TARI SEBIMBING SEKUNDANG SEBAGAI TARI PENYAMBUTAN TAMU DI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU SUMATERA SELATAN

This article examines the form of Seguid Sekundang dance presentation in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra. Problems regarding form are discussed using the theory of R.M Soedarsono in the book Diktat Pengantar Pengetahuan dan Komposisi Tari. This article uses a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis. The collection of data and information is done by observing or observing the object of research, interviews, and literature studies. Sebimbing Sekundang dance was made at the request of Regent Ogan Komering Ulu as as guest welcome dance in 1971. This dance is the result of observations in several sub-districts in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency by combining various cultural forms, especially traditional dance from five tribes (Daye, Komering, Ogan, Ranau, and Semende) in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency.This dance uses properties of a fan, tepak sirih, umbrella, and spear. However, it is the use of distinguishes this dance from the welcoming dance in South Sumatera. The music accompanying the Sebimbing Sekundang dance is another song entitled Ribu-Ribu originating from the Ogan area. Then the arrangement itself by Z. Khusni Karana became the music to accompany the Sebimbing Sekundang dance. Local-adapted and high-yield varieties for sustainable Robusta coffee farming: Evidence from South Sumatera, Indonesia

Climate change causes an adverse impact on the coffee plantation as it directly influences the productivity and quality of coffee products. For the adaptation strategy, using superior variety is often considered an important step because it has potential attributes such as high yield and quality, and is more tolerant to certain environmental shocks. This study aims to analyze the environmental adaptability and financial feasibility of local Robusta coffee varieties. This study used data from field observations, surveys, and interviews of key informants in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatera, Indonesia from 2018-2021. Data were analyzed descriptively. Results showed that three local clones have high adaptability in the study site, even in a high precipitation rate. The varieties are financially feasible to be adopted by farmers, even though on a small scale. Sensitivity analysis with the scenario of decreasing the yield or increasing operational cost as the impact of climate variability about 10 percent showed the lower feasibility indicators (NPV, IRR, and Net B/C), but still higher than the minimum threshold so that still feasible and profitable for farmers. Hence, the three local clones are the potential to be developed for sustainable Robusta coffee plantations.

The development of teaching materials based on problem solving exploration with microsoft kaizala applications

The effectiveness of implementing online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has not been satisfactory in terms of problem-solving abilities. The presentation of teaching materials presented in the online platforms used has not been able to identify the extent of student understanding in problem-solving exploration. Therefore, this research aims to produce Kaizala teaching materials based on problem-solving exploration. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model was used in this research to produce these teaching materials. The subjects of this research trial were grade VIII junior high school students in a public school in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, Palembang. The choice of the place for this research was based on the fact that the mathematics learning carried out at the school was by utilizing social media platforms. The instruments used in this research consisted of validation sheets of material, language, presentation, and problem-solving integration, a questionnaire on the practicality of teaching materials, and a problem-solving ability test to assess the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. The results showed that: (1) the developed teaching materials were in the valid criteria; (2) the practicality of the developed teaching materials are at very high and high criteria; (3) The developed teaching materials also meet the criteria of effectiveness, whereas many as 82 percent of the test subjects obtained a score of not less than 75 and the effect size value belongs to the large category. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are suitable for supporting and facilitating students in problem-solving exploration activities.

The Effect of Managerial Supervision and Work Motivation on Improving Principal's Performance

This study focuses on the problem of the Effect of Managerial Supervision and Work Motivation on the Performance Improvement of the Principal of SMA Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research used questionnaire and documentation, and it is concluded that managerial supervision has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Managerial supervision has a value that is greater than the coefficient of work motivation variable. This indicates that the influence of managerial supervision variables tends to be greater in influencing employee performance than the work motivation variable, and the work motivation variable also has a positive influence on employee performance. The results of the simple regression analysis show that the t-test results are also statistically significant. It can be seen that there is a significant effect of managerial supervision and employee motivation on employee performance variables. The significant effect of this hypothesis can be seen through the F test. If F-count is greater than F-table, the independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable.

