ALTHOUGH I cannot qualify as a historian of the long years of relations between the medical schools in Boston and the Boston City Hospital, I do know that that history encompasses years that were good and years that were lean. A mutual regard and a relation that have developed under both extremes of circumstance cannot possibly have a basis other than one of sincerity and mutual interdependence.
