the Quran is to call for mankind to know Allah, worship Him as the only God and glorify the greatness of Him.

The Use of Economic Jargon as A Method of Quranic Education for Business People

This study elaborates on the background of why the Quran uses economic jargons in conveying its meanings (maqâshid).The study was driven by the fact that the Quran is intended for all human beings with various social strata and professions, gender, age level, race, language, and so on; not just for business people. Another fact shows that the Quran in a not too long period of time has received significant acceptance from the wider community and gradually from the world community until now. This raises the suspicion that the jargons used by the Quran are indeed relevant to the culture of society when the Quran was revealed and even to human nature as homo economicus.This study uses a linguistic approach combined with a socio-cultural context (at-adab al-ijtima’i), and content analysis of relevant references, especially books of interpretation (kutub at-tafsîr).The results of the study reveal that the community when the Quran was revealed, namely the Quraysh, was a business community which of course had its own lingua franca. In conveying its meanings, the Quran uses, among other things, economic jargons such as tijârah (commerce), rabiha (profit), and khasira (loss). This use is certainly relevant to the socio-cultural context of the community and brings them closer to understanding the Quran. It also reveals that from an educational point of view, the Quran has its own method of conveying its teachings, which is called the Quranic method (al-uslûb al-Qur’ani). Studi ini mengelaborasi latar belakang mengapa Alquran menggunakan jargon-jargon ekonomi di dalam menyampaikan maksud-maksudnya (maqâshid). Studi tersebut didorong oleh kenyataan bahwa Alquran diperuntukkan bagi semua umat manusia dengan berbagai strata sosial dan profesinya, jenis kelamin, tingkatan usia, ras, bahasa, dan sebagainya; bukan untuk kalangan pelaku bisnis saja. Kenyataan lain menunjukkan bahwa Alquran dalam kurun waktu tidak terlalu lama telah mendapat penerimaan yang signifikan dari masyarakat luas dan secara berangsur dari masyarakat dunia sampai sekarang.Hal itu memunculkan dugaan bahwa jargon-jargon yang digunakan oleh Alquran memang relevan dengan kultur masyarakat ketika Alquran itu diturunkan dan bahkan dengan tabiat manusia sebagai homo economicus.Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kebahasaan dipadu dengan konteks sosio-kultural (al-adab al-ijtima’i), dan content analysis terhadap referensi yang relevan, terutama kitab-kitab tafsir. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa masyarakat ketika Alquran diturunkan, yaitu kaum Quraisy, adalah masyarakat bisnis yang tentunya memiliki lingua franca sendiri. Di dalam menyampaikan maksud-maksudnya, Alquran antara lain menggunakanan jargon-jargon ekonomi seperti tijârah (perniagaan), rabiha (untung), dan khasira (rugi). Penggunaan tersebut tentunya relevan dengan konteks socio-kultural masyarakat dan mendekatkan mereka kepada pemahaman Alquran. Hal itu sekaligus mengungkap bahwa dari sudut pandang kependidikan, Alquran mempunyai metode tersendiri di dalam menyampaikan ajarannya, yang disebut dengan metode Qurani (al-uslûb al-Qur’ani).

Prevalence of Hepatitis-B virus and HIV infections in Pregnant Women Receiving Antenatal Care Services, Kano – Nigeria

The dreadful nature of hepatitis-B virus (HBV) and HIV infections and their common mode of transmission during pregnancy have made them become an important global health problem and a leading cause of maternal complications and neonatal deaths in both developed and developing countries. The current study determined the seroprevalence of HBV and HIV amongst pregnant women receiving antenatal care services in Kano state. Structured questionnaires were distributed to 276 (14-49 years) consenting pregnant women across the six selected health facilities to obtain demographic and socio-economic data. Three (3) ml of venous blood sample were drawn by venipuncture and centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 5 min. The serum was tested for the presence of HIV antibodies using the Abbott Determine HIV 1/2 test kit and HBV antibodies using a rapid diagnostic test kit (DiaSpot Diagnostics, USA). The \chi2 test for independence was determined using GraphPad InStat software (version 3.0). Sociodemographic characteristics of the respondents showed 95.7% of the respondents as being married, 64.5% lived in a monogamous family, 62.4% petty traders, 26.8% unemployed, 57.4% of them are 21 – 30 years of age, 41.3% have Quranic education, 28.3% are 1st gravida while 36.9% have more than 4 children. Additionally, 1.4% of HIV and 8% of HBV cases were confirmed. The chi-squared test for independence (\chi2=13.078, P=0.0003) showed a significant relationship between the two variables. HIV and HBV infections existed in the study group. Regular screening, awareness, and health education programs on the mode of their transmission should be directed to pregnant women to prevent vertical transmission.

