Efektivitas Media Poster, Video Animasi dan Podcast terhadap Pengetahuan Remaja Mengenai Diabetes

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease due to problems in insulin production. Less insulin produced by the pancreas results in an imbalance of sugar in the blood. Diabetes mellitus is one of the serious diseases that we must prioritize, especially for the prevention of diabetes mellitus, especially to prevent it, one of which is by conducting education using innovative media. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the dissemination of information about diabetes mellitus through the media of posters, animated videos and podcas. Method: This type of study is called a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest. The study sample was 45 people. By using a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. Test analysis using paired sample t-test. Results:This study showed that respondents' knowledge before and after education using poster media, animated videos and podcasts increased with each p-value of 0.001. Flipsnack-assisted IPAS E-Modules: Substance Forms and Changes for Student Engagement

Fun learning in the classroom is the use of interactive and innovative media because the use of media can make student active. But in reality, there are many factors that cause students to be inactive in the classroom, one of which is the use of media that in still not interesting. This creation of thi flipsnack-assisted E-module development aims to increase student activeness. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) the model used is the ADDIE model. This research was conducted in two schools, namely SDN Kapuk 02 Pagi & SDN Cijantung 03 Pagi. With research subjects of 120 grade IV students using control class and experimental class. Direct observation and testing were the methods used for data collection. In this study, researchers conducted validation, the validation carried out was validation of language, material, and media. Media expert validation results were 92% categorized as "very worthy", 94% material experts categorized as "very worthy", and 87% language experts categorized as "very worthy". Additionally, validation was done by students by filling out questionnaires with 93% results categorized as "very worthy". And in the Score N-Gain test, the average N-Gain value of the experiment class was 62,50% categorized as "quite effective", and in the control class only 24%. Based on the outcomes, it shows that the use of E-modules can increase student activeness in IPAS lessons on the material of the form of substances and their changes.

Media space and the formation of civil society: the role of information technologies

Introduction: The media space and information technologies are rapidly evolving, influencing the formation of civil society and democratic processes. Objectives: This research aims to analyze modern trends in the interaction between the media space, information technologies, and civil society, focusing on the growth of civic activity and participation in social life. Methods: The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys to assess public trust in media and qualitative analyses of digital media strategies. Results: The findings highlight varying levels of trust among Europeans in media and technological advancements as tools for fostering a democratic society. Key digital media strategies that increase civic engagement were identified. Conclusions: Research concludes that media space and information technologies hold significant potential for strengthening civil society and supporting freedom of speech. A promising direction is the integration of critical thinking and media literacy, especially in the context of increasing geopolitical tensions. The study emphasizes the need for further innovation in mass media, developing adaptive strategies that align with the dynamics of the digital age and contribute to civil society's development.

Innovation in Local Digital Media: The Case of Sevilla Directo

Introduction: The journalistic company is immersed in a process of permanent transformation to overcome a crisis context. In this scenario, marked by disruptive changes in technology and in the behaviour of audiences and advertisers, a communication ecosystem emerges that facilitates the emergence of new media. Community social media, data journalism, and specialisation are some of the characteristics present in these business models. The objective of this research is to identify and understand the role of innovation in media adaptation to the current communication paradigm. Methodology: The case study will be used. For this, we will analyse a digital native medium in a city of approximately 700,000 inhabitants, Sevilla Directo. The techniques of information collection have been observation, analysis of websites, in-depth interviews, a discussion group between journalists, and reports and databases of the sector. Results and discussion: The results show that technological advances and the reach of social networks are fundamental for the growth of local media. However, it is observed that adaptive changes predominate with little disruption and little concern for R&D&I. The organisation under study lacks a business model that guarantees its long-term sustainability and bases its subsistence on traditional income routes. At the same time, social capital stands as a key element in financing.

Media Aplikasi Inovatif dalam Memudahkan Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Anak di Madrasah

Arabic is a must for Muslims. Arabic is currently the international language of Saudi Arabia. Learning Arabic is also a native language or a foreign language that is often heard. Learning Arabic requires a learning medium. Arabic learning media is currently evolving and adapting to the increasingly sophisticated technological revolution. Learning media plays a vital role in the success of teaching and learning activities. Just like today's app media, there are many teachers who can easily use innovative apps using their mobile phones. The use of media is a teaching skill of teachers in the classroom. There are four skills to master Arabic in MI/SD: listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.These skills can be easily mastered if teachers use media as a learning aid. The data collection methodology used by the library through processing, analysis and summarization of the data obtained.The aim of the study is to examine what is meant by innovative media such as media in Arabic language learning and the use of media in Arabic language learning.

