RHETORICAL PROBLEMS IN PRIMARY EDUCATION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THEM

THE METAPHORIC PERCEPTIONS OF PARENTS ABOUT THE CONCEPT OF PROBLEMS IN PRIMARY EDUCATION

Bu araştırma, velilerin ilköğretim sorunlarına ilişkin algılarını metaforlar aracılığıyla belirlemek ve karşılaştırmak amacıyla tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan fenomenoloji yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubunu, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen, KKTC'de İlköğretim Bölümü'ne bağlı ilköğretim okullarında çocuğu olan 100 veli oluşturmaktadır. Ebeveynlerin algıları doğrultusunda okullarda yaşanan sorunlara yönelik çözümlerin üretilmesi ve gerekli önlemlerin alınması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmış ve her velinin metaforik algılarını ortaya çıkarmak için “İlköğretimdeki sorunlar …..ye benzer çünkü …..” cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda veliler toplam 46 metafor üretmiştir. Üretilen metaforlar ise içerik analizi ile çözümlenerek sorunların kaynağını belirlemek amacıyla 5 kategori altında toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına bağlı olarak velilerin olumsuz metaforlar ürettikleri ve eğitimdeki sorunları karmaşık, belirsiz ve içinden çıkılmaz bir durum olarak gördükleri belirlenmiştir.

Theatre as a Teaching Resource to Work on Socio-environmental Problems in Primary Education

The objective of this article is to make an approach to how primary education teachers understand that theatre favours the treatment of socio-environmental problems in the classroom in a motivating and practical way. Semi-structured interviews have been carried out with teachers who have already used theatre in their classrooms. The results have been structured on the basis of three categories: motivation and values, context and subjects, and difficulties. The potential of theatre in primary school is highlighted, with time and the number of students in the groups being the main difficulties in incorporating them into the classroom.

Primary education is a key to success for every developing nations. As a developing nation, India also gives utmost importance in the field of primary education. In India primary education covers the age group between 6-14 years. Again, in our nation this level of education is made free and compulsory to attain 100% literacy for nation’s progress. Slums used to grow in city areas where dwellings are unfit for human habitation. In Guwahati, which is the major city of the North-East India, slums are generally found near the Railway tracks and market areas. The children residing in these areas suffers from various problems which hampers in their studies and other relative activities relating to their primary education. However, this paper is an attempt to find out the major problems faced by the slum children in attaining their primary education.

Methods were used: analysis, analogy, deduction, induction, classification, observation, generalization, synthesis. Results. The work proposes the concept of primary education. Suggests methods of teaching and assessment. The article reflects the problems of primary education, organization of educational process, provision of schools. Conclusion. To continuously monitor the status of primary education, correction and forecast of its development it is necessary to conduct systematic monitoring of student achievement on school, national and international levels. At the school level is determined by the dynamics of the development of quality indicators of educational achievements of the child in respect of herself. At the national level follows the dynamics of the quality of the result of their work is based on the comparison of the results of student achievement of different educational institutions. To monitor the international level is to identify the strategic directions of modernization of primary education in Russia.

Identification of the Strong Factor that Influence the Improvement of the Primary Education using the Evidential Reasoning

Primary education is one of the important social sectors in the developing countries. It plays a gigantic role in promoting the social development of the concerned countries. More specifically, not the only education but the quality primary education which depends on such factors will contribute a lot for its smooth acceleration. In primary education, if the quality will maintain then automatically all the problems in primary education i.e. enrollment, completion, drop-out and so on will be robotic and gradually solved. The improvement primary education is influenced by both multiple qualitative and quantitative factors. This paper presents evidential reasoning(ER) approach to find out significant factors that are aggregated in assessment of performance of primary education. A case study of Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi and Khulna districts in Bangladesh is provided to illustrate the implementation process of the ER approach for finding strong factors of primary education. For that reason, firstly we assess the performance of four districts then we determine the weakness and strength of specific factors of particular district. In this paper we also show the relation of lowest or best performing districts to its specific factors.

This interest increased noticeably in recent years in connection with the transition to eight-year compulsory schooling. The eight-year school has become the basic link in the system of public education, and the quality of instruction in it largely determines whether Soviet youth are properly prepared for work and socio-political activity.
