Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD Swasta GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar Private Elementary School. This research is a pre-experimental research using a one group pretest-posttest design, the sample of this research is 25 people. The data collection technique is a test. By carrying out the pretest, they got an average result of 59, then they were given treatment after being given treatment using the problem based learning model so they got a posttest score with an average score of 86.6. With the scores obtained, the posttest scores have a higher average than the pretest. After carrying out the posttest, the researcher carried out the n-gain test and got an n-gain score of 0.6848 which was categorized as medium and the hypothesis test got a value of 21,315. The results of the t test obtained t = 21.315 with a significance level of 0.000. because the significant probability is much smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 and tcount = 21,315 > ttable = 1,710, then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that it means that there is an influence of the problem based learning model on the science learning outcomes of class V students at GKPS 1 Pematangsiantar Private Elementary School for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Development of Pancasila monopoly learning media based on SAVI to improve Pancasila education learning outcomes

The low learning outcomes of students in interpreting the rules in the school and home environment need attention. This is caused by the teacher's teaching methods, which are less varied and interesting. This study aims to develop Pancasila monopoly media to improve PPKn learning outcomes. The study applies the 4D development model, which stands for Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. This model was chosen because the stages of implementation are divided in detail and systematically. The analysis is descriptive of quantitative and qualitative data obtained through observation, interviews, and direct measurements in the field. The results of the media expert assessment obtained a score of 93.7% with very good criteria, and the material expert obtained a score of 96.2% with very decent criteria. Student learning outcomes increased to 82.32 from the previous score of 42.50. The increase was 39.8%. While the control class that did not use media increased its score from 49.05 to 75.48. The results of the N-Gain test obtained an average difference in the experimental class of 39.8 with an n-gain of 0.76 and a moderate criterion, and the effectiveness interpretation obtained a score of 76.50 with a fairly effective criterion. While the control class with an average difference of 26 obtained an N-Gain score of 0.52 on the moderate criterion and an effectiveness level of 52.35, a less effective.

The Effectiveness of the Discovery Learning Model on the Quality of Islamic Cultural History Learning

Learning the history of Islamic culture can train students to think chronologically and foster nationalism in planning the future based on past experiences. This research aims to test the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in improving the quality of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning and determine learning models that can produce quality SKI learning. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, involving an experimental class that applies the discovery learning model and a control class that uses the conventional lecture method. Data sources were taken from the pretest and post-test in both classes. The research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Ibadul Ghofur with a sample of class 10 MIA 1 students as the experimental class and class 10 MIA 2 as the control class. The research showed that the discovery learning model effectively improved the quality of SKI learning, with the average post-test score for the experimental class (86.91) being higher than the control class (72.50). The N-gain score measurement shows that the experimental class is in the practical category (70.49), while the control class is ineffective category (35.10). This research concludes that the discovery learning model has also been proven to increase student activity and motivation in learning compared to conventional methods. In conclusion, there is a significant difference in the quality of SKI learning between the control and experimental classes, where the discovery learning method is more effective in improving the quality of learning.

Development of Ebook Teaching Materials Based on the PBL Model Assisted by the Kvisoft Flibbook Maker Application in Class IV Elementary Schools

This research was conducted because of several findings in the field in the form of technological devices, facilities and infrastructure that are still not being utilized optimally by teachers in the learning process to support interesting and enjoyable learning. E-book teaching material based on the PBL model assisted by the kvisoft flipbook maker application in class IV elementary school which is valid, practical and effective as a solution to overcome the problems found in initial observations. This research activity uses a type of Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. At the analysis stage, observations and interviews were carried out with teachers and students at three schools, namely SDS IT Dar El Iman, SDIT Sabihisma 1, and SDIT Sabihisma 2, Padang city. At the design stage, a teaching material was designed based on the facts obtained. At the development stage, the teaching material that had been designed was validated to find out whether the product was valid for implementation expert validators (material, language and media) as well as one expert from the FGD teacher so that an overall average validation result of 89.33% was obtained with a very valid category. The results obtained after evaluating the practicality test of the teacher response questionnaire with an average score of 93.30% were in the very practical category and the student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 88.59% which was in the very practical category. In the effectiveness test, the learning outcomes obtained an average score of 91.16 with an N-Gain Score of 67.15%, including the quite effective category.

