Purpose: The main objective of this study was to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and pediatric residents in Izmir, Turkey, regarding the HPV vaccination. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional survey study was conducted in five hospitals in Izmir, Turkey, between May and July 2019. The data for this study were obtained from 299 pediatric and 126 OB/GYN residents via an online web-based questionnaire. The statistical analyses were performed using SPSS®. Results: The overall participation rate was 72%. Only 25.2% of the participating residents demonstrated adequate knowledge about the HPV vaccine. The OB/GYN residents had significantly higher knowledge scores than the pediatric residents (median [IQR] = 9.4 [8.4-10.6] vs. 8.4 [7.4-9.8], p=0.007).
