Analisis Keterampilan Guru Kelas V Mengadakan Variasi dalam Pembelajaran Tematik di SDN Ngargoloka

Variation skills in teaching are important for teachers. Therefore, the focus of this research is to analyze the skills of teachers to make variations which include variations in teaching styles, media variations, and variations in interaction patterns in class V in thematic learning at SDN Ngargoloka, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency. The type of research used is qualitative and the research data is analyzed descriptively. From the data analysis, it was found that the fifth grade teacher already had the skills to make variations in learning. The variety of teaching styles of fifth grade teachers is said to be good and varied, because almost all indicators of teaching style variations have been implemented. The teacher's skills in making variations that have been owned such as voice variations, silence, gestures, concentration of attention, eye contact, and the help of learning media tools used such as maps, globes, source books, LCD, and HandPhone and interaction patterns. The obstacles experienced by teachers in applying the skills of making variations are that teachers experience confusion in explaining thematic material that combines several materials at one time, besides that the character of different students, such as when the teacher gives time for discussion, only a few students do it and the others are busy themselves. this happens because schools have limited facilities and infrastructure such as teaching aids and learning media, so this limitation makes teachers when explaining thematic material without the help of media become abstract for students and it is easier to understand the material presented by the teacher if the teacher explains the material using tools. SMART TEXTILE pH SENSOR BASED ON CURCUMIN MICROCAPSULES

In this study, pH-sensitive textile systems are developed for use in detecting alkaline media variations. The product is designed based on the surface functionalization of cotton fabric by semi-porous microcapsules containing curcumin. The capsules synthesized by interfacial polymerization from MDI and xylitol serve as micro-reactors where a modification of the chemical form of curcumin takes place, allowing observation of a change of color. This change of color is linked to the acidity constant of this molecule. The objective is also to correlate the visual observation to an evaluation of the color code via image capture by a smartphone of the textile structure and simplified processing of the image color. The analyses have shown that the product obtained is well-sensitive to pH variations and easy to use.

Efektivitas Kombinasi Slow Sand Filter Media Geotekstil dan Karbon Aktif untuk Menyisihkan Nilai Permanganat dan Total Coliform

The water of Kali Jagir, Surabaya, used as a raw water source, has been contaminated with high levels of BOD, COD, and permanganate. Therefore, this research seeks to address these issues by combining slow sand filtration with various media, including geotekstil and activated carbon. The study aims to optimize this combination in reducing parameters such as permanganate and total coliform in the raw water. The research methodology includes literature review, testing of raw water characteristics, preparation of slow sand filter reactors, preparation of filter media, and testing of media variations with an observation of organic and bacteriological pollutant removal efficiency. The results show that the combination of filter media involving sand, activated carbon, and geotekstil is effective in reducing organic pollutants. Geotekstil aids in the growth of the schmutzdecke layer and facilitates cleaning, while sand and activated carbon tend not to support such growth. Moreover, the optimum schmutzdecke growth time varies depending on the type of media used. These findings have significant implications for raw water treatment in industrial areas vulnerable to pollution, resulting in quality drinking water and addressing the frequent clogging issues in slow sand filters.

Gallery well application as a media for water treatment in flooded areas (case study: Morowudi Village, Gresik Regency)

High-intensity rainwater is known to cause flooding in Morowudi Village, Gresik Regency. This is a major issue for the local community because flood-related to water quality degradation renders it unfit. This study aims to apply gallery wells made as an alternative media to treat floodwater with better-quality water in Morowudi Village, Gresik Regency. In this research, there are two media variations: silica sand or building sand with a diameter of 0.2–0.4 mm applied in the form of a reactor with a diameter of 0.8 meters and a media thickness of 60 cm, which used a separation technique. The separation technique mechanism of the gallery well is SSF (Slow Sand Filtration). The floodwater percolates slowly through a gallery well reactor, with the influent water penetrating from the outside reactor and congregating in the wall as the effluent. The effectiveness of artificial gallery well application is measured by the reduction percentage of TDS, total turbidity, and total coliform. The results showed that artificial gallery well application reduces of TDS, total turbidity, and total coliform in floodwater at Morowudi Village. Thus, it can be used as usable water for the local community.

