Teacher personnel administration is an important aspect in the effective management of educational staff in the school environment. This article aims to explore what teacher personnel administration is, the challenges in the current era and its solutions through a literature study approach. Personnel administration covers various aspects, such as recruitment, selection, development, performance assessment, promotion, and teacher welfare. Based on the literature review, the role of good teacher personnel administration is crucial to improving the quality of education. Proper management of teacher personnel can improve their motivation, performance, and welfare, thus having a positive impact on the teaching and learning process. This study also highlights the challenges in teacher personnel administration at various levels of education, especially related to government policies and school management. In conclusion, the implementation of effective teacher personnel administration plays an important role in creating a quality and sustainable education system.

An Innovative STEAM-Based Method for Teaching Cycloidal Curves in Engineering Higher Education

Robotics offers innovative possibilities at all levels of education, which should be considered when planning the teaching process for certain engineering mathematics topics in higher education. This paper introduces a new teaching–learning technique that utilizes STEAM-based methods to explore cycloidal curves for Computer Science Engineering BSc students. Traditional frontal teaching has been enhanced with methods addressing the generational needs of students, including problem-based learning, STEAM integration, and project-based learning. We developed a methodological model that merges traditional teaching advantages with practical modern approaches suitable for Generation Z. The four-stage model for learning cycloidal curves employs various didactical approaches, utilizing different learning techniques at each stage to create an engaging and effective learning experience. A vital component of this model is the use of Desmos dynamic geometry software to create animations alongside educational robotics to aid visualization. We conducted quantitative studies with 98 first-year Computer Science Engineering students using a quasi-experimental research design to evaluate the new teaching technique’s effectiveness. Results from the Mann–Whitney U test indicated that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group. Additionally, the Kruskal–Wallis test confirmed that the four-stage model for learning cycloidal curves enhances learning achievement for all students, regardless of their prior knowledge.

The Use of QR Code-Based Arabic Ewan Textbooks in Learning Mahārah Kalām

Al Maahira IIBS Malang, recently this institution launched the implementation of a very interesting textbook adopted from Ewan University, namely the book "Ewan Arabic" in which there are Arabic language materials juxtaposed with QR Codes. This will help teachers in developing their teaching innovations, even making the teaching process more exciting creative to support the student learning process to run smoothly and foster the spirit of student learning motivation. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method supported by quantitative data analysis. The use of QR-Code-based ewan textbooks supports students in learning maharah kalam can motivate them. The learning atmosphere has changed to be more lively students are also more active and enthusiastic.</p>

Pengaruh Media Video terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas V dalam Pendidikan Agama Katolik di SD Negeri 076689 Fulolo Alasa

This study aims to see the effect of video media on the students’ learning interests for the fifth grade students in the learning process of Catholic religious education. Video media is one of the teacher's aids, which can be used as a bridge from the teachers and students in teaching and learning process The video is displaying the learning materials about Catholic religious education. This is quantitative research with experiment design. The population in this study were students of the fifth-grade in SD Negeri 076689 Fulolo Alasa elementary school. The samples are the class of V as a control as an experiment class. The researcher does a raffle from five classes to get the sample. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, questionnaire and student learning outcomes in class V.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pak Melalui PBL Berbantuan PPT di SDN 091450 Bah Tongguran

Education plays an important role in preparing qualified and competent workforce, and becomes a benchmark for a country's development. The quality of the teaching and learning process in schools is greatly influenced by students' learning motivation and teacher creativity. However, Catholic Religious Education learning at SDN 091450 Bah Tongguran often faces challenges, such as monotonous teaching methods, which cause a lack of student interest. This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the Project Based Learning Model (PBL). This research method involves grade III students with a focus on increasing learning activities and self-understanding as developing individuals. The results of the study indicate that the application of the technology-assisted PBL model can improve motivation and learning outcomes, as reflected in the increase in average scores from cycle I to cycle II, as well as improvements in student character indicators. These findings confirm that the PBL method has the potential to improve the effectiveness of Catholic Religious Education learning, and it is recommended for teachers to use this method to create a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VII pada Materi Kemampuan dan Keterbatasanku Melalui PBL di SMP Negeri 02 Ketungau Hilir Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025

