Clean Water Supply in Tasikmalaya Municipality, Opportunities and Challenges

Currently, there are three sub-districts in Tasikmalaya City that are still vulnerable to clean water, namely Kawalu, Tamansari, and Cibeureum sub-districts. PDAM Tirta Sukapura, owned by the Tasikmalaya Regency Government, has not been able to meet clean water needs, so the Tasikmalaya Municipality Government plans to build a new PDAM as an alternative. The Ciwulan river in Cibeuti Village is a source of water that will be used as a collection point. Rain data was taken from 2 stations, namely Gunung Satria and Cikunten II stations, for ten years. The evapotranspiration value was calculated using the Penman-Monteith method. The calculation of the discharge in the intake area, namely Ciwulan-Cibeuti with a watershed area of ​​405 km2, used the NRECA method using parameters taken from the calibrated Ciwulan-Sukaraja station. The calibration parameters are PSUB = 0.86; GWF = 0.22, reduction coefficient = 0.80; and NSE = 0.764. The determination of the dependable flow is calculated using the Weibull method. The magnitude of the Q90's dependable flow is 4.3 m3/s. The projected population for the next 15 years is estimated at 307,857 people, so the amount of water needed is around 0.535 m3/s. Opportunities for business entities to participate in building PDAM are wide open, with the certainty of return plus profits or independent management by business entities within a certain period of time. The challenge for the government and business entities is to provide reasonable prices to customers and new networks.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI LOYALITAS KONSUMEN PADA PDAM TIRTA RATU SAMBAN

This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality, product quality, and satisfaction toward consumers loyalty at PDAM Tirta Ratu Samban branch of Hulu Palik sub-district, North Bengkulu. This research used a qualitative method. The sample of this research was 105 consumers of PDAM Tirta Ratu Samban branch of Hulu Palik sub-district, North Bengkulu that taken by using accidental sampling technique. The data was collected by using instruments such as observation and questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using multiple regression analysis and coefficient of determination. The results of the research show that Service Quality (X1), Product Quality (X2) and Consumers Satisfication (X3) have a simultaneous effect toward Customers Loyalty (Y) at PDAM Tirta Ratu Samban Branch Hulu Palik North Bengkulu. The results of regression equation analysis are as follows: Y = 0.689+ 0.237 (X_1) + 0.163 (X2) + 0.331 (X3). = 0.000 ; 0.050), Product Quality, obtained tcount; ttable (3.284 ; 1.98260) and (sig;α = 0.001;0.050), Consumers Satisfaction, obtained tcount;ttable (4.145 ; 1.98260) and (sig;α = 0.000 ; 0.050). This means that service quality, product quality, and consumers satisfaction have a significant effect on customer loyalty at PDAM Tirta Ratu Samban, Hulu Palik sub-district, North Bengkulu. Perencanaan Jaringan Perpipaan Kawasan Tumbuh Kembang Perumahan Desa Logandeng Kabupaten Gunungkidul Menggunakan Aplikasi Epanet 2.0

According to data from PDAM Tirta Handayani, Gunungkidul Regency, as the manager of clean water providers in Wonosari City and its surroundings, currently only able to serve about 76% of the total population in the service area, mostly through direct lines. Condition Currently, there are still many obstacles in drinking water services, especially in terms of distribution to customer. The purpose of the study was to determine the required discharge in housing and Knowledge of pipeline network planning. This research is located in the housing that will be built in Logandeng village, Gunungkidul district. Data were collected including debits, hours peak water use, and look at the topography of the planning area as an observation technique in data input, besides that, interview techniques are also used to be able to find out the number of houses and population in the housing planning area. Based on calculation analysis and epanet simulations in planning the clean water distribution network in housing that will be built in the village of Logandeng, in planning the distribution pipe network system using gravity drainage system, the highest elevation here is 206 MDPL and the lowest is 188 MDPL, so that the debits in the planning system still reach planning with branch system. Water demand in Logandeng housing in 2021 is 0.921 L/second with a population of 511 people, while in 2025 it is 1.188 L/second with population of 664 people.

