Every model or style of leadership has its own characteristics. It happened because of the way how the leader leads. Is the leader uses otoriter style, democratic, or leizesfeire. All of those styles need the maximum resuld for an organization. This resuld will lead the organization to be better organization in the future. In the educational’ organization, one of the effective style of leadership is a transformative leadership. The model always move dynamically. The leader gives the examples to his follower by his charisma. While, the followers also follow the leader because of the motivation given by his leader. Therefore, a synergic relationship between the leader and the follower will happen. They will be together to carry their organization to be better. This process happens countinuoustly. Organization will be better time by time. This model of course has special character to be understood detaily. By knowing the characteristic, it is hooped can be understood its influence to the organization which always goes ahead.

Individual And Institutional Professional Leadership in Vocational Education and Training: Motives, Beliefs and Styles

Vocational education and training (VET in Australia, PVET in Europe), as a unified endeavour, has to balance the comparative wealth of the peak universities with the needs of the community and young people for the employabilty that VET can provide. VET needs to promote its scope and strengths collectively and individually, and we analyse some of them. The subtext is that the paper highlights the features of leading institutions on which institutions can model their future development. There is no one unewuivocal model of course, so this paper senitises leaders to salient issues.

Implementasi Model PBL-Pedati dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Diklat Kewirausahaan Sosial

This study aims to improve the learning quality of Social Entrepreneurship Training by using the PBL-PEDATI model. An indicator of the increased quality of education and training is the increase in higher order thinking skills (HOTS) of training participants. The research method is "Classroom Action Research", the research subjects of the training participants are 20 participants. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and tests, descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The results showed that there was an increase in the average score of tasks from the average score of 3.09 on task 1 which increased on task 2 to an average score of 3.47. In conclusion, the application of the PBL-PEDATI model in social entrepreneurship training can improve the higher-order thinking skills of the training participants. Suggestions to future researchers to implement the PBL-PEDATI model in courses that invite training participants to think analytically, critically, and creatively.

Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia since February 2020 until now and there is no sign of abating. All activities are carried out at home and are generally carried out through an online system. There is no exception for the teaching and learning process that involves teaching staff and students must implement the learning from home method or study from home. Understanding the principles and factors that affect the effectiveness of applying digital technology in learning is very important. Therefore, the research was carried out with the aim of being able to determine the level of student understanding of the face-to-face learning model in the S1 Building Engineering Education Study Program before the Covid-19 pandemic and students' understanding of the online lecture model during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the effectiveness model of online lectures in courses during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive research study. The object of research is student understanding (academic years 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/20200), which includes understanding before the Covid-19 pandemic and understanding during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subject of the research is the S1 Building Engineering Education Study Program, Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Unesa. The results of this study are expected to reveal the level of understanding of students with the face-to-face learning model and the level of understanding of students with the online lecture model as well as the effectiveness of the online lecture model in courses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Modeling of growth and development of modal fir and spruce stands in Middle Siberia

At present, a significant area of Siberian dark coniferous forests is characterized by a significant decrease in resistance due to recurrent forest fires, mass reproduction of insect pests and diseases, which leads to their natural degradation and death. However, the intensity of the growth processes of the coniferous stand under certain forest conditions persists in the long term. Therefore, the creation of regression models of the course of forest growth with the identification of forest conditions is very important both from the point of view of practice and environmental monitoring. The object of the study was the stands of Siberian fir (Abies sibirica Ledeb) and Siberian spruce (Picea obovate Ledeb) of bonitet classes III-IV, growing in the conditions of the West Siberian southern taiga plain forest region on the territory of the Yenisei forestry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The initial data for studying the processes of natural growth of fir and spruce plantations were the materials of the mass inventory of 11097 units. As a result of the work carried out for modal fir-spruce stands, concentrated in the territory of Central Siberia (Yenisei forestry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory), regression models of the growth course have been developed, which make it possible to predict the dynamics of taxation indicators and reproduce the succession picture of the development of stands.

