ANALISIS MANAJEMEN KELAS RENDAH DITINJAU DARI STANDAR SARANA DAN PRASARANA DI SDIT AR RISALAH TABALONG

Classroom management is a very urgent activity for education. The class management function says that the function of facilities and infrastructure is to develop and seek the potential of students, both from intellectual, physical, and spiritual aspects. However, problems arise in the discomfort of students in the classroom. This is because the facilities and infrastructure, especially the facilities and infrastructure in the classroom, have not met the standards. Based on these problems, researchers try to provide advice to schools to streamline and use existing facilities as optimally as possible based on the function of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to determine classroom management in terms of facilities and infrastructure as well as the management of curriculum and learning activities contained in SDIT AR RISALAH Tabalong. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from observations, interviews and documentation, results were obtained for standards of facilities and infrastructure that did not meet building floor standards and the results of curriculum management and learning activities were met

Using team-based learning in a problem-based learning medical course to improve transition from a pre-clinical to clinical learning environment


 
 
 Many medical schools choose between using either a problem-based learning (PBL) or a team- based learning (TBL) approach to curriculum to teach pre-clinical students the foundational sciences needed to understand disease processes. This study explores whether it is possible to combine the strengths of both approaches to better prepare medical students for the transition from a pre-clinical to a clinical learning environment. While PBL allows students to identify gaps in learning and then apply new knowledge to an established problem, TBL gives students the opportunity to apply their learning to multiple new clinical problems thus providing opportunities for knowledge transfer. We used the Learning Activity Management System (LAMS) to run modified TBL sessions that were designed to fit within the normal lecture program. Iterative development of the intervention over five years based on staff and student feedback has delivered positive educational outcomes.

This research is motivated by the diverse needs of students in learning, the needs of teachers in carrying out learning activities, and other staff in their professional development. The purpose of this research is to know the process of implementing School-Based Management at SDN 2 Kaliwenang and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of School-Based Management at SDN 2 Kaliwenang. This research method is descriptive qualitative, researchers carry out activities by describing data and facts by finding existing realities and carried out continuously from the beginning to the end of the study. The results of this study showed that the implementation process of School-Based Management at SDN 2 Kaliwenang includes the effectiveness of the learning process, strong school leadership, effective management of personnel, the school has independence, participation of school and community members and school transparency. Supporting factors in the implementation of School-Based Management at SDN 2 Kaliwenang include financial, human resources and their thoughts as well as facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the obstacles in implementing School-Based Management at SDN 2 Kaliwenang include school management, community participation and teaching and learning activities.

Learning management system as a means of mastering Internet programming technologies

Problem. A step towards building an automated system of pedagogical diagnostics and forecasting based on the information system for managing educational activities Moodle has been taken. Goal. The goal of this work is to develop variants for learning the Internet programming, which can be implemented in the information and communication pedagogical environment based on the information system for managing learning activities Moodle. The aim of the discipline is to develop competence in the use of modern Internet programming tools and technologies for developing the server part of web applications in Python. Methodology. The method of information-logical modelling was used to design automated pedagogical diagnostics system. The model of training technology realization for Internet programming study according to the educational program of bachelors' instruction in a specialty "Software engineering" was constructed as a part of this system database and cooperates with the model of educational purpose and the psychologic and pedagogic model of student. Results. Automated pedagogical diagnostics system helps a student to choose a variant of learning educational material in accordance with the existing competencies of the student, knowledge and skills and the expected development of the student in the process of mastering the discipline. Variants for implementing learning technology include the use of the project method as the main way to develop learning material and use interactive elements of Moodle, such as Lesson for programmed learning, Workshop for inter-reviewing process, Quiz for training and diagnosis at the preparatory stages of independent student work. Originality. A model of implementation of learning technology according to study of the discipline "Internet Programming" was built for managing independent work of students in the Moodle system. Practical value. The proposed model should become the basis for automated pedagogical forecasting and design of an individual version of the learning technology implementation for each student.

The condition of students who live in Islamic boarding schools during the pandemic requires a way to facilitate them to continue to study and carry out their activities safely. For this reason, it is necessary to investigate the methods used by managers in carrying out student management so that students can continue to participate in Islamic boarding school activities and programs and avoid exposure to COVID-19. The researcher applied a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as applying triangulation techniques to check the validity of the data. Managers carry out student management to achieve learning goals and achieve the goals of Islamic boarding schools, as well as trying to prevent students from being exposed to COVID-19. The manager places the goals of institutions and government regulations as guidelines for the management of students, including 1) managing the daily schedule of students, 2) managing learning activities, 3) managing the health of students, according to applicable regulations.