Analysis of water distribution systems and head losses using the hardy-cross method

Distribution services have not been running optimally at PDAM Tirta Meulaboh, that This study aims to determine the level of pressure loss in the PDAM’s clean water pipe network. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive survey method supported by primary data and secondary data. Calculation of the amount of pressure loss using the hardy cross method. The results showed that the observed value of discharge with the highest water consumption was at 18:00 WIB at 0.172 m3 / person, while for the lowest use was at 14:00 WIB at 0.119 m3 / person. It can be concluded that this time is the peak time for water consumption. High-pressure water where the maximum average is 0.00000599 m, because high pressure is not adequate. The maximum loss of high pressure is found in the loop (VII) of 2.57025 m or 0.257025 atm, for the minimum pressure there is in the loop (VI) of - 0.00024 m or -0.000024 atm. It is necessary to re-evaluate the distribution network system by PDAM such as surveys to find out the causes of high water pressure losses to customers such as surveys for water leaks in distribution pipes, replacing old pipes.

Analysis Of The Clean Water Service Capacity of The Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) In Cirebon Regency, Indonesia

The provision of clean water for the community is not optimal, so that the distribution of water is not evenly distributed. The distribution network of PDAM Tirta Jati serves Taman Tukmudal Indah Housing, Sumber District, which is supplied from Cigusti springs with a gravity drainage system, currently reaching 1,037 units of house connections. The lowest air pressure = 1.00 meters, and the highest = 50 meters, the lowest average air pressure is at 22:00 and the highest is at 09:00. The minimum air pressure that must be met is 1.0 atm. Analisis Kualitas Pelayanan Distribusi Air Bersih PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Cabang Rawa Tembaga Kabupaten Bekasi Tahun 2022

Water is one of the most vital needs and absolutely necessary for all living things, especially humans. In everyday life, humans cannot be separated from their need for water. For this reason, the provision of clean water is very necessary for consumption purposes. The Regional Water Company, which stands for PDAM, is a regional-owned business unit, which is engaged in the distribution of clean water for the general public. PDAMs are located in every province, district, and municipality throughout Indonesia. PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Branch Rawa Tembaga Bekasi Regency also has a fairly wide service area and customers are increasing every year, with this PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Rawa Tembaga is required to always be responsive to the wants and needs for clean water that meets community standards, but in reality there are still many customers who complain about water distribution services. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the quality of clean water services using Zeithaml theory. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The results of this study based on an analysis of the quality of services provided in terms of facilities and infrastructure are good, with a large parking area and a clean customer counter area that makes transactions, communication communicates then the services provided are currently good in accordance with the lack of customer complaints in addition to making it easier Consumers of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Rawa Tembaga Branch also provide Customer Hotlines and information through social media ranging from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, in providing services there is a technology-based excellent service application or PP/BTI to facilitate service and have a very good impact in resolving customer complaints of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Rawa Tembaga Branch.

The service process in calculating water discharge for PDAM customers is still using conventional water meters as a result, the process of delivering information cannot be optimally accepted by various related parties and often the process that occurs requires officers to directly visit the customer's place then automatically manually recorded, the results from conventional meters and are often wrong in recording and calculating, of course this requires a solution. The design method used is the Prototype Model from Sommerville, with Listen to Customer stages / listen to complaints for system needs, Build / Revise mock-ups to design and create systems and Customer test drive mock-ups to test the system that has been made and use Unifed modeling. Modeling Language for system representation in an easy-to-understand picture. This research produces tools and applications that can calculate water discharge automatically with integrated data using Internet of Things technology, apart from that, web application media are designed to provide information to customers and companies regarding the amount of usage along with the amount of bills charged to customers. customer. who can provide solutions to problems in PDAM Tirta Garut.

