An IoT system based on open APIs and geolocation for the prevention of human health disorders

The article presents a study devoted to improving the developed Internet of Things system based on open APIs and geolocation, which is aimed at analyzing data about the state of the environment using an expert approach and data visualization for possible prevention of human health disorders. Based on the developed Internet of Things system, open APIs, geolocation using intelligent gadgets, and the Meteorological Geographic Information System, the study generates a message about the danger to human health associated with meteorological factors. Accordingly, a person is informed promptly about potential risks and threats, particularly about the presence of pollen in the air, indicating the level of its concentration in the air, and about problems with air quality. What is the “anthropo-geo-sensory-digital” prerequisite for making effective real-time decisions to prevent human health disorders?New features were added to the developed system to analyze data about potential risks and threats that could lead to human health disorders, in particular, about the presence of temperature problems, under the condition that this indicator goes beyond the normative and optimal zone; the presence of relative humidity problems, under the condition that this indicator go beyond the normative and optimal zone; the presence of wind speed problems, if the air wind speed exceeds the permissible standards. Effective decision-making based on providing timely information about potential risks and threats to human health, in addition to preventive, has significant methodological and technological potential that can be used to improve the effectiveness of health care, both in extreme conditions and in conditions of sustainable existence. The system developed and improved by us can also be considered as one of the ways of introducing innovations in health care, the IT field, the educational process in institutions of higher education and conducting further research in this field, in particular, in the direction of data processing in health care systems based on machine learning.

METHODS AND TOOLS FOR IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF ENERGY CHARACTERISTICS AND MANAGEMENT OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

A factor of the state's national security is reducing energy dependence and taking measures to increase energy efficiency, especially in the budgetary sphere, because about 90% of such buildings do not meet modern energy efficiency requirements. Creating a reliable energy consumption management system, choosing measures to reduce consumption and diversifying energy sources is a difficult task that requires consideration of building energy consumption processes as a complex problem with the use of modern tools of the energy management system, modeling, and the use of modern approaches to automation and measurements. The object of research is energy consumption processes in educational institutions. The subject of the research is energy characteristics and methods of energy consumption management in educational institutions. Research methods. analytical methods, system analysis, synthesis, modeling, systematization, method of comparative and structural analysis. One of the tasks of this study is to review the capabilities of software products that can be used by energy managers of educational institutions to monitor, analyze and forecast energy consumption, as well as to create reports. Also in the work, an analysis of the state of affairs regarding energy consumption management was carried out on the example of KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi; proposals for the development of the automated energy monitoring system were provided, in particular, the architecture of the web application was developed taking into account the support of existing databases to improve the energy monitoring process.

Survey paper on Face Recognition Based Attendance System

The integration of face recognition technology into attendance management systems has emerged as a transformative solution for monitoring and optimizing attendance processes in educational institutions and organizations. This report presents an in-depth analysis of a project dedicated to the development and implementation of a Face Recognition Attendance System (FRAS) and examines its efficiency and security in various real-world scenarios. The report begins by discussing the significance of attendance tracking systems in educational and corporate environments, highlighting the shortcomings of traditional methods and the potential benefits of face recognition technology. It explores the underlying principles of face recognition, focusing on the algorithms and techniques used to capture and process facial data. The project methodology and implementation details are outlined, covering the hardware and software components used to create the FRAS. Special emphasis is placed on the challenges encountered during the system’s development and the strategies employed to overcome them. A comprehensive evaluation of the system’s performance and efficiency is presented, including accuracy, speed, and scalability, with comparisons to traditional attendance systems. Improving vocational guidance through an expert system: Temporary decreasing and enhancing student self-awareness

