Application of K-Means Clustering to Monitoring the level of Fertilizer Usage in Rice Fields in Ngawi Regency

Fertilizer is a substance given to plants that could be food for plants. Fertilizer itself divided into two types, that is inorganic fertilizers and organic fertilizer. Fertilizer is very important to the needs of farmers, especially farmers. Therefore fertilizer needs should be able to in monitoring in order not to occur lack. The purpose of this study is a grouping of the use of fertilizer in every town in the districts of Ngawi with k-Means algorithm. The formulation of the problem to overcome is how to apply the method of k-means algorithm to categorize fertilizer needs in every town in the Ngawi. K-means is clustering algorithm where one object can be in group based on data similarities. Clustering results K-means Clustering is seen in the first group high (Cluster 1) contains 6, In the second group medium (Cluster 2) contains 2 sub-districts, while in the third group low (cluster 3rd) contains 11 sub-districts.

WHY ARE FARMERS WILLING TO JOIN PARTNERSHIPS IN ORGANIC RICE? CASE IN NGAWI ORGANIC CENTER COMMUNITY, EAST JAVA

Organic farming is more profitable because of the increasing demand and high product prices. However, it is not easy for farmers to decide on rice farming organically. Farmers faced obstacles such as limited capital, lack of knowledge about organic technology, and no price guarantee for organic farmers who have not been certified organic. It is necessary to develop some policies such as institutions. A partnership is one of the institution's solutions for farmers to increase their willingness to join organic rice farming. This research was conducted in Ngawi Regency, East Java, from March 2020. Ngawi Organic Center Community (KNOC) is a partner institution with experience in pioneering and fostering organic farmers. The research aims to analyze (1) the factors that influence organic rice farmers for decision-making partnership; (2, the mechanism of organic rice partnership; and (3) the benefits farmers get from the partnership. Logistic Regression used to analyze the factors that influence the farmers' decisions. Descriptive analysis is used to investigate the mechanism of organic rice partnership between organic rice farmers and KNOC. The descriptive analysis also describes the benefits of partnerships received by farmers. The study results show that farming experience, land area and frequency of extension significantly affect farmers' decision making. The organic rice partnership mechanism regulated in a written contract, with the Agribusiness Operational Cooperation partnership pattern. The high price of organic rice is the most profitable partnership benefit for farmers (81,67%).

Strategi Pengembangan Pariwisata di Kabupaten Ngawi, Jawa Timur

The tourism development strategies are important to support the existence of tourism in the future which is one of the supporting sectors of the economy. In Ngawi Regency, East Java Povince, the tourism development strategy is carried out by the Ngawi Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. This institution was formed to support the Ngawi Regency government in the fields of tourism, youth and sports. This research was conducted to find out the tourism development strategy in Ngawi Regency and the obstacles and supporting factors in the process of implementing the tourism development strategy in Ngawi Regency by the Ngawi Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. This research is a qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through interviews, observation and document study. Informants were selected purpsosively. Tringulation has employed for data validation. Data analysis is carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results show that the tourism development strategy in Ngawi Regency is carried out through brandin/promotion, human resource development, and inprovemnet and management of the tourism facility and infrastructure. In addition, there are factors supporting the development of Ngawi tourism, namely the quality and quantity of sufficient employees, the existence of many events, the support from other parties, and sufficient funds. Meanwhile, the existence of tourism in other areas is a challenge in developing Ngawi tourism.

Strengthening the Role of Crafts as the Economic Drivers of Rural Communities in Sumberejo Village

Sumberejo Village is a village located in Sine sub-district, Ngawi Regency. Which is in a mountainous area. Dusun Ngasem itself has many assets in terms of community or social group, nature, knowledge, culture, physical, financial, personal. Interestingly, Ngasem Hamlet has several assets that are different from other hamlets in Sumberejo Village. The assets owned are the community assets of the bamboo booth craftsman group, the business of making bamboo booths is the community's livelihood. The method used is ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) which prioritizes the utilization of existing assets and potentials around the community, namely the booth craftsman group. Based on the explanation of the ABCD approach, the skills improvement of the craftsmen and the addition of cubicle craftsmen in the strategy of running the business are obtained. With the progress of the business that can help the community in family life such as work, income / income, education.