Development of Learning Media Using the Articulate Storyline Application in Integrated Thematic Learning

This research is motivated by the conventional nature of learning that takes place in the classroom, that is, it is still teacher-centered, not student-centered. This research aims to produce learning media using the Articulate Storyline application in integrated thematic learning that is valid, practical and effective to improve student learning outcomes in class III elementary schools. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE development model which has five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. At the analysis stage, observations and interviews were carried out with teachers and students in elementary schools, at the design stage a learning media was designed according to the data and facts obtained. At the development stage of the learning media that has been designed, validation is carried out to find out whether the product is valid for application. Validation is carried out in three stages: first, validation by five validators who are experts in their respective fields with an overall average result of 88 with a very valid category. The results obtained after evaluating the practicality test of the teacher response questionnaire obtained an average score of 91 in the very practical category, and the student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 90 which was in the very practical category. In the effectiveness test, the learning results obtained an average value of 89 in the effective category and for the N-Gain Score an average value of 0.74 was obtained with a percentage of 74, including the effective category. Based on the results of validity, practicality and effectiveness tests, it can be concluded that the learning media using the Articulate Storyline Application in thematic learning is a valid, practical and effective learning media.

Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Assemblr Edu terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas V

Problem-solving skills are essential competencies that need to be developed in elementary school students. The application of innovative learning models, such as Problem-Based Learning supported by interactive technology media like Assemblr Edu, can be an effective solution for enhancing these skills. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Assemblr Edu media on the problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students. The research method used is an experimental method with a Pre-test Post-test Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The results of the study showed that the use of the PBL model supported by Assemblr Edu significantly improved students' problem-solving abilities compared to conventional learning methods. This can be seen from the significant difference in the N-Gain scores, with the experimental class reaching 0.7 (moderate category) and the control class only 0.2 (low category). These findings suggest that interactive technology media like Assemblr Edu can be an effective tool in enhancing students' critical and analytical thinking skills.

Effectiveness of Integrated Interactive Problem Based Learning E-Modules in Improving Critical Thinking Abilities

This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills by using interactive modules integrated with problem-based learning on the excretory system material. The research method used pra experimental research design with a One-Shot Case Study. The data collection instrument was critical thinking ability test questions analyzed using SPSS version 27 software. The results showed a significant value for the T-test of 0.000 (<0.05), with an average N-gain score of 0.63, meaning there was a significant difference. The results of critical thinking abilities before and after using the PBL integrated interactive e-module with a significant increase of 0.63 (medium). So it is concluded that the PBL integrated interactive e-module is feasible, practical, and effective for improving students' critical thinking skills in studying biology on excretory system material.

Development of HTML5-Based Mobile Learning Media to Enhance Critical Thinking Skills of Elementary School Students in IPAS Learning

This study aims to examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of HTML5-based mobile learning media to enhance the critical thinking skills of elementary school students in science learning (IPAS). The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The study subjects were fourth-grade elementary students from two schools, SDN Yosowilangun Kidul 01 and SDN Yosowilangun Kidul 03 in Lumajang Regency. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, expert validation instruments, practicality instruments, and pretest-posttest data. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach, focusing on student needs and the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of HTML5-based mobile learning media. The results showed that the HTML5-based mobile learning media had an average validity score of 88.9%, categorized as "highly valid." The practicality test, based on teacher observation and student response questionnaires, yielded an average percentage of 91.50%, categorized as "very practical," indicating that the media is suitable for use in the learning process. In the effectiveness test, the analysis of critical thinking data resulted in an N-gain score of 0.754, categorized as "high," demonstrating that the use of HTML5-based mobile learning media can significantly improve students' critical thinking skills in elementary science learning. In conclusion, the use of HTML5-based mobile learning media in science learning is valid, feasible, and highly effective for improving students' learning outcomes and critical thinking skills at the elementary level.

