The study was carried out to determine the nutritional knowledge levels, habits, behaviors and related factors of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation department students. 220 students (female:149, male:71) studying at the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department participated in the study voluntarily. A questionnaire including demographic questions such as age, gender, body mass index and habits, as well as questions evaluating nutritional information, habits and behaviors, was applied to the participants. Nutritional habits and behavior and the mother's profession (p=0.021), smoking (p=0.009), the amount of cigarettes smoked (p=0.012), the amount of alcohol (p=0.036) and regular sports/physical activity (p=0.000), a significant relationship was found. A significant relation was found between nutritional knowledge level and maternal profession (p=0.031) and regular sports/physical activity (p=0.026). In addition, a significant relationship was found between nutritional knowledge levels and nutritional habits and behaviors (p=0.000). Effective and continuous nutrition education is required for the taught knowledge to be transformed into behavior; habits are thought to be effective on nutritional habits and behaviors. Increasing the number of studies to be carried out in this area will contribute to the establishment of standardizations for improving nutrition education.