The provision of high-quality education is significantly influenced by key factors, specifically educators and students. Competent educators are likely to cultivate quality individuals, adhering to the philosophy that "people can only share and give to others what they possess." In the teaching and learning process, one of the key elements that facilitates successful learning is the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, which significantly enhances student independence, interest, and motivation in their educational pursuits. According to observations conducted by researchers at SMP Negeri 02 Ketungau Hilir, particularly in class VII, it has been determined that in Catholic Religious Education, teachers predominantly employ teacher-centered learning methods and have yet to implement the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This approach has adversely impacted student learning outcomes, resulting in the failure to meet minimum completion criteria. Based on the findings from data analysis and discussions in this study, it can be concluded that the results regarding the enhancement of learning outcomes indicate a sustained improvement in Cycle II, where student performance rose by 82% from Cycle I to 100%. The average student score increased from 79.06 in Cycle I to 84.37 in Cycle II.

Penerapan Manajemen Balance Scorecard (BSC): Studi Kasus di MIS Miftahul Ulum Kec. Serpong Utara Kota Tangerang Selatan

The implementation of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) management at MIS Miftahul Ulum, Serpong Utara District, South Tangerang City is still facing some obstacles. The lack of understanding and accurate data, structured systems, resources, and accountability culture are the main barriers. This has resulted in the suboptimal achievement of strategic goals, such as learning, internal process, customer, and financial indicators that are not yet maximized. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the implementation of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) management at MIS Miftahul Ulum, reviewed from four perspectives, namely: financial, customer, internal process, and learning and growth. This research is qualitative, with data collection methods including interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity is ensured through triangulation, and data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research shows that the quality of education at MIS Miftahul Ulum, Serpong Utara District, South Tangerang City has improved compared to previously. However, some adjustments need to be made in the implementation of Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Conclusion: MIS Miftahul Ulum focuses on diversifying funding sources, increasing the efficiency of fund management, and increasing income from voluntary donations. Customer satisfaction and making MIS Miftahul Ulum the main school of choice for students and parents. Progress in its internal processes by implementing a quality curriculum, an effective teaching and learning process, and timely completion of teaching and learning tasks, and a quality curriculum provides a strong foundation for students to learn and grow. Effectiveness of the teaching and learning process: An effective teaching and learning process allows students to reach their full learning potential. Timely completion of teaching and learning tasks: Timely completion of teaching and learning tasks ensures that students have enough time to learn and understand the subject matter.

The Impact of WhatsApp Groups on Improving Jordanian University Students’ Vocabulary Learning

The current study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of using WhatsApp groups to improve university students’ vocabulary learning. The study adopted a quasi-experimental research design. It consisted of 60 male and female EFL students from Ajloun College University at Al-Balqa Applied University. The participants were assigned evenly into a control group, which was taught via conventional teaching methods, and an experimental group, which was taught via a researcher-administrated WhatsApp group. The teaching material included the first three units of the curriculum specified for the English Language 1 course at Ajloun University College. The study used vocabulary pre- and post-tests. The findings of the study revealed that the experimental group members performed better than the control group in the vocabulary post-test results. The findings demonstrated the effectiveness of using the WhatsApp group method to improve vocabulary learning among undergraduate EFL students at Ajloun University College. The study concluded that using group instant messaging mobile applications significantly improves the vocabulary teaching and learning process.

Remodeling Classroom Management Through Technology Driven Curriculum In Nigeria: A Sociological Analysis

Remodeling the classroom management through technology driven curriculum will assist teachers to the global requirement to replace traditional teaching methods with a technology-based teaching and learning tools and facilities. In Nigeria, Remodeling the classroom management through technology driven curriculum is considered as one of the main elements in transforming the country to the future development. The conceptual clarification utilizes the remodeling of the classroom management, technology, and education as the tools affecting remodeling classroom management through technology driven curriculum in Nigeria. The theoretical perspectives that is used for the paper is Humanist choice theory by William Glasser in the year 1998. The concept of remodeling classroom management and relevance of technology driven curriculum in Nigeria is the basic or fundamental impact to the success of this paper. The Ministry of Education, through the latest Education Blue print (2013-2025), insights the importance of technology-based teaching and learning into the schools’ national curriculum. This study of the paper aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions on effectiveness of upgrading the classroom management through technology driven curriculum to support teaching and learning process in classroom. The results indicate that remodeling the classroom through technology driven curriculum has a great effectiveness for both teachers and the students. Findings indicate that teachers’ well-equipped preparation with technology driven curriculum tools and facilities is one the main factors in success of technology-based in remodeling the classroom management for sound teaching and learning. It was also found that professional development training programs for teachers also played a key role in enhancing students’ quality learning. For the future studies, there is a need for consideration of other aspects of remodeling classroom especially from management point of view in regard to strategic planning and policy making through technology driven curriculum.