Enabling open‐ended questions in team‐based learning using automated marking: Impact on student achievement, learning and engagement

AbstractBackgroundDifferent types of assessments influence learning and learning behaviour. Multiple‐choice questions (MCQs) reward partial knowledge and encourage surface learning, while open‐ended questions (OEQs) promote deeper learning. Currently, MCQs is part of team‐based learning (TBL) curriculum, and it is challenging to implement OEQs as immediate feedback is necessary.ObjectivesWe asked if MCQ and OEQs affect student achievement, student learning and student engagement differently in a TBL classroom.MethodsMCQs and OEQs test scores of N = 66 students were automatically captured in Learning Activity Management System (LAMS) and were compared using a switching replications quasi‐experimental design with pre‐ and post‐tests to answer the research questions. Student learning approaches and engagement in the team activities were assessed using the study process questionnaire and the structure of observed learning outcomes taxonomy respectively.Results and ConclusionsStudents get significantly higher MCQ scores than OEQs for the same set of questions, but the reverse is true for application exercises (AEs), which focus on higher‐level application. Most students significantly deepened their learning approaches before OEQs, while poorly prepared students were less engaged during OEQ discussions. Interestingly students subjected to OEQs took less time and scored higher in AE discussions, suggesting better focus on higher‐level thinking.ImplicationsThis project is significant as it bridges our understanding of the value of OEQs and TBL. Our approach is transferable to other courses, and thus it can improve the quality of teaching and learning in tertiary education.

Learning activities play an essential role in the act of teaching/learning. They highlight the nature of the learners and their ability to perform the tasks easily and make it possible to give meaning to the learning. The idea developed in our article lies in the design and development of a computer system for managing learning activities according to the experiential model of Kolb. For this, we evoke after having defined our problem and our research questions, our theoretical framework, which includes the learning styles, the styles of Kolb, and the bases of the experiential activity of Kolb, our methodology of research, which is articulated on a case study through a survey whose purpose is to define the learning styles of our sample. Then, we suggest learning activities according to the style of each learner, to experiment with them on our sample and make an evaluation to analyze the results obtained which allow us the transition to a model in the form of a pedagogical scenario. Finally, our model will be managed by a learning management computer system adapted to each learner according to his learning style according to Kolb.

Development of Puzzle Learning Media to Introduce the Types of Animals Based on Their Breeding Methods in Grade 3 Students at SDN Catakgayam 1

Success in learning depends on the skills of teachers who manage learning activities. There is a new syllabus in the world of Indonesian education, namely thematic. Thematic is a learning method that presents various lessons into a subject that has a subject process with one theme and is adapted to student development (Diani, 2017: 105). Therefore, when using thematic applied teaching in primary schools, teachers should use tools to provide a variety of teaching materials. However, SDN Catak Gayam 1 Mojowarno in its teaching staff is still not varied when teaching during the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to develop a puzzle learning media to introduce the types of animals based on their breeding methods. This type of research is research and development using 4D models. The data was obtained by using a questionnaire/questionnaire and the observation of the research results produced a product in the form of puzzle learning media. The eligibility of puzzle media is included in the criteria, with an average score or score 91% and the effectiveness of the puzzle media can be seen from the results of the observation sheet during learning which is assessed by the class teacher and gets a percentage of 88% containing the very effective category.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on various aspects of human life. One of them is in the field of education. As a result of the outbreak, teaching and learning activities that should be carried out face-to-face must now be carried out online. In response to this, the development of learning media, especially those that use technology, is very necessary. Teachers must be more creative and innovative in managing learning activities during the pandemic. One of the interactive worksheets was created using the Liveworksheet application. The Liveworksheet application supports online learning to make it more interesting so that student learning outcomes can be achieved. Liveworksheets can display material in the form of videos, mp3, images, and other interesting symbols that can add interest.