Atomistic-to-continuum modeling of carbon foam: A new approach to finite element simulation

Carbon foam materials exhibit useful characteristics for unique and diverse applications. However, accurately modeling three-dimensional carbon foam remains a significant challenge. This paper introduces a novel technique for transitioning atomistic-scale models of porous carbon, obtained via molecular dynamics simulation, to continuum-scale carbon foam models suited for finite element simulations. We present our method using the fractal properties of porous media, specifically carbon foams. The resulting models demonstrate testable properties consistent with those derived from computed tomography (CT) scans and experimental data. Stress–strain curves obtained from finite element analysis (FEA) calculations of our models correlate well with experimental measurements from dogbone testing samples of carbon foam sourced from CONSOL Innovations LLC, WV, USA, as well as CT scan models derived from the carbon foams. Our approach presents a computationally efficient alternative and encourages innovation in modeling porous media, particularly in extracting physical properties from an ensemble of models.

Development of Website-Based Interactive Multimedia on Cell Material to Improve Critical Thinking Skills and Learning Independence of Class XI High School Students

The challenges faced in teaching cell material in high school show the need for innovation in learning media to facilitate understanding and increase students' learning motivation. This study aims to develop website-based interactive multimedia on cell material and evaluate the media's feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in improving critical thinking skills (CTS) and learning independence of grade XI students of SMAN 1 Ngemplak. This type of research is research and development (R D) using the ADDIE model by Dick and Carey, including the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Field trials were conducted by a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control-group pretest-posttest design. 62 students from two classes XI of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak became field trial subjects, divided into control classes (31 students) and experimental classes (31 students) by applying cluster random sampling techniques. Data on CTS and learning independence were measured using test and non-test techniques and then analyzed using t-tests. The results showed that: 1) website-based interactive multimedia is feasible to be used in the learning process, 2) website-based interactive multimedia is practical to use in the learning process, and 3) website-based interactive multimedia is effective in improving students' CTS and learning independence

Development of Augmented Reality Book (AR-Book) Based Science Learning Media on Human Digestive System Material to Improve Student Learning Outcomes

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects of human digestive system material due to the lack of TPACK-based learning media innovations that make it easier for students to learn the material so that students feel bored with the media they have been using. The purpose of this study is to develop, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of Augmented Reality Book (AR-Book) media in improving learning outcomes in human digestive system material of grade V students of SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01. This research uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model. The instruments used are questionnaires and test questions. Product validity tests are carried out by material and media experts. The results of this research are: AR-Book development design as a learning medium; media notability of AR-Books by 90% media experts and 92% of materials rated "very valid"; teacher and student responses to AR-Book were "very interesting" with a percentage of teachers 92% and students 93.7%; The effectiveness of the media from the t test results showed a GIS (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a significant difference from the average results before treatment and after treatment and the N-Gain test which shows a value of 0.71 which means there is a significant increase in the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the AR-Book media is very valid, very interesting, and effective for improving the learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students.

The rapid iteration of the fashion industry and the influx of numerous niche emerging fast fashion brands into the market have driven continuous innovation in social media marketing strategies, with new promotional methods constantly emerging. This article, utilizing literature analysis and observational methods, examines ZARA's social media marketing strategy in China. This analysis is beneficial for companies in the fast fashion industry, particularly those looking to expand their influence in the Chinese market. After a detailed analysis of the characteristics and marketing methods of Chinese social media platforms, the impact of external factors on Chinese consumers, and ZARA's social media presence, the article provides detailed recommendations for social media marketing strategies. ZARA, as a pioneer in the fast fashion industry, has established a certain market presence on Chinese social media platforms. However, its promotional strategy still shows potential for improvement. On platforms like Weibo and Little Red Book, ZARA's content strategy lacks specificity and diversity. In contrast, its live streaming marketing on platforms like TikTok demonstrates excellent visual effects and interactivity. This article provides several specific recommendations for ZARA's social media marketing strategy in China, such as strengthening brand storytelling and product showcases on Little Red Book, hiring celebrity endorsements, and regularly hosting styling challenges on TikTok. In summary, by implementing these strategies, ZARA is poised to achieve more effective brand building and market expansion in China's social media landscape.

