A study on green practice infusion of the SMES in the context of circular economy

Sustainable development has attracted widespread attention worldwide, and the circular economy has become one of the essential policies of many countries. Small and medium-sized enterprises are important drivers of world economic growth and can significantly impact the environment. Therefore, SMEs are critical players in implementing a circular economy as the basis for creating a sustainable society. Although a wealth of research on SME environmental management issues can be found in the literature, more must be known about the infusion of green practices in SMEs. The primary purpose of this study is to explore the green practice infusion of Taiwanese SMEs, a context that is particularly relevant due to Taiwan’s strong focus on environmental sustainability and its circular economy industrial development policy. Through a questionnaire survey, this study examined the factors that influence green practice infusion behavior in Taiwanese SMEs and the impact of green practice infusion on circular economy performance. The findings show that the relative advantages and compatibility of the circular economy, organizational support, human resource quality, regulatory pressure, and government support significantly impact the green practice infusion of Taiwanese SMEs. The effects of complexity, customer pressure, and environmental uncertainty on SMEs’ infusion of green practices are not statistically significant. Circular economy performance is positively correlated with green practice infusion. This study can broaden the research scope of SMEs’ environmental management and contribute to a deeper understanding of SMEs’ green practice infusion and circular economy.

Implementation Of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (Umkm) Assistance Policy

Small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cirebon Regency face several challenges, such as a lack of creating new ideas, a low level of quality of human resources, many MSMEs that do not have official legality and low access to capital. This study aims to understand the implementation process of Cirebon Regent Regulation No. 44 of 2022 which regulates Micro Business Assistance in Cirebon Regency, the research was conducted using qualitative methods through a descriptive approach to describe the phenomena that occur. Policy implementation, according to an analysis based on George Edward III's theory, is influenced by four main factors: communication, available resources, attitudes or dispositions, and bureaucratic structure. These factors determine the success or failure of the policy implementation. The results showed that the implementation of the MSME mentoring policy in the Cirebon district, the implementation was considered quite successful but still less than optimal because there were several problems in it such as social media accounts that were no longer actively providing information, the quantity of mentoring policy implementers was still lacking, and there was no clear SOP in implementing the mentoring policy.

Perilaku Organizational Citizenship Behavior pada Karyawan

Every company is required to be able to improve company performance maximally and effectively, especially to improve individual performance. The low quality of human resources will certainly have a negative impact on the company, while successful companies need employees who are willing to do more than just their formal duties and are willing to provide performance that exceeds expectations. The purpose of this research is to determine organizational citizenship behavior in employees. This research was conducted on 72 permanent employee subjects. The research uses a quantitative approach with saturated sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with measurements based on organizational citizenship behavior variables. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and determines the calculated average for each aspect. The results of data processing show that the minimum value for the organizational citizenship behavior variable is 82.00 with a maximum value of 134.00 and a mean value of 108.36. The standard deviation value is 10.57809. As for aspects of organizational citizenship behavior, the average obtained was the altruism aspect of 3.15. The average courtesy aspect is 3.31. The average sportsmanship aspect is 3.18. The average conscientiousness aspect is 3.21. The Civic Virtue aspect averages 3.09.

Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pengembangan Wisata Pertanian Organik di Desa Gentungan, Kecamatan Mojogedang, Kabupaten Karanganyar

Gentungan Village organic tourism is an educational and practical tourism in organic farming and Embung Setumpeng tourism. Gentungan Village organic tourism applies the concept of community-based tourism (CBT) which emphasizes the participation of local communities. Community participation is an activity of a person or group of people to be directly or indirectly involved in providing ideas or ideas on a development program. This study aims to analyze the stages and forms of community participation in the development of organic farming tourism in Gentungan Village, Mojogedang Sub-district, Karanganyar Regency. This research uses a qualitative analysis method with a descriptive approach, using data sources obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis method uses Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis. The results showed that there are 3 stages of community participation, namely (1) the planning stage, where the community is involved in community meeting activities, community involvement in the planning stage shows their participation in the form of time and thoughts contributed voluntarily. (2) The implementation stage, where the community is involved in the implementation of tourism activities. The Gentungan Village community is actively involved in addition to the community service activities of the tourist attractions, some residents become parking attendants and many people sell at the Embung Setumpeng location. Some people are also involved in comparative study activities by becoming presenters, outbound guides, and operators. (3) The stage of enjoying the results, where the community feels economic benefits with an increase in income and social benefits with an increase in mutual cooperation and the quality of human resources from tourism activities.

