The rapid development of multimedia social systems makes the exchange and the share of the information between users more and more convenient. At the same time, it also makes that the multimedia social systems have complexity characteristic. Hence the traditional object-oriented analysis methods have been not able to suit this kind of saturation. This paper analyzes the complexity of social multimedia systems and proposes that the complexity performance of multimedia social systems includes the structure level, interactive behaviors and behavioral unpredictability. We also take an example to explain the shortcomings of the traditional object-oriented analysis method for solving the analysis and the design of complex systems. Based on this complexity analysis, we introduce the information entropy and propose an evaluation method for identifying the core and potential factors which have important influence on the operation of the whole multimedia social system. Finally, some simulation experiments and result analysis are given to our proposed framework. Both theoretical analysis and numerical simulations show that the proposed framework is a simple and effective new method to find out the core components within this kind of multimedia social system. The new program could realize a good user platform for achieving a high security and meanwhile meeting the user terminal platform privacy protection requirements. Therefore, this paper presents a new method to improve the security of multimedia social systems.
