Quantitative Analysis of the Influence of Affective Commitment on the Performance of Administrative Staff in Tertiary Institutions, Anambra States

Enhancing the performance of administrative staff necessitated this study. The study quantitatively analyzed the influence of affective commitment on the job performance of administrative staff in tertiary institutions in Anambra State. One research question and one null hypothesis were tested at a 0.05 significant level, guiding the study. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design with a population of 544 administrative staff in tertiary institutions in Anambra state studied without sampling. A 10-10-item questionnaire titled "Influence of Affective Commitment on the Performance of Administrative Staff (IAC-PAS)" was used for data collection. The face and content validity of the instrument were determined by two experts in business education, measurement, and evaluation. Trail testing was used to establish the instrument's reliability, and data were analyzed using Cronbach alpha reliability, which yielded a coefficient value of .81. The researchers, with the help of three research assistants, administered copies of the questionnaire to the respondents. Out of the 544 copies of the questionnaire distributed, 528(97%) copies were correctly filled and returned and used for data analysis. Statistical mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research question and determine the homogeneity of the respondents' ratings, and a t-test was used to test the null hypothesis. Findings revealed that administrative staff agree that affective commitment influences their performance in tertiary institutions in Anambra State. Age did not significantly influence respondents' mean ratings on the influence of affective commitment on the performance of administrative staff in tertiary institutions in Anambra State. Based on the study's findings, the researchers concluded that building a working environment that promotes affective commitment can improve the performance of administrative staff of tertiary institutions in Anambra State to a very high level. Therefore, it was recommended that the management of tertiary institutions in Nigeria provide regular organizational support programs for administrative staff to better develop their personal and career objectives and improve their affective commitment and job performance.

Management of human talent and work performance of administrative staff in academia

Purpose: to examine the relationship between talent management and job performance among administrative support staff, with the aim of proposing improvements for the Directorate of School Services at Juarez University. By means of an adequate management of human talent to assess work performance to stablish efficiency standards for staff. Methodology: The design of this research is non-experimental with a quantitative approach, involving correlation analysis, descriptive methods, and a cross-sectional design. Data was collected through a questionnaire. Findings: There is a moderate positive linear correlation (Spearman’s Rho: 0.426) between an improved management of human talent and a better job performance. According to the perception of workers, selection of personnel and job training are crucial to attain better work performance and achieve goals efficiently. Implications: To provide quality service and achieve high performance standards, organizations must improve personnel preparation and training. Additionally, it is crucial to count on a transformative leadership to create a strong organizational culture. Originality: This study highlights the relevance of human talent management to improve job performance.

IMPLEMENTASI APLIKASI SIMBADA PADA PELATIHAN PENGELOLAAN ASET DAN INVENTARIS SEKOLAH DALAM PENINGKATAN KINERJA PEGAWAI ADMINISTRASI SMA NEGERI 22 SURABAYA

This study aims to determine the training of regional property management related to school assets and inventory based on SIMBADA application in improving the performance of administrative staff in infrastructure affairs at SMA Negeri 22 Surabaya. In this study using qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used are interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results showed that the SIMBADA application training proved to be very effective in contributing and supporting the improvement of the quality of regional goods management to accelerate and facilitate the use of goods, and was able to support all employee activities, especially goods administrators or administrative staff in infrastructure facilities in carrying out administration of regional goods management as much as possible and much better.

Improving the administrative staff performance: A study of training and development factors

This article aims to examine the effect of training and development on the performance of administrative staff at Universitas Kristen Maranatha. This study involved 70 administrative staff as samples. A quantitative approach is used with data collection using a questionnaire and data analysis using SPSS software version 26. To test the hypothesis, this study used multiple linear analysis. The study found that training affects the performance of administrative staff at Universitas Kristen Maranatha positively and significantly, and development also affects the performance of administrative staff at Universitas Kristen Maranatha positively and significantly. Training and development have a positive impact on the performance of administrative staff at Universitas Kristen Maranatha. The more planned the training and development program, the more it will affect the performance of administrative staff.

Effectiveness of Administration Staff Performance

. Effectiveness is the relationship between output and objectives or it can also be said to be a measure of the level of output. Effectiveness is also often used to measure the success achieved by an organization or company in relation to planned programs. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the performance of administrative employees at SMK Negeri 1 Makassar. This research used qualitative methods with 5 (five) informants, namely the school principal, the head of administration, and employees in the administration sector. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Makassar. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis that will be used in this research is data collection reduction, data presentation, data condensation, and conclusions. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of the performance of administrative staff at SMK Negeri 1 Makassar is quite effective, in other words, the performance of administrative staff is seen through quality, quantity, discipline, politeness, responsibility, knowledge, skills, and work evaluation. Problems related to the work results of administrative employees in carrying out their duties, these factors can be used as a benchmark in conducting an assessment of an employee's performance level even though it is realized that employee performance is not the only factor that can determine success in achieving this. However, there are still aspects that have not been implemented optimally. Based on these findings, it is recommended that administrative staff increase their responsibility towards fellow administrative staff and employees.

