The Effective Reduction of Violence Against Doctors Through the Improvement of Medical Humanistic Care.

The lack of medical humanistic care has led to the tension between doctors and patients and frequent incidences of violence against doctors. In the past few years, doctors reported feeling insecure due to the frequent occurrence of killing or maiming doctors. Conditions in medicine are not conducive to China's medical development and progress. This manuscript suggests that the violence against doctors caused by the tension between doctors and patients mainly stems from the lack of medical humanistic care, the overemphasis on technical rationality, and the lack of knowledge on humanistic care for patients. Therefore, the improvement of medical humanistic care is an effective way to reduce the occurrence of violence against doctors. The manuscript describes the steps to improve medical humanistic care and establish a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients to further reduce violence against doctors, improve the quality of humanistic care of medical staff, re-introduce the medical humanistic spirit by ending the dominance of technical rationality, optimize medical treatment processes, and establish the idea of humanistic care for patients.

Exploration and practice of ideological and political education in biochemistry and molecular biology for cultivation of ethical and medical talents

Combine the learning characteristics of medical specialty and the core socialist values. Ideological and political education is integrated into the teaching of biochemistry and molecular biology. We will strive to cultivate medical talents of the new era with excellent medical skills, noble medical ethics, the patriotism, concern for the people's livelihood and dedication for the society, guided by "professionalism", "practicing ability" and "social adaptation". The talent training of medical university bears the important task of training medical workers with noble medical ethics, exquisite medical skills and humanistic spirit [1]. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is an important basic and compulsory course for medical majors. Its relevant theories and technologies have penetrated into all fields of basic medicine and clinical medicine. This course contains rich ideological and political education elements, which are closely combined with clinical practice and daily life, so that students can more vividly and concretely grasp the knowledge and feel the essence of the thought. The implementation of curriculum ideological and political education is helpful to improve the humanistic quality of medical students and professional ethics of doctors. This paper explores and practices the implementation methods of curriculum ideology in biochemistry and molecular biology. It also integrates the elements of moral education into daily teaching guided by "professional spirit", "practicing ability" and "social adaptation", aiming to continuously improve the effect of education and ultimately contribute to the cultivation of medical talents with both moral and medical skills.

The Exploration of Creative Paths of Cultivating Medical Humanistic Quality under Media Convergence

With people’s increasing emphasis on health and the rapid integration and development of the media, the society has higher requirements for the medical service. As a result, the concepts, goals and modes of talent cultivation in medical colleges and universities have changed. The purpose of this paper is to find out how medical colleges and universities can supplement medical humanities knowledge of medical students, improve medical humanistic ability of medical students and practice the medical humanistic spirit of medical students with the help of media convergence technology and platforms. This paper analyzes the connotation and challenges of contemporary medical humanistic quality by using study methods such as content analysis, field researches, telephone interviews and puts forward the creative paths of cultivating medical humanistic quality from the perspective of media convergence.

Humanistic Spirit Contained in Traditional Chinese Medicine should Be Valued.

Medicine is a science studying human's health and diseases as well as the regularity between them. Its research subject is human, who possess natural attribute, psychological attribute and social attribute. Therefore, medicine is bound to possess humanistic attribute. Rooted in Chinese traditional culture, Traditional Chinese Medicine contains abundant humanistic thoughts, for instance, pursuing the unity of human and nature, advocating the vital importance of life, sticking to the virtue of "medicine being humane art", abiding by the principle of "Benevolence prior to interest", complying with the medical rule of "Respecting peers". These are the very concrete reflections of medical humanistic spirit. In this article we aim to explore the humanistic thoughts contained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and try to inherit and carry forward the spirit to better relieve the tensions between doctors and patients and improve the quality of medical services.

The importance and patterns for humanities education of Chinese ophthalmology residency

At this point in time, the importance of medical humanities education has not been fully understood during the standardized training of residents in China. The study of medical humanities is an important facet of ophthalmology residency that needs to be strengthened. During the standardized training of ophthalmology residents, not only the medical sciences should be strengthened, but also the nature and practice of medical humanities knowledge should be enhanced in multiple aspects. Offering medically-relevant literature, history, philosophy and other courses, simulating real medical activities, being enthusiastic in popular medical science and increasing the contents of the examination in medical humanities would all be areas that would further advance the ophthalmology residency. Along with medical science education, residents will be led and trained on medical humanities as to build good medical humanistic spirit of patient care so that they may better serve patients.

Research on the application of PBL and Scenario simulated teaching in pathological experiment

The study was o investigate the effectiveness of problem-based learning and scenario simulated teaching in Pathological experiment course. Clinical common, multiple cardiovascular diseases related experiments were selected for reform. The case was in advance handed out to the second year students of clinical medicine, stomatology, imaging medicine and other specialty, requiring them to complete the data access, group discussion, PPT production, diagnoses and treatment scenarios simulation video shooting tasks. Every group showed their PPT and video in class. They were asked between groups. Summative evaluation was given before class. Curriculum effectiveness questionnaire was issued and recycled, and according to students' performance teacher gave their scores and reward. The study showed that the comprehensive application of the above teaching methods and means could effectively improve students' learning enthusiasm and initiative, cultivate their medical humanistic spirit, and help to improve the teaching quality of pathology experiment. Emphasizing humanities in medical education: Promoting the integration of medical scientific spirit and medical humanistic spirit.