Geo-Virtual Reality (GVR): The creative materials to construct spatial thinking skills using virtual learning based metaverse technology

Integration between technology, pedagogic, and knowledge are an important requirement in learning geography. This requires support from learning media that adapts to the times. This era's learning media focuses more on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and other technologies that give students the impression that they are seeing an object directly. This article aims to develop metaverse-based learning media in Geo-Virtual Reality. The method used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation)., a pre-test and post-test were carried out to test the influence and effectiveness of the media on students' spatial thinking skills. The influence was measured using the Paired Sample T-test, while the effectiveness was analyzed uses the N-Gain Score. The research results show sig < 0.05, indicating that Geo-Virtual Reality (GVR) in learning affects students' spatial thinking skills. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test shows an N-Gain of 0.47 (medium level), which shows that the media can improve students' spatial thinking skills. However, what needs to be realized is that the use of media must be accompanied by a teacher who masters the content and can convey it to students to obtain optimal results.

Developing Interactive Learning Media Using Powtoon to Improve Students' Interest and Learning Outcomes in Global Warming Material

The purpose of this study was to explain how well Powtoon Instructional Materials can help teachers carry out learning activities that can improve students' interest and learning outcomes on the topic of global warming. To explain how well Powtoon Instructional Materials can improve students' interest and learning outcomes. This study uses a type of development research commonly called Research and Development (R&amp;D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Distribution, and Evaluation). 3 validators conducted validation to produce a feasible product, and the result was 87.6%, which indicates a very feasible category for use. According to the results of the distributed learning interest questionnaire, the initial results of the questionnaire were 55.2% for the low category and the final results were 73.4% for the moderate category. The pretest-posttest and N-Gain results were calculated to determine student learning outcomes. The calculation results show that the N-Gain score of 0.69 is in the moderate category and the N-Gain percentage of 69.5% is in the fairly effective category.

Gratitude Interventions: Can They Improve Job Satisfaction

Job satisfaction tends to be low among civil servants at the Sanggau Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency, indicating the need for effective psychological intervention. One form of intervention carried out is gratitude training. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of gratitude training in increasing job satisfaction for civil servants in the BKPSDM Sanggau Regency. The type of research is experimental with the design used is pretest and posttest control group design. The research was conducted on civil servants at the Sanggau Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency with 35 subjects. Data was obtained by filling in the job satisfaction scale before and after gratitude training. The data analysis technique uses the N-Gain Score. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a significant difference in the level of job satisfaction before and after gratitude training. The average job satisfaction score before training is 119.3, while after training, it increased to 162.5. By using the difference index (N Gain Score), an increase of 70.5064% is recorded. These findings indicate that gratitude training is effective in increasing civil servant job satisfaction in BKPSDM Sanggau Regency.

Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis TPACK pada Mata Pelajaran Informatika Kelas VII di SMP

The research aims to develop framework-based interactive multimedia on Techonogical Pedagogical Content Knowledge in informatics subjects at the junior high school level. The type of research used is the Research and Development (R&amp;D) method with a development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). At the development stage, an analysis of needs in the field, storyboard design, media development using the articulate storyline application, and product trials were carried out to students. The instruments used in the study consist of observations, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests with the aim of determining the practicality and effectiveness of the products developed. The validation test data from the material aspect obtained a score of 4.00 with the criterion of "Strongly Agree". Meanwhile, in terms of media tested by two media validators, the average score from validator 1 was 3.85 with the "Valid" category and from media expert 2 was 4.74 with the "Very Valid" category. The results of the practicality test were obtained with a score of 4,210 in the category "Very Practical". The results of the effectiveness test obtained an average N-gain score of 71.24% which is included in the category of "Quite Effective". Based on the assessment that has been obtained, the TPACK-based interactive multimedia developed is very feasible and effective to be used in learning activities

