Also several Latin American countries have included this vaccine in their national vaccination program. Objective: Determine according to the polyspecific answer anti IgG mumps, rubella and measles in a children population with neuroinfammation process if a vaccine failure was produced. Material and methods: Pediatric patients suffering from viral meningoencephalitis during 2009-12. Previously, the patients were immunized with against with a trivalent vaccine againt mumps, rubella and measles. Serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) IgG and albumin were quantified by immunodiffusion to determine intrathecal IgG synthesis and virus specific IgG antibody index by ELISA technique. Results: IgG intrathecal synthesis were presented without blood-CSF dysfunction. CSF and serum anti-mumps IgG were significant positive correlationate and between measles antibody index with age of the patients and answer time but not in anti rubella and anti measles antibody index with age and answer time and vaccination year. Conclusions: A vaccination failure was produced in this children population according to their polyspecific IgG antibodies against measles, rubella and mumps and correlated with epidemiology findings.