Tecnologias, múltiplas linguagens e práticas pedagógicas na formação superior a distância

O uso de tecnologias na educação deve considerar as especificidades da área do conhecimento para, então, propor a demanda de seu uso pedagógico (SHULMAN, 1986; 1987; KOEHLER; MISHRA, 2005; 2008; OLIVEIRA; PICONEZ, 2016). Na Educação a Distância (EaD), os processos, metodologias e materiais costumam ser bastante padronizados, por questões de tempo e custos de produção. O presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar as práticas pedagógicas na EaD consideradas adequadas às áreas de conhecimento, considerando a visão de professores, alunos e mediadores. Para tanto, está em desenvolvimento uma pesquisa institucional em uma universidade pública virtual no Estado de São Paulo, que propõe o desenvolvimento de um modelo de oferta de disciplinas considerando as especificidades de cada área do conhecimento, tendo como base a tabela da Capes. Assim, após a organização das disciplinas ofertadas na instituição de acordo com as áreas do conhecimento, foram realizados grupos focais e aplicação de questionários com o público da universidade, para o levantamento das práticas pedagógicas mais adequadas para cada área. Será proposto um conjunto de práticas pedagógicas para cada área e espera-se que uma nova definição de modelo de oferta de disciplinas, com a participação de toda a comunidade acadêmica, gere possibilidades acordadas ao modelo pedagógico adotado pela instituição e que também sirvam de parâmetro inclusive para outras instituições, além de promover a melhoria da organização interna da instituição no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos.

Game Laboratory Usage Model for Game Development and Simulation Projects

The use of laboratories in indonesia’s universities are usually only used as a means of learning for teaching activity. Unlike the use of europe’s laboratories, not only a means of supporting teaching, but can also be used for research, project development, training and others. Therefore, this study try to applied laboratory models that can be used not only for teaching activity. In this study, 4 models were applied for laboratory use including Teaching Models, Project Models, Evaluation Models and Research Models. The results obtained from the application of this model are the existence of mapping and learning models for courses that support each other in producing game development projects, and the results of evaluations of game development that can be used as research. With this, the use of a game laboratory can be more optimal.

The practice of learning, to acquire success, has so far been measured by the level of effectiveness with a percentage range from 0% to 100% and converted into values E to A. While in the science of knowledge, learning outcome is measured by effectiveness, efficiency, and attractiveness. Dwiyogo's research [1][2] and 2015 developed a tuition design model that combines face-to-face schooling using offline resources (print, audio, video, computer) and online knowledge training (internet and smart phones) known as Blended Learning-Based Instruction Design Models. Numerous studies have been conducted to test the potency, capability, and fascination of learning. However, the objectives of this study with respect to Dwiyogo’s model are: (1) examining experts on it usage, (2) applying the model in courses, and (3) testing the productivity, and capability.This research makes use of the survey and quasi-experimental design methods. The data consists of a total of 3 experts, 113 students, and 6 teachers with result showing that the blended learning model using eight items produced huge output (= 4.750, SD = 0.361). Based on the components of the expert test, it can be concluded that the learning model developed is appropriate and can be implemented. Student opinion with respect to this model showed a high level of agreement (= 3.415, SD = 0.536). This shows that students who applied blended learning based instruction models responded positively to its implementation. Therefore, this technique can enhance knowledge thereby, making the act of efficient, effective, and instruction appeal.

