Pressure vessels have extensive applications in many industrial areas. The weight, cost effectiveness and inadequacy of conventional metals, the trend of pressure vessels (PV) has shifted to composite materials. These composites not only develop the performance characteristics but also offers substantial amount of materials saving. The usage of these materials intends in reduction of the cost, weight and improves the strength of the PV. The layer angle orientation of the PV plays the vital role in their strength improvement. As we have various composites, the main objective in this paper is to use Natural Fiber Composites (NFC) and Synthetic Fiber Composites (SFC) in the application of the PV. Here the paper includes the strength improvement characteristics of the PV using composites. It includes the failure analysis of the PV using different natural and synthetic composites at different angle orientations i.e., at 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 70° & 90°. The paper finally concludes with the information that using Synthetic Fibers (SF) improves more strength of PV and also changing of the angle orientations enhances the additional strengthening properties of the PV. However there is still a requirement in the reduction of the weight and cost specifically in the application of the aerospace.
