Patriotic education of future teachers in a university

The purpose of the study: to identify the pedagogical conditions for patriotic education of future teachers in a university. Object of study: educational system of a university. Subject of research: patriotic education of future teachers in a university. In accordance with the purpose of the study, the following tasks were set: to identify the main theoretical aspects of patriotic education of future teachers and its features; to characterize the forms, methods and means conducive to patriotic education of future teachers; to identify pedagogical conditions for patriotic education of future teachers; to develop components for patriotic education of future teachers on the basis of the analysis of scientific literature. In this study, the following research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, analogy, abstraction, the study of psychological and pedagogical literature, questionnaires. The theoretical significance of the work is to comprehend and theoretically revise the problems devoted to patriotic education of future teachers in a university. The essence of patriotic education of young people in modern conditions is presented, which is understood as the formation of a patriotic consciousness (responsible attitude to nature, to oneself, as a whole with nature and society, to the world around and to the Motherland; focus on the value aspect of the formation of patriotism); patriotic behavior (activation of the activity aspect of future teachers), and patriotic feelings. The components of patriotic education are presented: motivational, cognitive, emotional, and activity components. It is concluded that the relevance of this problem is quite acute, and it is necessary to strengthen attention on patriotic education of youth. A survey conducted to study the level of patriotism of future teachers showed that negative qualities such as negativity towards modern political systems; negative attitude to their country; the desire of youth to leave Russia and live in Europe and the USA; highly developed individualism, egoism; disrespect for the older generation prevail in the minds of young people.

The Activities of the Prosecution to Ensure the Rule of Law in the Implementation of State Policy in the Field of Patriotic Education of Young People: Relevance and Problems

Today the issue of Patriotic education of citizens is very important. Part 2 of аrticle 13 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation prohibits to establish any state ideology. To solve this problem in this article, the author bases his conclusions on the theory of “constitutional patriotism” by Jurgen Habermas. The Constitution of the Russian Federation already contains Patriotic norms, fulfilling which a citizen can be called a real patriot. These are articles of the Constitution of the Russian Federation about State symbols of the Russian Federation (part1 of article 70), about the preservation of cultural heritage (part 1). 3 article 44), about the duty to protect theFatherland (part 1 article 59).In preparing this article, the author studied the legal framework of Patriotic education, legally enshrined in 47 laws of the subject of Russian Federation on Patriotic education, the legal framework of Patriotic education, proposed in the Concept of Patriotic education of citizens in the Russian Federation, as well as the legal framework of Patriotic education, set out in the analytical note of the Russian state military historical and cultural center of the Government of the Russian Federation (Rosvoentsentr). Further explored the legal framework of Patriotic education offered in researches of Karpov N. N., Lapteva L. E., Surguladze, V. Sh. and others researchers.On the basis of the obtained results, the legal basis of Patriotic education is proposed and systematized.As a tool of improving of the effectiveness of Patriotic education the author considers the Prosecutor’s supervision. The article proposes to allocate in a separate direction prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of laws on Patriotic education in connection with the national importance of this issue.To date there is no centralized system of Patriotic education in the country, no training of educators in this area has been organized. It requires a detailed analysis of the effectiveness of financial resources allocated to the organization of Patriotic education.Insufficient attention on the part of the subjects of Patriotic education is paid to the territories where there are relevant problems.The active work of prosecutors in this area will ensure an appropriate level of law in the field of Patriotic education.

