Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Pembiasaan Nilai-Nilai Cinta Al-Qur'an Pada Peserta Didik

Purpose- This study aims to explore how Islamic religious education is being implemented at MI Birrul Walidain Darussalam Tangerang through the values of the religion of love Al-Qur’an Learning Tahsin and Tahfidz, reveal the implications of using this strategy and reveal development plans for the future. Methods- This study uses qualitative methods to conduct field research. Primary and secondary data are two different categories of data. Techniques for collecting data include observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings - The results of this study indicate that 1). The implementation of learning to Love the Qur’an through Tahsin and Tahfidz at MI Birrul Walidain Batuceper has 3 aspects, namely in terms of planning, implementation and evaluation, 2). The implementation of the use of learning the Love of the Qur’an, namely Tahsin and Tahfidz at MI Birrul Walidain Batuceper is that the teacher can deepen the knowledge of the Qur’an and repeat the memorization that has been owned, reduces student difficulties, students have better morals, understand more content of verses, more disciplined, hardworking, patient, independent, honest, grades can be on target, achievers, have a good impact on the environment, a school atmosphere that loves the Qur’an, parents of students participate in Tahsin learning, and alumni become donors, and 3 ). The plan for developing the Tahsin and Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning strategy at MI Birrul Walidain Batuceper for the future is to make a special Tahsin and Tahfidz program, hold seminars, memorize the Al-Qur’an community, train teachers, make it a special class, make certificates, graduation, acceleration, allocating funds, freeing tuition fees, facilitating students to enter universities, requirements for taking diplomas, and cooperation with Tahfidz institutions

Confessional Religious Education at School in the Face of Contemporary Challenges Based on the Polish Experience

Religious education is a standard in European schools, but it is implemented according to different models. Against this background, Poland, with its confessional religious education for which churches and religious associations are responsible, appears as a certain model. However, is this kind of religious education able to meet the needs of today’s children and young people? This article begins with a brief description of religious education in Poland and then focuses on the characteristics of contemporary changes that affect all areas of human life, including religiousness. The hypothesis of the authors, which has found its justification in the proposed text, is the conviction that confessional religious education is able to respond to the needs of its contemporary addressees, but it must also have the ability to change and adapt, especially from the perspective of didactics. It is also important to be able to function in the reality of pluralism and complexity, as well as in the increasingly widespread computerization.

Fostering Critical Thinking About the Critique of Religion: An Empirical Multi-Case Analysis

Having the right to criticize religion is important for healthy democracies. However, much critique of religion has led to increased levels of polarization. This article explores how religious education can help facilitate critical thinking regarding the critique of religion. By analyzing actual teaching practices about the critique of religion, this article contributes to the field of religious education research in three ways. First, it contributes empirically to the field of religious education, which to a limited degree has studied authentic classroom practices through observations. Second, it contributes theoretically to the field by analyzing which contextual dependencies of teaching facilitate critical thinking about the critique of religion. Third, this study builds on and adds to the prior research about the critique of religion within religious education, which has mainly been theoretical.

Religious Doubts and Emotions Toward God in Adolescents: Relation to Self-Esteem and Meaning in Life

Religious doubt (RD) and emotions toward God (EtGs) are areas of religiosity and spirituality that can play a role in the development and well-being of youth. The aim of this study is to investigate whether RD and EtGs are related to self-esteem and meaning in life in adolescents and what factors may be associated with them in a secular setting. A sample of Czech adolescents (n = 984, mean age 16.61, SD 1.21; 28% male) participated in the online survey. We measured RD, EtGs, meaning in life (ML) divided into presence (ML-P) and seeking (ML-S), adolescents’ self-esteem (ASE), faith in the adolescent environment, the perception of religion and church, and religious education (RE). RD and negative EtGs were associated with reduced ML-P. Negative EtGs were associated with a reduction in ASE. However, positive EtGs were associated with an increase in ML-P. Respondents experiencing faith in their environment, having a positive view of church and religion, and enriching RE were more likely to report a decrease in RD and an increase in positive EtGs and vice versa. Our findings suggest that RD and EtGs are related to adolescents’ well-being and point to factors to be adequately addressed to minimize the negative impact of RD and promote positive EtGs.

