Development of Animation Video Learning Media to Improve Class XI Science Students’ Understanding

This research and development (R&D) aim to produce valid, practical and effective animated video learning media. The research subjects are divided into two parts, namely the first part of the product design validation subject or expert test conducted by 2 material experts and 1 media expert and the second part of the product trial subject conducted by testing the learning media in class XI IPA 3 and 2 class XI teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Gowa as observers. This learning media has been validated, has been tested limitedly and revised. The results of this study are: (1) validation by media experts of 3.4 with very valid criteria and (2) validation by material experts of 3.79 with very valid criteria. Animated video media based on the implementation test, teacher and student responses with an average percentage score of 88%, 86.11% and 86% respectively. For animated video media, the effectiveness criteria are in the very high category, with student learning outcomes meeting the effective criteria (≥80%), where the class completion percentage is 88.8%. Animated video learning media developed using the ADDIE model is suitable (valid, practical and effective) for use in learning.

FEASIBILITY OF A COMPETENCY-BASED SKILLS ASSESSMENT BOOK FOR THE SUBJECT OF BIOLOGY IN GRADE VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

This study is intended to determine the feasibility and teacher response to competency-based skills assessment book products in Science-Biology subjects in Class VIII Junior High School. The research method used is Research and Development through 7 stages, namely; (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) product design validation, (5) product design revision, (6) product trial, and (7) product revision. The research instrument was a product feasibility assessment sheet and a response questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. Product feasibility was assessed by five experts. The data obtained from the validation sheet (feasibility) was analyzed using Aiken's formula. The product trial was conducted on six teachers. The results showed that the feasibility of the product and the response questionnaire assessed by the validators obtained results respectively were 0.97 and 0.99 with high validity and feasible to use. After the trial, the teacher's response to the competency-based skills assessment book was stated to be very good with an average value of 95.00%. It can be concluded that the book product made is feasible to use for competency-based skills assessment with a very good response.

The Development of Assessment Instrument Based on Wordwall to Measure Process Science Skills for Environmental Pollution

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an assessment instruments based on Wordwall in measuring students' science process skills of junior high school science learning in environmental pollution materials. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) that refers to the procedure of the Borg and Gall development model which has stages including research and information collecting, planning, develop the preliminary form of the product, product design validation, main product revisions, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision. The subject of the study was a grade VII student of SMPN 2 Ajung, Jember. This study used instruments in the form of validation sheets, practicality sheets, student questionnaire sheets, and science process skills tests. Data analysis techniques used in research consist of validity test analysis, practicality test analysis, and effectiveness test analysis. The results showed that out of 20 multiple-choice questions developed from aspects of material, construction, and language based on the assessment of 3 validators were declared very valid and worthy of use without revision. The twenty multiple-choice questions tested have valid question item validity. The assessment instrument has a reliability value of 0.612. The difficulty level analysis obtained 5 easy criteria questions, 14 medium criteria questions, and 1 difficult criteria question. The effectiveness of the assessment instrument obtained the average results of students' science process skills of 55%, including the sufficient category and student response questionnaires of 81%, so they were declared very good.

Development of Microsoft Powerpoint Learning Media in Science Subjects in Class V in Elementary School

PowerPoint-based learning media is the development of learning tools by creating presentation slides and integrating various media such as images, animation, and text as teaching materials. Media use in learning activities needs to be done to facilitate the learning process and achieve optimal results from the learning objectives. Therefore, as a component of education, teachers must be more creative and innovative in presenting learning, such as using learning media as teaching materials. This research uses the Borg and Gall model of research development (R&D) methods. The steps in this development research include potential problems, literature study, information gathering, product design, product design validation, and prototype. The feasibility of the product is based on the results of assessments by media experts, material experts, and class teachers as test subjects. Data collection techniques use interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the research show that the assessment from media experts received a score percentage of 92.22%, including in the very appropriate category, material experts received a score percentage of 96%, including in the very appropriate category, and validation teachers received a presentation score of 96.66%, including in the very appropriate category. It can be concluded that Powerpoint media for science learning at SDN 1 Nonapan II is suitable as teaching material.

