Aplikasi Penyembunyian Data Rahasia Ke Citra Digital dengan menggunakan Metode Rivest Shamir Adleman dan Least Significant Bit

Steganography is the science of art and science to make hidden messages in a certain way so that other people besides the sender and recipient will realize there is a hidden message. Cryptography is science and art to learn about processing and securing messages safely. This study will discuss the combination of the Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) and Least Significant Bit (LSB) methods on how to hide a secret message in a digital image. A text message before being inserted into a digital image is first encrypted with the RSA Algorithm, the results of the encryption are inserted digital imagery with LSB Algorithm. The length of the text message depends on the size of the container media. Applications designed using Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 also provide interfaces for generating randomly needed keys. Applications can be used to hide secret messages in digital images where the color changes of input images with results are not clearly visible.

The progress of technology and computer surveillance systems at this time has provided a significant positive contribution in all fields to support and improve the performance of a system. One of the technological advances in the field of computers is computer monitoring and control. Computer monitoring and control systems used in computer laboratories at the College of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) Palangkaraya still use a paid system or must first purchase to be able to use it in every computer laboratory room, so that not all computer laboratory rooms can be monitored using the system because there are not a few costs to purchase the system. Therefore, to supervise all the STMIK Palangkaraya laboratory rooms, a computer monitoring and control system is built that can be used free of charge. The software development method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a waterfall model development approach. The programming language used is Microsoft Visual Basic. Based on the results of tests on the system that was built to produce all the processes and facilities contained in the system running in accordance with the test items that have been set.

Supplier Selection with Fuzzy TOPSIS and VIKOR Method in a Trailer Manufacturing Company

The supplier decision has become a strategic decision for companies to achieve competitive advantage due to growth and increased competition, technology and reduced profit margins. The right choice of the supplier is one of the most important elements that will ensure the production and distribution of the products with the desired quality, flexibility, lower cost and high speed. There may be complexity and uncertainty in supplier selection decision as it includes many factors and multiple decision makers. For this purpose, the right supplier to be cooperated has been decided by using fuzzy TOPSIS and VIKOR methods in Microsoft Visual Basic by evaluating existing suppliers in a trailer factory operating in Turkey.

The development of artificial intelligence technology that has occurred has made it possible for expert systems to be applied to detect disease using programming languages. One of them is in providing information about various problems, especially Vasculitis. The expert system method used is a Variable Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) used to handle diagnosing vasculitis. With the facilities provided for users and administrators, allowing both users and administrators to use this system according to their individual needs. Users are given ease in knowing information about Vasculitis disease, its causes and deterrents. Study on the feasibility of Scoring System of Clinical Nursing Operation Examination developed by nursing staff

Objective To analyze the process of clinical nursing operation assessment in a third-grade class-A hospital in China, and design the scoring system of clinical nursing operation examination(SSCNOE), and discuss its clinical application effect. Methods Through operation process analysis chart to analyze the flow of current clinical nursing operation assessment of shanxi provincial people′s hospital to look for improvement priorities that can be optimized, and based on Microsoft Visual Basic technology and 15 commonly used clinical nursing operation, we developed SSCNOE. A total of 102 nurses were selected as subjects and were randomly divided into the experimental and control groups using random numbers. The experimental group accepted SSCNOE examination, while the control group received the traditional paper test. The differences in the examination time and examination cost between the two groups were compared. Results SSCNOE simplified the examination process of clinical nursing operation and saved a lot of manpower, material and financial resources. The time required to use SSCNOE was (202.13±24.69)min, shorter than the traditional assessment (347.67±6.51)min (t=12.99, P<0.01), and the overall cost was (948.13±72.47)yuan, lower than the traditional test (1 689.12±126.72)yuan (t=13.56, P<0.01). Conclusion The research and application of SSCNOE can improve the efficiency of the assessment of nursing operation, save the cost of examination and improve the level of hospital nursing information construction. Design of MSE wall with reinforcing strips using FoundationPro

AbstractThis paper presents the development and implementation of a mechanically stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall module in FoundationPro. The software was developed to improve the teaching methodology of MSE Wall foundation design with reinforcing strips as part of the foundation engineering coursework for undergraduate level students. The user‐friendly interface software was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic. It includes several features that enables the user to perform a wide range of foundation design problems effortlessly with improved accuracy. The software, which was developed as a shareware application with no licensing restrictions, is expected to positively impact many students and educators at several engineering schools nationally and internationally.

