SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PRODUKSI BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA CV DECO ABADI MAKASSAR

The management of raw materials at CV Deco Abadi Makassar has problems with checking goods, recording production raw materials, and communication between the warehouse and the company. Online information systems allow for systematic data processing that can be used to overcome these problems. This research aims to: 1) produce a website-based production raw material inventory information system at CV Deco Abadi Makassar; 2) obtain user responses regarding the website-based inventory information system at CV Deco Abadi Makassar that has been produced. This research uses data collection methods through observation and interviews with qualitative data analysis. Then, the design was carried out using a waterfall model consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The proposed features include item data input, inventory graphs, stock notifications, and user control. The research results show that 1) the design of a website-based production raw material inventory information system was designed through the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. 2) User responses regarding this information system are to the needs of CV Deco Abadi Makassar.

Scientific production on risks and financial instruments for commodity management

Introduction: Commodity management benefits from a variety of financial instruments and tools that allow companies to mitigate risks and optimize their operations. Among the most used are futures contracts, contracts for difference, risk management tools such as insurance and investment funds. The objective of this article is to analyze the scientific production on risks and financial instruments for the management of raw materials. Methodology: The research paradigm is mixed, through the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. A bibliometric analysis was carried out which was complemented with a documentary review. The study was synthesized in three stages and was carried out in the Google Scholar, Scielo and SCOPUS databases, during the period from 1991 to 2024, without limitations in language. Results: The literature review shows an increase in the adoption of digital technologies to improve internal communication and employee engagement, with Brazil as a leader in the Latin American region. In addition, endomarketing is identified as a key element for attracting and retaining talent, especially in sectors with high competition and a shortage of specific skills. Likewise, its contribution to organizational sustainability is highlighted, focusing on the social dimension by promoting the well-being and development of employees. Conclusion: These findings reflect how endomarketing has been integrated into business strategies to align corporate objectives with the values ​​of social responsibility and job satisfaction, consolidating itself as an essential tool in improving productivity and long-term commitment.

Raw Material Management Strategy in The Production Process of Tos-Tos Tortilla Chips (Case Study at PT Dua Kelinci)

PT Dua Kelinci is a company based in Pati that operates in the food industry. The purpose of this study is to analyze the raw material management strategy in the production process within PT Dua Kelinci’s Tos-tos Tortilla Chips division. The focus of this study is the role of the production supervisor in managing raw materials and ensuring efficient processes. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing primary data collected through interviews. The data was then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the study indicate that PT Dua Kelinci implements its raw material management strategy by (1) following a production process in accordance with work guidelines that outline monthly food orders, (2) recording input and output materials for accurate tracking, and (3) sourcing materials based on the quantity and variety of food orders, ensuring timely procurement of required flavors. This approach ensures a smooth production process, helps maintain product quality, and fulfills customer demands. Efficient management of raw materials not only reduces the likelihood of production delays but also ensures operational stability and cost control. The study concludes that strategic raw material management is essential for sustaining production efficiency and product quality at PT Dua Kelinci.

Implementing the Circular Economy in the European Union and Spain: Links to the Low-Carbon Transition

This paper reviews and analyzes the process of the implementation of the circular economy in the European Union (EU) and Spain, and its links to the low-carbon transition. The EU implementation of the circular economy went through several stages. Since the adoption of the first action plan in 1993, the links between the circular economy and carbon transition goals have become intertwined. Recently, the EU approved the framework of new monitoring measures and indicators for the circular economy. The adopted actions have involved the adaptation of European legislation at the national level. Spain has participated in this process since 2017, when the Circular Economy Pact was signed. The subsequent approval of the Spanish Strategy for a Circular Economy in 2020 was developed, considering a close relationship between decarbonization and the circular economy. Lately, the circular economy implementation has been strengthened with the strategic project for economic recovery and transformation, linked to the recovery of COVID-19, and the roadmap for the sustainable management of mineral raw materials, with both documents including actions directly related to transforming the energy system. Data show that Spain has made significant improvements in the circular economy transition. However, Spain’s vulnerability to externalities is greater than that of the EU as a whole.