МИСТЕЦЬКЕ КРАЄЗНАВСТВО ЯК НАУКОВО-ПЕДАГОГІЧНА ПРОБЛЕМА

У статті представлено системний погляд на мистецьке краєзнавство як на цілісне культурне явище й синтезований феномен. На основі науково-проблемного підходу здійснено аналіз, розкрито сутність та зміст понять «краєзнавство», «шкільне краєзнавство», «педагогічне краєзнавство», а також понять «музичне краєзнавство» та «мистецьке краєзнавство» як невід’ємної складової краєзнавчої науки й цілісного культурного феномену Волинського краю. З’ясовано роль музичного краєзнавства, як складника мистецького краєзнавства та важливої складової національно-патріотичного виховання молоді, що є стратегічним завданням української держави й головним напрямом освітньої виховної роботи в підготовці педагогів усіх мистецьких спеціальностей у вищому навчальному закладі. Виокремлено педагогічні аспекти краєзнавства як основи мистецького краєзнавства та фундаменту української етнопедагогіки, народознавства й національного виховання у діяльності й творчому доробку видатних педагогів та діячів української культури. Музичне краєзнавство розглядаємо у двох аспектах: як наукову галузь й зміст музичної культури краю у краєзнавчому ракурсі та як навчальну дисципліну у вищому навчальному закладі.

Regional Features of Developing Cossack Public Associations in Russia and Main Directions of Their Activity (Based on the Republic of Kalmykia)

Introduction. The article considers the processes of socio-political, ethnocultural revival and the development of the modern Cossacks of Kalmykia. The paper deals with the activities of state authorities in reviving the Cossacks and the role of the Kalmyk Cossacks in the socio-cultural and socio-political processes of the region, interaction of local Cossack associations with Cossack communities not only in the south of Russia, but also in the country as a whole. Methods. The article uses the problem-chronological, historical-genetic, historiographical and source study analysis. Analysis. The author highlights the stages of developing the revival movement of the Kalmyk Cossacks: the first stage is the end of the 1980s and mid 1990s; the second stage is between the mid 1990s and mid 2000s: the third stage is from the mid 2000s until now. The author concludes that the processes of revival of Kalmyk Cossacks have their own specificity and features. First of all, the processes of revival took place outside their traditional territory of residence. Secondly, the union managed to gather immigrants from various hosts – the Don, Astrakhan, Kuban, Orenburg, Ural, Terek ones – in the Kalmyk Cossack district. Thirdly, a distinctive feature is peaceful coexistence of two equal denominations professed by the Kalmyk Cossacks – Buddhism and Orthodoxy. The author notes that the process of forming the Cossacks in the region was influenced both by the all-Russian tendencies of the Cossack revival and by the support of the regional political elite. However, such factors as organization and responsibility of Cossack associations, active citizenship, protecting their corporate interests also played an important role in the processes of revival and developing the Cossacks of the republic. Results. Thus, the Cossacks of Kalmykia became an integral part of the social structure of the republic. The Cossacks actively participate not only in the social and political processes, but also in the sphere of patriotic education of young people, regulating and controlling interethnic and interfaith conflicts in the region. Over the period of its existence, the Cossacks managed to gain prestige, become a significant social and political force in Kalmyk society.

Development of an information model of a virtual space of a historically significant territory

The article examines the questions of creating a virtual space of a historically significant territory as a means of communication and effective civil and patriotic education of young people. The proposed formal description of the model of the virtual space includes the sum of knowledge about a historically significant area (a historical site) presented in the form of a graph structure of frames. The creation of a virtual space in the form of a virtual museum is carried out using an open source software platform OpenSimulator 0.9.0, which is a server platform for 3D virtual worlds. Visualization of the museum is available to all Internet users. Thus, a thematic information environment has been created to provide access to relevant information and contributes to the growth of youth interest in the problems of national culture, history, and civil culture. In addition, an important role is played by the social aspect, as within the virtual world users can interact with others, observe their movements and actions, and communicate with them in real time.

PATRIOTIC EDUCATION AS A COMPONENT OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF A FUTURE SPECIALIST

The urgency of patriotic education of young people is conditioned by the process of formation of the civil society in Ukraine, the formation of a united nation. The ideal of education is a versatile and harmoniously developed, conscious, highly educated, life competent citizen, capable of self-development and self-improvement. Of particular importance in the conditions of integration into the European educational environment are the issues of professional training and education of a competitive specialist during the training of young people. The purpose of theis study is to consider patriotic education as a component of the professional training of a future specialist. To achieve the goal and objectives of the study, a set of methods was used: theoretical: the analysis of normative documentation, psychological and pedagogical literature, materials of conferences and periodical professional publications in order to determine the state of development and prospects of the problem under consideration; comparison of different views of scientists on the problem under investigation; systematisation and generalisation to clarify the concepts of «patriotic education» and «vocational training», disclosure of socio-psychological peculiarities of the development of patriotic qualities of youth; empirical: content analysis of documents – for studying the content and forms of patriotic education of youth as a component of the professional training of a future specialist. It is concluded that the professional training of a future specialist implies not only the development of his / her intellectual and creative abilities, but also the assimilation of the system of universal human, national--patriotic values and concepts that should form the basis of his / her culture.

PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUTH AS A SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL PROCESS

The article is devoted to the study of peculiarities of patriotic education of youth as a social-pedagogical process. The special role of socio-pedagogical foundations of patriotic education in the formation of a person as a citizen is highlighted. The focus is on patriotic education of young people, as in the organized, planned and purposeful process of assimilating the personality of national values and norms of culture aimed at the formation of her civic consciousness. The essence of the socio-pedagogical process, the main purpose of which is the rational organization of educational work aimed at the comprehensive development of the child in the context of a specific society, is revealed. Due to the fact that the socio-pedagogical process is carried out in order to solve the problems of socialization, in its content reflects the specificity of this phenomenon. Socialization can be directly (less meaningful, more uncontrollable) and indirect (meaningful, more manageable) character. It has been found out that the social and pedagogical component of patriotic education of young people helps achieve two goals: the success of socialization of younger generations as patriots and self-development as a subject of activity and as an individual. It is noted that the determinants of external influence on the upbringing of the patriotic qualities of the child's personality are the macro-, mesa- and micro-factors of socialization. It is established that the goal of patriotic education is intertwined with the tasks of socialization and individualization of the personality, which consists in developing the positive human qualities of a young person and promoting its adaptation in public life. It is concluded that the patriotic education of youth as a socio-pedagogical process is one of the important factors of the stabilization of society. The patriotic upbringing of youth can be seen as a process of socially controlling socialization, which is carried out in specially created educational organizations that help develop the capacity of a young person, including her abilities, knowledge, patterns of behavior, values, relationships that are positively valuable to the society in which she lives.

Przygotowanie wojskowe młodzieży szkolnej i obozy letnie przysposobienia wojskowego ogólnego męskiego na Pomorzu pod koniec lat dwudziestych i w latach trzydziestych XX wieku

In the first part of the article, the purpose of which is to introduce the subject matter to the reader, the author has made a brief description of the changes aimed at popularizing civil defense training in educational institutions in the second half of the 1920s and 1930s. A general outline of the institutions responsible for the defense training of the young generation has been presented, and a characteristics of the objectives and tasks in the preparation of young people in this field in school scout troops has been made. The author has also discussed the organizational structure of the school scout troops of civil defense, and briefly presented the curriculum for the different civil defense ranks. However, the core of the publication concerns general civil defense summer camps. In short subsections, basing mainly on archival sources, the author has attempted to present the issues related to the organization and course of these camps in Pomerania. Recruitment methods and requirements for camp participants have been described in the article. The author has presented the organizational structure of the civil defense summer camps, the military training they covered, the daily agenda and disciplinary requirements. He also described the role of civilian counsellors and educators in the process of patriotic education of young people, as well as the final exams for the 2nd rank in civil defense.

The historical memory of the Great Patriotic War for over 75 years is still an important event in the historical memory of nations. The experience of the participation of men and women in the war, the experience of overcoming the difficulties of the military everyday life, accumulated by the generation of that time, seems relevant not only from research positions, but also from practical positions. It can serve as an example of overcoming the harsh trials of war, both by men and women. The memory of the past war is still one of the factors of the patriotic education of young people on the heroic examples of older generations, including such legendary personalities as Khiuaz Dospanova.The gender approach in historical research allows us to include in the research field a large number of new topics that have not attracted the attention of historians for a long time, which makes history richer and more diverse, allows it to include all groups of the population, makes history truly universal and popular. This article attempts to uncover the elders of the war with the participation of women in the wake of Hiuaz Dospanova’s memories.

