IMPROVING MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES OF PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM THROUGH JIGSAW TYPE COOPERATIVE METHOD

This research aimed to determine the extent to which the learning outcomes of class VIII G students of SMP Negeri 14 Denpasar had improved through the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning method in learning mathematics regarding the Pythagorean Theorem. This research was classroom action research with the research subject being class VIII G of SMP Negeri 14 Denpasar Semester 1 in the academic year 2023/2024. Data on student learning outcomes was collected using written tests in the form of multiple choices. The result of this research showed that the first increase occurred in cycle I, 22 of the 42 students who took the test completed the test with a percentage of 52.4%. In cycle II, there was an increase in students who completed the test by 34 students out of 42 students who took the test with a percentage of 81%. It could be concluded that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in learning mathematics regarding the Pythagorean Theorem by applying the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning method.

Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di Kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Pulau-Pulau Batu

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics education subjects. Therefore, this Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes by implementing the Problem Based Learning Model in Class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Pulau Batu Island. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects in this classroom action research (PTK) were Class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Pulau Batu Island with a total of 16 students. The results of the research showed that from the first cycle of students' learning test scores, it was clear that of the 16 students who were research subjects, there were 13 or 81% who got a score in the poor category, and 3 students or 19% who got a score in the good category. . This means that, after implementing the problem-based learning (PBL) model, the learning outcomes of class Therefore, researchers continued research in cycle II. The student learning outcomes obtained in cycle II were 16 students who were research subjects, showing that 100% of students achieved completeness with an average score of 85.6. This shows that the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) model with the improvements made after implementing cycle I has increased and has achieved classical completeness. In this case, the problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning on the subject of matrix addition and subtraction operations and material on arithmetic sequences and series in class XI SMK Negeri 2 Pulau-Pulau Batu.

Evaluation of the implementation of machine learning algorithm K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) using rapid miner on junior high school student learning outcomes

The focus of the PISA 2022 assessment is on the subjects of Mathematics, Language and Science. Therefore, these subjects are compulsory subjects at every level of education. Because learning activities are the most important activities, the success of a learning activity is measured by the learning outcomes that have reached completeness or failed. Prediction of completeness or failure can be done by classifying data using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm using the RapidMiner application. The KNN algorithm is one of the classification methods for a set of data based on learning data that has been classified before. The data used are student learning outcomes in Mathematics, Indonesian Language and Science subjects at the junior high school education level in Padang city. This research aims to predict student learning outcomes in Mathematics, Indonesian and Science subjects based on student score completeness by comparing various k values to obtain the best performance of this algorithm. The results obtained after analyzing the KNN algorithm are Classification using the KNN algorithm is most accurate when the value of k = 5 and k = 7. Where by using the value of k, the accuracy of the KNN algorithm reaches the maximum result of 94.12%. Thus, this algorithm can help teachers to predict or find out how appropriate student completeness.

Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Third-Grade Students on the Material of Calculating the Perimeter and Area of Flat Buildings through the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model

Based on the learning results of class V students at SDS Islam An Nuriyah in South Jakarta, it shows that the results of learning Indonesian about writing summaries of the contents of children's books/stories are still below the specified KKM, namely 75. Of the 35 students, only 13 were able to reach the KKM. Therefore, improvements were made to Indonesian language learning regarding writing summaries of the contents of children's books/stories using the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning method. This research method uses a cycle system consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research aims to improve learning and achieve the expected results. To improve student learning outcomes in writing summaries of the contents of children's books/stories, a Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning method solution is offered. The results of the research show that learning mastery in each cycle has increased using this method. In the pre-cycle, there were only 13 students whose learning completeness was above the KKM 75 out of 35 students (40.00%). In cycle 1 it increases to 19 people (54.29%). Meanwhile in cycle 2 it increased to 28 people (80.00%). The results of this research can improve learning outcomes. This research can be concluded that the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning method can improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SDS Islam An Nuriyah in Indonesian language lessons on writing summaries of the contents of children's books/stories.

Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Third Grade Students on the Material of Calculating the Perimeter and Area of Flat Buildings through the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model at SDN Kuningan Barat 03 Pagi Mampang Prapatan South Jakarta in 2017-2018

The background of this study is based on the results of observations of third grade students of SDN Kuningan Barat 03 Pagi who have low learning outcomes or have not reached the KKM in Mathematics material on calculating the perimeter and area of flat shapes (square and rectangle). The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes in Mathematics lessons for third grade students on the perimeter and area of flat shapes at SDN Kuningan Barat 03 Pagi. This research uses a class action research method with a cycle system consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects used in this study were third grade students totaling 24 students consisting of 12 boys and 12 girls with different ability backgrounds. The results obtained in the pre-cycle with 45.83% completeness and in cycle I 66.67% while in cycle 2 there was an increase in learning outcomes, namely with 91.67% completeness. The conclusion of this study is that learning by using the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of third grade Mathematics students on the material of calculating the perimeter and area of flat shapes at SDN Kuningan Barat 03 Pagi.