Motivation Elements in Game-Based Learning (GBL) for Tajweed Learning

Tajweed is a Quranic knowledge, and it is essential to provide a Quranic generation that is fluently and accurately reading the Quran. Unfortunately, previous studies depicted many students unable to read the Quran and indicated low achievement in Quranic subjects. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to create an interactive environment that can support the teaching and learning process, such as Game-Based Learning (GBL). GBL is a teaching aid that can be customized for teaching and learning and encourages students to be actively involved. Meanwhile, various factors are still being investigated in game design to ensure the success of GBL implementation, including motivational elements as an aspect of game design. Therefore, this study aims to identify the effect of GBL design on students' motivation in learning Tajweed. The game (i-Tajweed) deployed a Game Development Framework (GDF) and was tested using a quasi-experimental method on 120 students at primary schools by a purposive sampling method. The study used a set of questionnaires and a set of Tajweed Tests as the instruments for collecting data. The findings of the analysis revealed that the level of significance (0.000 < 0.05) value of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.310. The result suggests that there is a significant correlation between student's achievement and motivation. Hence, the result proves that using GBL with motivational elements in the design can increase student motivation positively.

The Influence Of Facilities And Infrastructure Management On The Effectiveness Of The Teaching And Learning Process At Superior High School Aceh Besar

Facilities and infrastructure are resources that are really needed in the school environment to support the smooth teaching and learning process. The role of the school principal is very important in managing facilities and infrastructure, including assistance from educational staff, facilities and infrastructure and cooperation with the school community in maintaining school facilities and infrastructure so that they remain strong and last a long time. Management of facilities and infrastructure greatly influences the teaching and learning process so that there are no obstacles such as damage and loss of facilities/equipment that have been provided. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of facilities and infrastructure management on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process at SMAN Unggul Aceh Besar. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative and quantitative approach using the T and N-Gain tests. Based on research findings, there areThe significant influence of facilities and infrastructure management on the teaching and learning process as seen based on the T test shows very high significance (0.000) and the N-Gain test shows that the N-Gain value is 0.71 or around 71%. Therefore, management of infrastructure in the teaching and learning process is effective.

INNOVATION IN LEARNING: DESIGNING KELADI APPLICATIONS USING C#

Technological developments such as the development of digital-based learning media have a major impact on the world of education. This study aims to design and develop the KelaDi (Digital Class) application using Visual Studio and the C# programming language as an interactive learning media for students. The KelaDi application has various features that support the teaching and learning process, such as e-books and e-book readers, learning videos, uploading assignments, and quizzes. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative methodology using the Waterfall model software development approach. The development process includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, coding and testing program. Supporting software includes Visual Studio 2019 and SQL Server Management Studio 20 software. This program is built using NET 4.7.2 framework technology with the C# programming language. The author hopes that the birth of this program can help support digital-based learning

Attitudes of lecturers towards e-learning: BA ISAGO university

In Botswana e-learning is still in its infancy with most universities currently implementing different strategies to integrate e-learning into the teaching and learning process. A cross-sectional study was conducted to investigate whether the variables age, gender, training to use e-learning tools, e-learning experience, internet access, and computer skills were associated with the lecturer’s attitudes towards e-learning. The study consisted of thirty-eight randomly selected lecturers at BA ISAGO University, Gaborone campus. The data was collected using a closed-ended questionnaire with items that seek to ascertain their attitudes towards e-learning. To test out the study hypothesis descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations and independent samples t-test were computed. The results indicated that half of the participants had positive attitudes towards e-learning. Proving that e-learning was an acceptable teaching method to be utilised at this tertiary education institution. The study further showed that age and gender were not significantly associated with the lecturers’ attitudes towards e-learning. Also, the results indicated that there was no significant relationship between attitudes towards e-learning and training to use e-learning tools, e-learning experience, internet access as well as computer skills. It was therefore concluded that these variables had no impact on attitudes of lecturers towards e-learning as lecturers had become competent and confident in using computers as part of teaching methodology at BA ISAGO University. It is crucial for this university to strengthen the digital culture through training and support, and motivational strategies to build positive attitude towards e-learning.