Background The vocational guidance process in educational institutions faces important challenges in managing trials and errors in diagnoses. Technological tools are identified as an effective solution to address these problems. This research seeks to improve career guidance in educational institutions through the implementation of an expert system. The main objective is to reduce test processing time and achieve greater efficiency in students’ self-knowledge regarding their interests, based on the personalities of the Holland Test. Methods The development of the expert system followed a six-model approach. First, an organisational model was created to assess the scope and feasibility of the project. Next, a task and agent model was developed to investigate the impact and look for improvements. A knowledge model was then developed to analyse the relevant knowledge bases. A communication model was also developed to evaluate the communication interface of the system. Next, a design model was created to provide guidelines for the implementation of the system. Finally, the implementation of the knowledge system was carried out to ensure its correct functioning. Results The implementation of the expert system has shown significant improvements in the vocational guidance process. It was possible to reduce the time needed to apply the test, thus optimising the psychologist’s time and allowing a greater capacity for analysis. In addition, an improvement in the effectiveness of the students’ self-knowledge in relation to their vocational interests based on the personalities of the Holland Test was observed. Conclusions This study contributes to career guidance in educational institutions by introducing an innovative expert system. This technological solution optimizes the career guidance process, benefiting psychologists administering tests and students seeking self-knowledge about their career interests.

Comprehensive functional testing based on physical load with changing power in a closed cycle for students

A large number of studies are devoted to the study of the functional capabilities of pupils and students. The majority of scientists and practitioners evaluate the level of functional capabilities with the help of various test tasks on physical fitness, also use various functional tests and functional testing with the help of dosed physical loads, in isolated cases with the help of maximum loads. In the light of the published data, there is a noticeable controversy of opinions in determining the level of functional capabilities due to certain inaccuracies in obtaining results and inaccuracies in the approaches to finding relevant indicators, which do not take into account the age-related changes occurring in the body of pupils and students. In our opinion, the most accurate, operative and informative is functional testing, in which the power of the physical load changes in a closed cycle. This technique allows to detect not only the indicators of physical performance and the reaction of the cardiovascular system, but also allows to establish the regulatory and energy components of the systemic reaction of the human body. The implementation of such monitoring technology and information program, which provides an automated assessment of the functional capabilities of the human body, and is accurate, informative and physiologically justified, is relevant in our time. In order to optimize the educational and educational process of physical education and obtain more complete information about the level of functional capabilities of students of higher educational institutions, it is advisable to use complex monitoring taking into account the appropriate functional testing and separate tests of physical fitness, which will help specialists in the field of physical education to obtain a more accurate and versatile information about students' functional capabilities, assess their state of health, implement individual and differential approaches in the educational process of physical education based on the received data, make corrections to the educational process in educational institutions.

Humanistic orientation of sports coach training

One of the main problems of reforming the process of training sports coaches, who will be the key to the restoration of the state and the final democratic changes of our society, is the formation of certain democratic values and corresponding personal qualities in them. Therefore, it is relevant to consider the issue of approaches to the formation of personal qualities in future coaches during the educational process in higher education institutions.
 The purpose of the study: to determine pedagogical approaches to the formation of personal qualities in future trainers during the educational process in institutions of higher education.
 Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical literature, observation.
 The article presents the results of the research, which was conducted on the basis of the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute". 30 students of the 4th year took part in it. Analysis of the literature and observation of the preparation of the specialty 017 "Physical culture and sport" made it possible to identify the need to find humanistically oriented developments to improve the educational process of training sports coaches, who, according to modern requirements, should be creative, free, purposeful individuals. It has been proven that ensuring the humanistic orientation of coaching activity requires a certain level of development of personal qualities from the future coach, among which the main ones are humanity, mercy, benevolence, kindness, cordiality, sensitivity, faith, respect and love for the child, freedom-loving, humanism, empathy, responsibility, tolerance, honesty, dignity, justice, principles, cheerfulness. It has been established that the following teaching methods are effective for the formation of humanistic qualities: the method of creative dialogue, professional trainings, social role-playing and business games, "brainstorming", analysis of practical situations, the method of the open tribune. All these methods are active and allow forming the personal qualities of students with an emphasis on humanistic orientation.

