The Innovation of Arabic Teaching Material Development in the Digital Era at Al-Fityan School Gowa IT High School

In facing the ever-evolving digital era, the development of Arabic teaching materials at Al-Fityan School Gowa IT High School requires innovations that are able to meet the needs of modern and effective learning. This article discusses various innovations applied in the development of Arabic teaching materials, ranging from the integration of multimedia technology to the utilization of interactive e-learning platforms. The main purpose of these innovations is to improve learning effectiveness, expand accessibility, and support students' various learning styles. Using qualitative research method through case study design, this article analyzes the implementation of digital technology in Arabic teaching materials at Al-Fityan School Gowa IT High School. Data were obtained through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed with three stages of Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis technique: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the use of mobile applications, learning videos and other digital aids significantly increased students' interest and understanding of Arabic. The article also identifies challenges faced, including limited infrastructure and teacher readiness. Recommendations are given for the continued development of adaptive and inclusive digital teaching materials, in order to create a more dynamic and effective Arabic learning experience in this digital era.

СУЧАСНІ ПІДХОДИ ДО ПРОСТОРОВОЇ ОРГАНІЗАЦІЇ МУЗЕЇВ ТА ЕКСПОЗИЦІЙ ПРОСТО НЕБА. ЄВРОПЕЙСЬКИЙ ДОСВІД

There are numerous open-air museums worldwide, and public spaces often incorporate both permanent and temporary outdoor exhibitions. Based on studies conducted on open-air museums and exhibitions in Vienna and its surrounding areas, as part of the academic cooperation program TU Vienna – TU Lviv, this article explores the European approach to the architectural and spatial organization of such institutions. Through this research, contemporary approaches to their architectural and spatial organization were examined, and both positive and negative aspects were highlighted. This article aims to analyze the distinct features of the architectural and spatial organization of European open-air museums and exhibitions, identifying their positive aspects and approaches that could be implemented in Ukraine. In Ukrainian studies, the topic of modern open-air museums is only gaining popularity and is not well presented. Hence, involving local scholars in this globally expanding field would be relevant. European open-air museums, particularly in Austria, show several trends in spatial organization, including a comprehensive approach, accessibility, family-oriented infrastructure, wide implementation of interactive elements, and integration of multimedia technologies. These museums blend original artifacts with modern enhancements to provide visitors with a unique experience. Noteworthy aspects observed in open-air museums and exhibitions, which are scarce or absent in Ukraine, include combining several neighboring objects into one museum complex, a large number of children's playgrounds, ample recreation and food areas, inclusiveness, infrastructure for dog walking, provision of venues for holding mass events, and onsite production and sale of themed merchandise in souvenir shops. The principles of spatial and architectural organization in open-air museums and exhibitions in Vienna and its vicinity boast several positive features that we believe are pertinent for implementation in Ukraine. Notably, interactivity to engage visitors and inclusivity, which is poised to be a pressing issue during Ukraine's post-war reconstruction, stand out as crucial aspects. The findings from this study can serve as a foundation for enhancing existing or designing new open-air museums in Ukraine.

The Role of Multimedia Technology in Enhancing Distance Learning

This study aims to analyze the role of multimedia technology in enhancing the effectiveness of distance learning in Banda Aceh. Multimedia technology, including videos, animations, simulations, and various online learning platforms, is believed to significantly enrich the teaching and learning process in remote educational environments. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method, utilizing surveys to collect data from students and teachers involved in distance learning across Banda Aceh. The study's population comprises students and teachers from schools that have adopted distance learning, with a randomly selected sample to ensure a representative distribution across different educational levels and socio-economic backgrounds. Data were gathered through questionnaires and interviews, and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings reveal that multimedia technology plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of distance learning. Among the various technologies, interactive videos and animations were identified as the most effective by both students and teachers. Additionally, the study found that the integration of multimedia technology received positive feedback, with respondents noting that it made learning more engaging and easier to comprehend. This research underscores the importance of incorporating multimedia technology in distance learning to improve educational quality in Banda Aceh. The study also provides recommendations for further teacher training and the development of more advanced multimedia-based educational tools. These findings are expected to contribute positively to educational policy development in Banda Aceh and serve as a reference for educators and educational technology developers

Strategy and Effectiveness Evaluation of the Integration and Development of Fuzhou Tea Picking Opera and Modern Multimedia Technology