Development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on Socio-Scientific Issue (SSI) on Flat Form Topics to Improve Reading Literacy and Numeration Skills

This study explores the development and effectiveness of student worksheets (LKPD) based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) to enhance reading literacy and numeracy skills among fifth-grade students. Conducted at SDN Jabontegal, SDN Lebaksono, and SD Islam Nahrul Ulum, the research identifies the challenges faced by students in implementing independent learning policies and the inadequacy of existing teaching materials in improving literacy and numeracy. The LKPD was designed to integrate reading and numeracy skills through contextual issues related to the students’ environment, such as historical events and objects in Mojokerto. Validity and reliability tests, involving expert validators in material, language, and media, confirmed the LKPD’s high validity and reliability, with scores of 86%, 83%, and 90%, respectively. The effectiveness of the LKPD was demonstrated through significant improvements in students’ literacy and numeracy skills, as evidenced by N-Gain scores of 0.82 in the experimental class, compared to 0.65 and 0.47 in control classes. Student and teacher responses indicated high levels of agreement on the practicality and readability of the LKPD, with percentages ranging from 72% to 100%. These findings suggest that the SSI-based LKPD is a practical and effective tool for enhancing literacy and numeracy skills in primary education. Pengembangan E-Modul Fisika Berbasis PBL Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Kolaborasi Peserta Didik

The study aims to: 1) develop of PBL-based e-module to improve students collaboration skills, 2) the feasibility of PBL-based e-module to enhance students collaboration skills, and 3) the effectiveness of the PBL-based e-module to enhance students collaboration skills. The research method used Research and Development (R&amp;D) with ADDIE model by Dick and Carry (1996). Research procedures were carried out in four initial stages: analysis, design, development and implementation. The conclusions are: 1) an e-module based PBL characteristics has been successfully developed, 2) based on validation results, e-module meets the criteria to be utilized in learning activities, and 3) this e-module received N-Gain score 0,6053, indicating it is effective for enhancing students collaboration skills. Implementation of Inquiry Learning Models on Renewable Energy Materials to Improve Students’ Communication Skills

Abstract This study aims to improve students’ communication skills on renewable energy material through the application of the inquiry learning model at class XI public high school 109 Jakarta. The benefit of this research is as an innovation in learning physics through the inquiry learning model to improve students’ communication skills. This research methode used classroom action research which took place in two cycles with four stages in each cycle, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were class XI-3 students at public high school 109 Jakarta for the academic year 2022/2023 with a total of 36 students. At the time of applying the inquiry learning model cycle I: 33 (91.67%) students were able to communicate, and 3 (8.33%) students were less able to communicate with an average grade of 88.0. In cycle II: 36 (100%) students able to communicate in front of the class with an average grade of 91.2. The conclusion from this study is the implementation of the inquiry learning model can improve student’s communication skills on renewable energy material with N-gain score 0.37, categorized as Average.

Analysing the Bioactive Compound of Earthworm Pheretima Javanica Extract by Using Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrum

Research Based Learning (RBL) is a learning method that uses contextual learning, authentic learning, problem solving, cooperative learning, hands on and minds on learning and inquiry learning. The STEM approach in learning is expected to provide meaning to students through the systematic integration of research-based knowledge, concepts and skills. STEM design begin with the identification of social problems. The social issue of typhoid fever cases caused by Salmonella enterica Typhi bacteria with a high mortality rate in the world is a public health problem. The existence of Pheretima javanica which is abundant in the environment can be utilized by conducting antibacterial activity testing and analysis of bioactive compounds by students on the form of the extract. This research is a development research carried out with the aim of developing a product and also a qualitative descriptive research which serves to provide an overview of the object. The steps in carrying out these tests were identified as part of learning that hone creative thinking skills. The results of the class experimental research showed that the N-Gain score was 0.8, which is in the high category. These results show that the application of developing problem-based learning tools with a STEM approach is effective. Learning outcomes contribute to the effort to find alternative drugs that are effective and do not cause resistance. In addition, students also produce scientific articles as learning products. This paper has implications for STEM integrated research-based learning.