Learner autonomy of medical students in the process of development of communicative strategies in receptive speech skills

Learner autonomy is not a new topic in teaching foreign languages, but it has received an abundance of attention for the last two years, when the study process has been held online which made it to be heavily dependent on the students’ self-study skills and strategies. In the article, the focus of research has been focused on a few key issues. First, it is the problem of definition: a cluster of content views have been analyzed, which made it possible to come to a conclusion that in relation to the topic discussed in the paper, learner autonomy can be understood as a multicomponent structural didactic phenomenon that involves independent application of a set of learning strategies to manage learning activities in the formation of listening and reading skills strategies in reading and listening with further reflection on the whole learning process and evaluation of its results. Second, the algorithm of learner autonomy functioning has been defined, at the same time revealing the structural components of the process (learner competence, constructive and creative activity positioning, active learner positioning, reflective self-evaluation positioning). On the basis of psychological understanding of autonomous activity, it has been proved that the key element of learner autonomy is the situation of real choice (choice of purpose, motive, methods, techniques and forms of work, strategies for each task, methods and forms of task evaluation, etc.) which provides a certain psychological justification for the creation of such situations in the educational process, which would allow to positively adjust the student to effective educational and cognitive activities. Finally, the methodical suggestions on how to develop future doctors’ communicative competence in foreign (German) language receptive speech skills have been provided in relation to decision-making algorithms and learner autonomy integration. Curriculum and Learning Management: Integration With Creative Economy Values in Improving Students' Life Skills

A curriculum is an important unit in the learning process as guidance for teachers in managing learning activities both inside and outside the classroom. Since vocational education has the function of preparing the workforce, they are required to produce graduates as the demands of the working world. The manpower needed is human resources who have the competence and skills under their field of work, high adaptability, as well as competitiveness. Previous studies have found that the curriculum is developed according to the demands of the working world and to anticipate developments in science and technology. Schools also involved creative actors in learning activities, intended to integrate various creative activities in the curriculum, especially in the C3 component of expertise competencies in the substance or teaching materials. Learning at SMK Grafika Desa Putera is presented in various competencies by integrating the important value of the creative economy for students. The learning model is presented and organized into normative, adaptive, productive, local content, and self-development programs to produce productive creative work. It can be concluded that the implementation of creative economy education aims to foster positive (creative) character, attitudes, and behavior as a form of realization of the Ministry Regulation No. 32/2013 concerning National Education Standards mandating that the learning process are required to be carried out actively, creatively, innovatively, and student-centered

Analytical Hierarchy Process in The Assessment of The Best Teacher In the Category of Learning Activity Management System

The implementation of online lectures using blended learning needs to be assessed to find out the performance activities of lecturers with students in using the learning activity management system (LAMS) feature and reward lecturers with the best performance. Based on the assessment system of the best lecturers previously have not used the right methods so that the resulting decision is still not right and not accurate. This research aims to implement the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in the assessment process of lecturers who are the best in using LAMS. The performance of the AHP method can determine the weight value of criteria consistently and can perform a role to produce solutions in decision making. The criteria indicators used to consist of Interactive Video Teaching Materials (C1), Audio Teaching Materials (C2), URLs (C3), Forum/FBL (C4), Slide Teaching Materials (C5), Assignments (C6), Quiz (C7), Attendance (C8), and Labels (C9). The results of this study showed that the performance of the Decision Support System (DSS) using the AHP method can determine a better weight value with a consistency level of 0.080049762 from 0.1. These results presented with AHP performance can provide weighting value on each criterion and continue the multiplication process with the best lecturer assessment data to get the results of the battle. Overall these results concluded that each criterion had a degree of consistent relationship in the best lecturer assessment on LAMS.

Peranan Kompetensi Guru Terhadap Pengembangan Life Skill Siswa SMP Negeri 31 Kabupaten Halmahera Barat

This research aims to find out the Role of Teacher Competence Towards the Development of Life Skills of State Junior High School Students 31 West Halmahera Regency, which aims to find out several things, namely; How the role of PPKn teachers in improving the quality of teaching and learning by using the student's life skills approach. This study uses survey methods by collecting their own data a number of units in the same time (time period), which is related to how conditions, characteristic processes, results of a variable, using a set of instruments that are data collection tools and used in collecting data to make it easier and systematic. The results of this study show that Teacher Competence Towards The Development of Life Skills of State Junior High School Students 31 West Halmahera Regency, Teachers are one of the various sources and learning media, so the role of teachers in learning becomes wider and more leads to student learning motivation through his role as a teacher. Teachers are expected to be able to encourage students to always learn in various activities or opportunities through various sources and media. Teachers should help every student and effectively be able to use learning opportunities from various learning sources and media effectively and efficiently. In the learning process a teacher focuses more on aspects, planning the organization of teaching materials, planning the management of teaching and learning activities, planning the management of classes, planning the use of media and teaching resources, and planning assessment of student achievement for the benefit of teaching. Teachers must be able to make decisions on the basis of proper assessment, whether teaching and learning activities are sufficient, whether the methods are changed, whether past activities need to be repeated, while students have not been able to achieve learning goals.