Mapping of Kobura Coffee Sensory Attributes Based on Differences in Harvesting and Processing Methods at Farmers Level

In general, Kobura coffee farmers in South Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) harvest coffee with the criteria of red fruit and a mixture of red and green, while the processing method is a dry process. However, the sensory attributes of these activities are not yet known. This study aims to map the sensory qualities of Kobura coffee at the farmer level based on differences in harvesting and processing methods. The research was carried out in Banding Agung District, South OKU Regency, and the Coffee and Cocoa Bioindustry Laboratory, Balittri, Sukabumi, from March to December 2019. The design used was a completely randomized design with 3 treatment factors and two replications. The first factor was three clones of Kobura coffee (Kobura 1, 2, 3), the second factor was two harvesting methods (red and mix of red + green fruit), and the third factor is two processing methods (dry and wet). The variable observed were the sensory attributes analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance, principal component analysis, cluster analysis, and path analysis. The results showed that the harvesting and processing methods of Kobura coffee at the farmer level in South OKU did not significantly affect the sensory. Furthermore, each cluster's harvesting and processing methods were evenly distributed because the proportion between red and green fruit was not clearly identified in the mixed fruit harvest. Superior genetic and optimal altitude factors make Kobura coffee categorized into Fine Robusta with a final score of 81.13-85.75. The final score is directly and dominantly influenced by mouthfeel (body), flavor, overall, and fragrance, respectively.

In theprocess of advancing and developing tanjung Baru village assets nowhave village owned enterprises (BUMDes). Business entities that arebeing developed are BUMDes Tourism Village, Soundsytem / OrgenServices, and Buffet Services, chairs and tents. But nowadays theseassets seem difficult to progress and develop. In fact, if it can bemaximized properly then the BUMDes can prosper all staff and villagegovernment devices.

IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN VAKSINASI COVID-19 DI KAB. OGAN KOMERING ULU

To reduce the number of Covid-19 cases, in addition to carrying out health protocols, it is necessary to carry out special protective measures, namely vaccination. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination policy in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, with a theoretical approach Implementation policy of George C. Edward III viewed from 4 aspects. 1) Communication: Communication in the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination policy in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency has gone well, both in terms of transmission and clarity. But there are inconsistencies in the requirements for vaccine recipients, which can confuse the public. 2) Resources: Human resources, budgetary resources, equipment resources and authority resources, although the numbers are still lacking, they are adequate and have good performance. 3) Disposition: The implementer of the Covid-19 vaccination policy who is highly dedicated and has skill standards has been selectively selected in the implementation of the vaccination policy in Kab. OKU. However, the provision of incentives is not balanced with the number of personnel implementing vaccinations in the field. 4) Bureaucratic Structure: the vaccination policy in OKU District uses the bureaucratic structure of OKU District Health Office. In its implementation, it already has an SOP, and with a wide area coverage, more intensive coordination is needed, so that the Covid-19 vaccination policy in Kab. OKU can be implemented properly.

The objective of this research was to examine the effects of creativity, innovation, and promotion variables as determinants of culinary business success in the Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) regency. The research design was survey research with a quantitative approach. The population of this research consisted of culinary businesses in the OKU regency. The analytical method used was multiple regression. The conclusion of this research showed that creativity, innovation, and promotion variables had significant effects on the success of the culinary business in the OKU regency. Analisis Perilaku Masyarakat dalam Pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue di Puskesmas Tanjung Baru Ogan Komering Ulu Tahun 2021

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a disease caused by the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito which can cause illness and death. The purpose of this study was to find out what factors were related to community behavior in preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever. The design of this study was Cross Sectional. The population in this study is the community who seek treatment at the Tanjung Baru Health Center, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2021. The sampling method in this study uses the purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study was determined by using the Lemeshow formula, totaling 35 respondents. Data collection by using a questionnaire. The results of the statistical analysis of respondents using the Chi-Square test showed that there was a significant relationship (p 0.05) for age (P Value 0.115), attitude (P Value 0.251), use of insect repellent (P Value 0.283) and staff support. (P Value 0.27). From the results of the multivariate analysis, the dominant factor on community behavior in preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever, was the cleanliness of the home environment (P Value 0.022) (OR 0.17). This research , it is hoped that the Puskesmas will provide counseling about dengue hemorrhagic fever, conduct regular fogging in an effort to prevent dengue fever and optimally implement programs related to infectious diseases

PENILAIAN KINERJA KARYAWAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE BEHAVIORALLY ANCHOR RATING SCALE DI PENGANDONAN KECAMATAN ULU OGAN KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU (STUDI KASUS PADA PT. BARUS FAMILLY JAYA)

This study aims to determine the performance appraisal using the behaviorally anchor rating scale method in Pengandonan, Ulu Ogan District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (Case Study at PT. Barus Familly Jaya). Data analysis technique using behaviorally anchor rating scale method. Based on the results of research and processed data, it can be said that employee performance appraisal using the Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale method can be said from respondents who have been given questionnaires and performance appraisals that have been summed and summed through the employee performance appraisal process are currently effective, with the Behaviorally Anchor method. Rating Scale of employee work behavior can be seen in detail so as to provide an overview of employee performance over a certain period. Currently, employee performance appraisal using the Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale method can be carried out optimally so that a good employee performance appraisal can be carried out in the future.

