Abstract

This study aims to produce LKPD based on metacognitive strategies and to see the feasibility of LKPD. The type of researchused is Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, andquestionnaires. The results obtained, 1) LKPD based on metacognitive strategies. 2) The results of the LKPD feasibility testbased on metacognitive strategies to improve critical thinking skills. 83 categories of media experts are eligible, 85 materialexperts are eligible, 86 linguists are in the appropriate category. This shows that the use of LKPD based on metacognitivestrategies can improve students’ critical thinking skills. Based on the analysis of the research results and hypothesis testing, thefollowing results were obtained 1) The process of developing LKPD based on metacognitive strategies using the Borg and GallResearch and Development model through five development steps, namely: identification of potential and problems, productdesign, product design validation, product revision, user validation. 2) LKPD based on metacognitive strategies get decentresults from experts and can be used by educators and students.