Pengaruh Penambahan Serbuk Daun Kelor Terhadap Kadar Fe, Vitamin C, Dan Daya Terima Coklat Kelor (Kokoa Moringa Oleifera)

Iron deficiency anemia is often experienced by adolescent girls. The Fe content in Moringa leaf powder and cocoa compounds is needed for the formation of hemoglobin, while the vitamin C content in Moringa can increase Fe absorption. Objective: to analyze the effect of adding Moringa leaf powder to the levels of Fe, Vitamin C, and the acceptability of Moringa chocolate. Methods: quasi-experimental research with Post Test Only Control Group Design. The proportion of addition of Moringa leaf powder to 100 g of compound chocolate is 0g, 10g, 20g, 30g. Statistical analysis of Fe and Vit C levels using the ANOVA test. The acceptability test sample was 25 students of the Ngawi regency government akper. Results: The results of the statistical test of Fe levels showed significant results, with a p value of 0.00 (p<0.05) The results of the statistical test of vitamin C showed significant results with a p-value of 0.00 (p<0.05).The results of the acceptability test showed that there was a significant difference between taste, color, texture, and aroma. Of the four Moringa chocolates, the most popular is the addition of 10g of Moringa leaf powder. Conclusion: this Moringa chocolate can meet the RDA for adolescents aged 16-18 years, with a daily iron requirement of 24 mg, and a daily vitamin C requirement of 75 mg.

METODE BELAJAR MEMBACA TANPA MENGEJA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA ANAK USIA DINI PADA BIMBINGAN BELAJAR ANAK HEBAT (AHE) DIMASA PANDEMI

The purpose of this study was to find out the method of reading without spelling can improve children's reading skills at the Great Children's Tutoring (AHE) unit Kersoharjo, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The place of this research is AHE tutoring in Kersoharjo village, Geneng sub-district, Ngawi district. Research informants are tutors, students, and guardians of students in AHE tutoring. The data were collected using observation and interview techniques. To test the validity of the data, triangulation technique was used. The data that has been collected was analyzed using an interactive model. The results showed that: the process of applying the method of learning to read without spelling to improve reading skills in children in AHE tutoring, went through several stages as follows: 1) conditioning the child by telling the child to sit down and preparing writing instruments, and doing brain exercises by drawing as desired. . this stage is in the preliminary activity, 2) invites children to read the module according to the level, 3) then invites children to write what they have got before, 4) invites children to play with letter card media. in stages 2 to 4 are included in the core activities, and continued in the closing activities. In the closing activity there is a stage of reviewing the material learned during one meeting

PEMETAAN SISTEM INFORMASI BERDASARKAN SUMBER DAN KEBUTUHAN UNTUK PEMBUATAN KEPUTUSAN DI DINAS KESEHATAN

Background: Ngawi Regent Regulation Number 39 of 2008 concerning Duties, Functions, and Authorities of the Ngawi Regency Office, the function is to formulate technical policies in the health sector. According to Government Regulation Number 36 of 2014 concerning Health Information Systems, it is written that every
 health facility is required to record and report. Therefore, research required mapping information systems based on sources and availability for decision making at the Ngawi District Health Office.
 Objective: To identify the information systems and decisions made by the Ngawi District Health Office.
 Methods: This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research that uses a case study design. The research subjects are stakeholders who understand and are responsible for health programs and policymakers within the Ngawi District Health Office. Data analysis used thematic analysis.
 Results: The Ngawi District Health Office uses 31 active applications for daily activities. The infrastructure used to support minimal activities is laptops, applications, and internet networks. Data collection starts with the primary health care, health office, and health ministry. The decisions contained in the Ngawi District Health Office are programmed and non-programmed decisions. In 2020,
 non-programmed decisions were decisions related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Information system mapping has been carried out with an overview of the applications used by each sector in the health office and the data sources used.
 Conclusion: The Ngawi District Health Office has 31 active applications. The six applications have been integrated, 18 have not been integrated, and 12 applications can be integrated without having to enter the same data twice. There is no standard operating procedure in the public health department at the health office.

PENGUATAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN PENCEGAHAN COVID 19 DENGAN MENCUCI TANGAN DENGAN SABUN DAN MEMAKAI MASKER DI DESA KLAMPISAN, KECAMATAN GENENG, KABUPATEN NGAWI

Background: Covid-19 pandemic has become a growing issue in Indonesia with erious attention from the government by providing a policy of implementing strict health protocols. There is a problem of high transmission which is causally due to the application of wearing masks and how to wash hands with soap that is not appropriate and facilities that are not balanced. Aims: The social service prevents the spread of Covid-19 through socializing and facilitating the community in carrying out health protocols by use mask and hand washing appropiately. Methods: Participants in community service selected by random sampling. selection of participants according to the advice of community leaders. Results: obtained as many as 70 people in Klampisan Village, Geneng District, Ngawi Regency by going from house to house by several implementing teams. the community received socialization and a package of health protocols in the form of masks and hand washing soap. The socialization was given through appeals and leaflets about preventing Covid-19 in the surrounding environment. Conclusion: health education,s appeal to prevent Covid-19 transmission and facilitate the use of masks and soap for washing hands as prevent Covid-19 in the future to leads awareness of implementing health protocols helps prevent Covid-19 in Kalmpisan Village, Geneng, Ngawi District.

Strategi Promosi Dinas Pariwisata Pemuda Dan Olahraga Kebupaten Ngawi Dalam Meningkatkan Jumlah Kunjungan Wisatawan Di Taman Wisata Tawun Ngawi

Promotion is one of the methods conducted by the tourist attractions managers in increasing tourist visits. Due to that, the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency set promotional at Taman Wisata Tawun. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were used by conducting interviews, observation, and the documentation. The results of the research can be seen, the promotion strategy of the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency in promoting Taman Wisata Tawun by advertising from various media, such as print media, like brochures, booklets, and billboards. Next is social media, namely Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, and electronic media, such as television. Also, through events, such as Keduk Beji, music events, Orek-Orek, Art & Culture Festival, and Pasar Jadul. From the numerous promotional strategies carried out by the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency, the promotional obstacles faced by the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency in increasing the number of tourist visits at Taman Wisata Tawun is also known.

Non-millennial teachers’ strategies in coping with the online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic

This article discusses the strategies used by five non-millennial teachers (aged 54-59 years old) of a junior high school in coping with the online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, in Ngawi, East Java, Indonesia. The teachers were interviewed, and the data were transcribed and analyzed by creating a data repository, expanding the codes, describing the coded data, and drawing conclusions. The results revealed that the teachers had several strategies used, which were to increase students’ interest in learning, provide students with knowledge and attention, create efficient learning resources, and use SIMPEL (Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pembelajaran or Learning Management Information System), which is specifically available only in Ngawi. SIMPEL was specially developed by the Ngawi district education office, to ensure that the learning processes in Ngawi Regency continue to run optimally during the COVID-19 outbreak. SIMPEL substituted the use of online YouTube videos and materials because the materials were already provided by the system, decreasing the need for the teachers to depend on other resources. Despite these teachers also using other online platforms, hence issues such as the slow internet connection, running out of quotas and blackouts, hindered their efforts to use these platforms at times. Hence, WAG was the most used media to conduct their online learning due to its simplicity and availability. These teachers continued to strive to learn digital technologies ever since they changed from their previous face-to-face teaching strategies.

