Using ChatGPT and Midjourney to Generate Chinese Landscape Painting of Tang Poem ‘The Difficult Road to Shu’

Using artificial intelligence (AI)-generated image technology, we explore the landscape paintings of the Tang poet. Two powerful tools, ChatGPT and Midjourney, are used to create high-quality paintings that capture the essence of the traditional Chinese landscape and incorporate modern AI-generated content technology (AIGC). We compare three versions of the poem Difficult Road to Shu. These results are calculated by providing different prompts for creating Midjourney images. By highlighting the similarities and differences between the three versions of poetry in terms of landscape scenery description and aesthetic style, the research result shows how AI-generated content creates various creative outputs of different styles, allowing artists and content creators to experiment with new forms of expression. Furthermore, it is highlighted how AI-generated content technologies improves students' understanding of traditional cultural elements while promoting creativity through modern tools.

Teologi Inkulturasi dalam Sejarah Gereja dan Dewasa Ini di Flores, Indonesia

<p>This article is based on a book by Emanuel Martasudjita on Inculturation Theology. The author of this article supports the<br />statement of E. Martasudjita that inculturation of theology is not a new reality, but has been known and practiced<br />throughout the history of the Church. By expanding on the description given by Martasudjita regarding the stages in the<br />development of history, the author of the article draws on the basic insight from that history that inculturated theology is not<br />constructed, but must grow in the reflections made by the faithful about their Christian faith, where they use the way of<br />thinking, they have according to the culture they live in.<br />From the research on history, it is learned that changes in form in theology often occur based on different favorite ideas<br />held by different cultures, besides that there has also been the formation of new theology, where people with certain cultural<br />backgrounds learn theology from other cultures. In this case it is easy to misunderstand which can trigger a long discussion<br />that results in a new form of expression of the Christian faith.<br />By taking the results of this historical research, the author highlights the situation of practice of faith and reflection of faith<br />in the Flores island in South East Indonesia.</p><p><br /><strong>Keywords:</strong> Inculturation, history of theology, local culture in Flores, Basic Ecclesial Communities</p>

The phenomenon of digitalization of the drama theater: digital as the latest experience of the Tovstonogov BDT

The development of the vital potential of the drama theater is in a continuous search for new forms of expression. Today, in an attempt to establish itself on the territory of a multicultural environment, as well as in an attempt to gain a unique method of communication with society, the theater as an art sphere expands the boundaries of its purpose. Going beyond the stage space turns out to be an important subject of research from the point of view of the search for the artistic existence of the theater in the conditions of digital reality. This article discusses the issue of finding a place for a drama theater in a digital environment where the energy of human relations is significantly minimized and manifests itself in a specifically different way. The subject of the research for the author was the cultural and creative activity of the Tovstonogov BDT. The St. Petersburg Bolshoi Drama Theater does not need recommendations: it has a great history in the twentieth century, an attractive stage "today" for the audience and, undoubtedly, interesting prospects. In the practice of BDT under the leadership of Andrei the Mighty (2013-2023), there are such turns of dramatic action that are not directly connected with the stage and are almost out of place for the "repertory" theater. The phenomenon of the theater, as if removed from its ancestral roots, leaving the walls breathing tradition, is considered in the article as an experience of cultural and theatrical "exit" to the "stage" of digital reality. Among such experiments, the most significant are the social action "Help the doctors", as well as the experiments of "Minecraft" performances. In addition to the usual comparative historical method for art studies, others will be used, first of all, the formal method, which distinguishes the St. Petersburg school of theater studies. Scientific novelty is determined by the subject of research itself: BDT is considered as a phenomenon of a multi-genre cultural space, in which, as before, a special place is rightfully given to the actor, his role, as well as to the viewer who finds himself in the conditions of a new socio-cultural picture of the world.

