Hybrid composites possess special features and it can be used to reach specific design requirements in one or many ways than the non-hybrid composites. They have many advantages over normal conventional composites including balanced strength and stiffness. The intention of the current research work is to analyze the mechanical properties of the hybrid composite. The development and characterization of hybrid composites consists of glass fiber, jute fiber, sisal fiber, epoxy resin and silicon carbide is described in the current work. Hand lay-up approach has been followed to prepare three different hybrid composites combinations and these composites are in the form of plate. In each combination Silicon Carbide percentages is varied (0%, 5%, and 10%). The result proofs that incorporation of Silicon carbide (SiC) particulate fillers has significant effects on impact energy, flexural and tensile strength of the composites and it is noticed that flexural strength increases as filler material increases and is found maximum for 10% SiC filled G-J-E composites.