Formation of pedagogical skill of future teachers of physical culture by means of mobile games

The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of pedagogical skill among students of higher education institutions. The analysis of the sources proved that the formation of a highly moral personality of the future professional plays an important role in the preparation of a specialist with a higher education. It is natural that the development of a truly civilized society is impossible without the education of patriotic, civic, moral-ethical, cultural-ethical and general human qualities in people. It was found that the purpose of professional training of the future pedagogical community in the context of the requirements is the formation of a high general culture, personal qualities, readiness for independent, creative, personally-oriented pedagogical activity as a humane and culture-forming activity. It has been proven that the future teacher must be able to creatively organize the educational process, carry out scientific research of the pedagogical process, be fluent in the methodology of pedagogy, master new technologies and information systems, and generalize advanced pedagogical and methodical experience. It is substantiated that the quality of education of future specialists remains an important issue and the most important stage in the formation of the future teacher's personality is the first stages of training, when the foundation and base of the specialty is laid, the essence of professional activity is realized.
 It was determined that the educational process in institutions of higher education is characterized by flexibility, adaptability, modularity, economic efficiency, orientation to future professional duties and reliance on modern communication and information technologies. The analysis of the educational program for the training of future physical culture teachers made it possible to find out that a certain distribution of credits for mastering educational components is proposed for the formation of pedagogical skills of students. In order to form the signs of pedagogical mastery, we proposed innovative approaches to mastering mobile games and entertainment. Thus, mobile games in the system of training physical culture teachers contribute to the formation of professional competences in students, which will contribute to strengthening the health of schoolchildren, develop vital motor skills in them, and develop skills in the organization and methods of conducting game material. So, it has been proven that pedagogical mastery is a manifestation of a high result of professional activity, the ability to embody and realize one's own creative potential, combined with effective methods of building the pedagogical process at a high level.

Development of Faculty Qualification Analysis System using Naive Bayes Algorithm

Qualification prediction is a crucial process in determining whether an applicant is qualified for a particular position. However, traditional methods of evaluation often rely on the experience and intuition of the evaluator, which may not always be accurate. This study proposed the use of a supervised machine learning approach, specifically the Naïve Bayes algorithm, to predict faculty qualification based on a labeled dataset. The developed Faculty Qualification Analysis System for Perpetual Help College of Manila would allow users to input appropriate test data and generate results of qualified or not qualified. The system’s effectiveness and acceptance had 4.3 and 4.4 ratings with verbal interpretation of very high and strongly acceptable. The results of this study demonstrated the potential of machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of qualification prediction processes in educational institutions.

OMR Sheet Evaluation using Image Processing

Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology has revolutionized the grading and assessment processes in educational institutions, surveys, and various other fields. OMR sheets, designed with predefined bubbles or checkboxes, are scanned and processed to extract relevant data. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the methodologies and advancements in OMR sheet evaluation using image processing techniques. The integration of Ukraine into the European educational space involves strengthening the requirements for the quality of professional training of future specialists. The main task is to create all the conditions for learning, personal and professional development of students, to ensure the effective formation of their professional competence, regardless of the modern challenges and dangers faced by society in the 21st century. Currently, higher education institutions have a dilemma: are they able to move away from the traditional academic style of teaching to innovations, to focus not on knowledge and skills, but to ensure the process of forming the competence of the future specialist. Considering the circumstances, digital technologies are becoming more and more widespread, and in scientific publications there is a debate about the effectiveness of their use in the educational process of higher education. The integration of digital technologies in higher education creates new opportunities for both students and teachers, making learning more interesting, dynamic, visual, etc. The advantages and features of the use of remote technologies to improve the quality of professional training of future specialists in the conditions of a mixed form of organization of the educational process in institutions of higher education, which creates new conditions of learning and cooperation for all participants of the educational process, are considered. The most promising technologies of distance learning are characterized, which have important advantages, taking into account the peculiarities of the professional training of future specialists in the conditions of mixed learning in institutions of higher education. Such technologies include: gamification of the process of professional training of future specialists, quest technologies, cloud-based learning technologies, intelligent information systems in education, mobile learning technologies, immersive technologies. Currently, in the conditions of modern existence and development of society, innovative technologies are offered to higher education seekers, which gradually replace traditional methods of learning and ensure flexibility and quality of the educational process. We see the prospects for further research in the improvement of the educational process by determining the optimal ratio of classroom and remote components in the conditions of a mixed form of education in the process of developing the professional competence of future specialists and developing appropriate educational and methodological support.

