The article considers the problem of a healthy lifestyle of students in a pandemic. The issue of development of physically active harmoniously developed personality of students of higher educational institutions is rather acute. A healthy lifestyle, the fight against bad habits, lack of physical activity, decreased immunity and, consequently, disease, remains relevant today. It has been found that optimal motor mode is one of the main factors that characterize the health and physical condition of the individual. The constant lack of physical activity in the lives of student youth becomes a real threat to their health and normal physical performance. We state that physical activity is the most important prerequisite for a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, the solution to this problem will be the introduction of independent physical education classes with the use of physical exercises in the daily routine of the student, which will positively affect his psycho-emotional, physical and physical condition, as well as improve health through lifestyle and lifestyle changes. Note that an important role in strengthening and improving health, in a pandemic, among students is the discipline of "Physical Education", which should be the main means of strengthening the health values of university students. According to scientists, the health of the individual depends on biological, natural, socio-economic factors, the state of medical services. These factors play an important role in ensuring the health of student youth, but in different ways. They promote good health and neutralize the effects of those factors that worsen it. We emphasize that physical activity is one of the main factors of a healthy lifestyle. We see the solution to this problem in the introduction of independent physical education classes with the use of physical exercises in the daily routine of students. The aim of the article is to consider ways to form a healthy lifestyle as a form of active physical activity in a pandemic. We emphasize that a component of the lifestyle and behavior of young people is their activity. This is a common feature of all forms of living matter. It depends on the organization of physical education, physique, functional capabilities of the body, and is characterized by the ability to meet their needs and adapt to changing conditions. The struggle for existence closely related to movement. In a pandemic, it is very important to educate students in the natural need for regular sports, the organization of a healthy lifestyle, which is closely linked to the solution of educational problems. The study found that the introduction of physical culture and health classes in the educational process of physical education of student youth has a positive effect on the level of personal health and physical activity. Involving students in the preparation of physical culture and health classes "for themselves" in a pandemic contributes to the self-actualization of physical exercises with a clear understanding of the purpose and ways to achieve it.