Optimasi Web Profil dan Sistem Informasi Terintegrasi Sebagai Media Promosi Wisata Waduk Pondok Ngawi

This research was conducted with the aim of designing and creating a web profile and integrated tourism information system that can present and provide tourist information in the Pondok Reservoir, Ngawi Regency. The background of this research was appointed based on the need for an information system that can provide comprehensive information quickly and accurately. There is still a lack of information that can be consumed by the wider community in relation to information on tourist attractions, especially Pondok Reservoir, so it is necessary to create an effective alternative means in informing the Pondok Reservoir tourism so that it is increasingly known by the wider community. And with this web profile and information system, it can also help the local government of the Department of Tourism and Culture in managing tourism and cultural information in the Ngawi Regency area. This study uses the waterfall system development method and the system testing method using the Black box testing method which focuses on the website function keys.

Effect of Use of Enterprise Social Media (ESM) on Employee Agility (Study on State Civil Apparatus in Ngawi Regency)

This study aims to explain the effect of using Enterprise Social Media (ESM) on employee agility in an organization by including Enterprise Social Media (ESM) as a mediator, namely to explore the role of meta-knowledge, digital fluency, work skills, and IT skills. Conducted at the Ngawi Regency Regional Apparatus Organization, this study involved 532 respondents. This type of research is quantitative with strategies and data collection using survey research methods. The sampling technique was carried out using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data analysis technique used quantitative analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis technique version 3.0. The results show that the use of ESM affects employee agility, the use of ESM affects Meta-Knowledge, Meta-Knowledge affects employee agility, Digital Fluency moderates the effect of using ESM on Meta-Knowledge, work skills moderates the effect of using ESM on employee agility, IT proficiency moderates the effect of using ESM ESM on employee agility, and Meta-Knowledge mediating the effect of using ESM on employee agility. Based on the results of the study, the following academic suggestions are proposed: (1) Further research is expected to conduct research on all ASN in other areas, (2) future research, it is expected not only to use the self-report instrument, but also to use the self-report instrument. using assessment methods from other sources. Thus, it is hoped that this can provide a comprehensive picture of the effect of using ESM and Meta-Knowledge on employee agility, and the role of Digital Fluency on Meta-Knowledge, as well as the role of work skills and IT proficiency as moderating variables on the effect of employee agility.

Risk Factors for Adolescent Pregnancy in the New Normal Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic: A Case-Control Study

Cases of early marriage are reported to have increased during the pandemic due to stressed teenagers with the pressure of online learning. The increase in this number plays a role in increasing the risk of teenage pregnancy. This study aimed to analyse the risk factors for adolescent pregnancies during the new normal era of the COVID-19 pandemic. A case-control design using a simple random sampling technique involved 40 pregnant adolescents aged 15-19 years and 80 non-pregnant adolescents during the online learning period (July 2021 to January 2022) in Ngawi Regency, Indonesia. Data obtained from interviews were analysed to find Odds Ratio (OR) with a 95% Confidence Interval (CI). Results showed factors associated with adolescent pregnancies were underpaid parental income (OR 4.00, 95%CI 1.64–9.74), authoritarian and permissive parenting (OR 12.75, 95%CI 4.71–34.46), lack of exposure to media about reproductive health (OR 7.91, 95%CI 3.32–18.84), risky dating behaviour (OR 37.09, 95%CI 4.86–283.25), and smoking habit (OR 5.57, 95%CI 1.03–30.12). Preventing adolescent pregnancies could be done through public health education focusing on adolescent communities, parent-child discussion on reproductive health, as well as exposure to educative media related to reproductive health and the impacts of juvenile delinquency.