Pengaruh Variasi Media Carburizer terhadap Struktur Micro dan Kekerasan Baja Aisi 1045

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of media variations of 90% kusambi charcoal and 10% shellfish, 90% kusambi charcoal and 10% rice husks, and 90% rice husks and 10% shells. Kusambi charcoal 90% and 10% rice husk, 90% rice husk and 10% shellfish. For the microstructure and hardness of steel AISI 1045, the material used in this research is medium carbon steel, the process of making the specimen is done by cutting it into several parts. The cutting is done to make it easier to place the specimens in the carburizing box then 90% kusambi charcoal mixed with 10% shellfish, 90% kusambi charcoal mixed with 10% rice husks, and 90% rice husks mixed with 10% clamshells. The specimens were subjected to a Carburizing treatment at a temperature of 9500C then a Rockwell hardness test and microstructure testing were carried out. From this study, it can be concluded that the highest average hardness value in the mixture of 90% Kusambi charcoal Carburizer and 10% shellfish was obtained at 39.25 HRC and the material hardness without treatment was 17.08 HRC. Application of Optimization Models in Modification of Nutrient- Chloramphenicol Agar Medium for Use in Selective Isolation of Pseudomonasfluorescens.

Commercially available medium for selective isolation of Pseudomonas are relatively expensive. Incorporation of chloramphenicol into nutrient agarhas been used in the selective isolation of Pseudomonasfluorescens. Theaim of this study was to apply optimization in modification of nutrient-chloramphenicol agar medium (NCAM) so as to optimize it for selective isolation of Pseudomonas species. Water sample determined to contain fluorescent greenish-pigment producing bacteria (FGPB) was used for the optimization study. Medium component selected for the optimization process were pH, NaCl concentration (NC), and chloramphenicol concentration (CC), with value ranges of 7.0 – 8.2, 0.5 – 1.0 %, and 40 – 60 ?g/ml, respectively. Fifteen media variations were derived from combination of these ranges using Box-Behnken design matrix,and were used in culturing the water sample for isolation of FGPB. Relationship between obtained proportions of bacterial populations that are FGPB and chosen media components were calculated using polynomial equation for three factors design. Prediction profiles derived from the equation showed that the highest proportion of bacterial populations that are FGPB was achievable at pH, NC, and CC combination values of 7.0, 0.2 %, and 60 ?g/ml, respectively. NCAM with this optimized combination increased the efficiency of selectively isolating FGPB from the water samplefrom 0.008 to 0.011 %. Physicochemical/biochemical testing showed that the FGPBisolates were Pseudomonas fluorescens. It is concluded that NCAM with pH 7.0, NaCl concentration of 0.2 %, and chloramphenicol concentration of 60 ?g/ml can be used for selective isolation of Pseudomonas fluorescens with optimum efficiency.

EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN METODE GABUNGAN METODE BIOFILTER ANAEROB DAN FITOREMEDIASI DALAM MENURUNKAN KADAR BOD, COD DAN TSS PADA LIMBAH CAIR DOMESTIK

The increasing population is one of the impacts of population density is the increasing need for drinking water, which also impacts increasing the amount of wastewater released. One approach that can be used in domestic wastewater management is using anaerobic biofilter and phytoremediation technology methods to reduce pollution levels. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of anaerobic biofilter and phytoremediation in reducing BOD, COD, and TSS levels in domestic wastewater at Perum Sumput Asri, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency. This study uses variations of Biofilter media, namely in reactor one using ginger coral media and in the second reactor using bioring media for phytoremediation plants using water hyacinth plants. The retention time is 12 hours in each basin with a discharge of 3.6 l / hour with a continuous upflow system. The results of research from biofilter and phytoremediation media variations are very good coral ginger and water hyacinth biofilter media which have the effectiveness of reducing BOD levels by an average of 53%, COD levels by an average of 51.39% and TSS levels by an average of 72.40%.

The effect of amorphous calcium carbonate as a culture media supplement on embryonic development of murine sibling embryos.