The Role of Driving Teachers in Implementing the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Sakra

Education is the main pillar in determining the quality of human resources and the progress of a nation, and independent learning is a response to the needs of the education system in an effort to improve human resources in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Freedom of learning also frees educators and students to choose their learning system. The qualitative approach is the collection of data in a natural setting with the intention of interpreting the phenomena that occur, where the researcher is the key instrument, the data collection technique is carried out in a triangulation (combined) manner, the analysis is inductive/qualitative, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning and generalization. The researcher found that some of the supporting factors for driving teachers in implementing the independent curriculum that already have the status of driving schools and independent independent are the ones that are the driving schools. The supporting factors experienced by the driving teachers in implementing the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Sakra which develop competence, full support, and inhibiting factors. The impact given as a driving teacher who provides learning that is in accordance with interests, talents, and student-centered. In addition, driving teachers must prioritize caring for the character of students who are increasingly visible, and can also open their minds to students who have different characteristics.

Relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Financial Performance in the Healthcare Industry in Vietnam

This study aims to understand the relationship between corporate social responsibility and the financial performance of companies in the healthcare sector in Vietnam. The sample size of the study is 242, including data collected from 22 listed companies in the healthcare industry in Vietnam, during the period from 2012 to 2022. By using Stata software research methods and tests, research results show that corporate governance, human rights, and community have a significant impact on the financial performance of healthcare businesses in Vietnam, while employee relations and environment have no impact on financial performance. From there, this study makes several recommendations that healthcare companies should have reasonable regulations to adjust the gender balance on the board of directors and develop a code of ethics on human rights associated with CSR activities, thereby implementing training programs to improve the quality of human resources, and needing to allocate investment costs in production technologies appropriately to optimize operating performance and profits of the business.

Characteristics of Trauma Patients Who Died at UGM Academic Hospital (RSA UGM)

BACKGROUND : Trauma becomes the main health problem worldwide due to its high mortality rate. Traffic accidents are a trauma with a high incidence and death rate in Indonesia, specifically in Yogyakarta. Factors causing trauma-related death are the lack of hospital infrastructure, the lack of quality human resources, the lack of standardization of trauma management, and the limited number of hospitals providing comprehensive trauma services. This research aims to identify the characteristics of trauma patients who died while receiving medical treatment at UGM Academic Hospital and to analyze the mortality of patients according to the trimodal distribution to prepare this hospital to become a trauma center hospital.METHOD : This quantitative descriptive research used a cross-sectional method. Data were taken from medical records of patients admitted to the ER of UGM Academic Hospital in 2018-2023 based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research was conducted from March to November 2023.RESULT : This research involved 58 patients consisting of 42 (72.4%) male and 16 (27.6%) female patients. The most common cause of death was brain injury (63%), followed by spinal cord injury (13.7%), multi-organ failure and sepsis (8.6%), cardiac and respiratory arrest (6.8%), and comorbidities patients (6.8%).CONCLUSION : The majority of trauma patients who died at the UGM Academic Hospital are male and aged 60-80 years with the main cause of death of brain injury. The patient dies at the late death stage based on trimodal distribution of death time.

PENGARUH KOMPENSASI, LINGKUNGAN KERJA DAN BUDAYA KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PABRIK GULA ASSEMBAGOES DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Companies cannot be separated from having quality human resources; this will have an impact on the sustainability of the company's goals, superior, professional and competitivehuman resources which will have a positive impact on the company's success. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the influence of Compensation, Work Environment and Work Culture on the Performance of Assembagoes Sugar Factory Employees with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable. This research is explanatory research. The populations in this study were contract employees of the Assembagoes Sugar Factory. The sampling technique is determined by quota sampling. The data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS3.0 application, show that Compensation has a positive but not significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Work Culture has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a positive but not significant effect on Performance, work environment has a positive but not significant effect on performance, work culture has a positive and significant effect on performance.