Abstract This study utilizes multimedia technology to enhance the communication effect of Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera in order to help the relevant staff clarify the direction for the future development of Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera and social and cultural progress. It describes the role of modern multimedia technology in Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera, describes the specific application of virtual reality technology in Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera, and analyzes the performance characteristics of three-dimensional technology, three-dimensional display technology, and sensing and interaction technology applied to Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera. Finally, through empirical analysis, we test the hypothesis of the communication mechanism model of Fuzhou Tea Picking Opera based on multimedia technology and analyze the direct effect relationship between embodied environment and embodied perception, between embodied perception and communication effect, and the intermediary effect of embodied perception between embodied environment and communication effect. Based on a comparative analysis of the viewing experience, it was found that the viewing effect of Fuzhou Tea Picking Opera is improved after the integration of multimedia technology. In order to prevent multimedia technology from having a negative effect on the development of Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera, this paper finally puts forward the relevant suggestions for the integration of Fuzhou Tea Casting Opera and multimedia technology.

A comparative Use of Traditional and Multimedia Modes of Teaching Curriculum Studies in English

This study explored students’ preferences on the use of traditional versus multimedia modes of course delivery at the University of Eswatini. Since the advent of technology, the use of traditional and multimedia modes of teaching has received a lot of attention in research. Students’ preferences regarding either being taught in a traditional or technological way is one of the areas that has been investigated intensively, yielding different conclusions. This study was a cross-sectional survey. For data collection, the study used a five-point anchored Likert-scale. Forty-three (43) participants participated in the study. They completed a questionnaire that sought their preferences on the mode of teaching between two courses, CTE 319/519 and CTE320/520. CTE319/519 was taught using multimedia, and CTE 320/520 was taught using the traditional mode. To establish the trends in the students’ preferences, data were analyzed using the statistical package for social science (SPSS), mainly descriptive statistics. The mean, frequencies, modes, and standard deviation were the major domains for data interpretation. The results revealed that the students preferred the use of multimedia over the traditional mode of course delivery. However, when the data were further analyzed using the age-range, the older generation performed better than the younger generation in their preferences on the use of multimedia when teaching. Overall, the results have implications for the integration of multimedia technology when teaching English courses at tertiary.

University Network and New Media Advertising Teaching Design Features and Influence: Environmental Perspective Analysis in Campus Humanistic Governance.

Under the background of network development in the new era, the integration of multimedia technology and information technology promotes the development of teaching environment. Based on the influence of humanistic governance environment, the university network environment and the advertising teaching environment are constantly integrating new elements with the development of the times, becoming the key point to guarantee the teaching quality. In the research, the relevant data and information were collected and analyzed by the methods of inference and induction analysis. According to the sensory parameters of students' cognitive emotions (n = 64, a > 0.847), the standard deviation was 0.810/0.695 and the action was 0.927/0.655. How to construct the university network and advertising teaching environment were explored. And, in view of the design of the environment characteristics as well as the impact on students, the purpose was to ensure that students had a good learning environment, which could improve the learning efficiency.

Impact of multimedia technology integrated instruction on students' learning satisfaction in bhutanese classroom

In the present world of technology, students grow up with technological devices at home and in schools, which revolutionize the way they learn. Future education technology shall transform teaching and learning by providing teachers and students with a variety of new devices to work with. Thus, the study was designed to examine the impact of multimedia technology-integrated instruction on learning satisfaction of students studying at upper primary level in one of the countryside primary schools in Bhutan. A mixed methods research was adopted to ensure better understanding of the results. Following a purposive sampling technique, 45 students were selected as research samples. Over a period of three months, the participants were taught at least three lessons of science in a week using multimedia technology. Instruments such as open-ended questions and questionnaires were administered to assemble the data. The quantitative data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed and inferred using the inferential statistical t-test with significance p<0.05 and descriptive statistical mean and standard deviation. And qualitative data from open-ended questions were analyzed using the grounded theory coding system. The findings revealed that students were highly satisfied with learning science through multimedia technology, as it not only made the lessons easier to understand and lively to participate in, but also challenging and enjoyable. Furthermore, inferential statistics revealed that there was no statistically significant difference in satisfaction with learning between male and female students. Therefore, the researchers stipulated that the integration of multimedia technology assisted instruction had a large positive impact on increasing student learning satisfaction. The findings of this study were intended to inform curriculum reformers, educational leaders, and teachers with practical evidence that they should propose pedagogical change in classroom teaching and learning using multimedia technology.