Development of Wordwall-Based Assessment Instruments to Measure Higher Order Thinking Skills Science Material Temperature, Heat, and Expansion

The application of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in evaluation aims to improve the quality of students' thinking, especially about the process of solving a problem. This study aims to develop a wordwall-based assessment instrument to measure HOTS. This study methods used the Borg and Gall development model with 8 stages covering, looking for potential and formulating problems, information gathering, product design, product design validation, design revision, small group trials, product revisions, field trials. Respondents who took the test were divided into 2, namely 25 students for small group trials and all of class VII SMPN 2 Maesan, Bondowoso for field trials. The questionnaires used in this study were interview questionnaires, validation questionnaires and tests to find out students' HOTS. The results showed that the validity of the assessment instrument was 80.99% with a valid category along with the items, and the reliability of the assessment instrument was 0.770. The analysis of the discriminating power of the items produced 3 items in the very good category, 10 items in the good category, 4 items in the sufficient category, and 3 items in the poor category. Then the difficulty level analysis produces 5 questions in the too easy category, 12 questions in the medium category, and 3 questions in the too difficult category. Based on the results of the research, the assessment instrument developed was stated to be valid and suitable for use for subsequent learning evaluations even though there were minor revisions

Development of physical activity games in improving the physical motor ability of children aged 10-11 years at the elementary school level

The purpose of this study was to develop physical activity games to improve the physical motor ability of children aged 10-11 years at the elementary school level. Using research and development/RD methods. Data collection techniques through questionnaires/questions given to experts and students, the data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative percentages. Validated by material experts, game experts, and language experts. The percentage of product design validation by experts is 80%, based on the information in the expert validation assessment table, the average value is in the range of 80%-100% valid meaning is used. The percentage of small group trials by target or object is 73%, based on the information in the table of evaluation criteria for the implementation of trial activities, the average value is in the range of 65%-82%, with good classification means used. The percentage of product design validation by experts in small group trials is 90% based on the information in the expert validation assessment table, so the average value is in the range of 80%-100% valid information means used. The percentage of large group trials by target or object is 90%, based on the information in the table of criteria for assessing the implementation of trial activities, the average value is in the range of 83%-100% very good classification meaning used. After going through the repeated validation stages and comparing small group trials and large group trials, it can be concluded that the development of physical activity games in improving the physical motor skills of children aged 10-11 years at the elementary school level is said to be very good and valid meaning is used

Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Problem Based Learning Pembelajaran IPAS Kelas IV di SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan

This research generally aims to develop and produce problem-based learning worksheet products in the natural science subject on energy in the daily life of class IV SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) research and development method with the Borg and Gall method approach, which contains seven research steps namely potentials and problems, data collection, product design, product design validation, design revision, product testing, final product revision . At the product trial stage it was carried out in class IV SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan with a total of 32 students. The results of this study are in the form of problem-based learning worksheets for students on natural science subjects on energy in everyday life. The results of the material validity test showed a percentage of 81.54% with the interpretation of "Very Feasible" and the results of the design validity test showed a percentage of 83% with the interpretation of "Very Feasible". Student responses were divided into small and large groups, for the small group it showed a percentage of 85% with a "Very Good" interpretation then for the large group it showed a percentage of 86.10% with a "Very Good" interpretation. Based on the results of the overall assessment it can be concluded that the LKPD The developed problem-based learning is suitable for use in the science learning process on energy in everyday life in class IV SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan.

The feasibility of e-encyclopedia on plants structure and function as teaching material for junior high school students in Pontianak

This study aims to determine the feasibility and responses of students to the E-Encyclopedia on the structure and function of plants material for the 8<sup>th</sup> grade of junior high school students. This is a Research and Development (R&D) which consists of 7 stages namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, product design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The instrument used was the validation sheet of the E-Encyclopedia of Plant Structure and Function and a student response questionnaire filled out by 15 respondents. The average result of the validation analysis of Aiken's V E-Encyclopedia of Plant Structure and Function obtained 0,90 is in the valid category, while the reliability value of 0,775 is in the sufficient reliability category. The results of the questionnaire response analysis obtained an average of 77,6%, namely in the strong category. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the e-encyclopedia is appropriate to be used as teaching material on the Structure and Function of Plants for 8<sup>th</sup> grades of junior high school.