Human beings are created as the best of Allah’s creation and are gifted with mental faculties. To keep these mental faculties on the righteous path, Allah sent a series of Prophets. Prophets are used to pave the path between Allah and His people. They make the people follow the orders of Holy Books and scriptures. They not only advised the people to follow the orders of Allah but also practiced those instructions for the ease of people. The Prophets are assigned the duty to guide the people and people are also guided to respect and follow their teachings. The sacredness of Prophets is the essence of all divine religions including Islam, but the people of previous divine religions not only altered their divine books but also disrespect their Prophets. In Judaism, many things about Prophets are added in their religious literature which is not appropriate. In the Old Testament, Prophets are blamed in a certain way that their dignity and sacredness are challenged. It is described that the Prophets committed adultery murders and many more sins. Moreover, these dignitaries are proved sexually appealed like other masses that Islamic teachings are totally different from these. In this article, the comparison between Quranic teachings and the Old Testament has been discussed in this regard and outcomes have been explained in brief.

استشراقی انگریزی قرآنی تراجم کا مغرب میں ارتقاء وپذیرائی: ایک مطالعاتی جائزہ

The historical evolution of English translations of Holy Quran is a phenomenon which gradually emerged over centuries. There have been seven different complete Quran translations since sixteenth century by Non-Muslim Orientalists. A brief review of Evolution of Oriental English Translations of Quran has been presented in this research study. All of these translations are mistaken, astray, and full of errors and have been written with prejudice against Islamic teachings and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Most of these orientalist translators having (Christian) religious background tried their level best to raise doubts regarding revelation, compilation and preservation of Quran. The hostility and prejudice of these English translators declined over the years and they have gradually learned to use reasoning and logic to defy Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. There were several supporting factors behind successful evolution of these English Oriental translations including publishing companies, government institutions, religious scholars, controversial arguments, dramatic suppositions and the universities in the west. A few modern day Quran translations also appeared on the horizon of field of Oriental studies; however they continued the tradition of their ancestors regarding undermining the teachings of Quran intentionally or unintentionally with their clearly evident prejudice. Some of the reasons for evolution and successful emergence of these English Quran translations have been identified during the course of this research and are briefly discussed.

The Concept of Sustainable Children Education in Qur’an Perspective

The innate potential that is possessed by humans from birth is the main potential for humans. Humans such as Khalifatu Fi al-Ard have more intelligence potential than other creatures with the main purpose is to be educated properly and sustainably so that their potential can be developed maximumly. This research aims to describe the process of forming human potential through education starting from the prenatal period to postnatal period. The research method of this study is library research with the efforts to search literature references related to the subject that matters on the discussion problems. The study was done with critical and detailed study from literature which are related. The research results indicate that education for children must be done through well prepared plans and aspired by both parents. This process starts from searching for a life partner until children's birth according to the Qur'an guidance. Those processes that are implemented will surely shape children's strong character in education environments, both in an informal or in a formal one.

The Effect of Quranic Teaching Methods on Developing Teaching Skills among Students of Arabic Language Departments in the Faculties of Islamic Sciences

The aim of the present study is to identify the effect of Quranic teaching methods on the teaching skills of students of Arabic language departments in Islamic sciences faculties. The two researchers used the partial control experimental design for the control and experimental groups. In light of this design, the department of Arabic language at the University of Babylon was intentionally chosen as the research sample from the research community, which is represented by the faculties of Islamic sciences. The number of the research sample members reached (72) male and female students distributed between two populations (A, B), with (36) male and female students for each of the experimental group and the same for the control group. The two researchers prepared two tools for this research. They were represented by the achievement test in teaching skills consisting of (30) objective paragraphs of the type of multiple choice with three alternatives, and a note card. The experiment was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2019-2020). After applying the research tool and analyzing the results obtained by the two researchers Using the (SPSS) program, the results showed the superiority of the students of the experimental group who study according to the Quranic teaching methods over the students of the control group who study according to the usual method.

Sumbangan Dato' Salehuddin Bin Omar dalam Pendidikan al-Quran di Malaysia

The long-serving principal of Darul Quran (DQ) who has contributed to Quranic Education in Malaysia is Dato Sallehuddin Omar. His service as the principal of DQ began from 1980 to 1993. This al-Quran figure has made a significant contribution to Quranic education since his return from Egypt in 1976 until now. The study was to look at his educational background from the primary level until he successfully obtained a bachelor’s degree. It also looks into his in-depth education in the field of Quran and Qiraat as well as his major contributions in Quranic education. Hence, his involvement in the study of the Quran is studied starting from reciting, memorizing the Quran and gaining deeper understanding in the learning of Qiraat. The study was written according to the author's interview method with this figure in several meeting sessions. In addition, it also refers to the author's interviews with some of his successful students and refers to the writings of some of his students with him during the figure's visit to their place. This study has found that Dato Sallehuddin Omar is a figure who has contributed a lot to the development of al-Quran education in Malaysia. He has proposed to the PSD to upgrade the tahfiz certificate to the Tahfiz Diploma. Apart from that, he has also made a great contribution in publishing the Mushaf Rasm Uthmani in which the address of waqf is referred to the book of Manar al-Huda.