Membangun Kesadaran Lingkungan Melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Sekolah Dasar

Citizenship education plays an essential role in developing children's character, in line with moral, character and character education. This program aims to produce good citizens based on the values ??of Pancasila, which is the culture of the Indonesian nation. Building environmental awareness through citizenship education in elementary schools is very important, because it helps students understand their responsibilities towards the environment. The five principles of Pancasila are basic values ??that have developed into instrumental and rational values, creating a generation that cares about others and preserving nature. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature study, collecting data from various relevant literature such as books, journals and official documents related to education citizenship in Indonesia. The data collection process began with a literature review through academic databases such as Google Scholar and JSTOR, followed by literature selection based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data is then categorized according to themes to produce an in-depth understanding of this topic. Civic education lessons have an important role in building environmental awareness by introducing the concepts of citizens' rights and obligations and environmental protection. Although there are challenges in integrating environmental education, there are opportunities to develop environmentally caring characters in students. Therefore, it is important to instill environmental awareness from an early age in everyday life, both at school and outside school.

Need for ICT adoption in the teaching of Christian religious education at the basic education level in Nigeria

The acquisition of essential skills and knowledge is considered a primary aim of education to effectively navigate and succeed in various aspects of life. In modern times, the role involves proactive engagement in a society that is rich in information, where knowledge is considered the primary driver for the socio-cultural and politico-economic progress of nations. The teaching and learning of religious education has not fully utilized the abundant resources available in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) era, owing to several limitations. This study analyzed the current status of religious education during this era, as well as the factors that facilitate, inhibit or hinder the integration of ICT in Nigerian basic education level. The research provides recommendations for the effective integration of ICT initiatives in the teaching of Christian religious education within Nigerian basic education level in the contemporary era. The study employed quasi-experimental design. The research suggests that it would be beneficial for Nigerian basic education level to be equipped with contemporary computer laboratories by the appropriate authorities, for the benefit of both basic education level students and teachers.

Releasing financial pressure through released time religious education: the fiscal impact of one released time programme on a state’s funding for public education

ABSTRACT We sought to quantify the fiscal impact of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ released time programme in the state of Utah, in the United States of America, on funding for American public education. The guiding research question for this study was: How much money does the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ seminary programme save public education in the state of Utah? We collected data from one school district in Utah and then extrapolated those findings, on a per pupil basis, to the entire state. Findings are reported in three approximates of the actual fiscal impact of the Church’s seminary programme in Utah: high, medium, and low. Our conclusion is that the actual fiscal impact of seminary on funding for public education lies within this reported range. We report that the Church’s seminary programme saves the state of Utah between $45,000,000 and $64,000,000 annually. While these figures only constitute 0.6% to 0.8% of the total funding for public education, this released time programme provides district officials with financial and scheduling flexibility. In addition, there are indirect fiscal benefits associated with seminary as well as direct and indirect costs.

Peran Guru PAI dalam Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa melalui Penguatan Relasi Vertikal Dengan Allah SWT

This study aims to understand the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMP Negeri 05 Sinunukan in improving students' spiritual intelligence through strengthening vertical relationships with Allah SWT. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with PAI teachers, students, principals, and school staff, while observations were made on religious activities such as getting students used to reading prayers and the Qur'an before starting learning Obliging and guiding students to pray zhuhur in congregation. Documentation involved collecting documents related to the PAI program. Data were analyzed by reduction, presentation, and verification of findings through data triangulation. The results showed that PAI teachers not only delivered religious materials but also acted as role models, integrating religious theory with real practices. Activities such as praying together and helping students apply religious values in everyday life by guiding students to pray zhuhur in congregation. And positive interactions between teachers and students. Students show improvement in their understanding and application of religious values, and feel the positive impact in their lives.