SERVICE QUALITY OF TIRTA SIAK REGIONAL MINERAL WATER COMPANY (PDAM) PEKANBARU CITY

Regional Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Siak of Pekanbaru City as one of the government agencies in the form of Regionally-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) which has a type of service included in the service group of goods namely services included in the service group of goods namely services that produce as forms / types of goods, in this case is the supply of clean water. The purpose of this research is to find out how the quality of service of PDAM Tirta Siak of Pekanbaru City and the factors that inhibit it. The theory used is Zeithaml's theory that there are five dimensions to measure service quality: Tangible, Reliability, Responsiviness, Assurance, and Empathy. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach and the data needed both primary and secondary data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation techniques for subsequent analysis. The results of this study indicate that: first, the service quality of PDAM Tirta Siak of Pekanbaru City is still not fully optimal due to the discovery of several things that are not in accordance with quality service, only one indicator , namely Empathy which has been running properly because it can we see PDAM Tirta Siak has been maximized in terms of giving good empathy to its customers. While Tangible indicators, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance which can be concluded have not been implemented properly, because there are still conflicts with the Perda, vision and mission, and good SOPs. the factors that hinder the Quality of Service of the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Siak of Pekanbaru City, namely: Facilities and Infrastructure and human resources.

Estimating Opportunity Cost as A Tool to Evaluate Water Loss Management of Non-Revenue Water at PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa

Water loss or Non-Revenue Water (NRW) is a national problem PDAMs, including PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa. In fact, with a high level of water loss, there is a significant potential loss of income. This study aims to implement opportunity cost calculation as a managerial tool for PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa in making investment decisions to improve water loss management. This research was conducted by collecting information from financial, managerial, and local government equity participation reports. Then the data reduction is carried out and calculated based on the gross margin, net profit margin, and the opportunity cost. This study indicates that the capital investment provided by the Pontianak City’s government has increased, followed by an increase in the number of consumers. However, it was not followed by an increase in the company’s profit. This is due to the opportunity cost or lost income during the business process amounting to Rp31,218,673,384.64 in 2019 with a potential income to Rp222,663,258,365.00 if it manages to suppress distribution leakage to the level of 20%. This potential income is worthy of consideration for PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa to start water loss management in the NRW reduction program.

Pengaruh Disiplin dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang Kota Bukittinggi

This study aims to determine the effect of discipline and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang in Bukittinggi City. To conduct the research, the authors used data from a structured questionnaire and a sample of 75 employees of PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi City. This study uses the SPSS version 22 program and the test instruments used are validity and reliability tests using binary logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi City and motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang in Bukittinggi City and the most dominant variable affecting satisfaction is Work discipline. Analysis of Smart Tank Clean Water Supply Infrastructure Development

This study aims to develop an appropriate clean water supply infrastructure, to increase the need for clean water infrastructure, especially smart tanks following the development of the city and society. Quantitative descriptive analysis is used to identify the existing clean water supply infrastructure. The results of quantitative descriptive analysis show that the existing service area of the Piping SPAM Cibinong urban settlement area is an area that is used as the center of urban activities with an existing service level of 17.26%. The existing raw water source used by PDAM Cibinong District is the Ciliwung River with a water discharge rate of 643.360 l/sec. PDAM Tirta Kahuripan in 2018 was only able to produce clean water of 643,360 l/second, so that there was a shortage of clean water in Cibinong sub-district in 2038 of 748 l/second, therefore we had to look for alternative sources of raw water. To be able to realize the fulfillment of clean water supply infrastructure in urban areas precisely in accordance with urban development, the construction of a water supply system is immediately carried out by developing clean water supply infrastructure, in this case the smart tank design. The development of clean water supply infrastructure is expected to be able to overcome the shortage of water supply infrastructure and clean water.

