This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Medan through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) method with Canva media assistance on the topic "Being Critical and Responsible towards Mass Media Influence". This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, involving 13 students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, independence activity observations, and learning motivation questionnaires. The results show a significant increase in students' average scores from 75 in cycle 1 to 85 in cycle 2. Learning independence increased by 17.5%, while learning motivation rose by 18.75%. The integration of Canva in PBL proved effective in enhancing student engagement and the quality of learning outputs. In conclusion, the PBL approach with Canva media successfully improved students' learning outcomes, independence, and motivation in media literacy education.