Analisis Strategi Pengembangan Kemandirian Ekonomi Pesantren dalam Menunjang Ekosistem Halal di Kabupaten Bangkalan

Pesantren as a traditional Islamic educational institution has a significant role in the life of Indonesian society, especially in areas where the majority of the population is Muslim, such as in Bangkalan Regency, Madura. Because over time, apart from being an educational institution, pesantren also have an important role in the social and religious life of the community, not only focusing on religious education, but also starting to play a role in the economic sector, especially in developing the economic independence of pesantren which is expected to support the halal ecosystem. The main objective of this study is to find out the strategies of pesantren in increasing economic independence as well as its impact on the halal ecosystem. This study also provides recommendations regarding the development of collaboration with various parties to optimize the potential of the halal ecosystem in Madura. In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. Researchers will examine in depth the Al Falah Kepang Islamic Boarding School in Bangkalan Regency which is active in developing an independent economy. Data will be collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This approach was chosen to comprehensively explore the strategies implemented by pesantren that influence the development of the halal ecosystem.

The Reality and Practical Pathways of Enhancing College Students' Internet Literacy

In the Internet era, internet literacy is not only a new mission endowed to college students by contemporary social development but also fulfills the inherent needs for personal growth and progress. The cultivation and enhancement of college students' internet literacy in the new era is not only linked to the construction of network power and the effectiveness of the fundamental task of running schools with moral education; it is also a necessary path to promoting students' comprehensive development. However, there are still some deficiencies in the internet literacy of college students at present, which need to be addressed and improved urgently. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the practical difficulties and optimization paths for enhancing college students' internet literacy, guiding them to become practitioners, promoters, pioneers, and defenders of a clear network space.

Moral education and social transformation: The Jesus model

Educational institutions are expected to play a significant role in preparing people to function well in society. Although critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary, people also need to have a social conscience. Educators should, therefore, pay more attention to moral education. Jesus Christ developed and implemented a moral education curriculum and there is a record of that in the New Testament. An examination of it reveals that Jesus built his training around social issues and that he employed a strategy that bears some similarity to Mezirow’s transformation learning theory: his audience was adult and he called upon his students to process disorienting dilemmas, drawing them to reflect critically on assumptions from which was to come mindset change and, ultimately, behavior change. Whereas Mezirow focused on individual experiences and individual transformation, Jesus planned to impact the world—Jewish society and far beyond it—through bands of disciples working in concert. Educators who seek to contribute to social transformation through moral education should consider following the Jesus model which is outlined in this paper.

The Influence of Financial Literacy and Islamic Business Ethics on Investment in Islamic Financial Instruments: The Mediating Role of Risk Attitude and the Moderating Role of Religious Knowledge

Current challenges in the Islamic banking sector highlight the urgent need to understand the factors influencing ethical and informed investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy and Islamic business ethics on investment in Islamic financial instruments, focusing on the mediating role of risk attitude and the moderating role of religious knowledge. Data were collected through a primary method by distributing questionnaires to 300 bank customers and students in Aceh, Indonesia. The model employed is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using Smart PLS software. The findings reveal that financial literacy significantly positively impacts investment decisions and risk attitudes. Islamic business ethics also significantly influence both investment decisions and risk attitudes. Religious knowledge positively affects investment decisions, while risk attitude has a positive impact on investments. However, the moderating effects of risk attitude and religious knowledge on investment are not significant. Risk attitude serves as a crucial mediator in the relationship between financial literacy and investment, as well as between Islamic business ethics and investment. The study underscores the importance of financial literacy, Islamic business ethics, religious knowledge, and risk attitude in shaping investment behavior in the Islamic finance sector, and highlights the need for integrating ethical practices to enhance investment outcomes.