From Critical Raw Materials to Circular Raw Materials.

This perspective addresses the key challenge of advancing the use of Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) and proposes a transition towards circular raw material management. In the context of our current economy, the unsustainable consumption, environmental degradation, geopolitical risks, and economic vulnerabilities associated with CRMs highlight the limitations in ensuring long-term CRM availability, emphasizing the environmental, social, and economic implications. In response, this perspective underlines a multifaceted technological approach to mitigate CRM criticality, focusing on reducing CRM use, substituting CRMs with less critical materials, and enhancing recovery and recycling processes, with Design for Circularity as the most impactful solution. The latter advocates for a paradigm shift in product design and material utilization, emphasizing principles like modular design, product life extension, and the transition from product ownership to service models. Such a holistic approach is not only crucial for sustainable CRM management, but is also key to fostering a resilient and low-carbon economy.

The HPLC-PDA Method for Simultaneous Determination of Regalosides from Bulbs of Lilium lancifolium Thunb. and Their Antioxidant Effects.

Lilium lancifolium Thunb. is a herbal medicine that is widely used to treat inflammation and lung diseases. In this study, a simultaneous quantitative method was developed for the quality control of BLL using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a photodiode array detector (HPLC-PDA), and their antioxidant effects were evaluated. Eight regalosides (i.e., regaloside A, B, C, E, F, H, I, and K) were selected as marker substances and separated on a Gemini C18 reversed-phase analytical column by gradient elution with distilled water-acetonitrile mobile phase containing 0.1% (v/v) formic acid. The method was validated with respect to linearity, sensitivities (limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ)), accuracy, and precision. The antioxidant effects of the extract and each component were evaluated using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay and 2-2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) assay. The coefficients of determination values used as indicators of linearity for all components were ≥0.9999. LOD and LOQ concentrations were 0.10-0.66 μg/mL and 0.29-2.01 μg/mL, respectively. The recovery was 95.39-103.925% (relative standard deviation; RSD ≤ 2.55%), and precision RSD was <2.78%. The HPLC-PDA method was applied to real samples, and all components were detected at 1.12-29.76 mg/freeze-dried g. The evaluation of antioxidant effects showed that regalosides C, E, and K exhibited significant antioxidant effects. Our knowledge will be appropriately utilized in raw material management and conducting clinical and non-clinical studies on L. lancifolium or herbal medicine prescriptions containing L. lancifolium.

Pengaruh Rantai Pasok Halal Terhadap Kinerja Produksi Makanan UMKM

The supply chain is a series of overall processes starting from the management, movement, storage and handling of raw materials, inventory of semi-finished goods, which ends with satisfied customers. Researchers use the R-A theory (Resource-Advantage Theory) to explain internal factors and the role of company performance. Researchers use quantitative research with survey methods with data collection techniques, namely questionnaires. The level of potential for the development of MSMEs in Jember Regency is large and continues to increase based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jember Regency also has the largest number of MSMEs in East Java with a total of 647,416. In addition, the market coverage it has is already extensive to various cities and provinces. This is supported by data obtained from media such as Jember radar, detik.com, Tv One, and Kompas Tv. Seeing from these data, its distribution and marketing in Mayang District are areas with the highest production compared to other areas. The population in this study were all Mayang Peanut Cake MSMEs as many as 31 Mayang Peanut Cake MSME business actors in Jember Regency. The results of this study used multiple linear regression analysis by conducting a t-test (partial) and f-test (simultaneous). The results of the analysis indicate that partially the three variables in this study, namely the halal supply chain, HR quality, marketing have a positive and significant influence on production performance. Simultaneously, the three independent variables in this study have a positive and significant influence on the performance of MSME food production.