The Efficacy of Transcription and Impersonation on Students’ Public Speaking Performance

The constant and repetitive implementation of conventional public speaking training in teaching English as a foreign language has resulted in predictability, determinism, and lack of innovations in students' public speaking performance. The notable explanation for this pattern is students' reading-oriented English speech presentation. Previous studies had primarily focused on promoting anxiety-free performance through instructional rehearsal methods and thus had yet to be able to uncover students' potential through independent rehearsals. This study highlights an experiment that investigated the self-rehearsal process using the Transcription and Impersonation technique to influence students' public speaking performance in English. Data from 10 student-participants from an Islamic school in Indonesia were used to test the influence threshold of the technique on their public speaking performance via pre- and post-test cycles. The data analysis technique incorporated an N-Gain score of 73.79%, implying that the technique was compelling enough to boost students' public speaking performance. The findings indicate that with the correct method, granting access to independent training, students could tackle the stiffness they experienced in English speech rehearsals and improve their ability in public speaking.

Keefektifan Pembelajaran Proyek Sains terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Sosial Emosional di TK Kenanga Kelompok B

The inability of group B children at Kenanga Kindergarten to solve problems and it is known that their social and emotional abilities are still low is the problem of this research. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of science project-based learning on the problem-solving and socio-emotional abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Kenanga Kindergarten, Karanganyar Village. The research approach is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type. The research sample consisted of 30 people and was divided into two sample classes (experimental samples and control samples). The research results show that the results of the t test for problem solving ability show a value of Sig. (2-tiled) 0.001 &lt; 0.005, which means there is a significant difference in the average value of the pretest and posttest problem solving ability variables. The N-Gain Score test is 78.23%, meaning that science project learning is effective in improving children's problem solving abilities. Meanwhile, the results of the social ability t test show the significance value of the t test Sig. (2-tiled) 0.015 &lt; 0.05, meaning there is a significant difference in the average pre-test and post-test scores for science project learning on children's social-emotional abilities. The n-gain score test results were 76.48%, this means that science project learning is effective in improving children's social emotional abilities.

Implementasi Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan PhET Simulation untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa di SMAN 2 Samarinda

This study aims to determine the improvement of physics learning outcomes using a problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulation media on effort and energy material. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with the Pre-Experimental Design method in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The population of this study comprised all students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 2 Samarinda, totaling 108 students, while the sample consisted of 36 students from class XI MIPA A at SMAN 2 Samarinda. Data collection was carried out using test techniques consisting of 10 essay questions given before and after treatment. This study used the N-Gain test as a statistical test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 11.33 and the average posttest score was 75.61. The category of improvement in student learning outcomes is classified as high based on the average N-Gain score of 0.73. These results indicate an increase in student learning outcomes after the treatment. Therefore, the implementation of a problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulation can be used as an alternative to improve physics learning outcomes.

Analysis of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachers' Understanding of Differentiated Learning Training for Merdeka Curriculum

Differentiated learning is crucial for addressing student diversity and ensuring all students have equal opportunities to achieve their learning objectives. Therefore, it is essential that teachers understand and implement these strategies in the classroom. This study analyzes Islamic primary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/MI) teachers' understanding of differentiated learning. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research involved 54 MI teachers (10 male and 44 female) from 34 MI schools in Babat Lamongan, East Java. Instruments included written tests and interviews. The written test featured a pre-test and post-test via the Quizizz application, while interviews followed the differentiated learning training. Data analysis combined quantitative and qualitative techniques. Quantitative results showed that the MI teachers' conceptual understanding, measured by the N-gain score, was 0.078, categorizing it as low. However, qualitative findings revealed that, post-training, MI teachers demonstrated a solid understanding of all indicators: explaining concepts, identifying characteristics, providing examples and non-examples, and applying differentiated learning strategies. The study concludes that training in differentiated learning significantly enhances teachers' understanding. Regular and consistent training is recommended to sustain and further develop teachers' expertise in this area.