Феноменологічна редукція ідеї підготовки учителя фізичної культури для виховання патріотичних цінностей

The article takes into account the fact that Ukraine is moving towards the perception of industrial, social and economic conditions for the development of post-industrial relations. The ideological and cultural platform of patriotic education of young people depends on the processes of the formation of economic stability caused by the capitalization of relations. This requires the introduction of transitional means of logistics, management and marketing in all spheres of life and livelihoods. Therefore, the emphasis is shifted to the development, formation and affirmation of pedagogical thought for a phenomenon that is at the stage of what is called a transitional one, in which the ideological and patriotic values of a socialist nature are dynamically replaced by market relations. It is recommended in the personality of a physical education teacher to develop and maintain the general features of a teacher, which are the foundations of professional and pedagogical culture, as well as features of democracy, aesthetics, creativity, cumulativeness, self-realization, synergy, co-creation, social choice of communicative skills, developing technologies and self-regulation of emotions. Their multitude allows to bring knowledge to practical application in the environment of future specialists in physical culture. Artificial conditions for success are created by state-distributive, national-economic and socio-economic systems operating on the motives of communication relations and the mentalities of the population of individual territories. A toolkit for the perception of innovation is formed by the sciences related to the development of entrepreneurial function in young people. The existing readiness of young people to socially assert themselves as individuals activates objective, and building an adequate educational space is a subjective factor of patriotic value. Organic incorporation into the context of science of innovative thinking allows you to move along pedagogical phenomena and their value-semantic content. The teacher of physical culture in their actions moves according to a number of phenomena and dogmas, He must – 1) have knowledge of the specialty, 2) be guided by tolerant patience in discussions, 3) be prepared for the perception and support of the innovative type of life activity, 4) have the technical means of pedagogical support, 5) keep the thirst for renewal of knowledge. According to this self-fulfilling mentality scheme, it is constructive, it receives a set of opportunities that will allow it: a) to be competitive in the stratification of public education, b) to transfer knowledge to pupils who must enter a productive and productive stage in a postindustrial society in a timely manner, c) use value – semantic content on the patriotic basis of criticality and ideological.

The Structure of Urban Identity of the Volgograd Youth

The article presents the results of an empirical study of the structure of urban identity of young people. The relevance of the study is due to the fragmentary scientific knowledge of the concept of urban identity and the significant role of this phenomenon for the competent formation of the brand and image of the city. The practical implication of the study is mediated by the influence of the content and specificity of the formation of urban identity on the idea of a person's psychological and economic well-being within a certain place of residence, satisfaction with the quality of life, the level of tolerance and the characteristics of migration behavior. We based the empirical study on a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection revealing the semantic nature of the phenomenon of identity. The ratio and content of the main components of urban identity was measured with the help of questionnaires and psycho-semantic methods: the method "Who I am" by M. Kuhn and T. Mcpartland in the adaptation of T.V. Rumyantseva; method of writing compositions on the theme "My city"; a technique of unfinished sentences; questionnaire for collecting factual data, including the factors according to M. Lalli. The data obtained we processed through content analysis and descriptive statistics. As a result, the author described the main components of urban identity in the indigenous, living in Volgograd since birth, and nonindigenous residents of Volgograd – cognitive, emotional, motivational and behavioral. We also analyzed the content of the image of the city presented mainly in the minds of the Volgograd youth by the historical heritage of the city and its attractions; defined the attitude to the city, including feelings of different modality – from pride to resentment and anger; stated the features of migration behavior with contradictory content. The results can be taken into account both in the practice of social support of migrants, in the creation of programs of Patriotic education of young people, and in the process of creating a competent brand of Volgograd.