Evaluating Urban Village Fund Management: An Analysis of Planning, Budgeting, Implementation, Guidance, and Supervision

The management of urban village development is currently ineffective, as evidenced by deficiencies in planning, budgeting, implementation, development, and supervision. Additionally, there is a notable shortfall in the quality and quantity of human resources, compounded by inadequate involvement of regional technical officials in providing assistance and guidance. This policy paper aims to review, identify, analyze, and formulate policy recommendations to better integrate the roles of communities and community groups in urban village development. The study employed a normative qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with Village Heads and community group leaders who are directly involved in village activities and have relevant insights. Data were collected through interviews, empirical studies, and documentary analysis. The findings indicate that implementing activities related to urban village facility and infrastructure development, as well as community empowerment, is “less effective.” Consequently, it is recommended that the Makassar City Mayor Regulation Number 28 of 2020 be revised to provide more detailed guidelines for community or community-group-based activity management.

The Urgency of Digitizing Learning for Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Boarding School Students in The Era Of Society 5.0

Digitized learning in Islamic boarding schools is an opportunity and, at the same time, the challenge of continuing to transform to make the learning process massively more efficient and comprehensive in every aspect of human life. In the current era of disruption, technological and industrial change is facing a significant revolution and is known as the Society 5.0 era. Of course, in facing the era of society 5.0, the world of education has an important contribution to make in adapting to current developments in improving the quality of human resources. This research aims to describe the urgency of digitizing learning for Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Boarding School students in the Society 5.0 era. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and a literature study. The research results show the importance of digitalization learning in the era of society 5.0 in Islamic boarding school-based Madrasah Aliyah, activists and stakeholders in education, get an overview of the application of technology learning, which is more specific to communication tools, the challenges of implementing digitalization learning, and the efforts that need to be made to maximize digitalization learning in Islamic boarding school-based Islamic schools.

Need Analysis for Development of Inquiry-Based STEM Materials to Improve Critical Thinking Skills

21st-century learning plays an important role in producing quality human resources. One of the skills that students must have to face this century is critical thinking skills. This research aims to determine students' critical thinking skills and find out to what extent the stages of inquiry learning have been implemented, as well as their integration with the STEM approach. The type of research used is survey research. The instruments used were interview guide sheets, tests of student critical thinking skills, observation sheets of learning implementation, and analysis sheets of the interviews conducted with 4 physics teachers in the four schools. The research results show that learning in schools is still conventional (teacher-centered). The integration of the inquiry process with the STEM approach in learning and the teaching materials used is still low. Students' critical thinking skills are also low. Therefore, the recommendation from this preliminary study is that there is a need to develop physics teaching materials that integrate inquiry learning with a STEM approach to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Conditions affecting the tourism development of a destination through visitors’ evaluation: The case of Sapa Town, Lao CAI Province, Vietnam

The research aims to determine the conditions that affect the tourism development of a destination through the evaluation of tourists (in the case of Sapa town, Lao Cai province, Vietnam). Using quantitative methods, the article uses SPSS software to process interview results from 400 tourists according to four groups of factors: (i) accessibility to public communication services, hotel amenities and hygiene, level of convenience and comfort of sightseeing transportation; (ii) the adequacy, capacity, and hygiene of the parking lot, the diversity and specificity of souvenirs, the attractiveness and diversity of entertainment activities, (iii) security issues, order, and safety and (iv) the quality of tourism human resources. The research results show a group of conditions, such as the adequacy, capacity, and hygiene of the parking lot, the diversity and specificity of souvenirs, and the attractiveness and diversity of entertainment activities. Location and natural landscape have the strongest impact on the development of a tourist destination. While factors in groups I, iii, and iV have a lower level of influence. From there, this study proposes policy implications for improving the service quality of the destination, such as: the issue of human resource training, the quality of infrastructure; renewing products and services, and diversifying local cultural experiences. In particular, the quality of human resources is an issue that needs improvement not only in Sapa but also for many tourist destinations in mountainous regions of Vietnam.

