In this study, the underlying influence mechanism of different metal species, including K, Ca and Cd, on NbOPO4 supported Cu-Ce catalysts had been disclosed. Experimental results indicated that various metal species exhibited deactivating effect on SCR activities, where the deactivation effect decreased in the order of K > Ca ≈ Cd. Inherently, the pronounced decrease in SCR performances should be derived from the greatly deteriorated physicochemical properties, where various metal species deposited on CCP catalyst significantly suppressed redox ability and surface acidity and decreased surface area. However, compared with traditional V-W-Ti catalyst, NbOPO4 supported Cu-Ce catalyst still possessed superior resistance to different metal species.