Temporal and spatial displacement

Dissatisfied with the arts landscape of 1990s Catalonia, Eulàlia Valldosera moved to the Netherlands in pursuit of new forms of expression. Setting up a home in a foreign space made her aware of how dwelling places are saturated with traces of their former inhabitants. During that decade, she produced a series of photographs and installations that engaged with the domestic space. This article explores the artist’s use of time, movement, and the everyday object in a selection of her 1990s oeuvre and suggests that place and time in her work hark back to a subject that is either absent or displaced.Keywords: Eulàlia Valldosera, dislocation, domestic space, object, installation art.

Folklore in Social Networks (Using the Example of Twitter and Telegram)

Folklore is a very old phenomenon that has undergone great changes over the entire period of its existence. The telecommunications revolution has significantly changed our lives, and folklore has undergone the same changes, which has penetrated into the space of digital communications, social networks. This actualized the study of this topic in modern linguistic science. In accordance with the high relevance of this topic, folklore in social networks such as Twitter and Telegram became the object of the article's research. In the course of the work, general scientific methods of induction, deduction, synthesis, abstraction were used, as well as particular methods of linguistic research – descriptive method, typological method, method of formalization and method of logical comparison. Through the conducted research, it was found out that modern folklore has moved into the field of digital communications, where it has been actively developed, many new forms of folklore and channels for its dissemination have appeared. The results of the work can be used as a theoretical basis containing a systematic range of works on folklore, as well as as a basis for practical application when working in the field of Internet communications, public relations, mass media, journalism. Along with the development of society, language also develops, new forms of expression appear, thanks to the mass media it has become much easier to create and distribute them. Folklore is no exception in this sense – it has become one of the means of communication, expression of emotions to describe the current situation on the Internet, the pandemic is a vivid result of that. It has become the main theme of modern folklore since 2020.

Social relations and exclusion among people facing death

In line with current policies and service developments related to palliative care, more people are dying at home. This situation has provoked discussions about the importance of non-medical issues related to death. The process of dying is often long, with many phases, and the social aspect is a major part of it. Our focus in this article is on dying as a social process. Social relationships are significant and play a meaningful role in enhancing the well-being of older adults approaching the end of life. Meaningful social relationships tend to change over time; however, and the process of dying may exacerbate such changes in and challenge these relationships. The aim of our study was to examine how social relationships are experienced and (re)constructed among older adults (70–83 years old) during the process of dying, in a Finnish context. We were interested in the nature and type of these relationships, and in the possible new forms of expression that may emerge during this process. Our empirical data were based on interviews with seven older adults who were close to death. The analysis revealed processes of exclusion from existing relations. At the same time, we observed new and unexpected relations being initiated, which sometimes became meaningful and supportive. The results highlighted the role of expectations and importance of analysing exclusion from a life-course perspective.

More and more countries and enterprises have begun to enter the meta-universe field, especially game companies such as Tencent, and have made many breakthroughs in the meta-universe field in recent years. The metaverse will have more possibilities in the combination of innovation in various fields, and the future metaverse may change people's lifestyles, bring technological innovation, or bring disaster to mankind. Therefore, breaking through technical limitations and improving the management system have become urgent problems that the metaverse needs to solve.

Оценка деятельности религиозных организаций в западном регионе Монголии

Based on the analysis of various sources, this article identifies three periods in the development of religious processes in Mongolia from the end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st century. During the first period (1990-2000), there was a surge in the number of religious communities due to the transition to democracy, free market relations, the restoration of traditional religions and cultures, and the search for new forms of expression. The second period (2001-2010) saw the establishment of numerous religious organizations and monasteries as the democratic political system became more stable. In the third period (from 2010 to the present), the foundations of democracy, free market relations, and pluralism have matured in the country, leading to the formation of a whole network of religious communities. The article concludes that the religious renaissance in Mongolia affects all aspects of public life and requires attention from the state, local governments, and law enforcement agencies. To strengthen the status of existing religious communities, the article suggests establishing an institution or institution dealing with religious affairs, supporting the university curriculum for religious studies, and reforming the legal environment with far-sighted policies that respect national interests and the interests of citizens. The article also stresses the need to approach foreign religious organizations with caution, properly acquaint the outside world with the multifaceted religious situation and culture of the population of Mongolia, and study religious organizations based on the «Concept of Regional Development of Mongolia