Construction and Optimization of Higher Education Management System Based on Internet Video Online Technology

With the rapid development of information technology, the integration of multimedia technology and traditional institutional systems is increasing. However, at present, the establishment and construction of the higher education system in China are not proportional, the function is vague, and the communication efficiency is not high. The reason for this phenomenon is that the traditional higher education management system has been unable to meet the needs of information society and information integration and it is unable to meet the increasing demand for higher education. Therefore, based on the above reasons, it is very important and has long-term strategic significance to establish an efficient and convenient higher education management system based on today’s Internet multimedia technology in a timely and reasonable manner. This paper analyzes the current status of the higher education management system and the problems that are arisen and proposes a three-dimensional integrated management system based on the innovation of Internet multimedia technology. At the same time, aiming at the urgent needs of the current lifelong education of higher education, a reasonable system of higher education diversion is established to focus on solving the phenomenon of imbalanced proportions, ambiguous functions, and low communication efficiency. In the final practical part of this paper, the system model of the three-dimensional integrated education system and the corresponding practical solution to the education diversion are given. After discussion, it has practical application value. The results of the research have shown the effectiveness of the proposed study.

Research on Teaching Innovation of Basic Courses of Ideological and Political Education in Universities Integrating Computer Multimedia Technology

With the continuous progress of science and technology, multimedia technology has been applied to various fields, including biology, medicine, education and so on. The integration of multimedia technology provides a new learning environment for students, which not only expands students’ cognition, but also enriches their spare time life. Therefore, the integration of computer multimedia technology (hereinafter referred to as CMT), ideological and political (hereinafter referred to as IAP) education in Universities has been a great development. In this paper, a brief overview of multimedia technology as a starting point to explore its design and application in the IAP classroom. Contemporary education practice shows that modern information technology and the teaching of various disciplines show a trend of integration, which also has a significant impact on IAP education in Universities. This paper first analyzes the main enlightenment of integrating CMT. Then, this paper puts forward some suggestions. Finally, this paper constructs the teaching system environment based on CMT.

Professional English Teaching Model Based on Wireless Network Communication and Multimedia

The integration of multimedia technology and foreign language teaching has gradually become a contemporary key research topic under the trend of the integration of modern information technology and education. As an emerging method, multimedia‐assisted learning method can not only create a more realistic language learning environment but also make contributions in stimulating students’ willingness to learn and improving educational effects. However, sometimes it is used improperly, this method can easily lead to the teaching form being larger than the content, and the teaching effect may not be satisfactory. This article focuses on the characteristics of the professional English teaching model based on wireless network communication and multimedia, discusses the practical application of wireless network communication and multimedia technology in professional English teaching, and conducts a simple research on the professional English teaching model. Taking the professional English teaching model and the traditional multimedia teaching model of English as the research objects, two natural students are selected as the research objects, and they are divided into the experimental group and the control group. Statistical software is used to analyze the data in detail. The test results of the experimental class and the control class were analyzed before and after the experiment. The experimental results show that the professional English teaching model based on wireless network and multimedia has a significant teaching effect compared with the traditional English teaching model. Comparing the experimental group and the control group, English scores improved by 11%. The gap between the two groups is very obvious. As far as the scores of each part of the English test paper are concerned, the scores of each part of the experimental group are also higher than those of the control group. The professional English teaching model based on wireless network communication and multimedia turns out to be effective and popular among students.

Assessing in-service needs of basic school natural science teachers in New Juaben Municipality, Ghana

This study investigated in-service needs of basic school Natural Science teachers in the New Juaben Municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The study was to ascertain the in-service needs of 234 Natural Science teachers across gender. A questionnaire was used to collect data on the teachers’ feedback on eight dimensions of science teachers’ needs: generic pedagogical knowledge and skills, knowledge and skills in science subjects, managing and delivering science instruction, diagnosing and evaluating students, planning science instruction, administering science instructional facilities and equipment, integration of multimedia technology and the use of English language in science instruction. Data were descriptively analyzed, followed by chi square analysis. Results of the descriptive analysis demonstrate that the topmost in-service needs of Natural Science teachers were the acquisition of knowledge and skills in science subjects, generic pedagogical knowledge and skills and planning of science instruction. The chi square analysis did not yield significant association between gender and science teachers’ needs in all dimensions except knowledge and skills in science subjects. It was recommended among others that in-service organisers need to assess the in-service needs of participants before providing INSET services.