ANALISIS KUALITAS LAYANAN PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS DI POLI PARU RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH dr. SOEROTO NGAWI TAHUN 2021

This study aims to determine and analyze the quality of services expected and provided to tuberculosis patients and to formulate efforts to improve the quality of services for tuberculosis patients at the Lung Poly, Regional General Hospital, dr. Soeroto, Ngawi Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using 112 tuberculosis patients in the pulmonary polyclinic of RSUD. dr. Soeroto Ngawi as the respondent. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that the patient's expectation was 34.88 and the reality score was 30.16 with a gap of 4.73. The patient satisfaction index on the quality of service at the Pulmonary Polyclinic of the Regional General Hospital dr. Soeroto Ngawi Regency is in the satisfied category. Efforts that can be formulated to improve service quality include: Health workers need to improve the delivery of information related to activities and behavior to patients so that they can maximize treatment and minimize transmission. Standard Operating Procedure is needed regarding information that needs to be conveyed to patients and socialization to health workers so that misinformation can be minimized. Provision of written information through various media that is easily accessible to patients is needed, health workers need to increase the use of Personal Protective Equipment as an effort to prevent transmission and minimize the risk of infection, especially for health workers along with SOPs for supervision from management to improve the compliance of health workers in the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Health workers need to improve physical appearance, neatness to improve the quality of service to patients and increase alertness in services, especially in the registration section. The hospital needs to improve the quality of services, especially the registration section so that it can improve the quality of services provided and according to patient expectations. The hospital can organize and involve human resources in various trainings such as communication training, excellent service to improve the quality of service to patients. Supervision is needed regarding services to tuberculosis patients, especially in the registration section by the person in charge and the head of the room so that the quality of service can be optimal.

The Motivation of Adolescents in Preventing Gastritis Return in SMP Negeri 1 Karangjati, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency

Background: Adolescent’s period is a time full of emotion and imbalance of mood swings and stress. Stress that is prolonged can be the trigger of Gastritis. Stress situation that has an impact on adolescents can increase the risk of recurrence so the adolescents need a strong motivation to increase the success in preventing the recurrence of Gastritis. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation of adolescents in preventing recurrence of gastritis at SMP Negeri 1 Karangjati. Methods: The study design uses a descriptive, single variable that is adolescents’ motivation in preventing gastritis recurrence. The research population is 286 persons and a sample of 29 respondents so that use purposive sampling technique according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet given to respondents by google form. The research was conducted from December 20 2020 to January 04, 2021. The data is analyzed using a percentage formula and interpreted quantitatively. Results: The result from 29 respondents, almost all of the respondents have strong motivation there are 24 respondents (83%) with strong motivation, 5 respondents (17%) with moderate motivation and no one of the respondents has weak motivation (0%). Conclusion: Adolescents’ motivation in preventing gastritis recurrence is influenced by for example sex, religion, residence, housemates, gastritis prevention familiarity, source of information, favorite food, hospitalization record, to the duration of having gastritis. It is hoped that adolescents can increase their motivation in preventing gastritis recurrence by finding more sources of information about how to implement a healthy diet.

Pengaruh Faktor Sosial Ekonomi Petani Terhadap Produksi Usahatani Jagung Di Desa Rejuno Kecamatan Karangjati Kabupaten Ngawi

Abstract— The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of socio-economic factors on corn farming production in Rejuno Village, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency, East Java. The research was conducted in Rejuno Village, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency, from October to December 2020. The population in this study were all maize farmers in Rejuno Village. The sampling technique in this study was using simple random sampling technique.The results showed that (1) Corn farming in Rejuno Village, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency was carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely land preparation and processing, planting was carried out twice per planting season, maintenance was carried out manually and harvesting was carried out manually; (2) Partially the variables of land area, seeds, and experience have a significant effect on maize farming production, while the number of family dependents and age have no significant effect on maize farming production. While simultaneously the variables of land area, seeds, labor force, experience, and age have a significant effect on the production of maize farming in Rejuno village, Karangjati sub-district, Ngawi district. Keywords—: socio-economic factors; corn farming production.

Potential Analysis of Organic Fertilizer Business Development from Beef Cattle Manure

This study aimed to determine the availability of technical, economic, and social aspects that support the development of organic fertilizer business based on beef cattle manure in Karangtengah Prandon Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency, Indonesia. The research method used interviews, questionnaires, and observation. This study involved 37 respondents who were selected by proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis. The results revealed that the availability of technical aspects has a potential of 64.4 percent, the availability of economic aspects has a potential of 62.7 percent, and the availability of social aspects has a potential of 47.9 percent. The most potential factor of technical aspect was the raw material availability in the location. Meanwhile, social factors, such as labor skills and leader community supports need to be increased. Developing a fertilizer business in Karang Tengah Prandon village may be accomplished by empowering farmers to turn fertilizer into a business.