Hygiene and Sanitation on Post-Harvest Coffee Processing in the South OKU Regency Comunity (Case Study)

One of the Robusta coffee producing areas in South Sumatera is South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency and it has an area of 70,799 hectares which is spread across 11 sub-districts. This study aims to assess the level of hygiene and sanitation in post-harvest coffee processing, and it was conducted through direct surveys at harvest time and by interviews and questionnaires. Sampling was carried out deliberately, on 30 coffee farmers spread across eleven villages in BPR Ranau Tengah Sub-District. The results showed that the farmers had not yet implemented hygiene and sanitation in post-harvest processing which involved every activity from the picking of the fruit to its storage. At the fruit picking stage, all colors were collected and then dried together without any sorting. The drying stage did not meet the post-harvest coffee processing standards, as it resulted in high water content of the beans, which was between 62,26 ±0,76% and 13,97±0,55. Likewise, the storage process did not meet the hygiene and sanitation standards because not only were the coffee beans put in sacks, they were also stored in poorly ventilated warehouses or storage areas and mixed with other commodities. This predisposed them to fungi contamination. Two ocratoxin producing fungi, namely, Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus ochraceus were found in processed and stored coffee beans that did not meet hygiene and sanitation standards.

ANALISIS KESENJANGAN KESEJAHTERAAN BURUH TANI SAWAH DI DESA BATU PUTIH KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU

This research is entitled "Gap Analysis of Welfare of Farmers in the Rice Fields in Batu Putih Village, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency". This study aims to determine the factors that occur in the level of disparities in the welfare level of rice field farm workers in Batu Putih Village, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This study uses a simple random sampling method (Simple Random Sampling). Methods of data analysis using Gini ratio and discriminant regression analysis. The results of this study are the factors that influence the disparities in the welfare of rice field farm workers in Batu Putih Village are the income variable (PD) α of 22.7 percent, the education level (TP) α of 0.52 percent, the number of family workers (JKB). α by 13.4 percent and middleman loan (PT) α by 18.6 percent.

THE DESCRIPTION OF IRON LEVELS OF WATER AT INDUSTRIAL HOUSING IN BATURAJA, OGAN KOMERING ULU

Background: In everyday life, humans are very dependent on water and the quality of health is also very much determined by the quality of water used for daily needs. The presence of chemicals substances or contaminants in water (for examples Fe) that exceed the acceptable levels of standard can risk human health. It can cause failure in metabolism (hemochromatosis). Based on the Ministry of Health dictire No.32 year 2017 maximum level of iron allowed in water is 1.0 mg/l. The aim of this descriptive research was to determine the level of Iron in industrial housing water in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu. Methode: The total samples were 15 home water taken by sistematic random sampling. The iron content was measured by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method. The results: showed all the samples were qualified with mean level 0.105227 mg/l, median 0,106000 mg/l, standar deviation 0,0175790 mg/l, the lowest level was 0.0789 mg /l and the highest level was 0.1345 mg/l. all watern samples (100%) met the requirements <1 mg/l and no samples did not meet the requirements >1 mg/l. 14 samples (93.3%) of iron levels in water based on acidity were not qualified <6.5 or> 9 and 1 sample (6.3%) of iron levels in water were qualified = 6.5-9. 15 samples (100%) of water content through distances that meet the requirements. The minimum level of iron is 0.0830 mg /l at a distance of 1- 50 meters and The maximum level of iron 0.1345 mg / l at a distance of 1-50 meters and 1-50 meters. Conclusion: The average level of Fe in Industrial Residential Water in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, meets the quality requirements of environmental health quality standards for water media for sanitation hygiene purposes.

A morphometric analysis for investigation climate impact on settlement in Lengkiti, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, Indonesia

The change in morphological patterns upstream of Ogan River were investigated to analyze land-use and climate change impact on the river meandering. This study aimed to investigate morphological changes of Ogan River in Lengkiti area between 1996 and 2019. Two sets of Landsat areal (1990 and 2016) were used to identify the morphological changes during flood periods. Data analysis used the maximum likelihood approach, t-test and Spearman correlation analysis. The morphometric indicators such as river width (W), meander neck length (L), axis length (A), curvature radius (R), water flow and sinuosity of meander (C) were extracted to identify the morphological pattern of river meandering. Analysis of land-use change used Support Vector Machine (SVM) and kernel function method to interpret the meander parameter change. Ogan River in Lengkiti, such as Batu Kuning and Marga Jaya segments, which have rice field and settlement cover from 1996 to 2019, had been cut off. Cut-off occurred due to landslides that entered river’s body and narrowed riverbed. This fasted river flow even though river discharge was same, caused intensive erosion and sedimentation. The increase in water velocity increased flow power, shortened flow distance and cut-off caused reduced meander’s sinuosity (C).