Research on the Multimedia Teaching in Chinese Universities

Multimedia technology integration is becoming a core part in the development of teaching. Multimedia teaching adapts to the needs of the higher education, and realizes three-dimensional teaching process. But we find that there are some problems in multimedia teaching in practice, such as misunderstanding of multimedia teaching methods, poor teaching effectiveness, etc. The main reasons are the irrational teacher evaluation system, poor ability of information teaching, etc. We should reform the teacher evaluation system, and strengthen the training of teachers and so on.

Embedding technology in translation teaching: evaluative considerations for courseware integration

This article shall discuss a number of factors to be considered in the process of integrating computer technology into the student language learning experience. It examines research on student attitudes and the factors that affect student engagement with the technology before looking at the experiences of a project undertaken at the University of Ulster aimed at integrating computer technology into the delivery of undergraduate classes on French translation. By drawing on the experience and examples in the project, this article shall conclude by outlining a number of issues to be considered in the integration of multimedia technologies in the delivery of language learning. This will include a range of considerations, such as student attitudes and level of comfort as well as pedagogical concerns.

What Malaysian Science Teachers Need to Improve their Science Instruction. A Comparison across Gender, School Location and Area of Specialization

This research looks specifically at the perceived needs of secondary school science teachers in Malaysia so that subsequent effective in-service programmes can be planned and implemented. The prime aim of this cross-sectional survey study is to ascertain the perceived needs of 1,690 practicing secondary school science teachers, characterized by gender, school location, and area of specialization. The main instrument used is a questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the instrument were systematically established through relevant test procedures. The questionnaire seeks feedback on the eight dimensions of science teachers’ needs: generic pedagogical knowledge and skills, knowledge and skills in Science subjects, managing and delivering science instruction, diagnosing and evaluating students, planning science instruction, administering science instructional facilities and equipment, integration of multimedia technology and the use of English language in science instruction. Data were descriptively analyzed, followed by a series of chi square analysis. Results of the descriptive analysis demonstrate that the most prevalent needs of the Malaysian secondary school science teachers are the integration of multimedia and the use of English in science instruction. When measures of association were gauged between the science teachers’ needs and the independent variables, it was found that significant associations exist. The associations were apparent between most of the dimensions of science teachers’ needs and school location.

Multi-Actor Information System for integrated coastal zone management

Regional authorities in coastal zones need to be supported in identifying the relevant stakeholders, their objectives, and means to resolve conflicting interests that have adverse impacts on the marine environment and sustainable development. We developed a Multi-Actor Information System (MAIS) that provides this type of support to regional authorities in the Banten Bay area, part of the province of West Java. The influence analysis module of MAIS was evaluated in a case study in the Bojonegara subdistrict. Structured interviews were conducted at 12 organizations to determine their interests, their means of control, and their inter-organizational dependencies. The case study provided regional authorities with important information about the potential for conflicts in the bay. The influence analysis identified relevant actors, issues, and means to resolve conflicts. The influence analysis also revealed additional parties and issues that have to be involved to prevent negative developments in the area. The user-friendly integration of multimedia technology and concepts of social network analysis into MAIS provides the regional authorities with a powerful tool for future monitoring and assessment of potential conflict situations in the Banten Bay.

Innovations in Integrating Technology Into Student Teaching Experiences

AbstractThis study describes the implementation of a project designed to improve the preparation of Grade 3–8 mentor and student teachers to teach mathematics and science through the integration of multimedia technology and pedagogy. Project goals were implemented through (a) joint training, (b) ongoing support, and (c) provision of hardware and software. Both phases of the Interactive Video Project—the summer training institute and the fall semester implementation of the program—were evaluated. Based on the evidence, the project proved to be successful. Student teachers were better prepared to integrate technology in their classrooms. Mentor teachers changed the way they taught mathematics and the tools students used to find and present information in science.

A framework for the integration of expert systems with multimedia technologies

Abstract Expert system (ES) technology allows the capture and replication of expertise in an application domain. So far, the type of data that is used by an expert system for its reasoning process remains primarily alphanumeric. Image, graphics, and other dynamic data such as voice and video are part of an emerging technology generally termed multimedia technology. This article highlights the critical issues in building a successful application combining the two technologies. Based on these critical issues, it also provides a framework for the integration of multimedia technology with expert systems technology.
