Abstract
This paper researches synchronous measurement system with digital meters Agilent 3458A based on Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. In this system, two digital meters connect to PC by USB/GPIB bus and arbitrary waveform generator 33220A provides external trigger signal to the digital meters. Based on these, we have developed the synchronous measurement software, which can facilitate the realization of automatic measurement and improve measurement efficiency. The measurement method can overcome effect of high voltage power supply ripple and drift as well as decrease type A uncertainty more than 100 times especially in the measurement of voltage divider ratio.