DEVELOPMENT OF ADOBE FLASH MULTIMEDIA-BASED INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA ON THE TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT IN SOCIAL SCIENCE LEARNING SUBJECTS AT GRADE IV SD

This paper discusses the develop ment of adobe flash multimedia-based interactive media i n social science learning subjects , especially on the learning material of the employment types at grade IV. The research method used by the author is Research and Development (R&D) , which consists of the stages of problem analysis, data collection, product design, product design validation, product revision , and product testing. To test the feasibility of this learning video, the validation test was applied by media and material experts. T he product was tested with the research subject , which involved 20 fourth-grade students of SDN Bama 3. Based on the validation results regarding interactive learning media based on adobe flash multimedia the validation from media experts was categorized as "very feasible" with a percentage of 86% , percentage of material experts’ validation was 94% , which w as in the "very feasible" category , and the percentage from respondents who were intended for students achieved 91.4% , which was in the “very decent” category. Thus , it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on adobe flash multimedia is "very feasible" to use in social science learning subjects on the learning material of employment types.

The Development of Animated Video Media in Mathematics Learning Map Scale Material for Grade V Elementary School Students

This study aims to develop animated video learning media that has a level of validity and attractiveness so that it can be used to increase students' interest in learning mathematics on a map scale material for class V Elementary School, determine the effectiveness of the media, and determine student responses to the use of the media. This research is a type of Research and Development (RnD) research or research and development according to Borg and Gall, which consists of: (1) research and data collection, (2) planning, (3) product design, (4) product design validation. (5) product revision, (6) product trial, (7) usage trial. The subjects of the trial in this study were the fifth grade students of SDN Cikoko 03, South Jakarta, totaling 32 students with details of 9 students being tested on a small scale, and 32 students being tested on a large scale. The results of this study indicate the level of validity of animated video learning media as learning media based on assessments by media experts, material experts, and language experts.

Development of Setaparula Monopoly Media on the Theme of The Beauty of Diversity in My Country in Social Science Learning

This study aims to determine feasibility of setaparula monopoly media development (weapons, dance, clothes, home, songs) on the beautiful themes of diversity in my country in learning ips of fourth grade primary school which developed and get value from experts, and to find out students' responses to setaparula monopoly media development (weapons, dance, clothes, home, songs) on the beautiful themes of diversity in my country in learning ips of fourth grade primary school. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Panunggangan 1 with research subjects in fourth grade with 10 students in a limited trial. The type of research used in the development research method (Research and Development) of Borg and Gall which is modified by Sugiyono consists of 6 stages, namely: the problem analysis stage, the data collection stage, the product design development stage, the product design validation stage, the product design revision (revision) stage, and the product trial stage. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet for expert validation and student responses. The results of the validation test by experts (media experts, material experts, linguists, and education experts) on the quality of the monopoly media setaparula (regional weapons, traditional dances, traditional clothes, traditional houses, regional songs) which developed are included in the appropriate criteria with a percentage of the assessment amounted to 78.21%. The results of the limited trial of students to the monopoly media setaparula (regional weapons, traditional dances, traditional clothes, traditional houses, folk songs) getting very feasible criteria with an assessment percentage of 100%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the monopoly media setaparula (regional weapons, traditional dances, traditional clothes, traditional houses, folk songs) which developed is very suitable for use in the learning process of Social Sciences (IPS).

Development of Critical Reading Teaching Materials by using Prezi Media in s-1 Students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Faculty of Teaching and Educational Sciences University of Lampung

Aim: The aim of the research is to produce critical reading teaching materials using Prezi media, describe the feasibility of critical reading teaching materials using Prezi media, and determine the effectiveness of critical reading teaching materials using Prezi media.