Research on Teaching Idea Innovation of University Physical Education Teachers

This study takes the teaching reform concept of university PE teachers in the new era as the research object, and uses the literature method, logical analysis method and inductive deduction method to deeply analyze the development opportunity and realistic bottleneck of the teaching innovation concept of university PE teachers. The research shows that the teaching innovation concept of university PE teachers faces new challenges, and the generalization of education consciousness and the motivation of concept innovation of university PE teachers are insufficient. "Cultivating morality and cultivating people" as the basic task of education, the author puts forward the concept of "moral education first" in the innovation of teaching concept of physical education teachers in universities. Unveiling the intersection of technology and pedagogy: a domain-specific exploration for developing religious moderation content with an exploratory and Rasch Perspective

ABSTRACT The primary aim of this study was to investigate the construct validity of a survey focussing on the use of technology and teaching techniques to promote religious moderation, employing exploratory factor analysis (EFA). A total of 116 educators, who teach character development courses, were recruited to participate in the study. The developed instrument is based on the Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework and has been validated through expert and cognitive interviews with religious education lecturers. The study’s results demonstrate that participants were able to discern conceptual distinctions between TPACK domains. Four factors were identified: TPACK, Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Knowledge (TK), and Pedagogical Knowledge (PK). TPACK encompasses both Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) and Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), while PCK includes Content Knowledge (CK). Additionally, Rasch statistical analysis was employed to determine that the instrument measures a single latent variable, namely religiously moderated TPACK, with high reliability based on the fit of the scale to the Rasch model. The statistical data from the EFA and Rasch analyses suggest that this survey can serve as a valuable tool for researchers and educators interested in exploring TPACK within the context of religious moderation.

Opportunities and Challenges of the Merdeka Curriculum in the Islamic Religious Education Subject at SMA Negeri 1 Sakra, East Lombok

Education in Indonesia is undergoing significant transformation in tandem with technological advancements, with the Merdeka Curriculum emerging as a response to the demands of the modern era, particularly in the context of Industry 4.0. This curriculum introduces flexibility and innovation in learning approaches but also encounters challenges such as resource limitations and the necessity for teacher training. At SMA Negeri 1 Sakra in East Lombok, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum since the 2022/2023 academic year has presented opportunities for more varied and inclusive teaching methods, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), while also confronting challenges in balancing theological and practical aspects.This research aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of the Merdeka Curriculum within the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMA Negeri 1 Sakra, East Lombok Regency. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a descriptive naturalistic method, the study focuses on direct observation and a holistic understanding of the phenomena at SMA Negeri 1 Sakra, East Lombok. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, employing interactive analysis based on the Miles and Huberman model to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.The findings of this study reveal that the opportunities perceived by SMA Negeri 1 Sakra, East Lombok, after implementing the Merdeka Curriculum include enhanced enthusiasm among educators to develop their capacities, increased student engagement and activity in the classroom, and the school's ability to cultivate a learning ecosystem that is more student-centered. However, the school also faces challenges, such as the need to shift the mindset of both teachers and students, the task of harmonizing diverse Islamic values among students and teachers, the difficulty of creating enjoyable and high-quality learning experiences, and the issue of resource constraints.

Analysis of the Current Situation and Optimization Paths of Teaching Quality in Rural Primary Schools in Ganzi Prefecture under the Background of “Double Reduction”

To further implement the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, the country issued the “double reduction” policy in 2021. Nowadays, the whole country is reducing the academic burden on students with unprecedented policy intensity. Although the development speed of education in ethnic regions is relatively slow, this policy has also been gradually promoted and implemented in the basic education stage. This article takes “double reduction” as the background and observes the current situation of teaching quality in rural primary schools in Ganzi Prefecture through questionnaires and interviews. It analyzes the objective factors in three aspects: learning quality, teaching quality, and management quality, and proposes optimization paths for teaching quality.