Efficiency improvement of the authorities personnel potential concerning measures implementing in the sphere of the national and patriotic education of youth

It is determined in the article that under the modern conditions the necessity of developing methodological practice support of state authorities in the sphere of national and patriotic education of young people becomes urgent. An analysis of the problem field of the formation and implementation of the policy of national and patriotic education is conducted and a methodology for raising the skill level of the employees of state authorities, local governments for the purpose of effective organization and implementation of measures for national and patriotic education at the local level is provided. The basic specified requirements of the organization of the national and patriotic education should be attributed: conducting of the national and patriotic education of young people on a systematic basis; ensuring the planned nature of the national and patriotic education; coordinating of the state authorities activity, local government bodies and public organizations in the field of national and patriotic education; permanent searching for new directions, forms and methods of the national and patriotic education of youth; skill developing of persons involved in the processes of the national and patriotic education.The author believes that in present-day conditions, the readiness and ability of the state to pursue the policy of the national and patriotic education of young people depend primarily on its position and responses to a number of topical issues. Firstly, it is the definition of semantic concepts of national and patriotic education as a priority task of the state authorities with embodying the aspirations of millions of Ukrainians to preserve the independence and territorial integrity of the state. Secondly, it is awareness that today the processes of the national and patriotic education require more universal approaches. Thirdly, it is a definition of the semantic space and the interaction nature of the state bodies and civil society institutions in the statement and solution of vital problems for the country.Another current issue is the problem differentiation of the national and patriotic education into its constituent elements on different grounds and a more in-depth study of them.

PROVISIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONAL CENTER OF SPIRITUAL-MORAL AND PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUTH

The publication presents the basic prerequisites for the creation of a center for spiritual, moral and patriotic education of young people as a factor in improving the quality of social and economic processes. Recommendations on the structure of this center are presented taking into account the studies carried out based on modern methods of intelligent modeling. Interrelation of expected results of activity of such center and the basic tasks which are necessary for providing with performance is shown.

<p>Несмотря на то что в России активно используется патриотическая риторика, а на официальном уровне осуществляются программы по патриотическому воспитанию молодежи, у граждан нет четкого понимания, какой именно патриотизм им предлагается. Отечественные ученые либо точно так же настаивают на необходимости патриотического воспитания, либо обращаются к проблеме с точки зрения прикладной социологии. Автор обсуждает многогранные теоретические аспекты патриотизма, рассматривая, в каких дискурсивных контекстах про патриотизм спорят современные социальные философы и политические теоретики, выделяет несколько моделей «патриотического проекта», отстаиваемых социальными философами, несмотря на критику и осуждение патриотической идеи.</p><p>На примере российских реалий автор соотносит отечественную патриотическую риторику с теми выводами, к которым уже пришли мыслители и ученые на Западе. Вместо того чтобы делать акцент в патриотическом воспитании на конструировании внешних врагов и на милитаризации, официальная пропаганда может позаимствовать отстаиваемые «конституционным патриотизмом» принципы — любовь не просто к стране, но уважение к закону, к сложившимся демократическим институтам, желание поучаствовать в формировании гражданского общества и т. д. Настоящее исследование — не столько попытка восполнить этот пробел, сколько намерение перевести научную дискуссию на новый, теоретический уровень.</p>

The Performing Art of Bandura Players in Volyn as a Source of National Identity Formation

Purpose. The research is related to the study of bandura artist performances and the identification of means of their influencing the public in the region, based on the overview and analysis of concert programmes of the groups and of publications in the press. The methodology of research is to combine the sociological method used in the process of interviewing representatives of bandura art, and a descriptive method for the concert activity analysis of individual performers and bands of bandura players. Results and conclusions. The influence of social and cultural realities on the progressive development of bandura art in Volyn is emphasized. It has been proved that the performing art of bandura players is characterised by an educational and patriotic mission, namely the promotion of the best samples of elevated spiritual musical and poetic heritage, the popularisation of T. Shevchenko and Lesya Ukrainka’s works, as well as works of heroic and patriotic orientation (dumas, historical songs, striletski and guerilla songs), folklore melos. It was clarified that in various historical periods the performance of bandura players encouraged Volynians to preserve and develop spiritual traditions and cultural heritage, having become the means of spiritual enrichment of the Volyn community, the intention of the idea of national self-establishment. It has been found that bandura performance is a significant factor in the patriotic education of young people, which is especially important in the process of forming the national priorities of modern young generation and that will in some way affect the content and structure of the values of Ukrainian society in the future.