The aim of this study was to compare the addition in culture media of stabilized amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) versus calcium chloride (CaCl2) or calcium carbonate in crystalline form (CCC) on growth rates among sibling mouse embryos. We evaluated the effect of different ACC concentrations on the rates of embryo compaction at 60 h, blastocyst rate at 84 h and percentage of fully hatched at 108 h following hCG injection. As ACC is stabilized by tripolyphosphate (TPP), we also evaluated the addition of TPP alone to the culture media. Finally, we compared supplemented ACC culture media to one-step SAGE and Irvine cleavage media. The results revealed that ACC accelerates the compaction and blastocyst rates, as well as the percentage of fully hatched embryos in a dose-dependent manner, with an increased positive effect at 2.5 mM. The magnitude of the effect for ACC-supplemented media on the embryo developmental rate was between 30 to 40% (p < 0.01) faster for each stage, compared to both SAGE and Irvine one-step standard media. Embryos cultured with SAGE or Irvine media with or without supplementation of CaCl2 or CCC, did not produce the same improvements as observed with ACC. In conclusion, the ACC demonstrates a rapid modulation effect for restoring media optimal pH. ACC can inhibit cathepsin B activity during in vitro culture of fibroblast cells. The beneficial impact of ACC on cleavage mouse embryos is likely due to an improved buffering effect causing slower pH media variations, which may enhance quality and implantation potential of embryos following in vitro culture.

Strength Analysis of ST 41 Steel as Propeller Shaft with Quenching Heat Treatment and Tempering after Carburizing Carbon Media Variations

ST 41 steel is a low carbon steel which can be used for propeller shafts because it is categorized as a carbon steel permitted by BKI with a tensile strength requirement of 400 to 800 N/mm2. The propeller shaft deteriorates due to its surface frequently rubbing against the bearings. Carburizing is a technique used to increase the surface hardness by heating the specimen in a closed container containing mixture of carbon and a catalyst. The main objective of the subsequent quenching and tempering processes is to increase toughness and ductility while eliminating residual stresses. The achieved results are based on tests conducted on ST 41 steel with a measured carbon layer thickness of 229.12 μm, namely coal carbon media. Based on the results of wear tests, coal carbon media possesses a minimum value of 6.38287E-05 mm2/kg. In torsional testing, the maximum shear stress value for carbon media made from coconut shell charcoal is 429.79 MPa. When measuring hardness, coal carbon media has the highest value, which is 340.918 VHN. And metallographic testing shows that pearlite is the main phase in coal carbon media. The Effect of Annealing Temperature and Quenching Media Variations On Heat Treatment Process of Cu-Zn-Al Shape Memory Alloys For Shape Memory Effect and Microstructure

Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) is a material that can return to its original shape after undergoing mechanical deformation. The most commonly SMA material used is the Ni-Ti alloy. However, it is high cost. So that it is necessary to have alternative materials, for instance Cu-Zn-Al. Several studies related to Cu-Zn-Al Shape Memory Alloys have poor mechanical properties. So there further research required in order to determine the heat treatment process of Cu-Zn-Al Shape Memory Alloys. In this study Cu-21Zn-5Al alloys were given heat treatment with annealing temperature variations (425;550;600°C) and cooling media (brine, dry ice). Annealing process affects the mechanical properties and microstructure of the test material. Cooling media results the cooling rate during solution treatment. Tests in this study include hardness test, metallographic test, XRD test, DSC test, and SME test. From the test results, it was found that all the test variables have the Shape Memory Effect. The variable that had the greatest recovery (38.3%) was annealing temperature of 450°C with the cooling solution media using brine. In addition, the most rapid cooling occurs in the brine cooling media.

Pengembangan e-Book Menggunakan Aplikasi Flip Pdf Corporate Edition Pada Mata Pelajaran Bimbingan TIK Kelas VII SMP

This development research aims to produce e-book-based teaching materials on ICT guidance subjects for class VII junior high school. The development of e-book-based media using the Flip PDF Corporate Edition application seeks to help the learning process for students to be more interesting and enjoyable and can be used anytime and anywhere. This research stems from the results of interviews from educators who need media or media variations in supporting students to learn at SMP Negeri 25 Padang. The development that researchers do uses the 4D development model. The stages of research using this 4D model are Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The instruments used are interviews, documentation and assessment sheets (questionnaires). The results of the research conducted explained that the research from the media validator was "Very Feasible" with an average obtained of 4.86 and a percentage of 97.35%. The assessment of the material validator was declared "Very Suitable" with an average score obtained of 4.78 and a percentage of 95.7%. While the practicality assessment from students was declared "Very Practical" with an average obtained of 66.95 from the maximum average score of 70 and a percentage obtained of 95.64% with 21 students as respondents. Based on these calculations, the conclusion of the e-book-based learning media in class VII ICT guidance subjects developed is "Very Practical" to be used in the learning process. So it can be concluded that the validity test and practicality test can be concluded that this e-book is suitable for use.