Faith and Reason: Reinventing Scholasticism in Postmodern Philippine Catholic Education

This paper aims to present the necessity of a new scholastic movement as an intellectual and religious movement and to reinvent it in the context of 21st Century Philippine Catholic Education. This reinvention of Scholasticism aims to design a curriculum for Senior high school students in order to equip them in understanding and defending the Catholic Faith and Teachings. Since the Catholic Church is facing the problems given by postmodernism and atheism, there is a need for another scholastic movement to counter these problems. This paper uses in-depth and comprehensive analysis of texts related to reinvention of scholastic movement in the 21st Century. The researcher used Purposive Sampling technique to carefully select the articles based on their relevance to the reinvention of scholastic movement. This paper uses updated and relevant research papers for analysis. In addition, to argue that there is a need for a new scholastic movement in Philippine Catholic education, the Hegelian dialectic was used, the idea of history repeating itself became the start point of this paper to argue that this is philosophical sound and valid. This paper examines the necessity of the 21st Century Philippine Catholic Education to the reinvented scholastic movement and it also offers a comprehensive curriculum design to reinvent scholasticism in education. Since, it aims to craft a curriculum which is anchored to apologetics and scholasticism, this proposed curriculum can equip the students to be effective Christians who will defend the church and its teachings. With this, the Religious Education for Grade 11 and Grade 12 will be a strong foundation of Catholic Faith in the 21st Century Philippine Education for Catholic schools.

Research on the Infiltration of Scientific Spirit in High School Biology Teaching Under the Background of Curriculum Ideology and Politics

Curriculum thinking and politics is an exploration of moral education reform and a strategic measure to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating people. High school is a key period for students to form correct values. In addition to ideological and political courses, other courses also need to play the function of educating people, and take courses as the carrier to provide value guidance to students in the process of knowledge imparting and ability training. High school biology is a fundamental course in natural sciences and an important carrier for cultivating students’ scientific literacy. However, through questionnaire surveys and interviews at internship schools, it was found that the infiltration of scientific spirit into high school biology teaching is not ideal. Teachers have insufficient understanding of ideological and political education in the curriculum, and they cannot fully tap into educational materials in textbooks. The methods for infiltrating scientific spirit are relatively single, making it difficult to balance ideological and political infiltration with knowledge teaching. This article selects the scientific spirit as an ideological and political element based on the needs of national development and the characteristics of the discipline, and permeates it into biology teaching. Finally, the teaching effectiveness is evaluated through various methods. The aim is to enrich the theoretical research of thinking and politics in senior biology curriculum, and to provide teaching reference for teachers to cultivate students’ scientific spirit in biology teaching. After conducting questionnaire surveys and interviews with students and teachers, the following conclusions were drawn: firstly, although the teachers and students of the school have a limited understanding of ideological and political education in the curriculum, most of them support the integration of ideological and political education into biology teaching. Secondly, some teachers still place more emphasis on imparting knowledge in their teaching and have not fully utilized the educational value of biology. The implementation of ideological and political education in biology teaching is not ideal. Thirdly, overall, the penetration of scientific spirit in biology teaching is not satisfactory and needs further strengthening. In summary, teachers need to strengthen their exploration of textbooks and deepen their understanding of teaching design in their daily teaching process, in order to continuously improve their ideological and political education for students and fully leverage the educational value of biology. Integrating scientific spirit into biology teaching is not only in line with the ideological and political concepts of the curriculum, but also in line with the core competencies of the discipline, which can better leverage the educational value of biology.

Development of an AI Moral Education Assessment Tool: Identifying and Validating Key Factors through Factor Analysis

This research identified factors contributing to the development of an effective moral education evaluation tool in the context of Artificial Intelligence by using Factor Analysis By exploring these factors , the study seeks to enhance the quality of moral education and provide valuable insights for education administrators.Three hundred respondents who were actively involved in moral education programs at Yichun University in China were selected as participants in this study.Based on the factor analysis, there are five (5) factors that were extracted in the development of moral education and these are: training and support, ethical principles and guidelines, educational innovation, educational technological advancement, and acceptability and adaptability.