The content and structure of the educational discipline "Military-patriotic education" for the preparation of applicants for the specialty 017 "Physical culture and sports"

The full-scale war in Ukraine determined the educational strategy of the state regarding the organization and implementation of military-patriotic education and military-patriotic training of youth. The article presents the content and elements of the structure of the educational discipline "Military-patriotic education" for the preparation of applicants for the "Physical culture and sports" specialty. Research methods used: analysis of educational and methodological literature; study of scientific publications on the subject of research; systematization and generalization of information; study of regulatory documentation regarding the organization of the educational process in institutions of higher education.
 The training course contains three credits, 2 content modules: the basics of military and patriotic education; physical and military training. The goal of the educational discipline is to form the affirmation of national identity, patriotic consciousness, a sense of loyalty and love for Ukraine, readiness to fulfill the civic and constitutional duty to protect national interests, territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine based on real heroic examples of Ukrainians.
 The educational course includes the following topics: structure and content of military-patriotic education; history of the Ukrainian army and military service; state symbols of Ukraine; military and patriotic games; general physical training; fire training; topographic preparation; tactical training; tactical medicine.
 During the study, relevant competences are formed. The system of values, which Ukraine demonstrates by its own example and the highest price of Ukrainian Heroes, is assimilated; the formation of patriotic values, education of respect and dignity, features of the Ukrainian mentality; acquisition of skills and abilities in military applied training.

IMPLEMENTING OF BOXING ELEMENTS IN THE PROCESS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN EUROPE AND UKRAINE

Introduction. The lack of physical activity among the youth of Ukraine is increasing every year. In recent years, there has been an increasing trend of lack of interest among students in physical education classes. This is due to the fact that the content of physical education lessons at school is not interesting and of little use, it has hardly changed since the independence of Ukraine, and there are also no sports for students to choose from. One of the ways to modernize the content of the physical education process is the inclusion in the program of the subject "Physical culture" of exercises borrowed from such a sport as boxing [7, 8, 9]. The aim of the study is to analyze and summarize the application of boxing elements in the process of physical education in educational institutions in European countries. Material and methods: analysis and synthesis of data from scientific-methodical literature sources and informative data from the Internet to clarify the key features of using boxing elements in general secondary education institutions in Europe. Results. In many European countries, boxing as a school sport is becoming more and more popular, it is often recognized as a valuable tool not only for the physical development of students, but also for improving discipline and self-confidence [7, 9]. The combination of physical activity and thinking makes boxing an exciting sport that goes far beyond the simple study of punching techniques. In this article, we will consider the prospects of using boxing tools in the process of physical education and emphasize the numerous advantages. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of the experience of implementing boxing into the physical education process in educational institutions in Switzerland, Germany, and Ukraine, it can be concluded that integrating boxing into the physical education curriculum in educational institutions can make a significant contribution to enhancing the physical education process in Ukraine.

Development of a Workflow Management System for Higher Education: A case study of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Fountain University, Osogbo.


 Abstract— The growing complexity of academic and administrative processes in educational institutions necessitates an efficient and streamlined approach to managing workflows effectively. The research work presents the development of a cutting-edge Workflow Management System (WMS) designed to cater to the needs of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences. The WMS is built using Flutter, a popular cross-platform framework, and Firebase, a scalable and cloud-based backend service. These challenges underscore the importance of a tailored WMS that can centralize communication, automate tasks, and enhance productivity. This research project encompasses a systematic approach, beginning with requirements gathering through observation and prototyping, followed by the design and development phases. Agile development principles were employed to ensure flexibility and adaptability throughout the project life-cycle. The outcomes of the research work, including any improvements made based on user feedback. This research has significantly improved communication efficiency, task allocation, and time management. Users reported increased collaboration, reduced delays, and better organization of academic and administrative activities and the potential to improve the efficiency and accuracy of collaboration management within the department and enhance the user experience for both the collaboration department and the college community. The developed workflow Management System proved valuable for the department, addressing their needs and streamlining their workflows. The successful integration of Flutter and Firebase showcased the potential of modern technologies to revolutionize traditional processes in educational institutions.