Effect of Work Motivation and Indirect Compensation on Employee Performance

Researchers conducted a study on the effect of motivation and indirect compensation on employee performance in an educational institution in Bandung. Moreover, this research analyzes the factor that has the most dominant influence between work motivation and indirect compensation on employee performance in one of the educational institutions in the city of Bandung. As many as 86 employees are the object of this study using a questionnaire.
 Based on research using path analysis, motivation, and indirect compensation variables in one of the educational institutions in the city of Bandung are declared valid. The conclusions and considerations related to the research results are paying attention to work motivation and indirect compensation to improve employee performance.
 The results of the study show that work motivation (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Furthermore, Indirect Compensation (X2) significantly influences Employee Performance (Y). Therefore, work Motivation (X1) and Indirect Compensation (X2) have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y).
 To increase the motivation of Administrative Personnel in an educational institution in the city of Bandung, the Leader should increase the firmness of attitude in making decisions, providing direction, guidance, instructions, and evaluation regarding the implementation of tasks and work to increase motivation. People aspect of learning organisation and performance of administrative staff in a public university context

PurposeThe purpose of this study was to examine effects of the human aspects of the learning organisation (i.e. continuous learning; inquiry and dialogue; team collaboration and learning; and employee empowerment) on the performance of a public university’s administrative staff. Differences in the human aspects of the learning organisation across perhaps the two most important demographic characteristics (educational attainment and years of experience) were also examined.Design/methodology/approachThis study focused exclusively on the human aspect of the dimensions of the learning organisation questionnaire. Specifically, differences in the people aspect of learning organization (PALO) across demographic characteristics were analysed using the Kruskal–Wallis test with a Bonferroni adjustment to the alpha values in the Mann–Whitney U tests that followed. Hierarchical linear regression using the standard (enter) method was adopted in analysing the PALO and administrative staff performance while controlling for age and gender.FindingsThis study demonstrated that a difference in the PALO existed across the education level and years of experience of the administrative staff. Specifically, Diploma holders performed better than those with Postgraduate degree. Also, administrative staff with 5–10 years of experience did better than the staff who had more than 15 years of experience. In addition, continuous learning; inquiry and dialogue; and collaboration and team learning each had a significant effect on administrative staff performance.Practical implicationsEmployees, especially those with higher levels of education and more work experience, should be motivated through rewards as well as challenging and thought-provoking tasks as they could serve as mechanisms that would make them contribute substantially to the sustainability of the PALO. Again, public universities should pay attention to the PALO, which is at the individual and team levels.Originality/valueThis study focuses solely on the people aspect of the dimensions of the learning organisation questionnaire and sheds light on its importance to the learning organisation culture.

Analisis Kepuasan Siswa Terhadap Layanan Administrasi Di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Halmahera Utara

This study aims to determine student satisfaction with administrative services at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Halmahera Utara and to find out the performance of administrative staff at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 North Halmahera. This type of research is field research (field research) with the research approach used is ex post facto classified as quantitative. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and documentation to be analyzed using statistical techniques and correlational regression tests which were applied to a sample of 29 students from 10% of the population, totaling 293 students. The results showed that the average score of students' expectations of administrative services was 601: 29: 5 = 4.14. (601) is the total score, 29 is the number of respondents, and 5 is the number of items (instruments) or a percentage of 4.14: 5 = 0.828 x 100 = 82.8 or 83 (rounded) with a very high category, so it can be stated that students' expectations of administrative services at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 North Halmahera are classified as very high/important. And the average score of administrative employee performance on administrative services is 589: 29: 5 = 4.06 (589) is the total score, 29 is the number of respondents, and 5 is the number of instrument items) or a percentage of 4.06: 5 = 0.812 x 100 = 81.2 or 81 (rounded) with a high category, so it can be stated that students' expectations of employee performance in realizing administrative services at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 North Halmahera are in a very high (satisfactory) category.