Inovasi Dan Optimalisasi Proses Produksi Sirup Bunga Rosella Di Desa Karangtengah Kabupaten Kendal

The main focus of this research is to deeply analyze the existing production process, evaluate the technology and equipment used, and identify ways to improve raw material and energy management. Through the application of the latest technology, such as more efficient processing machines and more modern processing methods, it is expected to improve production efficiency, reduce operational costs, and ensure consistent product quality. The research method includes data collection from observations of the current production process, interviews with local producers, and analysis of the equipment and techniques used. In addition, this research also involves testing the implementation of innovations and evaluating their impact on the final product results and production costs. The expected results of this research include improved syrup quality, better operational efficiency, and reduced production costs, which overall can increase the competitiveness of Karangtengah syrup products in the market. The benefits of this research are not only limited to improving the quality and efficiency of production but also include positive economic impacts for the local community. By improving the production process and expanding market reach, it is expected to create new economic opportunities, improve the welfare of local communities, and provide a model for other food processing industries in the region. This research aims to make a significant contribution to the development of the local industry and encourage the adoption of more sustainable and innovative production practices.

Beyond Large-Shaped Tools: Technological Innovations and Continuities at the Late Early Pleistocene Assemblage of El Barranc de la Boella (Tarragona, Spain)

The emergence of the mode 2 technocomplex, traditionally characterized by the development of large cutting tools (LCTs) or standardized large-shaped tools, has also implied a range of new technological behaviours. These include enhanced raw material management, more sophisticated knapping strategies, and transport patterns, among other innovations. Unit II of the localities of La Mina, El Forn, and Pit 1 in El Barranc de la Boella (Tarragona, Spain) — dating back to between 0.99–0.78 million years ago — contains the oldest mode 2 assemblages in the European subcontinent and represents an exceptional opportunity to examine the technological features associated with the appearance of LCTs in Europe and to provide clues to shed light to different hypotheses about their appearance. The presence of functionally diverse but environmentally similar localities enables a study of behavioural flexibility and technological variation, marking a critical contribution to understanding early human technological evolution. Our research focuses on the technological behaviours of hominins in unit II of Pit 1, La Mina, and El Forn at Barranc de la Boella, examining five keys technological aspects such as (1) raw material management, (2) core reduction sequences, (3) reduction intensity, (4) large flake production, and (5) the spatiotemporal integrity of reduction sequences. We compare these behaviours with those observed in mode 1 (~ 1.8–0.9 Ma) and early Middle Pleistocene (~ 0.78–0.6 Ma) assemblages across western Europe. Our findings reveal significant advancements and anticipatory behaviours at El Barranc de la Boella, such as the use of procedural templates for core reduction strategies and the production of large-shaped tools governed by principles of gestural economy, and also the existence of different reduction sequences in different raw materials according to specific purposes. The technological behaviours observed at El Barranc de la Boella seem to be more indicative of population dispersals rather than local evolutionary developments from mode 1 technologies. The non-linear evolution of core knapping strategies, along with the variability in large-shaped tool types, suggests multiple waves of hominin dispersals into Europe during this crucial period. We propose that El Barranc de la Boella may represent an early dispersal of the Acheulean from Africa around 1.4 million years ago, potentially connected to assemblages such as ‘Ubeidiya. This study underscores the complexity of lithic technology during this period and contributes significantly to our understanding of the complex emergence and adoption of new technological behaviours in European early mode 2 assemblages, extending beyond the mere appearance of LCTs.