Improving Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes Through the Implementation of the Talking Stick Learning Model Assisted by Card Media

This research was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of class III students at MI Al-Khairaat Mogolaing by applying the talking stick learning model with the help of card media. The type of research applied was Classroom Action Research, with research subjects consisting of 26 class III student participants and the homeroom teacher as teacher. Research instruments include student and teacher activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The research data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research showed that teacher activity increased from the good category in Cycle I to very good in Cycle II. Student activity also increased from good to very good category in each Cycle. Student completeness increased from 46% in Cycle I to 93% in Cycle II. Thus, using the talking stick learning model with the help of card media effectively improves student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects.

The Effect of RME Application on Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Student learning outcomes in mathematics learning are categorized as quite low, due to the lack of student participation in learning, so interesting learning methods are needed to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' mathematics learning outcomes after applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and explain the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach which has an impact on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses literature studies as a data collection method. The source of data in this study amounted to 10 scientific articles accessed from several sites about the effect of applying the PMR approach on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on a review of several literature and scientific articles that have been accessed, the author concludes that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach has a positive impact on student learning outcomes. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) can be a consideration for teachers to increase students' interest in learning so that their learning competence also increases, especially in the present.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kelas IV SDN 0306 Sosopan T.A 2022-2023

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the Influence of the Cooperative Learning Model of Group Investigation (GI) on student learning outcomes in mathematics for fourth-grade students at SDN 0306 Sosopan. The population in this study consisted of 48 students, divided into Class IV A with 24 students and Class IV B with 24 students. The research sample consisted of 24 students selected using the Total Sampling technique. The research type employed was an experiment with a Quasi-Experimental Design of the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research procedure included preparation, implementation, and conclusion stages. Before conducting the research, an instrument validation test, reliability test, difficulty level test, and discriminant power test were conducted. Subsequently, a pretest was administered to both classes, with the experimental class receiving treatment by implementing the Group Investigation (GI) learning model, while the control class used a conventional model. Finally, a posttest was administered to both classes. Data were analyzed using SPSS 24, including tests for normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. Based on the students' learning outcomes, the experimental class obtained an average score of 41.04 in the pretest, which increased to 77.08 in the posttest. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Group Investigation (GI) learning model on student learning outcomes in mathematics for fourth-grade students at SDN 0306 Sosopan.

The Influence Of Providing Rewards And Reinforcement On Stuedent Learning Outcomes In Class IV Mathematics At State Primary School 106143 Sukamaju School Year 2022/2023


 
 
 
 This study aims to determine the effect of giving rewards and reinforcement on student learning outcomes in mathematics in class IV at SD Negeri 106143 Sukamaju for the 2022/2023 academic year. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods. The population used was all students at SD Negeri 106143 Sukamaju with a sample of 31 students. Sampling using nonprobability sampling. The results of this study indicate that the results obtained from correlation test can be seen in the correlation coefficient of r (count) 0.689 ≥ r (table) 0.355, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, that is, there is a significant effect between reward and reinforcement on student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 106143 Sukamaju. It can also be seen from the results of the t-test where t (count)> t (table) is t (count) of 5.113 and t (table) of 2.042, then the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive effect between the provision of rewards and reinforcement and mathematics learning outcomes in class IV of SD Negeri 106143 Sukamaju for the 2022/2023 academic year.
 
 
 

Effect of Conceptual Understanding Procedures (Cups) Model on Mathematics Learning Results on SPLDV Materials

Improving student learning outcomes in mathematics is not only done through memorization of material, but also requires an understanding of concepts and problems so that laters student are able to solve problems. In overcoming these problems, the CUPs (Conceptual Understanding Procedures) model is needed as an innovative learning model to provide an increase in student learning outcomes. Providing a description of the effect of student learning outcomes through the application of CUPs (Conceptual Understanding Procedures) is the purpose of this study. Including quantitative research, with Pre-test Ppost-test Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Surabaya os the population in this study with respondents, namely students of class VIII-F as the experimental class and VIII-G as the control class, each totaling 32 students. Because in the sense that the teaching results experience differences in the experimental class after going through the application of CUPs (Conceptual Understanding Procedures) and control through conventional models. So it is concluded that teacing with CUPs (Conceptual Understanding Procedures) has an influence on the learning outcomes of junior high scholl mathematics students.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Matematika materi Bangun Ruang