The Land office has already using computer for daily work activity but not all of them yet, only part of the office. at the room of estate book, registration of estate book still on the ledger so it makes the job goes slowly for the officer when going to check the estate book that present and the estate book that borrowed along with the book that have been returned. the purpose of this research to simplify the work of Pekanbaru's Land Office in data processing, registration of estate book, borrowing estate book, and returning estate book, so that not takes too long times for data processing. In this research, the writer using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as the programing application and sql server for database application.

A versatile program for the calculation of linear accelerator room shielding

This work aims at designing a computer program to calculate the necessary amount of shielding for a given or proposed linear accelerator room design in radiotherapy. The program (Shield Calculation in Radiotherapy, SCR) has been developed using Microsoft Visual Basic. It applies the treatment room shielding calculations of NCRP report no. 151 to calculate proper shielding thicknesses for a given linear accelerator treatment room design. The program is composed of six main user-friendly interfaces. The first enables the user to upload their choice of treatment room design and to measure the distances required for shielding calculations. The second interface enables the user to calculate the primary barrier thickness in case of three-dimensional conventional radiotherapy (3D-CRT), intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and total body irradiation (TBI). The third interface calculates the required secondary barrier thickness due to both scattered and leakage radiation. The fourth and fifth interfaces provide a means to calculate the photon dose equivalent for low and high energy radiation, respectively, in door and maze areas. The sixth interface enables the user to calculate the skyshine radiation for photons and neutrons. The SCR program has been successfully validated, precisely reproducing all of the calculated examples presented in NCRP report no. 151 in a simple and fast manner. Moreover, it easily performed the same calculations for a test design that was also calculated manually, and produced the same results. The program includes a new and important feature that is the ability to calculate required treatment room thickness in case of IMRT and TBI. It is characterised by simplicity, precision, data saving, printing and retrieval, in addition to providing a means for uploading and testing any proposed treatment room shielding design. The SCR program provides comprehensive, simple, fast and accurate room shielding calculations in radiotherapy.

And the utilization of wireless networks that are less effective because only connected computer warehouse administration and purchasing, not all users, to overcome the above problems, it is necessary information that utilizes the inventory management information system raw materials with computer network based client server using a new system of mutual terintregrasi all users so that all interested parties can access the desired data of course with certain restrictions, according to the status entered. Then created a system of inventory management information raw materials server client base on CV.Alinea Java by using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database that will assist in the process of data processing system.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the development of mathematics teaching materials on matrix materials using Microsoft Visual Basic media that is easy to understand learners and quality according to expert materials and programming experts. Based on the assessment of material experts, these teaching materials are included in the criteria very well, with a feasibility level of 87%. Based on the assessment of media experts, this resource is included in very good criteria, with a degree of eligibility of 88%. Based on the results of the test on the learners, this instructional material is included in the criteria very well, with a feasibility level of 86%. Based on the assessment of educational practitioners, these teaching materials are included in very good criteria, with a feasibility level of 86%. So it can be concluded that the end result of the development of this resource is suitable to be used as teaching material of Algebra Liner on matrix material. The final product of this resource is a product that has passed the first and second revision stage. IMPLEMENTASI ALGORITMA UNARY CODING UNTUK MENGKOMPRESI TEKS TERENKRIPSI EL GAMAL

The speed at which information is transmitted is indispensable in current technological developments. Information is a message or a collection of messages or a data that has been processed so as to produce something needed by the party in need. Information can take the form of various data formats, including text, video or images. The problem of the speed of information delivery is often slightly inhibited due to the large file size of the information. In addition, the security factor is also very important, as many irresponsible parties will try to steal the information and may harm the stolen information when it is misused. The process undertaken in this study is to analyze the process of encryption and decryption algorithm El Gamal and compression algorithm Unary coding then designing security and compression applications using design tools such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 to simplify the making of applications. After completion of the design, then the file will be encrypted and compressed using applications that have been designed. Then, the result of the process is a text file that can not be understood and has a size smaller than the original.