Mismanagement and poor transparency in the European processed seafood supply revealed by DNA metabarcoding

In the global processed seafood industry, disparate actors play different roles along the supply chain, creating multiple opportunities for mistakes, malpractice, and fraud. As a consequence, consumers may be exposed to non-authentic products, which hinder informed purchasing decisions and broader efforts to improve trade transparency and sustainability. Here, we characterised the taxonomic composition of 62 processed seafood products in Italian, British and Albanian retailers, purposefully obtained from different supply routes, using multiple DNA metabarcoding markers. By combining molecular results with metadata reported on labels, we revealed patterns of mislabelling in 24 products (39%) across sampling regions, denoting lack of transparency of processed seafood products based on resources sourced from either Europe or globally. We show that the accuracy of label claims and the mis-represented and underestimated levels of traded biodiversity are largely determined by the management of raw material by global processors. Our study shows that DNA metabarcoding is a powerful and novel authentication tool that is mature for application at different stages of the seafood supply chain to protect consumers and improve the sustainable management of fish stocks.

Technological variability in El Castillo cave during MIS 4

The variability in Neanderthal behaviour is one of the key debates in Middle Palaeolithic archaeology. Here we present the analysis of the lithic industry from a unit at one of Europe’s main Palaeolithic sites: El Castillo Cave. Unit XXf1.1, dated to the beginning of MIS 4, is an example of human occupation during a period of population decrease. In this assemblage, the technology is organised with the aim of obtaining the largest possible blanks in an environment in which small-sized raw materials predominate, with the presence of imported tools and clear differences in the management of different raw materials. This assemblage is characterized by the predominance of centripetal exploitation methods, and there is only a small number of blanks with laminar tendency, and cleavers. From all this we can observe how Neanderthals were able to find ways to achieve their specific objectives, planning their behaviour to overcome the limitations imposed by the environment.

Optimizing Raw Material Inventory Control for Aluminum Wardrobes Using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Method: A Case Study on Amal Jaya SME

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method in controlling raw material inventory for aluminum wardrobe production in Amal Jaya SME. The inability to accurately predict the average number of customer orders each month indicates unfulfilled consumer demand. Therefore, effective raw material control becomes crucial to ensure availability in accordance with demand. The objectives of this research are to evaluate the management of raw materials using the MRP method and identify its impact on cost efficiency of raw materials in the production process. Additionally, this study aims to optimize raw material inventory to maximize customer demand fulfillment. The MRP method was chosen as the primary approach in this research. The results of the analysis indicate that the implementation of MRP method with Lot for Lot (LFL) lot sizing is the most efficient choice in controlling raw material inventory. Based on calculations using lot-for-lot and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods, the most efficient inventory expenditure incurred by the company amounts to Rp. 26,274,840. Thus, ordering raw materials with Lot for Lot lot sizing can be used as a solution to optimize the control of aluminum wardrobe inventory in Amal Jaya SME.

A Blockchain-Based Model for Traceability and Quality Management of Raw Materials in Clothing Products

In this study, we employ blockchain-based traceability technology to construct a comprehensive model for raw material traceability and quality management in clothing products. Additionally, we investigate engineered water nanostructures (EWNS) for their antibacterial, hydrophilic, and anti-pilling effects on textiles. The EWNS can serve as an effective tool for monitoring quality, enabling precise tracking and verification of nanomaterials during clothing production. The research validated the traceability performance of the blockchain-based model for raw material traceability and quality management in clothing products, achieving a remarkable traceability accuracy of 99.92% and an exceptionally low traceability response time of merely 1.83 seconds. Moreover, after being treated with EWNS, antibacterial rates against E. coli and S. aureus in clothing antibacterial quality management reached 99.9% and 99.0%, respectively. In the hydrophilicity test, EWNS was applied to clothing for a duration of 1 to 7 hours, resulting in a significant reduction in the wetting time of clothing from 10.8 seconds to 1.2 seconds. In the anti-pilling tests, there was a notable enhancement in the effectiveness of anti-pilling properties after EWNS treatment. In summary, our model has achieved remarkable outcomes in material traceability and quality management, offering consumers and the clothing industry a reliable method to ensure product quality and traceability, while simultaneously improving performance aspects such as antibacterial efficacy, hydrophilicity, and resistance against pilling.