The effect of atmospheric media variations on the characteristics of torrefied coffee beans

The aim of this study is to obtain new coffee product variants by torrefaction process with atmospheric media variations. The raw material used was Gayo-Arabica green beans, while the atmospheric medium variations were air, N2, and Ar at a rate of 1 1/minute. About 200 g coffee beans were torrefied in a fixed-bed at 235 ± 8 °C for 60 min and then cooled at the same rate medium. The process ended when temperature reached 50 °C. Subsequently, the beans were removed from the system and measured for yield, color, pH, chlorogenic acid and caffeine content using the UV–Vis method, as well as organoleptic tests. Variations in atmospheric media produced different characteristics of torrefied coffee bean products. The organoleptic test best value was obtained by using atmospheric media Ar (69.75) followed by N2 (67.875) and air (67.625). The absence of oxidizing elements in the atmospheric medium provided an improvement in the aroma and taste of coffee.

The effect of atmospheric media variation on liquid characteristics of torrefied coffee beans

Pollution and carbon footprints are still issues in the coffee roasting industry. Therefore, torrefaction of coffee beans with volatile condensation and atmospheric media variations can be an alternative to the roasting process. This study aims to determine the effect of the atmospheric media variations on the liquid characteristics resulting from coffee bean torrefaction using Gayo arabica green beans. The test was conducted with a fixed bed torrefier at 235 ± 8 °C for 60 min with a variety of oxidative air atmospheric media and non-oxidative inert gas (N2 &Ar) at a rate of 1 l/min. The torrefied coffee beans were cooled and removed at 50 °C. The volatile gas flowed to the condenser and flash tank, separating the liquid and uncondensed gas. The liquid yield was calculated based on mass data and its characteristics measured in pH, density and viscosity. Furthermore, FTIR and GC-MS methods were used to detect functional groups and the content of the compounds. The results showed that atmospheric media variations caused differences in yield for samples of liquid and air atmospheric of 11 % > N2: 10 % > Ar: 7 %. Insignificant differences were found in the value of pH, density and viscosity. These were also shown in functional groups and the content of liquid compounds. The difference was between samples using oxidative and non-oxidative gases and in between inert gases. Meanwhile, the variations in atmospheric media, impact differences in the number, type and amount of compound content.

Developing Wizer.Me as an Evaluation Media for Réception Ecrite Avancee Course

This study aims to develop an assessment media using Wizer.Me in the réception crite avancée course and to determine the feasibility of the media being developed. This study uses the research and development (R&amp;D) method from the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely data analysis, product design, product development, product validation and product review. The steps of this research begin with data collection which is carried out in needs analysis, designing and making teaching materials, and the validity of teaching materials for hardware experts and media experts. The instrument in this study is the scorecard for the validator. The data analysis technique is content and percentage analysis. After the five stages are carried out and declared feasible by the validator, then the learning media is tested on students in the classroom. The results of material validation are 87.50% and 100% in the first and in the second stage respectively; while, the results of media validation are 90% and 100% in the first stage and in the the second stage. The average percentage of values ​​obtained in the pretest is 56.49%. After the trial using the Wizer.Me media, the average score is up to 83.50% in the post test which meets the reading competency standard and is categorized as good. Based on the results of this study, it can be stated that the Wizer.Me media can be used as a learning evaluation medium for the réception crite avancée course. By using media students are more motivated in conducting evaluations. The presence of this media is also very helpful for media variations in the learning process. Pengaruh Variasi Media Pendingin Proses Quenching Terhadap Mikrostruktur dan Sifat Mekanik Baja Hadfield

Manganese steel contains 1,2% C and 12% Mn generally recognized as Hadfield steel. Based on the high composition of C and Mn elements, the main structure of this steel is dominated by an austenite matrix that surrounded the carbide phase on the grain boundary. This structure is usually brittle which leads to improper high-loading conditions. To overcome this problem, the experimental method was carried out by heating Hadfield steel to a temperature of 1000 oC, then followed by a quenching process using cooling media variations namely water and salt bath (20 wt.% NaCl solution). These cooling media variations aim to determine the level of carbide formation which affects the microstructure and mechanical properties. From the test results, it was obtained that Hadfield steel with salt bath (20 wt.% NaCl) quenching variation has significant microstructure transformation which affects enhancement of the value of tensile and yield strength (809,5 and 542,4 MPa), hardness (238 HV), ductility and toughness.