From liberal to intersectional: Reframing feminism advocacy

Feminism has undergone four waves, each with different frames and genres that reflect the historical and cultural contexts. The first wave emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when women demanded reproductive rights and political equality. The second wave emerged in the 1960s and 1970s, when women challenged gender roles and social norms. The third wave emerged in the 1980s and 1990s, when women embraced intersectionality and diversity, recognizing the multiple oppressions faced by women of color, sexual minority groups, immigrants, etc. The fourth wave emerged in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, when women used the internet and online culture to critique and celebrate feminism, creating new forms of expression and activism. This paper will examine how each wave’s framing changed over time, what factors influenced these changes, and what limitations or challenges these waves faced. The paper will use documentation, web ethnography, and open coding methods to collect and analyze data.

Content Research Strategy of “Three Agricultural Videos” in the Internet Era – Take the Example of the Three Farmers Food Skills Category

Along with the spiralling development of social media and the rise of short video platforms such as Jitterbug and Racer, there has been a boom of a large number of rural people joining the ranks of short videos, reaping the benefits of media literacy and media opportunities by spreading the daily life of farmers and local culture, while deriving a new form of expression for rural development. Narrative short videos on three rural areas have also become a craze entering audiences and influencing their lives. It is not only the novelty of the video style, but also the incipient categorisation of short videos. As a result, more and more urban groups are learning about idyllic rural life through short video platforms, narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas and improving rural economic revitalisation and development.

From real spaces to virtual spaces: The metaverse and decentralized cinema

Developments in computer and communication technologies, which constitute the starting point of concepts such as decentralization, virtuality, simulation, augmented reality and metaverse, have also brought new forms of expression and designs in art to the agenda. In addition to the decentralized data architecture and metaverse areas that emerged in parallel with the development of network technologies, applications that increase the user's interaction and beleaguered experience such as virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality have increased their effectiveness in this field. The metaverse spaces that emerge with the cooperation of software, art and architecture offer their users a more similar life simulation of natural life through augmented reality vehicles or screens. Here, users can perform new experiences for artistic production and consumption as well as daily life practices such as socialization and communication. Metaverse spaces, which include the design of a three-dimensional virtual universe that can be supported by augmented reality, are free from all the constraints of the real world as a cinematic plateau. It is seen as a great advantage that the real film set can create a cinematic work without expensive equipment such as cameras, lights, and sound away from all the negativities of the natural shooting conditions. The fact that the production, distribution and screening of cinema works can be realized within this field brings a new understanding of decentralized cinema to the agenda. Decentralized cinema, which has begun to rise in the expanding virtual geography of the metaverse virtual space with its advantages such as virtual characters and scenes and creative space fictions, is an art form worth examining. This study focuses on the possible future transformations of cinema in terms of production and representation in the context of the relationship of virtual and augmented reality technologies with developing metaverse areas. The emergence of a new cinematic ecology; The opportunities and obstacles it provides to producers are examined with the philosophical criticism method through concepts such as virtual and augmented reality, web 3.0, metaverse in terms of audience experiences it offers for screening. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the metaverse area has many advantages in terms of the production of cinema works, democratization of the production and distribution of works, digital privacy and security for metaverse artists, and recognition of ownership for digital works of art.

Beyond tradition: using systemic functional linguistics in TED talks

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is an internationally based open access platform where professionals from various fields are invited to give speeches, and to share ideas with like-minded people. In recent years, topics related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) or the COVID-19 pandemic have become the most popular speech topics on TED. This paper selects speech-related topics on TED during the pandemic, by using systemic functional linguistics to study how discourses are expressed on the platform. Unlike traditional textual analyses, content on TED are normally verbalized, requiring original texts to be presented in an understandable format. As a result, this paper focuses on the functional innovation of new forms of expression on TED. In other words, the functional perspective of the presentation in relation to COVID-19 based topics may rely on the explanation of the meta-meaning of the keywords, posting images and other techniques as auxiliary means for expression, to some extent. These auxiliary techniques offer traditional systemic functional linguistics new meanings in terms of ideational and interpersonal aspects.