Facile synthesis of eco-friendly alginate-chitosan bio-adsorbent for critical raw materials adsorption: A comprehensive study

Sustainable management of critical raw materials is of paramount importance to ensure a steady supply and reduce environmental impact. The application of newly synthesized and environmentally friendly ALG@CS material as a bio-adsorbent for the effective rare earth elements removal from aqueous solution has been presented. The synthesized material underwent FTIR, XPS, EDX, and SEM analysis to determine its suitability for metal uptake. To evaluate the adsorption capacity of ALG@CS for rare earth elements several factors were taken into consideration. These factors included alginate:chitosan ratios, bead size, pH level, composite mass, interaction time, metal ion concentration, and temperature, being all varied during the batch mode evaluation process. Under the optimal conditions, the maximum adsorption capacities were found to be 145.90 mg La(III)/g, 168.44 mg Ce(III)/g, 132.51 mg Pr(III)/g, 128.40 mg Nd(III)/g, 154.36 mg Sm(III)/g, and 165.10 mg Ho(III)/g. The equilibrium data fits well with non-linear three-parameter Sips and Redlich-Peterson isotherm models. The PSO model finds the highest process suitability. The synthesized ALG@CS bio-adsorbent showed excellent regenerative capacity in ten cycles, making it a suitable adsorbent for rare earth elements uptake. The unique bio-adsorbents combination allows for efficient critical raw materials adsorption providing a promising solution for their recovery and recycling.

Современные аспекты управления использованием вторичного сырья в России и за рубежом

This article highlights the current state of secondary materials management on a global scale, focusing on leading world economies and the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of modern literature, the main characteristics, content, as well as key factors directly affecting this market are fixed, with specific examples. The article demonstrates the results of a logical and simulation analysis of the legal aspects concerning the utilization of secondary raw materials, including their classification by origin, toxicity and methods of waste application. It is noted that on a global scale, there is a rethinking of waste processing issues, with management tools, particularly the regulatory framework, undergoing changes, and technologies being in a state of permanent improvement. In conclusion, the management of secondary raw materials is undergoing significant transformation globally, driven by regulatory changes, technological advancements, and evolving consumer preferences. Moving forward, it is essential to prioritize sustainable practices and collaborative efforts to achieve effective resource management and environmental conservation.

Strand Inventory Analysis of Post Tension in PT XYZ Using Discrete-Event Simulation Method

The development of connectivity infrastructure, particularly toll roads, is planned to continue expanding and reach 3,500 km by 2030. This signifies a positive outlook for the construction industry. This research conducted to analyse the management of post tension raw materials and determine the optimal policies using the discrete-event simulation method. Simulation scenarios were developed using the Arena application, taking into consideration the demand patterns for post tension work. The validation test results confirmed the capability of the base case model in accurately representing real-world conditions. Scenario development was carried out to influence the strand inventory pattern by incorporating reorder points and adjusting order sizes. Based on the scenario analysis, the most effective approach was found to be setting a reorder point of 3 tons and an order size of 5 tons. The implementation of this analysis successfully reduced the strand inventory by 58.78%. This research enables companies to optimize their inventory, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. The findings contribute to the development of strategies that support sustainable growth in connectivity infrastructure in Indonesia.

Exploring aspects of Neanderthal mobility in the Mani Peninsula: Evidence from Lithic Raw Material procurement and management at Kalamakia Cave, Greece