THE EFFECT OF VARIATIONS OF LEAD METAL SOLUTION PH VARIATIONS ON ADSORBENT FROM TIRTA MUSI WASTE MUD WASTE PALEMBANG

Industrial waste can cause environmental pollution, one of which is solid metal waste. Lead is a dangerous and toxic heavy metal that can cause damage to the surrounding environment. Liquid waste containing mercury in industry contains a mixture of chemical compounds that other This causes the pH of the solution in the waste to vary. Lead metal waste needs to be treated with method one of which is the absorption of waste using an adsorbent. To enlarge the pores, the adsorbent will be activated using a 2 M KOH solution with the selected adsorbent, namely the sewage sludge of PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang which contains PAC (Poly Aluminum Chloride) which can help optimize absorption. The level of metal degradation was analyzed using AAS with absorption parameters obtained 4 with an absorption capacity of 23 ,22 mg/g.

PENGUKURAN DEBIT AIR MASUK DAN AIR KELUAR PADA INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR (IPA)DI PERUSAHAAN DAERAH AIRMINUM (PDAM) TIRTA KEUMUENENG LANGSA

Based on the measurement data, the entering and outgoing water discharges at the Water Treatment Plant undergo surface water fluctuation, with the inflow water having a higher discharge value than the outflow water (IPA). Several processes in the Water Treatment Plant (IPA) cause the varied discharge levels, including flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. The water discharge value is affected by the distance and time between stations, resulting in a decrease in the amount of water produced. Each IPA has a varied water discharge capacity, ranging from 40 to 60 L/second.

Optimisation of degreemont water treatment package on Kedung Halang water treatment plant, Bogor, West Java

To provide drinking water in Bogor Regency, PDAM Tirta Kahuripan has several Water Treatment Plants (WTP) Kedung Halang WTP. Kedung Halang WTP consists of two water treatment packages, Indisi and Degreemont, with an average production of 37.3 L/s and 83.9 L/s, respectively. The purposes of this research are to evaluate the performance of the operating unit and process on the Degreemont Package and to provide optimisation recommendations based on the evaluation result. Steps in this research include evaluating the existing condition, providing recommendations, and analysing the quality of water produced. The evaluation found that one of the parameters did not fulfil the design criteria: the G.Td value on coagulation. The evaluation result of maximum flow rate is 125 L/s on intake, 150 L/s on coagulation, 130 L/s on flocculation and sedimentation, and 200 L/s on filtration. Thus, the optimum flow rate that can be operated is 125 L/s. The turbidity of the water produced has met the drinking water standard according to Minister of Health Regulation No. 492 of 2010, with removal efficiency above 95%. According to the result, it can be said that Degreemont Package is qualified to be applied as a drinking water treatment.

Water Security During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Sentul City

This research was conducted to determine the state of the water in Sentul City. The method used in this research is observation, interview and water measurement. The results showed that Sentul area has five soil classifications, namely typic hapludult, typic dystropept, oxic dystropept, typic hemipropept and aquic dystropept. The Sentul area has a undulating, hilly and mountainous topography with an altitude between 200 m-750 m above sea level. The Sentul area has 2 rivers, namely the Cikeas River and the Citeureup River. It was found that the chemical parameters for BOD5 and COD exceeded the established thresholds. The physical and microbiological parameters are still below the established threshold. Sentul City's water needs are currently at 5,162,500 liters / day. The water requirement is supplied by PDAM Tirta Kahuripan of 17,280 m3 / day. This situation makes Sentul City a surplus of water. The water surplus made Sentul City have water resistance during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Water is a basic human need that must be met every day. This results in the provision of water to be carried out even though the availability of raw water is limited. The limited availability of raw water is caused by the reduced water catchment area due to land conversion, the reservoir environment that has not been optimally conserved, and the reservoir as a reservoir for raw water which is not sufficient in number, even though the raw water in Tanjungpinang City comes from rainfall, so it is necessary to for the construction of a new reservoir. PDAM Tirta Kepri is a company that manages clean water which has been consumed by the people of Tanjungpinang. Even though it has been running so far, PDAM Tirta Kepri still needs to maximize the number of sales in order to meet the water needs of the people of Tanjungpinang city.