Synergy Development of “State-Representative Apparatus” in Accelerating Social Forestry Policy Outcomes in Ngawi Regency, East Java

Social forestry is a new approach to solving problems around forests, such as poverty, social inequality, and massive deforestation. Indonesia’s new social forestry policy has given local communities greater rights and legal certainty regarding their involvement in forest management. However, local communities cannot stand alone in their implementation but must collaborate with other relevant stakeholders. A qualitative descriptive approach is used in this paper to capture efforts to build synergies between stakeholders in forest management and empowerment of forest communities in Ngawi Regency and identify opportunities and challenges afterward. The results of our analysis found that the signing of the MoU can be the first step to accelerate the achievement of social forestry policy outcomes. The dichotomy between “forest” and “social” affairs is increasingly visible in the division of tasks of each stakeholder involved. There is a need for clear legal rules regarding the roles and limits of allowable intervention for Regency governments. In addition, an urgent issue that needs to be addressed is the acceleration of capacity building and the capability of local communities, which are identified as essential factors in the success of social forestry policies.

The Development of Farmer Agrarian Literacy in Facing Changes in Times (Sample Framework in Ngawi Regency)

Increased infrastructure development has significantly impacted world agriculture, generally in Indonesia and particularly in Ngawi Regency. Due to the narrowing of agricultural land is an unavoidable necessity. It can be seen in the annual loss of agricultural land due to the eroded flow of development, which will doubt harm agricultural production. Because the agricultural land is decreasing, achieving food self-sufficiency in the world in the coming years will be difficult. The fact is the cause of the narrowness of agricultural land for infrastructure development. In addressing the issues mentioned above, research into the knowledge/literacy of farmers in the Ngawi Regency is required; specifically, developing farmer knowledge will enable farmers to continue farming. According to the research's findings: farmers have a deep understanding of agriculture; they mostly learn from their parents, the Internet, and neighbors; farmers learn about pest and disease cultivation and marketing aspects from the Internet.

Good Knowledge Makes Good Behavior In Giving Vitamin A To Toodler

Background: Vitamin A is one of the important nutrients that is fat-soluble and stored in the liver, cannot be made by the body so it must be met from the outside. Data from East Java Provincial Health Office note that the scope toddlers who received vitamin A capsules in 2019 reached 90.80% and has met the 2019 target of 90.8%. Meanwhile, the coverage of giving vitamin A capsules in Ngawi Regency is 75.9% of the target of 90.80% in 2019. The purpose of the study were to identify the characteristics of respondents based on age, education and occupation, to describe the mother's knowledge about vitamin A capsules in toddlers, to describe the attitudes of mothers about vitamin A capsules to toddlers.
 Methods: Descriptive quantitative research methods with a survey approach. The sampling technique was total sampling with a sample size of 60 mothers with toddlers aged 6-59 months at the Posyandu I Kartoharjo Village, Ngawi in 2021. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics.
 Results: The characteristics of the respondents based on the majority age 21-35 years (73%), based on the education of the majority of High School (42%), based on the occupation of the majority of housewives (78%), the description of the mother's knowledge about vitamin A capsules was mostly good (58 %), the majority of mothers' attitudes about vitamin A capsules support (96%).
 Conclusion: The reseacrh measurement knowledge and attitudes of mothers about vitamin A capsules in toddlers during the covid-19 pandemic at the Posyandu I Kartoharjo Village, Ngawi is good. However, there is still knowledge and attitudes that are lacking and unsupportive, during the pandemic covid 19, it is hoped that efforts to increase the knowledge and attitudes of respondents about vitamin A.