Analysis of the Use of Dynamic Fluid Learning Media

Advances in ICT technology support by presenting various forms of innovative media. This study aimed to obtain a profile of schools' most widely used learning media. This research method was quantitative, using surveys to collect data. The respondents of this study were 1095 students from six schools. Questionnaire instruments were used to collect data for students with the help of Google Forms. The results showed that the learning media widely used by smartphones was 14%, PhET was 23%, PowerPoint Was 18%, computers were 17%, and others consisted of flip PDF and video were 28%. Media use in dominance is carried out directly in the classroom in the learning process. This study's findings indicate that using smartphones as a learning medium still needs to be improved. Therefore, these results allow researchers to develop learning media that utilize smartphones, especially in fluid learning materials.

Pengembangan Media Interactive Assisted Learning (IVAL) dalam Mata Kuliah Asesmen untuk Mahasiswa Tunagrahita Ringan

The development of an innovative interactive assisted learning (IVAL) model for mildly mentally retarded students is an effort to create solutions related to the need for digital-based media to stimulate mildly mentally retarded students in assisting the learning process, in this context, in early childhood learning assessment courses at the PG-PAUD STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan. In fact, it has not used digital media to help students with special needs due to limited innovation of digital-based media. Through the research and development process carried out, the results of this research creates an android application entitled "Interactive Assisted Learning (IVAL) which is suitable to be applied as a learning medium for students with special needs and mild mental retardation to stimulate students in receiving, processing and storing information in brain memory. The feasibility of IVAL media is proven from the validation results of software engineering experts 73.3%, media experts 80.8% and PAUD lecturer practitioners 71.4%. The evidence of effectiveness is proven from the results of trials in the PG-PAUD Study Program which shows that the ability of students with special needs mild mental retardation is up to 90.3% with a gain score of 0.70 in the medium category and in class of assessment subjects, it is increased to 90.1% with a gain score of 0.70 in the medium category.

Augmented Reality Learning Media with a Problem-Based Learning Model to Enhance the Students' Comprehension on Mathematical Concepts

The aim of this research is to develop augmented reality learning media with a problem-based learning model and analyze the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of augmented reality learning media with a problem-based learning model in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This research uses the research and development method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The sampling technique used is a random assignment, namely random sampling, where the experimental and control groups are chosen randomly from a lottery. The first lottery that came out was used as the experimental class, and the second lottery was used as the control class. Data collection techniques in this research used interview techniques, questionnaires, and tests. The results show (1) augmented reality learning media with a problem-based learning model is suitable for use, (2) augmented reality learning media is very practical to use, (3) understanding of mathematical concepts of students who receive learning with augmented reality media is better than students with conventional learning, and there are significant differences. (4) The augmented reality-based learning media developed is effective in use. The findings imply that the augmented reality learning media with a problem-based learning model can be an alternative and innovative media in assisting the student’s comprehension on mathematical concepts

THE IMPORTANCE OF AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) MEDIA TO INCREASE INTEREST IN LEARNING AT PRIMARY SCHOOLS

A response to the transformation in education is learning media. In order to adapt to changes in education, learning media innovation is a calculated move. Increasing student engagement and learning outcomes is influenced by the continuous development of educational media. It is expected that the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology into natural science instruction will improve scientific literacy, especially for elementary school pupils. Three-dimensional media makes the approach more flexible, engaging, and creative by using different items as target markers. Investigating and evaluating the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media in elementary school natural science instruction is the goal of this project. A literature review is the research methodology used, and data gathering is done using a literature study strategy. Learning outcomes and student attention have been demonstrated to be greatly enhanced by the development and application of augmented reality (AR) media in a variety of natural scientific courses. Among these subjects are the diets of animals, ecosystems, plants, and animals that go through full metamorphosis. Students are able to develop their creative faculties, assess their emotional intelligence, and grow more cooperative and competitive with their peers as a result.

News Innovation Under Rapid Political Change: Influence of State-Society Relations, Organizational Culture, and Critical Events

ABSTRACT Extant discussions of news media innovation have largely focused on the impact of media technologies, market forces, and audience reception. This article examines how political dynamics in transitional societies shape news media innovation. It argues that, in such contexts, news media innovation can be understood as a contingent outcome driven by changing state-society relations, mediated by organizational factors, and punctuated by critical political events. The empirical analysis focuses on Hong Kong between the year 2012 and 2022. Based on in-depth interviews with 30 journalists from online and mainstream media organizations, this article illustrates how increasing pressure on press freedom and the growth of political contention inadvertently fed into the growth of online media, though the degree of innovation exhibited by specific outlets was influenced by organizational culture. Significant political events reconfigured media innovation by bringing about unexpected market support and major shifts in the state’s media control strategies. General theoretical implications are discussed.

