Наведено дані дослідження клінічної ефективності та безпеки препарату Мускомед у лікуванні спастичності в пацієнтів у відновному періоді ішемічного мозкового інсульту.

Research on characteristics of brain functional network in stroke patients during convalescent period under transcranial direct current stimulation

Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is an emerging non-invasive brain stimulation technique. However, the rehabilitation effect of tDCS on stroke disease is unclear. In this paper, based on electroencephalogram (EEG) and complex network analysis methods, the effect of tDCS on brain function network of stroke patients during rehabilitation was investigated. The resting state EEG signals of 31 stroke rehabilitation patients were collected and divided into stimulation group (16 cases) and control group (15 cases). The Pearson correlation coefficients were calculated between the channels, brain functional network of two groups were constructed before and after stimulation, and five characteristic parameters were analyzed and compared such as node degree, clustering coefficient, characteristic path length, global efficiency, and small world attribute. The results showed that node degree, clustering coefficient, global efficiency, and small world attributes of brain functional network in the tDCS group were significantly increased, characteristic path length was significantly reduced, and the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.05). It indicates that tDCS can improve the brain function network of stroke patients in rehabilitation period, and may provide theory and experimental basis for the application of tDCS in stroke rehabilitation treatment.

In vivo experiments to determine the efficiency of the elementary status correction

The article is about the determination of the elementary factors and common elementary human statuses. To assess the effectiveness of the developed therapeutic and prophylactic preparations the analysis of biomedical research products, using weight and growth features, and hematological and biochemical parameters, is given. During the experiment the appearance and behavior of the animals, their appetite and the mass indexes change were controlled. To examine the acute toxicity the investigated product was put into stomachs of white mice and white rats males by the stomach pump. The growing dose could be lethal for most animals within 15 days. The preparation was diluted with the 0,5 cm3 distilled water for the mice and 2 cm 3 for the rats. During the experiment the animals were pithed to estimate the hematology and biochemical indicators of their collected blood. The researches helps to conclude that the developed preparation has obvious anti-anemic effects, does not affect the animal’s health, is a low-toxic chemical substance – 4-th class of toxicity, does not have allergic, embryologic, teratogenic and skin-resorptive features, the accumulation level is weak. Feeding the animals with the preparation did not show any violations of the organs, tissues and the body system. The preparation positively affects the metabolic processes and weight gain of the white rats. The developed anti-anemic preparation is biologically valued. It has high consumer qualities; mass fraction of protein and iron, vitamins and other essential nutrients. The technologies allow producing a wide range of preparation for the children, pregnant and lactating women, patients in rehabilitation period and people affected the harmful factors in accidents at the industrial enterprises, living in risk areas and working in therapeutic and preventive medicine, suffering from iron-deficiency anemia.

Study on the application of work shop in health education model in rehabilitation period of cerebral infarction

Objective To explore the application of work shop in health education in the rehabilitation period of cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 44 patients with cerebral infarction from January to June 2016 were selected as the observation group, they were given work shop in health education. Then 40 patients with cerebral infarction from July to December 2015 were selected as the control group, and they were given routine health education. The health knowledge mastery, rehabilitation and health education satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results The knowledge rate of health education knowledge in knowledge of disease medicine, placement of good limb position, limb function training, medication was respectively 97.37%(43/44), 93.18%(41/44), 95.45%(42/44), 95.45%(42/44) in the observation group and 82.50%(33/40), 77.50%(31/40), 77.50%(31/40), 77.50%(31/40) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.01-5.94, P<0.05). The satisfaction of health education in health education skills, communication skills, service attitude was respectively 97.73%(43/44), 100.00%(44/44), 97.73%(43/44) in the observation group and 82.50%(33/40), 82.50%(33/40), 82.50%(33/40) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.01, 6.27, 4.01, P<0.05). The level of compliance, demand, compatibility score was (8.32±1.34), (8.45±1.21), (8.38±1.29) points in the observation group and (5.89±1.74), (5.64±1.53), (5.76±1.35) points in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (t=2.42, 2.74, 2.35, P<0.05). Conclusions Work shop in health education can increase the health knowledge of patients in rehabilitation period of cerebral infarction, and improve the enthusiasm of health education and rehabilitation training satisfaction. POSTINFECTIOUS ASTHENIA IN TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS RECONVALESCENTS AND WAYS OF ITS ARRESTING

Aim. To study the influence of adamantilbromphenylamine on the degree of postinfectious somatogenic asthenia in tick-borne encephalitis reconvalescents. Materials and methods. Clinical examination of 64 tick-borne encephalitis reconvalescents with postinfectious somatogenic asthenia was performed. Group I - 34 persons received adamantilbromphenylamine in the dose of 100 mg during 25 days. Group II - 30 persons under observation without drug therapy. Before and after treatment all reconvalescents were examined using the following methods: visual analogous asthenia scale, hospital anxiety and depression scale in general somatic practice, questionnaire for revealing vegetative changes, questionnaire for score subjective sleep disturbance estimation. Results. After adamantilbromphenylamine therapy, a reliable fall in scores by visual analogous scale was detected: in group I this index decreased by 2.5 times, in group II - only 1,4 times. Against the background of drug intake there was observed a significant decrease in indices of emotional-personal disorders, reduction in manifestation of vegetative disorders, normalization of sleep indices. Conclusions. Adamantilbromphenylamine can be recommended to patients in rehabilitation period after tick-borne encephalitis with residual effects in the form of postinfectious somatogenic asthenia.

Complementary therapeutic effects of definite alternating electromagnetic fields upon local regulating mechanism of microcirculation

Objective In the context of several studies conform to GCP should be evaluated to what extent definite alternating electromagnetic fields effect in prophylactic use or increase the effect of conventional treatment plans in case of additional complementary use. Materials and methods The evaluation contained 2 random samples—each n=24, divided into 2 subgroups (Control and True) over a 30-day observation resp. treatment period. One sample consisted of elderly patients in rehabilitation period and the other sample consisted of stress-exposed middle-aged people. The main target parameters were the representative functional characteristics of microcirculation, metabolic parameters and the immunologic characteristics of leucocytes in subcutaneous or intestinal target tissues. The methods of measurement consisted of intravitalmicroscopic exploration unit with secondary computer-assisted image processing, intravitalmicroscopic reflexionspectrometry, combined laser-microflow and white-light spectrometry. For the biometric data evaluation the Wilcoxon test (a=5%) was used. In addition comparative evaluations of the effect of several other magnetic or electromagnetic fields from different pulse configurations and intensities were performed. Results After application of definite alternating electromagnetic fields with special pulse configuration to stimulate spontaneous arteriolar vasomotion (BEMER Plus System), elderly patients in rehabilitation period verified during the observation period an increase of the spontaneous arteriolar vasomotion by 20% compared to Control. In stress-exposed middle-aged people the value of increase is slightly lower combined with extended fade characteristics. Furthermore similar significant changes of characteristics have been detected about condition of blood distribution within the microvascular networks, the venular disposal, the venular oxygen utilisation and the immunologic characteristics of leucocytes. In contrast, other extremely weak alternating magnetic fields with constant intermittency showed significant lower effect on the characteristics of microcirculation. Weak static magnetic fields showed no effect on characteristics of microcirculation. Conclusion The evaluated effect of definite alternating electromagnetic fields with special pulse configuration to stimulate spontaneous arteriolar vasomotion (BEMER Plus System) on the microcirculation and the immunologic system is relevant concerning prophylactic and complementary therapeutic use.