THE KEY COMPETENCES OF ECONOMICS COLLEGE TEACHER AS THE BASIS FOR THEIR RESILIENCE DEVELOPMENT

The possibilities of the author’s professional development courses “Technologies of Effective Pedagogical Communication, Psychodiagnostics and Provision of Psychological Support to Participants of the Educational Process in Institutions of Professional Pre-Higher Education” for the development of the resilience of economic college teachers in war conditions based on their key competencies, in particular personal, social and educational competence, are considered. The experience of the Poltava Academy of Continuing Education named after M. V. Ostrogradskyi to fulfill the requirement of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine to ensure that teachers pass advanced training courses to improve their knowledge, skills, and practical skills to provide psychological support to participants in the educational process in wartime conditions is shown.
 The article outlines the essence of the following terms: “key competencies” (necessary for the growth of a person’s personal potential and development, expansion of his opportunities for employment, social integration, active citizenship), “personal, social and educational competence” (the ability to be aware of one’s own internal states, effectively manage time and information, work constructively with other people, remain stable and manage one's own education and career), “resilience” (a dynamic, complex, multidimensional set of characteristics personality, its ability to resist and adapt to adverse and traumatic events), “resilience” (the ability of an individual to withstand the difficulties of life, quickly recover, successfully adapt in adverse circumstances, a dynamic personality property that can and should be developed, although it is innate).
 Resilience is considered as a) a concept; b) a process; c) a result; and also as a) personality quality (ability to overcome stress); b) a coping process (psychological strategy and method of overcoming a stressful situation); c) adaptive protective mechanism of the individual (allows to adapt after mental trauma or resist stress). The components of the resilience of economic college teachers are determined – adaptability, stability, hope, optimism. The expediency of following the self-help rules and advice for the development of the teacher’s resilience in the conditions of war, which are used in professional development courses, is substantiated.
 The methodological principles of conducting professional development courses for the development of economic college teachers’ resilience in the conditions of war based on their key competencies (in particular, personal, social, and educational competence) are singled out. They are the following: a) continuity; b) science; c) visibility; d) objectivity; e) developmental training; f) democratization; g) self-development of the individual; h) psychological support.

Towards inventory control excellence: An innovative approach based on a web-based platform.

Inventory management in educational institutions presents unique challenges due to the diverse sources of information and the need for improved team collaboration. This research aims to enhance inventory processes in educational institutions by leveraging information technology to optimize efficiency and ensure data integrity and reliability. The study employed a five-phase methodology to develop a web-based inventory optimization system. The initial phase involved a comprehensive analysis of inventory requirements, considering multiple data sources and team needs. Subsequently, in the planning phase, requirements were prioritized, and tasks with corresponding deadlines were established.The implementation phase adhered to the requirements outlined in the planning phase, utilizing appropriate information technologies to ensure efficient and reliable operation. A thorough system review was conducted to assess the achievement of each requirement's objectives, with necessary adjustments made as needed. Finally, following the completion of the previous phases, the developed software was deployed, and additional testing was conducted to ensure proper functionality. Following the implementation of the web-based system, significant improvements were observed: an 85.51% increase in efficiency for goods searches, streamlining the process and reducing location times; a 90.31% enhancement in goods registration, ensuring greater accuracy and data reliability; an 83.11% improvement in annual goods report generation, simplifying reporting and offering a clearer view of the inventory. Overall, the inventory process experienced an 86.31% improvement, leading to enhanced efficiency and collaboration among administrative and teaching staff. The utilization of information technology reduced inventory processing times and ensured the uniqueness and reliability of information. This research focuses specifically on optimizing inventory management in educational institutions through information technology. The study's uniqueness lies in its tailored web-based system designed to address the specific needs of educational institutions. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach and its positive impact on inventory management.