Analysis of virtual simulation training teaching problems of intellectual property law based on real working situations

This article aims to take AI intelligent training software and real business drills of intellectual property as the training mode to carry out intellectual property-related training in fields such as data intellectual property creation, application, management, transformation, and education, and truly achieve the educational goal of integrating science, education and industry. First, innovate the intellectual property training platform. Through AI question-and-answer led by digital human images, introduce front-line practical experts in the field of intellectual property into the virtual simulation training teaching process, build a training scene for the entire chain protection of intellectual property and real working situations, and improve the practical effect of training and cultivating intellectual property talents. Second, deepen the social service system of intellectual property. Project team members guide students and trainees to actively participate in patent navigation, patent group projects, pilot projects, intellectual property protection projects, etc., exercise and promote the continuous improvement of the social service capabilities of various intellectual property talents. At the end of the article, it is proposed that while intellectual property law teaching adapts to the development needs of the digital age, it should take the construction and teaching application of a virtual simulation experiment platform in real work situations as the core, respond to the practical needs of social practice work, and improve students' ability to adapt to society. The organic integration of AI technology, digital human technology and practical training teaching of intellectual property law has certain reference significance for the realization of the metaverse vision.

Determining the needs of teachers for teaching geometry education activities to children with visual impairments in early childhood using digital learning tools

The purpose of this research is to determine the needs of teachers for teaching geometry education activities to early childhood children with visual impairments using digital learning tools. The data for the study was collected during the fall semester of 2024-2025 through need analysis forms filled out by a total of 9 preschool and special education teachers working in state schools for the visually impaired located in Turkey's three largest cities: İzmir, Istanbul, and Ankara. The study is designed as a case study, one of the qualitative research designs. A single embedded case design was used in the study. In a single embedded case design, there are often multiple sub-units or layers within a single case (Yıldırım and Şimşek, 2018). The data collected in this study was analyzed using the content analysis method. When the results obtained from this research are generally examined, it was determined that the needs of teachers regarding the process of teaching and learning geometry to early childhood children with visual impairments are composed of the sub-themes of achievements, activities, and materials under the theme of the geometry teaching and learning process, and the sub-themes of learning and teaching under the theme of difficulties experienced in the geometry teaching and learning process. Additionally, the needs of teachers concerning the use of digital tools and technology in the geometry teaching and learning process were identified under the sub-themes of benefits, in-service training, and recommendations.

Microlearning technology based on video content: advantages, methodology and quality factors

Abstract The quality organization of the educational process using video-based microlearning technology can have several benefits for students. These include the ability to learn at their own pace and according to their individual needs, access from anywhere at any time, and focus on specific topics and tasks, which allows them to better absorb the learning material. Microlearning technology is being used effectively in business for employee training. However, the present study focused on the process of teaching using microlearning technology based on video content within the discipline Information Systems and Technologies in Economics. The experiment involved teachers and students of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES). To evaluate the quality of video-based microlearning technology, a data coverage measurement and analysis model (SBM-DEA) was used. The input factors were indicators of the quality of the e-course and learning technology, and the output parameters were students’ academic performance, students’ and teachers’ evaluation of the e-course and learning technology. The results showed that out of 39 respondents, 29 confirmed the effectiveness of this technology, which is 75% of the total. This indicates that the introduction of microlearning technology into the educational process has improved learning outcomes and that this technology has been positively evaluated by both teachers and students. The results of the study are important for improving the quality of organization of the educational process using the technology of microlearning based on video content, identifying key factors of quality of microlearning based on video content.

Utilization of Ice Breaking Techniques to Reignite Students' Engagement in Learning within Elementary Education

It is common and often happens when the teaching and learning process occurs; students feel bored with learning. Teachers must be more creative in finding out the way to create more enjoyable learning. This study aims to understand the implementation of ice breaking so that every learner uses ice breaking to know the supporting factors and to overcome the inhibiting factors. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were teachers as class teachers and class I.A. students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used source and technology triangulation. The interactive analysis model was used for data analysis in this study and was carried out in four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students were thrilled and interested in using ice-breaking in the teaching and learning process, which was carried out at the beginning, middle, and end of learning. Students' very high interest and interest affect student learning outcomes so that students can understand the learning material faster. For subsequent researchers, it is hoped that they can apply and find out about the types of ice breaking that can overcome student boredom and restore students' interest in learning.