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on student learning outcomes in mathematics for class V SD Inpres Lawua 1. This research is an experimental study. The research design used was a Quasi Experimental Design with a control group pre-test post-test design. This study used two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The sample of this research was the fifth grade students of SD Inpres Lawua 1, which consisted of 25 students. The experimental class consisted of 13 people and the control class consisted of 12 people. Data collection was carried out using an instrument in the form of multiple choice questions, data analysis using the Paired Sample T-test and prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and homogeneity test with the help of the SPSS version 16 program. Based on the results of the t test using the Paire Sample T-test, the sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Then the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that the CTL learning model on geometric material influences the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Inpres Lawua 1.

Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan Realistik Bidang Studi Matematika Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Di SDN Birowo 02 Kabupaten Blitar

The reality in the field shows that grade IV SD students are still not familiar with the concepts and operations of fractions properly. This can be due to the mathematics learning processes and methods used by the teacher are not suitable for the needs of students. As a result, the absorption of material by students is not optimal and the results of student learning decrease occurred. One effort that can be used by teachers to assist in teaching mathematics is to use a realistic approach. Realistic Approach Method is a learning method that emphasizes the experience of everyday life to understand mathematical concepts in students. This research method is classroom action research using two cycles. Collecting data using observation techniques, documentation and tests. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of the Realistic approach on student learning outcomes in mathematics. The results of this research were an increase in learning outcomes based on improving the learning process starting in Cycle I and Cycle II, which initially had an average score of 70 which increased to 98.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN USE OF LEARNING MEDIA WITH THE MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES OF SMK N 3 BONDOWOSO STUDENTS

The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between student learning outcomes in mathematics and the use of learning media. The sample for this research was selected from as many as 34 students in class X by using cluster random sampling techniques, namely quantitative and correlation techniques. Questionnaires and learning achievement tests serve as data collection instruments. Data analysis is used, especially direct correlation analysis. This technique determines the significance of the correlation between the variables studied. Normality and linearity tests, which are prerequisite tests for this method, were used. The research findings show that there is a relationship between the use of instructional media and student learning outcomes. This is due to the 0.617 correlation between the use of educational media and student learning outcomes. The fact that the value of 0.617 is in the range of 0.61-0.80 indicates the strength of the relationship. However, the direction of the relationship is favorable because the value of r is favorable

Improving Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes in Algebraic Factorization Material Using the Method Team Accelerated Instruction

Improving student learning outcomes in algebraic factorization material is the aim of this research, through classroom action research using cooperative learning methods.Team Accelerated Instruction. This research was carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Samarinda with the research subjects being thirty-eight class VIII students. The instruments used are assignments, end-of-cycle tests and observations. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics in the form of averages and percentages. The person acting as the learning implementer is the researcher, while the observer is the class VIII mathematics teacher at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 and a female student. The results of data analysis show an increase in the average final score for each cycle. The basic value for cycle I was obtained from the initial ability test results of 43.88 before cooperative learning typeTeam Accelerated Instruction started. In cycle I the basic value increased from the basic average value of 43.88 to 50.05. In cycle II, the average value of learning outcomes increased to 58.88 and in cycle III the average value of learning outcomes increased to 73. So the cycle was stopped because the average value of students' mathematics learning outcomes had reached the minimum completeness criteria of 70. Conclusion This research shows that there is an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes through cooperative learning Team Accelerated Instruction on algebraic term factorization material in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Samarinda.

PENGARUH ALAT PERAGA JARING-JARING BANGUN RUANG TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI KUTAJAYA I KABUPATEN TANGERANG

Learning outcomes are the ability to understand the learning that students have after going through the teaching and learning process that previously did not know to know, which previously could not become able. Based on the results of pre-research at SDN Kutajaya I Tangerang Regency, results were obtained that showed that the results of students' mathematics learning were very low. This study aims to determine the Effect of Space Building Net Props on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class V Students of SDN Kutajaya I Tangerang Regency. This research was motivated by the lack of use of learning aids so that students lack interest and are active in the learning process. This research uses experimental quantitative methods, Quasi Experimental Design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study is all grade V students of SDN Kutajaya I Tangerang Regency totaling 60 students. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The results of hypothesis testing with a t test at the end of learning (posttest) in the control class and experimental class were obtained tcount = 9.94 with a significance level of 95% (∞ = 0.05) obtained ttable = 2.001 because 9.94 > 2.001 (tcount > ttable) then Ho was rejected. The result of this study is that there are differences in student Mathematics learning outcomes between students who use teaching aids to build space nets and students who do not use teaching aids. The application of teaching aids in Mathematics learning can make students interested in the learning, and play an active role during learning.