Factors that Influence the use of Management Accounting on SME Performance in the city of Medan

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of the use of management accounting on SME performance, and environmental uncertainty, information technology, quality of human resources and innovation as factors that influence the use of management accounting. Descriptive quantitative research method, namely the results of processing data and then representing it. The population of this research is SMEs from various business sectors spread across the city of Medan. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique as many as 33 SMEs in the city of Medan. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) equation model is used for the data analysis method. Information technology influences the use of management accounting, environmental uncertainty, human resources and innovation do not influence the use of management accounting. The use of management accounting influences the performance of SMEs.

EVALUASI EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH (MBS) DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

The Indonesian government is trying to improve the standard of education that has so far lagged behind. To realize the quality of education in better school-based management, local support is needed in directing, checking and assisting schools in administration and educational experience. Elementary school education is a level of education that is part of the basic education level and is the foundation of knowledge and helps children grow and develop optimally through teacher-guided learning, so that it becomes the main tool in improving the quality of human resources. The main task of education is to develop the potential of human resources (HR) through various organizations, both governmental and non-governmental. One way of regulating it is through School-Based Management (SBM), which functions as a tool to manage the essence of teaching. Internal and external services provided by the school are directly supervised. This is in accordance with the philosophy of decentralization, which provides benefits to the community and school members by allowing principals, students, parents, and teachers to be involved in decision-making in a transparent, accountable and participatory manner. School-Based Management aims to improve the quality of education by involving cooperation from various parties, including principals, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders, as well as paying attention to facilities and infrastructure, motivation, self-concept, interests, and learning independence. In implementing the essence of education, schools seek their arrangements by implementing school-based administration. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective school-based management or MBS is in overcoming problems in schools and improving the quality of education in elementary schools. Qualitative descriptive methods are one of those used in this study. The diversity of information is generated through significant web-based writing and journals.

PENGARUH KUALITAS SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DAN STRATEGI PEMASARAN TERHADAP KEBERLANJUTAN USAHA UMKM DI BREBES

This study aims to determine the effect of human resource quality and marketing strategies on the sustainability of MSME businesses in Cikakak Village, Brebes Regency. The method used is a quantitative research method with descriptive and verification approaches. The population of this study consisted of all MSME players in Cikakak Village, totaling 176 MSMEs. In this study, 44 samples were used, which was 25% of the total population. Data was gathered by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) with an ordinal scale to the respondents. The results showed that the quality of human resources had a positive and significant influence on business sustainability. In addition, marketing strategy also indicates a positive and considerable influence on business sustainability. These findings emphasize the importance of improving the quality of human resources and effective marketing strategies in supporting business sustainability in the area.

Efektifitas Pelaksanaan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kelurahan Gunung Sarik Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang Sumatera Barat

The Family Hope Program (PKH) has been running since 2011. PKH aims to break the chain of poverty, and improve the quality of human resources through education and health. PKH is also one of the social assistance programs relied on by the government through various new policies to ease the burden on PKH participants. The focus of the problem to be achieved in this study is how effective the Family Hope Program (PKH) is. The methodology used in this study is quantitative descriptive by collecting data using observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data sources obtained include primary and secondary data. The results of research in the field show that PKH in Mount Sarik is not effective in its implementation. This is influenced by several inhibiting factors such as data, errors in data collection and determination of recipients, low awareness of PKH participants, and unproductive use of funds.

The Impact of Persuasive Communication, Transformational Leaderships, and Work Interest on Work Ethic

The Yogyakarta City Fire Department is located on Jl. Muja Muju. Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta City, is an implementing element of the government that has the responsibility of assisting the community in handling fires and rescues. In addition to extinguishing fires, firefighters are also trained to carry out evacuations such as accidents, natural disasters, and other emergency evacuations. So the importance of competent and qualified human resources (HR) is needed to support the work ethic and activities so that the mission of the company or an organization can succeed. This study aims to prove and collect empirical evidence that Persuasive Communication, Transformational Leadership, and Work Interest affect the Work Ethic of Employees of the Fire and Rescue Service of Yogyakarta City. By conducting this study, the researcher hopes that the results of this study can be an evaluation in improving the performance and work ethic of the relevant agencies. This type of quantitative research with 67 respondents, using a purposive sampling method. Data was collected using a questionnaire and Likert scale as a measurement. The results of the study partially and simultaneously all variables, namely Persuasive Communication, Transformational Leadership, and Work Interest, have a positive and significant effect on the Work Ethic.

KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH DALAM MEMBANGUN KETENAGAKERJAAN YANG BERKELANJUTAN UNTUK MENSEJAHTERAKAN KEHIDUPAN MASYARAKAT

Indonesia is facing quite complex employment problems. This contributes to the development of human resource competencies in Indonesia to be able to compete at the national, regional, and international levels. Government policy on sustainable employment is the main focus in creating an inclusive, sustainable, and future-oriented work environment. This paper aims to analyze the strategies and policies implemented by the government to improve sustainable employment development. The workforce in Indonesia still has various problems, such as high unemployment rates, low quality of workforce, wages, social security, and so on. This analysis also discusses challenges and opportunities in dealing with labor issues, this paper also implements the concept of competitiveness. Through this concept, it is found that efforts to increase competitiveness can start from the substance of the labor sector such as skills and infrastructure. Then, increasing competitiveness also requires reform of the employment system which is regulated in such a way by the government to obtain better quality human resources in the future.

Analysis of Indonesian DIKTI and DIKTIS Higher Education Curriculum Development Policy

This research analyzes educational policies related to the development of the higher education curriculum in Indonesia, which is an important component in the educational process. The basis for curriculum development is regulated in higher education laws and government regulations. This research aims to provide insights and processes in curriculum development in Indonesia, as well as complement previous research that defines educational policies related to higher education curriculum development at the Ministry of Education and Culture, higher education curriculum development policies (DIKTI) and educational curriculum development policies for Islamic Religious Higher Education. (DICTIS) in Indonesia. The method used in this research uses the Library Research type of literature review, by collecting and analyzing books, articles and related references. The results of data analysis highlight the role of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Directorate General of Islamic Higher Education in curriculum development. The curriculum development process involves in-depth study, evaluation, consultation, and analysis of job market needs. The curriculum development policy aims to improve the quality of higher education, ensure the relevance of the curriculum to the demands of the times, and ensure equal access to education. Challenges in curriculum development include rapid changes in the world of science, limited resources, and multidimensional needs. This research provides an understanding of higher education curriculum development policies in Indonesia, as well as contributing to the improvement and refinement of existing policies to support the development of quality human resources.

Organizational Commitment and Workplace Spirituality as Moderation of Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Spiritual on Employee Performance on SDG

Objective: The most important resource of a company is human resources. Human resources are intangible and unique, making them very difficult for other companies to imitate. Therefore, improving the quality of human resources is very important. One important indicator for determining the quality of human resources is work performance. This also applies to banking. Effective human resource management is the key to improving employee performance. Therefore, companies must consider these factors before developing their human resource management program. Theoretical Framework: This research was conducted with the title "Organizational Commitment and Workplace Spirituality as Moderation of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Spirituality on Employee Performance". Method: The type of data used is quantitative, namely in the form of numbers using formal, standard and measuring tools. The population of this study was 150 company employees. Samples were taken from this population, and the sample selection for this study was determined by random sampling, resulting in a sample of 150 respondents. The data collection techniques used in this research are as follows: observation and questionnaires. After the data is collected, the data is then processed using the Smart PLS analysis tool. Results and Discussion: Based on the results of this research analysis, it has been found that organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and spirituality influence employee performance. Workplace spirituality is able to moderate organizational citizenship behavior and spirituality on employee performance. Organizational Commitment is able to moderate Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance. However, organizational commitment was not able to moderate spirituality on employee performance in this study. Originality/Value: This research has several limitations that can be overcome by other authors in future research. It is recommended that future research include more independent variables or add moderating variables that have not been researched in this research.