Research on Mixed Reality Hand Interaction Technology in Flight Simulation Teaching

Abstract The integration of mixed reality simulation training in institutional education and teaching processes can yield significant quality benefits. Non-wearable interactive methods represent a more natural form of hand interaction within flight cockpits, covering various emerging fields such as mixed reality, computer vision, and human-computer interaction. This paper is guided by a “human-centered” approach to natural human-computer interaction and proposes a virtual hand mixed reality interaction scheme based on hand natural feature points. This study introduces a hand detection, segmentation, and recognition algorithm based on skin colour and key hand feature points. Initially, the algorithm uses the Otsu adaptive threshold algorithm in the YCbCr space for skin colour detection to accommodate varying image brightness levels. Subsequently, it employs a hand Keypoint model for rapid hand detection within skin-like areas while excluding interference from other regions. During the process of hand tracking, optimization prediction is performed using the particle filter algorithm combined with the artificial fish swarm algorithm to achieve tracking accuracy within six pixels in both horizontal and vertical directions. Gesture recognition involves extracting Fourier descriptive contour features of the hand bone structure through identification of feature points. Furthermore, this study combines the optimization capabilities of the artificial fish swarm algorithm to enhance support vector machine model parameter optimization for improved recognition rates. Testing involved 800 processed images as part of a test set for gesture recognition; only five commonly used gestures within flight cockpits were recognized and classified with an accuracy rate reaching up to 98%. Finally, this research presents virtual representations of common operational gestures including natural hand states, control stick manipulation, and throttle handling positions, button activations, and rotational movements via head-mounted displays or screens. The proposed mixed reality-based hand gesture interaction system addresses challenges related to complex background interference during hand detection in cockpit environments as well as issues arising from lighting disturbances. Additionally it resolves problems associated with insufficient particles leading to tracking failures while significantly enhancing registration effects during tracking processes. Moreover it mitigates issues related to Fourier descriptive features being influenced by background variations or changes in pose along with limitations pertaining to expressing singular forms of gestures thereby improving overall classification accuracy.

Factors Influencing Task-Based Learning Motivation in English for Presentation Course among Thai Undergraduates

Engaging students in active learning environments like task-based presentations can be challenging, as several factors influence their motivation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing motivation in task-based learning in the English for Presentation course. Thirty undergraduate students who enrolled in the English for Presentation course in the second semester of the 2022 academic year at a university in Bangkok, Thailand, were purposively selected as the participants for the study. The research instrument was the minute paper that students were asked to write about their thoughts and feelings in response to the presented task, which required them to work independently, in pairs, and in groups. The study revealed that students' intrinsic motivation, English proficiency, task relevance, instructor support, and task variety were the factors that influenced their motivation in task-based learning in the English for Presentation course. The study found that the intrinsic motivation of the students was the most significant factor in the English for Presentation course after considering each factor. The findings of this study are valuable to all stakeholders in the learning and teaching process in order to create successful strategies, raise motivation, and promote positive attitudes about English learning and teaching in Thai context.

Educational robotics and primary school mathematics teaching: An analysis of pre-service teachers didactic-mathematical knowledge

The scarcity of studies dedicated to the integration of educational robotics (ER) in teaching mathematical content, and the discomfort of teachers when integrating ER in their teaching practices make it pertinent to understand the development of the didactic knowledge of mathematics necessary to integrate ER in mathematics teaching practices during initial teacher training. This qualitative and interpretive study identifies the knowledge of the didactic dimension from the didactic-mathematical knowledge conceptual framework that is mobilized by pre-service teachers (PST) during the implementation of mathematical tasks that integrate ER during the practicum. Through content analysis of the data collected on the PST’s performance, we mapped the occurrence and co-occurrence based on the components of the didactic suitability criteria. From the results, we highlight: (i) the existence of a relationship between the mathematical knowledge needed to teach, knowledge of the mathematics curriculum, and knowledge of ER and how its integration in the teaching process can influence the learning process and (ii) the positive contribution of the implementation in the practicum of mathematical tasks that promote robot manipulation/programming at the same time as the exploration of the mathematical content for the development of the participants’ didactic knowledge of mathematics. A practical implication of our results is that these features should be part of future work dedicated to integrating ER in mathematics teaching practices of PST, aiming to assess their value in initial teacher training programs.