Guideline on radiation protection in medicine requires documentation of radioiodine therapy and follow-up: What are the benefits of an electronic database?

The lately updated German guideline on radiation protection in medicine (Richtlinie Strahlenschutz in der Medizin) requires the physician who administers radioactive substances for therapy, to perform and document follow-ups. In order to decrease the administrative burden, an electronic database was developed that interfaces with a word processing software to generate written reports and statistic analysis. Based on Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visual Basic a database was created to monitor patients with benign and malignant thyroid disorders after radioiodine therapy. It permits automatic creation of therapy documents and necessary patient reports in Microsoft Word. Intuitive handling, third level of normalization in database architecture and automatic plausibility checks guarantee integrity of the data and the efficacy of the database. The new software has been a success in over 1500 patients and over 3800 in- and outpatient therapies and visits. The effort of data entry is easily offset by the automatic generation of the necessary patient reports. The required supervision of the follow-up appointments is now also user-friendly and efficient.

An optimization model for the operations of a pallet pool with both radio-frequency identification–tagged pallets and non-tagged pallets

In a pallet pool, pallets would be delivered through a supply chain. The operation procedure that consists of at least five operation processes as distribution, reposition, recycling, purchase (or rent), and maintenance is quite complex. These pallets are likely to be damaged, lost, destroyed, and so on. So, it is necessary to monitor the pallets using radio-frequency identification technology. However, there is no literature on the management of a pallet pool with both radio-frequency identification–tagged pallets and non-tagged pallets being put into consideration. In our research, an optimization model is presented to manage such a pallet pool. The objective of the optimization model is to minimize the total operation cost of a pallet pool including distribution cost, reposition cost, recycling cost, purchase or rent cost, loss cost, maintenance cost, loading and unloading cost, storage cost, and punishment cost. A particle swarm optimization algorithm is developed in Microsoft Visual Basic. Our numerical example shows that the optimization model and particle swarm optimization algorithm are effective. It is proved that the model and algorithm also can be used to measure whether the investment of a radio-frequency identification system is valuable or not. We proposed some suggestions for the pallet pools management.

This paper deals with a production inventory model with reworkable defective items and integrates a cost reduction delivery policy. In this work, it is assumed that in each cycle the rework process of all defective items starts when the regular production process finishes. After the rework process, a portion of reworked items fails and this portion becomes scrap. In this paper, two models are developed, in the first model, the perfect finished items can be delivered to customers at the end of rework process and in the second model, integrates cost reduction delivery policy and finished items can only be delivered to customers at a fixed interval of time during production down time with the purpose of reducing holding cost. The objective is to derive the optimal production lot size, number of deliveries and the finished items are delivered by request to customers at a fixed interval of time that minimises total costs. The relevant model is built, solved and necessary and sufficient conditions for a unique and global optimal solution are derived. An illustrative example is provided and numerically verified. The validation of result in this model was coded in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.

In the classical inventory model the holding cost was assumed to be constant. However, in reality, holding cost may not always be constant. The holding cost may be time dependent. In this paper, a production inventory model with deteriorating items with constant, linear and quadratic holding cost is considered and also a comparative study is carried out between constant, linear and quadratic holding costs. Three models are developed. In three models, the optimum time and total cost are derived when the holding cost is: 1) constant; 2) linear; 3) quadratic. A mathematical model is developed for each model and the optimal production lot size which minimises the total cost is derived. The optimal solution is derived and an illustrative example is provided. The validation of result in this model was coded in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