The article describes the possibility of using the social and cultural activities in institutes of higher education and there is identified its impact on patriotic upbringing of modern youth; is considered the value and actuality of patriotic education of young people is examined ; there are determined pedagogical conditions, optimizing the process of patriotic education; it is tested the systematic work, directed to the formation of patriotic feelings of modern youth. Modern social and cultural paradigm of Russia requires increasing the level of patriotic upbringing of youth. To educate deserved young generations and responsible citizens of the country, who will be able to prove themselves as in rotecting their motherland, as in the peace labour, to educate moral, educated, cultural, tolerant people who know and respect their culture, you need to form spiritual and moral qualities of a personality, to educate ethical standards, to develop patriotic attitude and involvement. In this regard, the attention to theoretical and empirical problems of patriotic upbringing is increasing today. So it is especially important to form the attitude to our Motherland basing not so much on its military power, but on emphasising the works by outstanding domestic architects, poets, artists, musicians, glorifying the identity of the Russian culture, the beauty of Russian cities, the power and the depth of the culture, impersonated in folklore and spiritual heritage of Great Patriotic War. With the aim of identifying the formation level of patriotic feelings of modern youth there was made a study among students Volgograd state institute of arts and culture and arts. The work on the formation of patriotism with historically and commemorativly oriented means of social and cultural activity means was organized. The results of the study and the total of the work are presented in the article.

ПАТРИОТИЧЕСКОЕ ВОСПИТАНИЕ МОЛОДЕЖИ В ОБЩЕСТВЕННОЙ ОРГАНИЗАЦИИ "ДИНАМО": ИСТОРИЯ И СОВРЕМЕННОСТЬ

The activity of society “Dynamo” in historical and modern aspects in solving the problem of patriotic education of youth as one of the fundamental tasks of the modern Russian state is considered. It is shown that throughout the public organization “Dynamo” history through the active involvement of children to a healthy lifestyle forms the younger generation of an active life position, the desire for physical development, sports achievements for the glory of Russia. The essence of the organization society “Dynamo”, designed along with other tasks to strengthen the physical and spiritual health of Russian citizens of different age groups, using a variety of organizational forms and health-saving technologies is revealed. We show the aspect of coaching work with the younger generation, in which special attention is paid to the patriotic education of young people and teenagers seeking sports achievements. Within the modern structure of the society “Dynamo” the system and quality of sports training in its divisions are analyzed. Traditionally the results are checked in the course of numerous competitions. The importance of Spartakiads and competitions of “Dynamo” society in patriotic education of young people, which encourage the desire for health, strength, beauty, readiness to defend the sports honor of Russia in the athletes, is shown.

The article examines the role of libraries in Russian society using the example of Ufa, the multi-ethnic capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan. This role was found not to be great, as approximately 10% of the total population of the city use library services. Readers in interviews admit that visits to the library are most often done out of necessities related to study; there was practically no mention of libraries as a place of leisure. Despite the efforts of those working to popularize reading and the fitting-out of libraries with computers with internet access, libraries cannot be considered “trendy places”. Nevertheless, libraries in Ufa are striving to keep up with the times. The orientation of readers is done through organized clubs for certain interests (family, information and leisure, artistic, regional and others), forums, competitions, offers etc. The article attempts to explain the potential of libraries in forming the identities of those who use this information channel. To achieve this, the author conducted an analysis of the websites of Ufa libraries in 2017, which demonstrated a diversity in events arranged based on Russian and Bashkir identities. The themes of meetings organized by library employees were defined by current events, such as: state and local holidays, authors’ birthdays, book presentations etc. The analysis shows that the themes of library events were mostly oriented around the military and patriotic education of young people. Of the many topics discussed in libraries, of particular significance to Russian multi-ethnic society is the facilitation of inter-cultural dialog by means of readers becoming acquainted with the achievement of different cultures. Regarding the hierarchy of formed identities, Russian and Bashkiri identities proved to be the most-mentioned. Tatar culture was not represented to a comparable degree in library events in Russia and Bashkiria. Little focus was placed at these events on religious identities (Muslim, Orthodox etc.).
