The port, situated on the eastern coast of India, serves as a pivotal gateway for trade, handling a diverse array of cargo and accommodating a significant portion of the country's maritime activities. Given the dynamic nature of port operations and the multitude of risks inherent in logistics, understanding how logistic service providers navigate these challenges is essential for ensuring smooth and reliable supply chain operations. The study begins by identifying the diverse range of risks prevalent in the logistics landscape of Chennai port, encompassing operational, financial, regulatory, and environmental dimensions.
