A forty-eight year aid woman had complained of swelling and pain of the left clavicle region since 1977. She admitted to our hospital due to chronic osteomyelitis of the left clavicle in March 1979. On admission, ESR was increased, C-reactive protein was positive but other lavoratory examinations were normal. Hypertrophic change of the clavicle was seen roentgenographically. Surgery was done two times (April 1979, December 1979).Chronic inflammation was seen histologically and culture of granulation was positive (Achromobvcterium) at the first operation. After the second operation, inflammation was quiet. But, in November 1982, inflammation recurred. At the same time, pustulosis palmaris et plantaris appeared. Both diseases were fluctuated synchronously. Tonsillectomy was done in terms of focal infection in January 1983. After that, inflammation of the clavicle and pbstulosis palmaris et plantaris were not seen.