 Place and Duration of Study: Graduate Program of Indonesian Bahasa and Literature Education University of Lampung, August 2018 until now
 Methodology: The method used in this research is research and development (R&D). Data collection techniques adopted are tests, interviews, and questionnaires administered on the S-1 Study Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung in Lampung in the 2020/2021 academic session. Product design validation is carried out by relevant experts and practitioner assessments (critical reading lecturers), then tested on students.
 Results: The results showed that the Critical Reading Teaching Material was successfully developed by Utilizing Prezi Media, the overall feasibility was declared "very feasible" by material experts, media experts, and practitioners with the percentages of 84.2%, 86.22%, and 90.22% respectively; critical reading teaching materials using Prezi media effectively improve critical reading skills with an N-gain value of (0.31), and (0.34) including the "medium"

Pantomime Art Education Technology for Elementary Schools

This study aims to analyze the needs and develop pantomime textbooks as an alternative learning resource for children's performing arts in elementary schools. The pre-research data collection technique was taken through interviews with three companion teachers and three students in three different elementary schools in Rembang Regency. Data strengthening was carried out through interviews with the Rembang Regency Education Office and interviews with pantomime experts in. The conclusion of the overall interview results stated that the existence of pantomime textbooks was an alternative source of learning. for the performing arts of children in elementary school is very much needed. This research method uses R&D refers to Borg and Gall's theory which has been modified into 7 research steps, namely: 1) information gathering, (2) research planning, (3) initial product design development, (4) product design validation, (5) product design revision, (6) product testing, (7) product testing results revision. The result of the research is in the form of a textbook entitled "Fun Pantomime ala Kak Prop".

Developing Interactive Multimedia for Multiple Intelligence-Based Learning for B Group Children at PAUD Terpadu Al-Furqan Kaliwates, Jember

This development research was carried out at the Al Furqan Integrated PAUD, Kaliwates Jember District, Jember Regency in the 2019/2020 school year. The purpose of this study was to describe the process and results of developing interactive multimedia media in multiple intelligence-based learning for group B children. The data collection techniques used were validation, observation, and questionnaires. This research is included in the type of development research proposed by Bor and Gall, because this type of research is used to develop and validate products in the fields of education and learning. The research stages consisted of the problem identification stage, the data collection stage, the product design stage, the product design validation stage, the product design revision stage, the product trial stage, the product revision stage, and the usage trial stage. The interactive multimedia development test consists of validity tests, practicality tests, and effectiveness tests. The results of the development of interactive multimedia learning media are categorized as valid based on the assessments given by expert validators and practitioner validators. Learning is categorized as effective as seen from the activities of children who show above average values, positive teacher responses when teaching using interactive multimedia media and children are more enthusiastic in learning activities. Learning is categorized as practical as seen from the teacher's activity which shows the percentage is above average, namely 92% with good interpretation.

DEVELOPING ENVIRONMENT BASED PICTURIAL STORYBOOK MEDIA FOR GRADE IV STUDENTS OF SDN 013 KARIMUN

This study aimed to see the feasibility of the product developed in the form of an environmental-based picture storybook for grade four students. The subjects in this study were ten students at grade V. The type of research was research and development which was modified into seven steps, namely: (1) Data collection/planning (2) Product design (3) Product design validation (4) Product revision (5) Teacher response (6 ) Field trial (7) Data analysis. The instruments in this study were interviews with teachers and questionnaires given to design experts, material experts, homeroom teachers for grade IV and ten grade four students. The results of this study consisted of (1) Validation by design experts obtained a score of 4.22 in the "Very feasible" category (2) Validation by material experts obtained a score of 4.50 in the "Very feasible" category (3) Validation by homeroom teachers for grade four obtained a score of 4.94 categories “Very decent” (4) Validation by Grade V elementary school students scored 4.33 in the “Very decent” category. From the data obtained, this study concluded that the environmental-based picture storybook media product for grade four students at SDN 013 Karimun with an average score of 4.50 in the "Very feasible" category could be an alternative teaching material at schools.

DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES SHEET BASED ON METACOGNITIVE STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL V CLASS STUDENTS

This study aims to produce LKPD based on metacognitive strategies and to see the feasibility of LKPD. The type of researchused is Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, andquestionnaires. The results obtained, 1) LKPD based on metacognitive strategies. 2) The results of the LKPD feasibility testbased on metacognitive strategies to improve critical thinking skills. 83 categories of media experts are eligible, 85 materialexperts are eligible, 86 linguists are in the appropriate category. This shows that the use of LKPD based on metacognitivestrategies can improve students’ critical thinking skills. Based on the analysis of the research results and hypothesis testing, thefollowing results were obtained 1) The process of developing LKPD based on metacognitive strategies using the Borg and GallResearch and Development model through five development steps, namely: identification of potential and problems, productdesign, product design validation, product revision, user validation. 2) LKPD based on metacognitive strategies get decentresults from experts and can be used by educators and students.

DEVELOPING ANIMAKER-BASED ANIMATION VIDEOS ON THE THEME OF “DAERAH TEMPAT TINGGALKU” AT GRADE IV SDN BANJARSARI 2 SERANG

Media is something that cannot be separated from a learning process. Variations in the use of media are necessary to make students motivated to learn. This research aimed to produce a product of animaker-based animation video. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model which had been modified by Sugiyono. This model consisted of six stages: potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, product design validation, product revision, and product testing. The subjects of this study were 39 grade IV students of SDN Banjarsari 2 Serang. This product was tested to 20 students in a limited trial. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that 1) the percentage of the average score from expert validation was 84.7% which was included in "very feasible" category; 2) the percentage of the average score from students’ responses was 92.72% which was included the "very good" category.

Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis Multimedia Pada Materi Impuls Dan Momentum

This study aims to design and develop an effective learning media and become a media to assist in studying Physics in depth at SMK Mataram Semarang, especially in the Impulse and Momentum material. Physics becomes a boring subject for students, because many students think that Physics is a lesson that is difficult to understand, less interesting and feels monotonous. This has an impact on decreasing students' interest and value in studying Physics.The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method with six stages, namely Research and Information Collecting (Research and Information Gathering), Planning (planning), Develop Premliminary Form of Product (Product Design Making), Premliminary Field Testing (Product Design Validation) , Main Product Revision (Design Revision), Main Field Testing (Product Testing of Products in the Field by Prospective Users). Determination of the feasibility level of multimedia-based learning media based on design validation by experts and product trials to students using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The development of multimedia-based learning devices can develop devices that have been used so far, from conventional devices to become more interesting learning media. The application of multimedia-based learning media can help support the teaching and learning process to make it easier to explain or deliver material to students. In addition, it can help students to understand more deeply so that students' scores can be increased more than without using learning media.

Design of e-modules to stimulate HOTS on static fluid materials with the STEM approach

This study aims to develop an e-module to stimulate HOTS on static fluid material with the STEM approach. The research method uses the design of research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This article reported two stages namely analysis and design. The instrument used in the form of a questionnaire of product needs analysis and practitioners’ validation sheets using a Likert scale. Source of data for needs analysis are senior high 40 school students and 18 physics educators in Lampung. Product design validation is carried out by qualified and professional physics educators in their fields with the Masters in Physics Education category. Data were collected using Google Form and analyzed using descriptive quantitative. The results showed that an e-module to stimulate HOTS on static fluid material was very needed in the field. In conclusion, the e-module design is very suitable for stimulating HOTS and can be done at the stage of developing an interactive e-module based on STEM to stimulate HOTS of students on static fluid material.

Alternative design of android-based assessment for dynamic-statics basic on mechanical engineering education

The low understanding of mechanical engineering education students on dynamic and statics basic impact on their difficulties to learn the course of statics and dynamics and machine design. For this reason, this study aims to obtain a form of dynamic-statics basic assessment design based on android that is easily accessible anywhere and anytime by students. This research was conducted with an R&D design from the Borg & Gall model consisting of research and information collecting, planning, and developing a preliminary form of product. The result of the development was the basic content of the material which consists of two parts: units and basic mathematics. Second result was product design validation indicators to assess the appropriateness of the content and products created. Finally, the main menus display which leading to learning, quizzes, and exit of assessment system. This assessment design will help students to understand the basic statics and dynamics in stages that could be accessed and studied by students through mobile technologies.