Pengembangan Permainan Kartu Domino Kimia sebagai Media Pembelajaran pada Materi Sistem Koloid Kelas XI SMA/MA

The chemistry domino card game is one of learning media variations is useful for strengthening colloid system material for students. The purpose of this Research is determine the level of validity based on the function of the media. The type of this research used is Research and Development (R and D) which uses a 4-D development model, that consist of some stages namely the define, design, develop, and disseminate stage. Validation questionnaire were given to UNP chemistry lecturer and chemistry teacher at SMAN 1 Bonjol. The data analysis technique used Aikens V. The result of data analysis showed that the chemical domino card game as a learning media for colloid system material had a validity level of 0,89 with valid criteria. The result showed that the chemical domino card game developed was a valid.

Pengaruh Variasi Media terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru

SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru is one of the public high schools which was originally SMPP 49 Pekanbaru and was founded in January 1976 by the minister of Education and culture on November 26, 1975 Number 0261/0/1975. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of media variations on student motivation in the history subject of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The type of research used in this study is quantitative type. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru starting from the submission of the proposal until the completion of the thesis by the author. The use of learning media in history is able to reconstruct the final period that is shrouded in obscurity. The subject of this research was students of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru, namely class XI IPS which collected 100 students. The analysis uses the classical aspect of interest. Media learning history also makes history come alive, clear, and relevant to the lives of students who are oriented to the present or the future. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in class XI IPS with a simple of 100 students to fill out a questionnaire or questionnaire that has been provided. The results of this study indicate that the research that has been carried out on the effect of media variations on students’ learning motivations in learning history in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru, the authors can make the following conclusions, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of media variations in history learning is good, proven by the perception of each student said is a relationship between the media variation program and the motivation to learn history at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.

IN VITRO ASSESSMENT OF EMBRYO AGE AND NAPHTHALENE ACETIC ACID SUPPLEMENTATION OF MEDIA IN CALLUS GENERATION OF OIL PALM (Elaeis guineensis Jacq)

Callus generation from embryo explants of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) was observed in relation to age of plants at time of explants excision and types of media used. The two stages of explants were those at 15 and 18 weeks after anthesis. Eeuwens and Murashige &amp; Skoog‘s (MS) media supplemented with Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) were used. These gave two media variations viz: MS medium supplemented with NAA and Eeuwens‘ medium supplemented with NAA. The best combination for the generation of callus from the embryo explants within 56 days in culture was determined by observing type of response, time of initiation of callus and callusing explants. It was found that callus generation was best from embryo explants taken from 18 weeks after anthesis cultured in Eeuwens‘ medium, supplemented with NAA. The optimum concentration of NAA was found to be 50 mgl-1, which initiated callus within 39 days in culture. The percentage of explants producing callus was 80 %. The results revealed the importance of the supplementation of nutrient media with NAA and the usefulness of selecting embryo explants of about 18 weeks after anthesis for use in callus generation in the oil palm

DEVELOPMENT AND OPTIMIZATION OF REACTION MEDIA AS AN EFFORT TO DETECT EXPOSURE TO PROFENOFOS TOXICITY WITH THE INDICATOR RHODAMINE 6G

Pesticides are potential chemicals widely used in the agricultural sector to tackle pests and plant diseases. However, pesticides, for instance, profenofos, can pose a risk of poisoning to farmers. It is necessary to prevent profenofos exposure through early detection using rhodamine 6G. The detection of the reaction between profenofos and rhodamine 6G requires an optimum medium. This study aimed to test the optimum medium to facilitate the reaction of profenofos and rhodamine 6G. Five media variations were utilized, including paper, hand plaster, panty liner, diaper, and hydrogel. The detection was performed by spraying profenofos at various concentrations, ranging from 100 to 400 ppm on respective media. The study adopted a rhodamine 6G and profenofos reaction sensitivity test on those five media. It applied both qualitative and quantitative analyses. The qualitative analysis aimed to observe various concentrations of profenofos based on the changes of colors on respective media, in which (+) marked the medium sensitivity while (-) indicated insensitivity. The quantitative analysis utilized a ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry to measure the changes of colors based on the reaction of profenofos with rhodamine 6 G. Both qualitative and quantitative tests showed no changes of colors on paper, hand plaster, panty liner, and diaper. In contrast, hydrogel reflected the changes of colors based on the increasing concentrations of profenofos. The research recommends hydrogel as an optimum medium for the early detection of profenofos pesticide exposure.