IMPLEMENTATION OF A GENERAL INTEREST PRINCIPLE OF VILLAGE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT BASED ON ARTICLE 83 LAW NUMBER 6 OF 2014 ABOUT THE VILLAGE (Study of Bumi Agung Wates Village, Way Kanan District)

The problem that exists in Bumi Agung Wates Village, Way Kanan Regency, is the unequal development of village infrastructure. This condition can be seen from the connecting road between Way Kanan Regency and East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, precisely Bumi Agung Wates Village (BAW), Bahuga District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung Province, with badly damaged conditions. The problem of this research is How is the implementation of the principle of orderly public interest in village infrastructure development based on Article 83 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages (Study of Bumi Agung Wates Village Way Kanan District)? and What are the factors inhibiting the implementation of the principle of orderly public interest in the development of village infrastructure based on Article 83 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages (Study of Bumi Agung Wates Village Way Kanan District)? The research method uses a normative and empirical juridical approach. The type of data used is secondary data and primary data. Collecting data through library research and field research. Analysis of the data used is qualitative juridical. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the implementation of the principle of orderly public interest in the development of village infrastructure based on Article 83 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, had not been implemented to the fullest because development in the village of Bumi Agung Wates Way Kanan Regency was only a road in an alley or small road; while the main road has not been developed at all, while the main road is widely used by the community or farmers to transport crops to be brought to the city. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of the principle of order of public interest in the development of village infrastructure based on Article 83 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages are among others the relatively low level of community education and facilities and infrastructure in the form of community work equipment that does not support until the end of physical implementation. As a suggestion from the author, the Way Kanan Regency Government should be able to resolve the problem or the inhibiting factor of the implementation of the principle of public order in the development of village infrastructure based on Article 83 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages in Bumi Agung Wates Village, Bahuga District, Way Kanan Regency. PENGARUH KB SUNTIK 3 BULAN TERHADAP KENAIKAN BERAT BADAN DI POSKESDES KAMPAI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU TAHUN 2020

Data from the World Population Data Sheet in 2013, Indonesia is the 5th country in the world with an estimated population of 249 million. Among ASEAN countries, Indonesia, with the largest area in area, remains the country with the largest population, far above the other 9 member countries (Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia, 2014). This was to determine the effect of 3-month injection of family planning on weight gain in Poskesdes Kampai, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This study used an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who were family planning acceptors at the Poskesdes Kampai, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency for the period August-November 2020 totaling 30 acceptors. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using distribution tables and Chi-Square statistical tests, with a degree of confidence of 95%. In the bivariate analysis, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the effect of 3-month injection family planning on weight gain at the Poskesdes Kampai, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2020. This was proven in the results of the chi-square statistical test p value 0.029 <0.05. There is a significant relationship between the effect of 3-month injection family planning on weight gain at the Poskesdes Kampai, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2020.

The Influence of Leadership Style, Motivation, and Work Discipline against Employee Performance in the Regional Secretariat Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency South Sumatra

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Leadership Style, Motivation, and Work Discipline against Employee Performance in the Regional Secretariat of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra.The research design is based on the study environment, the research is included in the field research design category. Researchers focus attention on phenomena in the field so that direct involvement of researchers is limited to observations as cross-information material obtained from the object. The research location was in the Regional Secretariat of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra, with a total sample of 128 respondents. The analysis technique used: validity and reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test (F test and t test). The results of the analysis state that there is a significant influence on Leadership Style, Motivation and Work Discipline together against employee performance. And partially significant influence of Leadership Style against Employee Performance. Meanwhile, Work Motivation and Discipline partially do not have significant effects against Employee Performance.

Study of the Supply Water Discharge at the Micro Hydro Power Installation

Micro hydro-power plant (MHP) with 10 KW power in Sarwan Sub-village, Merbau Village Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, was installed by the funding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of PT. Pertamina (Persero). It was built to utilize the water potential energy switched into electricity to meet the needs of the people of the Sarwan sub-village. It was also aimed to make Merbau village sustainable-energy independent. One of the supporting factors is the Sarwan river’s flow capacity so that the methodology used in this research tried to reanalyze the existing discharge of the river in Sarwan village. This study analyzed the discharge in July with the dry season intensity of 46.6 mm, and the discharge obtained was 0.496 m/sec so that the Pin was 12.18 Kw, and Pout was 8.47 kW with the energy demand by the people of Sarwan village amounting to 4.81 kW. This means that MHP in Sarwan village could back up all of the needs of the residents of Sarwan village for electricity for 24 hours, and the optimization of the utilization of MHP in Sarwan village remains potentially developed.