The Influence of Career Development and Servant Leadership towards Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance on PDAM Tirta Kencana Samarinda

Career development and leadership that serve for employees within the scope of the company's organization where they work are very important to be applied because it will lead to or create job satisfaction felt by employees which in the end will certainly lead to an increase in overall company performance and organization. When a good career is not created or achieved in the future, it will have an impact on job satisfaction and when it does not have a leader who serves the needs of its employees, it will also affect the perceived job satisfaction so that it affects the increase and decrease in employee performance . The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of career development and servant leadership on job satisfaction then career development and servant leadership on employee performance . The population used in this study were employees of the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Tirta Kencana Samarinda with sample size of 200 respondents. This study using quantitative method with data analyse is structural equation modeling or CB-SEM with support software IBM SPSS AMOS 26 in processing data. The results of this study indicate that career development has a significant effect on job satisfaction; servant leadership has no significant effect on job satisfaction; job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance; career development has a significant effect on employee performance; and servant leadership has a significant effect on employee performance.

Perhitungan Kebutuhan Air Bersih dan Perencanaan Kebutuhan Infrastruktur Perpipaan PDAM di Kel Sako, Sako Baru, Sialang dan Sukamaju Kec. Sako Kota Palembang

The service of clean water in urban areas is very important to be given special attention. PDAM Tirta Musi The Sako Kenten Service Unit serves 4 sub-districts in Sako sub-district, including Sako, Sako Baru, Sialang, and Sukamaju. As the area grows, the population also increases. It is estimated that in 2029 the total population in Sako sub-district will reach 106,273 people. Meanwhile, for now the population which only reaches 93,326 people, it is felt that there is a shortage of clean water supply from PDAM. Based on the results of surveys and interviews, information was obtained that the availability of clean water from PDAM in the Sako area is only 6,000 liters per month on average. This is not enough for the population. It becomes a big task for PDAM Tirta Musi to prepare it by building an adequate pipeline network. Another problem is the existing piping system does not support the flow with such a large discharge, so it requires a network using the latest material, namely using HDPE pipes. The use of this material was chosen because HDPE does not require much connection and the pipe is stronger than PVC pipe. After carrying out the survey and calculation of the RAB, it was found that the need for a new network system reached Rp. 53,756,600,000, - in order to meet service standards for 80% of the population in Sako District. Implementasi EOQ (Economic Orger Quantity) Untuk Perencanaan Dan Persediaan Pipa HDPE di PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi

problem in this research is how to forecast HDPE pipe supply orders at PDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method ?. purpose of this study was to determine the Forecasting of HDPE Pipe Supply Orders at PDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. research method used in this research is descriptive method. According to Nazir (2011), The descriptive research method is a method of examining the status of a group of people, an object, a condition, a system of thinking, or a class of events in the present. research objective is used to describe or explain accurately, systematically the facts in the phenomenon under study. Through this descriptive research, the researcher aims to obtain and describe how to apply the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) inventory method in addition to the inventory method applied by PDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi City. From the analysis carried out on the HDPE pipe supply control at PDAM Tirta Mayang, Jambi City, it can be seen: (1) To forecast the need for HDPE pipe for new connections using the linear regression method. So that the total estimated number of HDPE pipes needed during 2020 is 23766 meters of pipe for one year needs. (2) EOQ method is used to determine the number of economic orders that a company must place at 3256 meters / Order. (3) For the total cost that must be incurred by the company using EOQ is Rp. 45,448,450, while using the conventional method the company has to pay a higher cost of Rp. 88,768,650. so that it can be seen that there is a very large difference between using the EOQ method and the conventional amounting to Rp. 43,320,200, -.