The Limits of Film within the Limits of Theatre, in Two Examples.Spectacular identities from the Communist and present era

Using conventional procedures involves, regardless of the art form, knowing their distinctive elements, how the particularities of that art form works in its ideal parameters – can’t play a song on a brush – and, most importantly, knowing where the limit is between the experiment and the conventional product. The latter has no negative connotation – on the contrary, I believe we are sorely lacking well-made conventional products (in both theatre and film), created not necessarily after a recipe (which could be interpreted as commercially-oriented), but at least with a coherent slalom through style and aesthetics. Still, it is the experiment (and most of all the cross-disciplinary experiment) that gave birth to the arts we are discussing (theatre and film), discovering new forms of expression. In this piece, we will discuss the identities of Radu Jude and Lucian Pintilie, in their form of cinema expression in which they use all the elements specific to theatre, from the conventionality of the space to the present indication, from the formal props to the intent lighting, from the melding of specific technical elements to the spectacular editing.

Online Hating as Modern Manifestation of Nietzschean Ressentiment

The article analyses the modern phenomenon of hating in the light of the Nietzschean concept “ressentiment”. It is concluded, that hating can be considered as a kind of the ressentiment experience. This confirms the legitimacy of the “hating ressentiment” concept introduction, which identifies a hater as a person of ressentiment. Hater uses his destructive potential to harass online and persecute everyone whose position or opinion he/she does not share. When all the resources of unfounded criticism of the hater are exhausted, he/she resorts to ressentiment, online. Due to this, ressentiment acquires a new form of expression, namely, hating ressentiment, which is defined as a radical and acute form of ressentiment, corresponding to the form of hatred with which a hater treats everyone in whose place he/she would like to be.

What We Do Doing Theatre at School. An Experience of Social Theater in Italy During the Covid-19 Pandemic: An Ethnographic Research

The article reflects the role of theater in the Italian school, starting from the research carried out with an experience in social theater in a high school in Pavia during the Covid-19 pandemic. The difficulties due to distancing have made evident the importance of the socializing role of theater in person for the training of students, forced to undergo complex transformations due to the pandemic situation like the whole world of live entertainment. The centrality of the body seemed irreplaceable, but its absence prompted us to explore new forms of expression, integrating performance and mediatization, bringing together theater-school and professional theater in the rethinking of liveness. The article is divided into two parts: the first describes the social theater in the development of the school-theater in Italy; the second deals with the ethnographic research carried out in the Pavia high school between March 2020 and May 2021.

QR Code as a New Legal Reality

The development of digital technologies has led to the active introduction of new forms of expression of legal documents into the legal system. For several decades of their existence, QR-code and barcode have shown their uniqueness and versatility, as well as convenience in certain areas of law enforcement practice. In the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, states had to restrict natural rights in order to curb the spread of the disease and accelerated the introduction of QR codes into the everyday life of citizens to control the established measures and certify the fact of vaccination, having actually implemented a socio-legal experiment The inductive method of research with the analysis of the draft law on the introduction of QR codes revealed insufficient theoretical elaboration of the mechanism for introducing digital innovations into legal life. This is fact generated social tension and revealed problems of ensuring the legality of the relevant mechanism of legal regulation. Given the application of a QR code as an innovation in legal life in 2021, theoretical and legal analysis demonstrated the need to strengthen the fundamental foundations of legal theory. On the other hand, it showed the necessity to ensure the expediency, concretization and validity of the introduction of not a QR code per se, but rather of restrictive measures as a method of legal regulation. The problem of legal and digital literacy of the population remains unconditional. Citizens’ misunderstanding of the specifics of the process of using QR codes in practice often generates and provokes increased conflicts, which in modern conditions of a developing digital society and a publicly accessible information space contributes to the artificial formation of an aggressive field, which ultimately affects the rule of law and legality.