Computational Thinking pada Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Maulana Maghribi Kandeman dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

Mathematics learning in every era always provides the latest changes and revisions. This is done so that students are more interested in learning mathematics and it is hoped that this interest can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. Computational Thinking is a method or concept of problem solving through the concept of computational thinking. Problem solving is an important asset that Indonesian children must have for creative and innovative competition in the future. While Bebras Task has an important role for students to encourage creativity and innovation in computational thinking. This study aims to improve math problem solving skills through computational thinking. Data collection techniques were carried out with tests, questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews. This research method is quantitative research, with quantitative data analysis techniques using the t test. the results of this study are an increase in creativity and thinking skills in problem solving skills through computational concepts.

COMPARISON OF STUDENTS LEARNING RESULT BASED ON LEARNING BY MEDIA AND LEARNING BY VIDEO IN ALJEBRA CONCEPT

SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh has SPLDV learning media facilities and learning resources which are quite good, but the use of existing media and learning resources has not been utilized optimally which has an impact on student learning outcomes in mathematics. This study aims to determine what media is appropriate to use to motivate students in learning and increase student enthusiasm in learning. The research design used was True Experimental Design. The instrument used in data collection was a math comprehension test question. The application used to design video media is the SREEN O'MATIC. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the T-Test. Based on the research results Calculated T-Value is 2.70 and T-Table Value is 1.70, this means is H1 accepted, so that H0 is rejected at a significant level ? = 0.05, it can be concluded that the teaching aids are better than video in SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh.

Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa

The low student learning outcomes in mathematics may be caused by the selection of an inappropriate learning model. To be able to help students understand learning mathematics, it is necessary to take action that can improve learning outcomes. As an effort to improve student learning outcomes, this study used the STAD-type Cooperative Learning model with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics before and after being given action in the form of applying the STAD-type Cooperative Learning model. Based on the findings that have been analyzed, there is an increase in learning outcomes in cycle I, namely during initial observations the average student learning outcomes in mathematics only amounted to 53.3. After the implementation of the first cycle of learning, student learning outcomes began to increase with an average value of 69.3. However, this increase tends to be still below the targeted completeness criteria. So earning was carried out again in cycle II. During the implementation of cycle II, it experienced an increase, namely an average value of 81.1 was obtained so that it could be declared "Completed" because it had achieved the targeted completeness criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the STAD Cooperative Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Development of Quizizz Application E-Module-Based Teaching Materials on Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Teaching materials have an important role for the continuation of learning so that student learning outcomes are more optimal. Teachers must create a learning media and teaching materials that of course so that students feel interested and active during learning. During a pandemic like this, online learning is certainly not effective if the use of print-based teaching materials is carried out, due to the limited communication between students and teachers. One of the teaching materials that can be sought to improve student learning outcomes is E-Module-based teaching materials with the Quizizz application. The population is all students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Sumber for the 2021/2022 school year. Samples in this study. The class used is class VII G as the control class and VII I as the experimental class. The instruments used are tests and questionnaires. The results of this research are: Based on the validation results from material experts and media experts that the development of e-module-based teaching materials with the quizizz application is suitable for use as mathematics teaching materials and Students' mathematics learning outcomes increase after the provision of e-module teaching materials with the quizizzi application in the learning process.

Application of video-assisted online interactive learning to improve student mathematics learning outcomes

Rapid technological developments should support improving the quality of learning, one of which is online learning. . Online learning is carried out because learning in class is limited by space and time, thus limiting learning interactions. This study aims to describe and analyze student learning outcomes in mathematics by using video-assisted online interactive learning. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is used in this study with some stages namely preparation, action, observation, and reflection. The results of online learning using interactive videos are cycle I on student learning outcomes that obtain scores exceeding the minimum completeness score of 57% and are said to be complete. However, there are still 43% of students who obtain learning outcomes that are less than the minimum standard of completeness or have not been completed. The cause of this is the initial adaptation of students to using media that is packaged interactively. It was continued in the second cycle of learning to produce a learning completeness percentage of 86% for students who had exceeded the minimum standard of mastery scores. This shows an increase from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle II, the process of adaptation and the active participation of students began to have an impact on learning outcomes. Continuing in cycle III shows that the number of students who complete learning reaches 86%, the same as in cycle II, but there are still differences. Cycle II to Cycle III experienced an increase in the average value of learning outcomes, namely cycle II of 76.36; in cycle III, it increased to 78.79. These results indicate that online interactive learning using video can improve student mathematics learning outcomes.