Issues of Improving the Technology of Organization and Management of Independent Learning Activities of Students in the Fine Arts

This article is devoted to the organization of independent educational technologies in the professional training of future teachers of fine arts, the development of its methodological, creative, art and educational systems. Also, methodological support, the organization of independent education on the basis of modern pedagogical technologies and the development of independent learning skills of students focus on the problems of organizing the development of lessons in the professional disciplines of fine arts.

Upaya Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru dalam Pengelolaan Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 melalui Supervisi Akademik dengan Pendekatan Kolaboratif

Collaborative supervision is partnership-based supervision between the supervisor and the supervisee. The purpose of this research was to find out whether academic supervision through a collaborative approach can improve teacher competence in managing teaching and learning activities and how teachers' responses to the learning in the Even Semester 2020/2021 at SMA Negeri 2 Bunguran Timur. This research method was classroom action research with two cycles. The results showed that academic supervision through a collaborative approach could scientifically improve teachers' competencies in the Management of Teaching and Learning Activities, as evidenced by the increase of supervision percentage from the aspect of academic supervision that met all of the criteria from 31% to 83% after the action. The teachers responded positively to the academic supervision using a collaborative approach, which can help them in teaching and learning activities.

Maya: An artificial intelligence based smart toy for pre-school children

Toys are valuable educational tools that, while entertaining, they also help in childhood development. Traditional instructional materials do not adequately take into account children’s individual development abilities. New instructional materials should be developed so that children can obtain education in accordance with their own learning pace and learning processes. The possible benefits to be drawn from smart devices that cater to more than one sensory organ simultaneously and the inferences to be drawn from scenarios utilizing such instructional materials are amazing. The aim of this study was to develop a smart toy using artificial intelligence in order to support the concept development of preschool children in terms of numbers, shapes, animals and colors. In this study, the design and development process of the smart toy Maya is explained. Maya is a humanoid robot that supports children in learning at their own pace and can determine what and how to teach and to which child. It is an intelligent tutoring system that can perform image processing and natural language processing in the teaching process. Maya is being able to recognize its user, to interact, and to manage learning activities according to the learning speed of the child. A design-based research method was used in the study. A needs analysis was conducted during the design phase of the smart toy, and the attributes that a toy should provide to help the acquisition of the concept by children were determined. A toy prototype was developed within the framework of the determined criteria. Preschool teachers were interviewed about the prototype toy. Improvements were made to the toy in response to its perceived flaws as well as other feedback, and the second iteration of the smart toy was developed. The toy’s shortcomings were discovered through interviews and were then removed, and the toy was given its final form. An interactive smart toy which can be used for both individual and group activities was developed at the end of research. In this study, the educational, hardware and software components of the smart toy are emphasized, and a framework for the smart toy design and the development process is provided.

Evaluating of Digital Platforms Related Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic: Students' Satisfaction View

Various technology applications have been used in the teaching and learning process as a medium in the Covid-19 pandemic era to make the learning process easier. This study aims to determine the results of the evaluation of digital platforms for online learning systems that have been used during the covid-19 pandemic. Digital platforms a multimedia technology that facilitates online learning activities easily, especially during the current pandemic through the internet network. The research method used a qualitative descriptive cross-sectional. The subjects of the study were postgraduate students in Institute Injil Indonesia that were 90 students. The sample is taken using a simple random sample. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students had a high level of satisfaction with Zoom as a digital platform in video conferencing and other digital platform applications that were considered satisfying, namely YouTube and Whatsapp. However, educators and some lecturers also like to use email for task collection activities during online learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study have implications for the development of digital applications for the management of online learning activities in the provision of paid video conferencing facilities for Institut Injil Indonesia.