In the era of the biological-psychological-social medicine model, an ideal of modern medicine is to enhance the humanities in medical education, to foster medical talents with humanistic spirit, and to promote the integration of scientific spirit and humanistic spirit in medicine. Throughout the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), other Western countries, and some Asian countries like Japan, many medical universities have already integrated the learning of medical humanities in their curricula and recognized their value. While in China, although medical education reform over the past decade has emphasized the topic of medical humanities to increase the professionalism of future physicians, the integration of medical humanity courses in medical universities has lagged behind the pace in Western countries. In addition, current courses in medical humanities were arbitrarily established due to a lack of organizational independence. For various reasons like a shortage of instructors, medical universities have failed to pay sufficient attention to medical humanities education given the urgent needs of society. The medical problems in contemporary Chinese society are not solely the purview of biomedical technology; what matters more is enhancing the humanities in medical education and fostering medical talents with humanistic spirit. Emphasizing the humanities in medical education and promoting the integration of medical scientific spirit and medical humanistic spirit have become one of the most pressing issues China must address. Greater attention should be paid to reasonable integration of humanities into the medical curriculum, creation of medical courses related to humanities and optimization of the curriculum, and actively allocating abundant teaching resources and exploring better methods of instruction.

Analysis of medical humanities connotation in view of value demand by patients

Humanistic quality of medical workers directly affects the quality of medical service and patient satisfaction.In view of patient′s value demand, this paper identified main setbacks in humanistic service in China in the course of medical service.The authors found out the reasons for the lack of humanities quality, and interpreted medical humanistic spirit, medical professional spirit, medical ethics and morality, and connotation of medical law culture.On such basis, the paper unveiled the importance of medical humanities accomplishment in medical practice and medical students′ training, proposing to promote the concept of humanistic spirit of medicine and the doctor-patient communication skills. Research on practical teaching reform of humanities and social science in medical colleges and universities based on post competency — take "modern Chinese" course as an example

It simplified, merged and enhanced the traditional Chinese teaching content, to help students to establish a standardized use of language awareness, and establish a sense of cultural identity, which helped medical students learn and appreciate literary works from all countries and famous narrative medical text, improved their moral sentiments, and aroused their empathy and empathy for the response. Under the guidance of the basic theory of spoken language, scientific, systematic, strict oral expression skills and effective doctor-patient communication skills training were carried out for medical students, so as to cultivate medical students' humanistic spirit and the scientific spirit. Discussion on fundamental medical concept enhancing the overall quality of medical students in the department of geriatrics during clinical practice

It is important to explore the fundamental medical concepts which can enhance the overall quality of medical students in the department of geriatrics during efinica[ practice. These funda- mental medical concepts include medical humanistic spirit, holistie medicine, health management and patient-physician communication. Specific measures include improving emotional communication of clini- cal interns in department of geriatrics with elderly patients, training student＇s thinking as a whole towards multiple system disease in the elderly, training students to assess and manage elderly patients from a vari- ety of perspectives and improving doctor-patient communication skills by routine clinical teaching and teaching ward round. All these concepts will help improve the working ability and medical ethics of clini- cal interns and enable them to adapt to the clinical work quickly. So they can become qualified doctors. Discussion on humanistic education among clinical medical postgraduates

The combination of medical humanistic spirit and medical scientific spirit is the sign of the maturity of medicine.The modern medical mode of ' biology-psychology-society-environment' sets new requirements for medical humanistic education.Clinic medical postgraduates,the front -line medical workers,play a very important role in medical work,but they show huge deficiency in interpersonal communication,humanistic knowledge and humanistic possession nowadays.The paper tried to draw some lessons from the successful education mode of George Washington university and discussed practicable methods to improve humanistic education among medical postgraduates aiming at cultivating qualified medical workers who have both noble medical ethics and perfect medical technology and ability. Humanistic spirit in evidence-based medicine and harmonious doctor-patient relationship

Evidence-based mirrors the natural and social properties of human being,harmoniously integrating scientific spirit and humanistic spirit. Discussions were made on such aspects as the relationship between human spirit and harmonious doctor-patient relationship. The humanistic spirit of evidence-based medicine, and the humanistic spirit of evidence-based as used in building harmonious doctor-patient relationship. The authors point out the following: 1) Medical science itself is a wealth of humanistic sprits, and medicinal science can better serve human being with humanistic spirit;2) Evidence-based is completely in line with medical humanities, which scientifically reveals the People-oriented medicine as the essential attribute of human sciences;3) Modem clinical has unveiled the evidence-based era. Based on these findings, the authors hold that in such an era,exploration and understanding of the human spirit as the core of evidence-based and focusing on the cultivation of medical humanistic spirit, will be conducive to building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.