Journalistic Discourse on Disruptive News Ventures Launched by Media Insiders

ABSTRACT Disruptive journalistic innovation tends to challenge established news organizations and practices from the outside in and from the bottom up, especially when that innovation is driven by those considered on the periphery of accepted professional journalism. Journalists are skeptical about both those whom they perceive as “outsiders” and about potential threats caused by disruptive innovation. This study explores the journalistic discourse around four media innovations led by figures who defy clear classification into insider or outsider categories: CNN, USA Today, The Huffington Post and Semafor. Content analysis of coverage of the launch of these disruptors suggests greater acceptance of radically new media approaches when their purposes align with fundamental journalistic ideals. This U.S.-focused case study also contributes to the existing body of international research by examining how journalistic acceptance or rejection of entrepreneurial figures’ ventures relate to perceptions of those individuals’ belonging in the realm of journalism.

Development Of Picture Card Media Based On Science Literacy On Ecosystem Materials

It is known that the science literacy score in Indonesia in PISA (Programe for International Student Assement) which is carried out in 2022 is up 6 positions compared to 2018. However, the score dropped by 13 points. This needs to be improved the quality of education in Indonesia, one of the factors that influence it is the lack of innovation in the use of science literacy-based learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics, feasibility, and response to picture card media based on science literacy in grade V elementary school ecosystem materials. The research method used is R&D with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. To determine the feasibility of the media, a validation test was carried out by material experts and media experts using validation sheets. From the expert validation test, the material obtained a percentage of 100% with a very decent category. The results of the media test obtained a percentage of 100% with a very decent category. To determine the media response, respondents were filled out questionnaires by teachers and students. The results of students' responses to the media obtained a percentage of 93% in the very good category. While the results of the teacher's response obtained a percentage of 95% with a very good category. This study found that the picture card media based on science literacy ecosystem material is very feasible and very good to be used as a learning medium that can be an idea and motivation for teachers to make learning media innovations. In addition, it can help students in the learning process and increase knowledge related to science literacy skills. Further research can develop picture card media with other subjects and materials.

Research on Traditional Media Integration and Innovation Strategies in the New Media Era

With the rapid rise of new media, traditional media are facing great challenges and opportunities. This paper first analyzes the development characteristics of the new media era and its impact on traditional media, and then discusses the necessity and significance of the integration and innovation of new media and traditional media. Technological innovation: Instructional communication media in History and Civic Education

Background: The teaching of history and civic education, intended to foster national identity, is not fully achieved due to the absence of technological innovation in the instructional communication media used in high schools. Purpose: This research explores the need for ICT among students and teachers as instructional communication media to promote national identity in history and civic education. Method: This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method. The initial design involved an exploratory qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews with teachers and students from four high schools in Malang City, along with documentation from the Kurikulum Merdeka. The data were then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques to understand the information technology and communication needs of students and teachers for simulating national identity in history and civic education. In the next stage, a development approach was carried out to construct a model for instructional communication media that incorporated technological innovation to simulate national identity in history and civic education. Results: The results indicate that instructional communication media for promoting national identity through simulated history and civics education require technological innovation in the form of the NUSANTARA.IN application, which offers. Teaching materials on history and civic education tailored to students’ characteristics, A virtual reality feature that provides students with a virtual learning experience in history and civic education, and User-generated content to build a network among students for learning history and civic education. Conclusion: NUSANTARA.IN, which includes three distinct features, is a technological innovation designed to serve as an instructional communication media, enabling students and teachers to simulate national identity in history and civic education. Implications: The findings from this study contribute to the theoretical advancement of instructional communication media by incorporating concepts such as virtual reality, user-generated content, and student networking in high school education.

Teacher Problems in Implementing IT-Based Learning Media at SDN

Teachers at SDN 17 Kempo have not been able to apply innovative media, especially information technology-based media. This research aims to determine the problems faced by teachers in implementing IT-based learning media at SDN 17 Kempo. The research uses a qualitative description type approach. The research subjects consisted of 21 teachers at SDN 17 Kempo. The research instrument used questionnaires and unstructured interviews. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman method, namely: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions/verification. The research results show that the problems faced by teachers in implementing IT-based learning media include: 1) aspects of teachers' ability and understanding in implementing IT-based learning media; 2) aspects of supporting facilities and infrastructure; and 3) aspects of the lack of effort made by teachers in IT-based learning media. However, despite these problems, SDN 17 Kempo teachers still have high motivation in implementing IT-based learning media.