This paper considers the issue of professional training future specialists in Fine arts, in particular, forming their artistic skills in image creation using soft materials in a process of portraying nude art model in drawing and painting. The article covers both the educational process in institutions of higher education and individual creative activity. The article highlights the main achievements of the scientific research in Ukrainian National Mykhailo Dragomanov University in the discipline "Creative Drawing". It also reveals the specifics of the process of human body construction, which is the basis of the Fine art literacy and formation of artistic skills of a future specialist in visual Art pedagogy. It was determined that the students learn quickly to work with soft materials and do the educational scope of tasks in painting and drawing. They also get the practical technical skills which contribute the holistic vision of a model and their reflection in the sense of proportion, details and personality assessment. Students form aesthetic taste, figurative and colour vision, perception and understanding of time and space in environment. It allows them to grow professionally, show curiosity and implement their creative ideas. It was established that using soft art materials is the basis for the formation of art skills in reproduction of a nude figure in painting and drawing in professional education of the future qualified specialists.

Implementation of Ukraine's State Policy in Innovative Practices of Educational Institutions in the Context of Digital Transformation

In the article, the directions and strategic tasks of the state policy in the implementation of innovative practices of educational institutions, the direction of the ways of modernization of modern education in view of the integration of Ukraine into the European educational space are important; the views of scientists regarding the reform of the educational sphere were analyzed, especially the issues of digital transformation in education; new directions of program actions of the state, an effective management system for the innovative development of education in Ukraine in modern conditions, taking into account the European experience.
 The requirements for scientific and theoretical substantiation and the development of a practical model for the modernization of comprehensive general secondary education and the improvement of the mechanism of regulation of modern innovative state practices, digitalization of new, new processes in educational institutions, and the regulatory tools of the state influence on this process have been determined.
 Outlined specific tasks for the development of the educational process in educational institutions in the context of education reform in Ukraine, ensuring the functioning of the education system in the face of societal changes to implement state educational policies, innovative practices, scientific research, and methodological work.
 Digitization based on the progressive development of network access technologies; semiconductor technologies; software and its cross-use, becomes an important condition in the field of education, and service models of interaction with users become the leading methods of communication.
 Innovative educational projects are described, which highlight the general characteristics of innovations in education, the problems of their accounting and support; based on the analysis of the current state of implementation and dissemination of innovations in educational institutions within the limits of new means and directions of work, which cover all educational and methodological, educational activities of the school and lead to positive changes; modern approaches to the introduction of innovations into the system of general secondary education in Ukraine are formulated.

Streamlining Grading Processes: A Study on the Efficacy of Microsoft Excelas a Tool for Minimizing Teacher Workload and Shortening Test Paper Checking Time

This research study investigates the effectiveness of Microsoft Excel as a tool for streamlining grading processes in educational institutions. The study examines whether MS Excel can minimize teacher workload or shorten the time required from checking periodical exam, recording of exam’s results, accomplishing item analysis, and generating SMEA (School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment) data particularly the MPS (Mean Percentage Score) results. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative feedback from participating teachers. The study begins by exploring the current grading practices and challenges faced by teachers in traditional paper-based grading systems. These challenges include time-consuming manual calculations, repetitive data entry, and the potential for errors during the grading process. The hypothesis is that utilizing Excel's features, such as formulas, functions, and automated formatting, can significantly improve the grading workflow. The two-sided p-value is reported as <.001 with 95% confidence interval. Therefore, there is strong evidence to reject the null hypothesis and conclude that there is a significant difference between the Traditional_Process and ExcelBased_Process. The results of this study suggest that implementing Microsoft Excel as a grading tool has the potential to streamline grading processes, minimize teacher workload, and shorten test paper checking time, recording scores, accomplishing item analysis, and generating SMEA-MPS results. The findings can inform educational institutions and educators about the benefits of leveraging technology to enhance grading efficiency. Further research can explore additional features of Excel or other software tools that could further optimize grading procedures.
