Objective To summarize the experience of nursing cooperation during the operation of hypothalamic hamartoma resection through transcallosal interforniceal approach , in order to improve quality of cooperation in the operation and reduce the incidence of surgery-related complications .Methods The situation of nursing cooperation in four patients undergoing hypothalamic hamartoma resection through transcallosal interforniceal approach was analyzed retrospectively , including preoperative preparation , body position management , comprehensive heat preservation measures , collaboration in operation and others .Results Four patients obtained the good curative effect after the surgical treatment , whose symptoms were relieved , without postoperative intracranial infection .There were total removal of three patients and partial removal of one patient because of the special position of tumor .Conclusions Sufficient preoperative preparation , preoperative psychological care and intervention , correct body position , reasonable application of comprehensive heat preservation measures in the operation and proficient operation cooperation are key factors to ensure the success of operation.