The role of beliefs in teacher professionalisation for multilingual classroom settings

AbstractThis paper describes and discusses findings gained in a teacher training reform project at the University of Hamburg in Germany. In a newly implemented structure, pre-service teachers partake in an integrated model of courses that prepare them to deal with multilingualism in the subject classroom. For the first four semesters of the new model, a complex evaluation tool was employed in a pre-post design to better understand student competence development, curricular components of the teaching degree and student beliefs about multilingualism. This paper sheds light on the professional beliefs that pre-service teachers have about linguistic diversity and multilingual learners. The overall results show generally positive beliefs about multilingual learners, multilingualism in schools, and language support for multilingual learners. Moreover, the data show that multilingual pre-service teachers have more positive beliefs, female participants have more positive beliefs, and that there is a significant interdependence between beliefs and relevant opportunities to learn. Comparing the pre-test and the post-test data using explorative factor analysis, it can be shown that students’ beliefs are far more structured and follow a clear five-dimensional pattern in the post test, whereas the pre-test data can be described as diffuse and unstructured.

The application of Research Based Learning Model in electric power system protection course

The learning model should be adapted to the learning needs of today and the future. The achievement of student learning in each competency courses one of which depends the learning model used. Among the models of learning that develop current that brings the students can develop their ability in mastering the learning material is Research Based Learning (RBL) model. This model focuses on the students as learning resources that integrate research in learning. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of student learning on courses of electric power system protection after used RBL model. This study applies the nine-step RBL model in courses of electric power system protection consisting of identifying research topic, objectives and research question, research tools both data collection tools and intervention tools, applying theory, research methodology and design, data analysis, results and discussion, recommendation, and strengthen of the research. After using the RBL model in learning then an increase in measurable student learning outcomes in the assessment of the effectiveness of formative and summative evaluation.

It is proposed model of course, which includes names of structural elements of the program of the course. The article describes the course, which allows to provide description of natural science picture of the world that will allow to form a general cultural competence in humanitarian specialties students.

Teses e dissertações brasileiras sobre BIM: uma análise do período de 2013 a 2018

Este trabalho identifica e analisa teses e dissertações disponíveis no Catálogo de teses e dissertações da CAPES que foram defendidas no Brasil entre 2013 e 2018 e tratam da Modelagem da Informação da Construção ou Building Information Modelling (BIM). Objetiva apresentar um panorama sobre os principais temas abordados nestas pesquisas, assim como identificar onde foram realizadas. Ainda, é feito um recorte sobre aqueles trabalhos que discutem questões sobre o ensino de BIM buscando contribuir com a implantação desta modelagem nos cursos relacionados com a Arquitetura, Engenharia, Construção e Operação de edificações (AECO). A Análise de Conteúdo foi o método de pesquisa qualitativa adotado para realizar tanto a seleção quanto a análise dos trabalhos. Dentre os resultados obtidos, destaca-se que: (a) já existem trabalhos sobre BIM nas diversas fases do ciclo de vida da edificação, mas a maioria deles trata da etapa de projetação; (b) 78,3% das pesquisas encontradas foram produzidas no eixo sul-sudeste do país e em instituições de ensino sediadas nas capitais e grandes cidades, indicando a necessidade de interiorização e difusão do BIM em outras regiões; (c) existe uma diversidade de temas já pesquisados relacionados com o BIM que encaminham questões sobre a modelagem e podem auxiliar na sua adoção tanto em instituições de ensino quanto no mercado de trabalho. Finalmente, este artigo contribui para adoção desta modelagem no país, na medida em que sistematiza informações já disponíveis, auxiliando tanto aqueles que buscam se capacitar quanto aqueles que promovem formações ou pretendem trabalhar com BIM.

Integrated Model of Course Based on Edu-Communication and Psycho-Communication in Learning

Pedagogical practices should enable the development of skills and abilities common to the health professions for the training of general practitioners with a high technical and scientific level. The most important in the teaching-learning process is the joint construction of knowledge. Depending on the quality of communication is that access to the individual’s conscious or unconscious will be done with greater or lesser potentiality. The present work presents an integrated model of course that is based on Edu-communication and Psycho-communication, and learning Psycho-communication, also using problematization about public health situations, as well as online learning design concepts. At the end of the course, students present educational products that contribute to the improvement or resolve of the identified health problem. The development of educational products was based on principles of behavioral theories: the structure of personality according to Eric Berne, the use of the senses, and neurolinguistics through the structuring of anchors. The graphic representation of the course shows a focus on Guidance and Support, Content and Activities, as well as Communication and Collaboration. The learning teaching process has a dynamicity capable of surprising us every day, every moment. Students demonstrate empathy with the course and present various educational products that have been available for use in health education.