Correlation Between Administrative Personnel Competency And Madrasah Administrative Personnel Performance

The success of madrasas in achieving goals is strongly influenced by the madrasa climate, one of which is effective madrasa administration. To support the effective administration of madrasas, administrative staff are needed who have competence in accordance with the administrative staff standards set by the government. Therefore, the fulfillment of the qualification and competency standards for school/madrasah administrative staff must be met by school/madrasah administrators. Adequate competence of madrasah administrative staff will result in high performance of administrative staff. This study aims to describe the relationship between the Competence of Administrative Personnel and the Performance of Madrasah Administrative Personnel in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Bekasi City. This research is descriptive, using a quantitative approach to the type of correlation. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the competence of administrative staff has a significant relationship with the performance of madrasa administrative staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Bekasi City. Calculation of the correlation coefficient analysis shows the number 0.888, which means that there is a relationship with the "Very High" category.

SERVICE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION EMPLOYEES ON STUDENT SATISFACTION

Higher education institutions should guarantee student satisfaction, not only in academic services such as the teaching and learning process, but also include administrative services, administrative and academic processes. This study aims to determine and analyze the quality of service, determine and analyze the performance of academic administrative employees, determine and analyze the level of student satisfaction, determine the effect of service quality and academic staff performance on student satisfaction at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Science and Law, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The research method used is causal associative quantitative type, the total population is 4. 588 with a research sample of 98 respondents. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, observation, and documentation with data analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The effect of service quality and performance of administrative staff on student satisfaction is 53.10%. The magnitude of the effect is 53.10%, indicating that service quality and performance affect student satisfaction at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FIS-H), Universitas Negeri Makassar, other factors contribute 46.90 percent to student satisfaction.

The Effect of Human Resources Competence, Incentives and Leadership on the Performance of Administrative Staff

The echelon officials who served in the hospital of Dr. H. Kumpulan Pane Tebing Tinggi City is the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), as well as most of its administrative staffs. Echelon officials and administrative staffs often come from agencies outside the hospital. They have a lot to experience about hospital management which is much different from management in other agencies. This affects the performance of employees in the organization of the hospital. Therefore, the empowerment of administrative employees needs to be optimized. Thus, the current study seeks to examine the dominant factors influencing the performance of administrative staffs in UPTD RSUD Dr. H. Kumpulan Pane Tebing Tinggi City, namely HR competencies, incentives, and leadership. A total of 77 respondents have participated in this study through survey questionnaire and collected by using census method. This study uses three independent variables, namely HR competence, Incentives and Leadership and staff performance. The results showed that the HR competency, incentive and leadership partially influence on the performance of administrative staffs. HR competency, incentives and leadership simultaneously influence the performance of administrative staffs.

Relationship between Competency, Motivation, Workload and Leadership with the Performance of Administrative Staff in GMIM Bethesda General Hospital

All administrative staff of the GMIM Bethesda Tomohon General Hospital have their respective job descriptions that have been determined by the hospital management, but the implementation has not been carried out optimally. This is evidenced by the fact that there are still complaints of dissatisfaction from the community regarding the services provided. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between competence, motivation, workload and leadership with the performance of administrative staff at the General Hospital GMIM Bethesda Tomohon. This research is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. The population is all administrative staff at the General Hospital GMIM Bethesda Tomohon with a total of 54 employees. The data were collected by using a questionnaire filled out by the employees themselves, and the data were analyzed univariately through a frequency distribution table, bivariate analysis with chi-square test and multivariate with logistic regression method. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between competence, motivation, workload dan leadership with staff performance dan there is a most dominant variable on the performance of administrative staff is leadership.

Pengaruh Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia Terhadap Kinerja Staf Tata Usaha Pada Kantor UPTD TK, SD, dan Pendidikan Non Formal Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan Kabupaten Sumedang

Human resources are an important part in an institution so as to improve the quality of human resources, it is necessary to know what are the factors in improving the quality of human resources, one of which is competence. This study aims to determine the effect of competence on the performance of administrative staff of UPTD Kindergarten, Elementary, and Non-Formal Education, South Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. The type of research conducted is descriptive and quantitative research. The population of this study was the administrative staff of UPTD TK, SD, and Non-Formal Education, South Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency, which amounted to 9 people and all of them were be sampling in this study and were asking to answer questionnaires. Based on the analysis, it can be concluding that the resulting of regression equation shows that competence has a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of administrative staff. The correlation coefficient value shows a value of 0.423, which means that the relationship between competence and the performance of administrative staff is moderate. The coefficient of determination has a contribution value of competence to the performance of administrative staff of 17.9% while the remaining 82.1% is influencing by other factors besides competence.

