This paper proposes a comparative study of hub motor control based on multiple control strategies (pi control, direct torque control, model predictive current control) to address the problem of slow dynamic response in traditional vector control of electric vehicle permanent magnet synchronous hub motors. By strictly extracting the mathematical model of the motor, the desired target voltage vector and current vector are derived using three controllers and applied to the controlled object. Finally, experiments are conducted on a simulation platform, and the experimental conclusions are used to compare and analyze the reliability and adaptability of different controllers.