Conceptual design and empirical study of a personal learning environment and network (PLE&N) to support peer-based social and lifelong learning

PurposeThis paper aims to describe a conceptual design of Personal Learning Environment & Network (PLE&N) and a learning model developed in support of peer-based social and lifelong learning in higher education, which collaborate with classroom learning.Design/methodology/approachThe model consists of students, instructors and external parties interacting synergistically in learning in PLE&N-enabled courses based on the collaborative designs of instructor-led pedagogical approach and external parties-assisted lifelong learning “first-mover” development. The research constructs, tests and assesses this model in courses of 12 subjects in nearly two years.FindingsThe practicality of the designs is evidenced in post-course surveys and reflected by students’ ability in productively using collaborative resources over the internet to create an ever-expanding personal learning space stretching from home to campus and beyond, oriented toward individuality, universality, ubiquity, interactivity and connectivity.Originality/valueThe research contributes to PLE&N, social and lifelong learning seamless integration in theory and practice to dramatically enhance students’ virtual learning skills.

Improving Learner’s Cognitive Learning Skills in Course based Learning Environment

Objectives: The existing metadata standards in e-learning domain have been subject to much criticism for its lack of explicit category of metadata to allow cognitive-based description of learning resources. In order to overcome the deficiency of existing metadata standards, this research work proposed the content model for course based e-learning environment. Methods/Statistical Analysis: A course-based e-learning approach is employed to assist the students in constructing their own knowledge, by taking cognitive constraints into consideration. We are proposing the semantic based framework to describe the educational material for the course based learning environment. Findings: The researcher examined the required background knowledge for cognitive thinking, the differences between knowledge and cognition and then proposed the semantic based structuring of course contents for providing adaptable and intelligent learning environment. Application/Improvements: The proposed course content model influences the thinking skills, cognitive behaviour of learner and to overcome the deficiency of existing metadata standards.

Application of Education Management and Lesson Study in Teaching Mathematics to Students of Second Grade of Public School in District 3 of Tehran

The present paper studies the effects of lesson study as a sample of participative researches in classroom as well as Behrangi Education Management Model in courses by aiming at exploring and allowing students to use the indexes of course concepts as an effective model in learning. The research plan is pre-test, posttest with control group type. In this research, first the characteristics of lesson study in professional development of teachers through participative research and improving students’ learning have been studied, followed by discussing the ten commands or ten steps of implementing education management model in teaching curriculum as well as using modern and suitable teaching models. The subjects were selected at random from five lesson study pilot schools in district 3 and were taught and tested accordingly. The measurement tools which are used in this research included teacher-developed education progress test underwent contents validity and reliability examination and their reliability was examined by reliability method which was agreed by assessor. That is, the papers were given to a number of paper correctors for scoring. The scoring scale was 1 to 14. The teaching was carried out in two methods of lesson study and education management for teaching mathematics to second grade boy students at public elementary schools in district 2 of Tehran and the effects were measured on three groups of students in pre-test and posttest methods. The results from analyzing research data showed the average mathematics score in education management model in pretest was 9.85 and in posttest, it was 11.26; while, the average mathematics scores in lesson study group in pre-test was 9.19 and in posttest, it was 9.04. In the control group, those scores were 9.75 in pre-test and 9.65 in posttest. The average score in mathematics lesson in education management group showed considerable increase compared to the lesson study method group. The research hypothesis of the research showed education management model led to increase in mathematics learning of students; while, lesson study did not show tangible effects on mathematics learning of students. This research can be carried out in higher school grades and in other courses in Tehran for providing more complementary studies.