The public’s latent desire is expressed in diverse hybrid forms under the pluralistic social circumstances of a postmodern society. Hybrid identity which could’ve been deemed ‘wrong’ according to conventional dichotomous standards was believed to be valuable enough to make a contribution to social development and innovation from a postmodern perspective. Therefore, this study attempted to re-recognize the others’ aesthetic values through the postmodern thinking system and try new patterns by applying hybrid identity to body art in a borderless form. The results found that in a postmodern society, hybrid identity coexists with humans in a close relationship with surroundings and that it could exploring new values and evolve into a positive art genre by the exceeding the boundary of culture, race and tradition.It is anticipated that the study results would be helpful in setting a direction for body art as a new form of expression, which illustrates the abstract mental state of human inside based on plurality.

Te raweketanga o ngā mātauranga Takatāpui: Constructing a review of knowledge from fragments

This article considers how peka (fragments) of indigenous Māori knowledge that suffered the impact of colonial bowdlerisation and erasure (Pouwhare and McNeill, 2018; Pouwhare, 2019) may be discussed within a contextual review of literature. The indigenous practice-led doctoral thesis that resources the article asks: ‘How might an artistic reconsideration of gender role differentiation shape new forms of expression in Māori performing arts?’ Specifically, this study is concerned with generating and understanding spaces where the principles of takatāpuitanga (sexual orientation) and irarua/irarere (gender fluidity) might find purposeful expression within an indigenous Māori world view. In addition to reviewing existing literature, the thesis also involves interviewing takatāpui tane (Māori gay men) and Māori scholars as it seeks to exhume or contextualise fragmentary knowledge.

Banners and Memes

This article compares two waves of protests that have taken place in Poland: one related to the reform of the judicial system (2015) and the other to the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal that limited the right to abortion (2020). The analysis of banners, memes and photos documents new forms of expression of civic dissent and a generational shift in the visual rhetoric of citizenship. The analysis reveals the persistence of specific cultural and political patterns and new forms of protest resulting from different sources of collective imagination and oppositional readings of national myths and symbols. The juxtaposition of the visuals from 2015 and 2020 shows fundamental differences in using history and popular culture motifs in slogans and memes expressing the collective identity of the protesters. In 2015 conflict concerned specific legal solutions, and in 2020 displayed deep generational, gender and cultural disagreement. Concepts of social performances and deliberative democracy explain how demonstrations reflect the transformation of the Polish public sphere.

Visual Space System Design in Digital Media Art Design

With the development of the economy, graphic design has become one of the main forms of commercial advertising. Designers design different graphic design schemes for different layouts and design requirements, which puts forward new requirements for graphic design process work. With the advancement of technology, graphic design (or visual communication design) supported by digital media technology is not limited to print media, and network media is also included. This research mainly discusses the visual space system in digital media art design. It can be said that the reconstructed space under virtual reality is based on interaction, has an immersive and imaginative space, and is combined with narrative to a certain extent to create a new form of expression for the information expression of space design. This paper first interprets the concept of “space” from psychology, painting art, and film art produced. Then explain the particularity of digital media art design, and it uses the design works to explain the content of the exposition. Connecting digital technology can bring people the uniqueness of aesthetics. This paper makes related theoretical research on the design practice of visual space. In this paper, visual perception in psychology is introduced into design thinking. The concept of visual space is not only expressed in art and culture but also involves the concept of space and time in physics and the scientific research theory of visual perception in psychology. It breaks through the level of perceptual cognition of space in art design. 31.85% of the respondents think that visual space design is attractive. Now is the era of new media interaction. The development of interactive technology and devices has brought infinite possibilities to visual communication design. We cannot accurately say its future development and changes. Because of the emergence of new technologies and media, visual communication design is also expanding its own types of works, and it is constantly developing and improving through the study of people’s emotions and the combination of design and technology. This research has positive significance for the development of the visuospatial system. The advancement of digital media technology has enriched the means of expression in space design creation and expanded people’s living spaces. Through the combination of modern digital media technology at multiple levels and multiple channels, various new spaces can be created to further meet the new needs of contemporary people.