Records Management Strategies and Professional Performance of Administrative Staff

This study correlated the records management strategies of the administrative staff at Laguna State Polytechnic University with their professional performance. The descriptive quantitative research involved 59 administrative staff through the researcher-made survey questionnaire distributed through Google forms. The results of the study proved that there is a significant difference in the records management strategies when grouped according to age, gender, job tenure, and job position in the department. However, there was no significant difference among the professional performances when grouped according to age, gender, job tenure, and job position in the department. The study also confirmed that records management strategies have a positive significant relation to professional performance. The findings can help improve the university policies, procedures, and strategies in managing records. Therefore, it is recommended to provide training programs and improving implementation of evaluation and assessment to the administrative staff to expand their professional proficiencies.

The Positive Impact of Leadership and Work Motivation on Job Satisfaction of Honorary School Administration Staff

In order to improve the quality of performance of administrative staff in schools, efforts are always made to increase job satisfaction. The increase in job satisfaction of administrative staff is influenced by many factors, including the principal's leadership role as a direct supervisor and the motivation of administrative staff. This study was conducted to analyse the influence of leadership and motivation on honorary school administration staff. The time used during research activities is planned for nine months. The data analysis used is structural equation model (SEM) using AMOS software. The findings from the study that there is a principal’s leadership style have a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of honorary school administrative staff. The ability of the principal's management to contribute significantly to the service of administrative staff and high work motivation will have a positive effect on job satisfaction. As honorary school administrators who play an essential role in an educational institution, they must have the awareness to motivate themselves in carrying out their duties so that the desired goals can be achieved.

Researchers are interested in researching this in order to find out: The Role of Administrative Personnel in Improving the Quality of Administrative Services at Mts. Hidayatul Muhsinin With the main problem: Activities and Role of Administrative Personnel in Improving Service Quality, Barriers in Improving Administrative Service Quality and Strategies in Improving Administrative Service Quality. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The main data sources in this study were school principals, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Finance Head of Administration and teachers obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that 1). The performance of administrative staff with the strategy implemented is to facilitate the payment or fee system that has been implemented since 2008, and maintain and manage school infrastructure facilities. The integration of the program from administrative staff with daily activities at school is still ongoing, although there are several obstacles in implementation. 2). The obstacles faced by schools in managing administrative services are archive warehouses that have not been optimal, a comprehensive database system has not been implemented and the preparation of the School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan still has difficulties related to costs that are not raised, existing facilities still have complaints from service users but complaints These complaints are not always handled quickly because they are related to the number of administrative staff. 3). Efforts are being made to overcome some of these obstacles, namely providing a letter of notification to parents to collect files immediately, increasing the payment of school fees to new students to cover the financing system that is not increased, so that each class pays school fees with different fees, the next strategy implementation of a system for controlling the condition of school facilities. The most important aspect that determines the success of an educational institution is the efficient implementation of all school organizational activities. The role of the administrative staff themselves in the school is very meaningful in supporting the smooth and successful administration of the school. Therefore, the administration must be able to carry out its duties and functions properly so that competence and expertise are needed to support the field of administration.

Performance of educational personnel in school data management in Madrasah Tsanawiyah

This study aims to find out and obtain in-depth information about the performance of education personnel in managing school data at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung by looking at: (1) the competence of madrasa administration staff; (2) motivation of madrasah administrative staff and (3) feedback as the service quality of madrasah administrative staff. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The place that became the object of research was MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The subject of this research is the head of madrasa administration staff. The informants in this study were the madrasah administrative staff themselves, the madrasa principal, teachers, students, and the community. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and methods. The data analysis technique used is done interactively which includes: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study show that the competencies possessed by each madrasa administrative staff are by their respective fields which include personality competence, social competence, managerial competence, and technical competence. The motivation given by the head of the madrasa and the head of administrative staff to each administrative staff is still not optimal, especially the lack of monitoring and evaluation so that it affects the performance of administrative staff in carrying out their duties. Feedback as the quality of service provided by administrative staff to customers, namely students, all madrasa employees, and the community is quite satisfactory so that many parents entrust MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung as the school of choice, both domiciled near or far from the madrasa.

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of knowledge competence and skillcompetence on the performance and career development of administrative staff at SMK Negeriin Bondowoso Regency. The type of this research is survey research, namely research usingexplanation (explanatory) or confirmatory (confirmatory) to explain the influence betweenvariables or causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The population inthis study were 63 people. The sampling technique is the census technique, so the number ofsamples used is 63 respondents. The data analysis method used is path analysis. The results ofthis study can be concluded that the competence of knowledge and competence of skills have asignificant effect on the performance of administrative staff.