The Kalamakia cave located on the western Mani Peninsula, southern Greece is a Middle Palaeolithic site dated between ∼100,000 and >39,000 years BP. The aim of this paper is to provide insights into the Neanderthal groups’ mobility by addressing the lithic raw material procurement and management, with reference to the Kalamakia cave assemblage. The methodology included field survey and laboratory analyses, encompassing macroscopic, petrographic, and geochemical ones, for the location and identification of the sources of used lithic raw materials. Local, semi-local and allochthonous lithic raw materials were used by the Neanderthals at the Kalamakia cave to manufacture tools. The presence of various lithic raw materials used at the cave suggests diverse mobility strategies. The semi-local black/grey chert, followed by the allochthonous andesite was mostly used. Andesite transported across an east–west axis presents a long-term stability, both in terms of percentages and the different artefact types transported in both Unit III and IV of the cave. The significant quantities of andesite in the cave’s assemblage suggest non-random mobility, possibly linked to the exploitation of different ecological environments available in the region. The north-western part of the peninsula saw additional exploitation by groups moving along the coastal north–south corridor. However, cherts transported along this axis occurred occasionally, and their quantities were notably smaller in comparison to andesite. The strategic location of the cave close to the intersection of two natural movement routes, may have played a key role in the circulation of Palaeolithic inhabitants, facilitating movements along east–west and north–south axes.

Identification of supply chain risks in the tobacco products industry in Pasuruan Regency using the supply chain operations reference (SCOR) and house of risk (HoR) model approaches

Introduction: This research aims to identify types of risks and sources of risks, analyze risk priority levels, and formulate mitigation strategies for the tobacco products industry supply chain in Pasuruan Regency. Methods: This research was conducted at the tobacco products industry PT. XZ in Pasuruan Regency. Respondents focused on company managers (focal firms), namely product development, raw material management, research and development pilot plant and tobacco clue management who knew about supply chain risks. Supply chain network integration uses a snowball method approach. Data collection methods use primary and secondary data. At the interview stage, the Delphi method was used to identify risk events and risk sources. Furthermore, the results of the interview were identified using the Supply Chain Operation Reverence (SCOR) and House of Risk (HoR) models. Results: There are 39 risk events and risk agents in the IHT in Pasuruan Regency. There are eight risk priority levels for tobacco supply chain risk agents using the SCOR approach and the Pareto diagram, namely workers not paying attention, problems with machines, high rainfall/high rainfall, production machines need to be repaired, workers' skills are not good, production machines are old, handling bad goods, and errors in the machine. Conclusion: The results of the IHT supply chain risk mitigation strategy formulation are tightening the use of work SOPs, checking production machines regularly, strengthening information between agents and factories, checking machines every 4 hours, conducting worker training, using Google Maps technology in delivering goods, cleaning machines, maintaining product quality, drying/air-drying tobacco leaves, improving quality control during transactions with farmers, and increasing coordination with the Government.

Improving MRP Precision in Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) in the engineering and manufacturing sector through a five-month empirical investigation focused on production processes. Utilizing a combination of literature review, interviews, and direct observation, the research aimed to compare theoretical MRP calculations with actual raw material usage. Results highlighted significant discrepancies between projected and actual figures, indicating potential inaccuracies in current MRP applications. These findings underscore the need for refining MRP systems to enhance forecasting precision and inventory management, suggesting that integrating real-time data and improving algorithmic methodologies could bridge the existing gap between theory and practice in industrial manufacturing. Raw material management for rubber parts manufacturing supply chain using the LPSC model

The paper proposes a new raw material cost management concept in the rubber parts supply chain using the Linear Programming Sharing Cost (LPSC). Rubber parts are widely used in the auto parts industry. There are a variety of product models and material types as well as produced by several subcontractors in the 2nd Tier companies. However, the whole chain controls overall cost management as the 1st Tier company. Cost-effective models are more important in the competitive era.The research methodology combined linear programming (LP) with sharing cost (SC) and was applied to inventory management. The LPSC model is developed to deal with Tier 1 companies linked with Tier 2 companies of the subcontractors. The LPSC is combined with the EOQ inventory management model.A new approach has been developed to reduce the cost of raw material management in the rubber part supply chain.The limitation of the model development is that it does not yet have real-time control of the supply chain management system.The conceptual idea was introduced to Thailand's automotive rubber part supply chain and accepted for testing with the pilot test of actual orders.The paper presents the new conceptual raw material cost management model in the automotive rubber part supply chain. The LPSC combined with EOQ is effective, increases value to the supply chain, and simultaneously reduces waste and overproduction.
