ANALISIS HUBUNGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DENGAN EFEKTIVITAS KERJA PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL PADA BAGIAN PENGOLAHAN DATA ELEKTRONIK PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA

This study aims to determine the implementation of management information systems and the effectiveness of Civil Servants working in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province, and to find out the relationship between Management Information Systems and the Effectiveness of Civil Servants Work in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province.The population in this study were all employees with the status of Civil Servants working in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province, totalling 32 people. Sampling is done by using the saturated sample method (census), which is to use the entire population as a sample (respondent) besides that it is used by 2 informants namely the Head of Section and Head of the Electronic Data Processing Subdivision.In this study used product-moment correlation analysis and qualitative analysis.The results of the study showed that the management information system used by the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province had on average been good, and the work effectiveness of civil servants in the Electronic Data Processing Section of Southeast Sulawesi Province was also good on average.

Technological advances will be very useful and meaningful to life if used properly and properly. One of the uses of technology in the field of education is in the management information system (SIM). Padang Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational School has made use of these technological advancements to support the smoothness and progress of education with the implementation of management information systems. This has been proven by web / sisfo assessment, attendance and report card management. The management information system has been computerized and well-automated, to improve work effectiveness and efficiency. Reducing the use of paper and ink. Then the most important thing is tidying up and securing the data. Data can be input, accessed, and printed anytime anywhere as long as there is an internet connection, can be accessed via a computer and smartphone (Android).

Includes data management and data storage management is done simply where data is only stored in excel. It looks less effective and efficient in technology’s development. Now, in Education, the lack of good cooperation between the school and parents to support the application of management information systems to improve quality of education. This is the implementation of Management Information System is already being adopted by schools, especially in SMP N 1 Talamau. The researcher use field research method that is qualitative research. The outcomes are that existing management information systems already meet the standards, both in terms of the student, curriculum, human resources, the facilities and the quality of the user, who is able to manage the activities that exist in the school. And then, the role of parents is also important in implementing management information systems to improve the quality of education. SMP N 1 Talamau applies a specific strategy that utilizes information technology-based Management Information Systems, namely an information and consultation room that functions as a consultation center between the school and parents and gives access to parents to see the development of students' Academic values.

ASSET MANAGEMENT BASED ON MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM AND ACCOUNTING OF STATE PROPERTY (MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND ACCOUNTING FOR STATE PROPERTY) IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE AGENCY (BLU) UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET SURAKARTA

This research was conducted with the aim (1) To determine the implementation of Management Information Systems and Accounting for State Property (SIMAK-BMN) in asset management within the Public Service Agency (BLU) of Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta; (2) To find out the advantages of implementing SIMAK-BMN in asset management in the Universitas Sebelas MaretSurakarta; (3) To find out the problems in the implementation of SIMAK-BMN in asset management within the Universitas Sebelas MaretSurakarta; (4) To find out the solution to the problems in the implementation of SIMAK-BMN in asset management within the Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The source of the data came from interviews with 13 informants and related documents. The techniques of collecting data were by interview, observation, and documentation. The sampling technique in the study was purposive sampling. The research subjects in this study were officials and staff related to the management of BMN in Universitas Sebelas Maretwhich were represented by 13 people. Data analysis started from the stage of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that the actual rules regarding BMN Management have not been fully understood by stakeholders in the Universitas Sebelas Maret, this has the effect: the implementation of BMN management is not fully in accordance with applicable regulations; controlling the management of BMN is still weak, so it needs improvement to provide a good understanding of BMN management; currently the stakeholders of BMN management focus more on procurement, while the other management scope is still being ruled out.

The Impact of Information System Implementation to the Integrated System for Increasing the Supply Chain Performance of Manufacturing Companies

This study examines the impact of information system management implementation on the company performance with the mediating role of process innovation and process innovation. Data collection is conducted by distributing questionnaires to, and through interviews with the respondents engaged in the department of the information system of 41 companies in Surabaya, Indonesia. The questionnaire is designed using a five-point Likert scale ranging from 1: strongly disagree up to 5: strongly agree. The data analysis uses smart PLS software version 3.0. The study found that the implementation of a management information system directly affects the process of innovation. The implementation of a management information system also directly influences product innovation. The implementation of a management information system does not directly affect the supply chain performance. The process innovation improves product innovation. Process innovation does not provide a direct impact on supply chain performance. Product innovation directly gives an impact on the improvement of the performance. In total, the implementation of management information systems affects supply chain performance through the process innovation and product innovation by the coefficient of 0.526. This study contributes to the current research on supply chain management and paves the way for managers to improve the supply chain performance by implementing the management information system, product innovation, and process innovation.

The problem is that, in spite of the effective role of management information systems (MIS) in improving decision-making in organisations, the implementations of these systems are faced challenges. This problem is especially susceptible to project-based organisations due to their nature and uncertainty. Also, a number of critical success factors (CSFs) in implementing these systems require a good way to categorise. Therefore, due to the gap, in this research, Kano method was used. So, firstly, these CSFs of the implementation of MIS were collected and then they were analysed through questionnaires by academic experts. Then, these CSFs filtered using binomial test and the final CSFs were classified using Kano method. According to the definition of Kano, it can be said that the success of MIS implementation in the project-based organisations is realised when basic characteristics are met, functional characteristics are increased and as far as possible, attractive features can be achieved.

Research and implementation of management information system for Engineering Training Center in university

Engineering Training Center (ETC) in university is based on engineering training and teaching, supplemented by production, which is different from the general factory. So, existing commercial software systems cannot be directly applied to ETC. This paper presents a management information system (MIS) for Engineering Training Center in university, named ETC-MIS. The proposed ETC-MIS includes the managements of routine training teaching and external processing tasks. Firstly, the information needs of ETC were analyzed in depth. Then, the whole data flow model of system was discussed. Finally, the module function of ETC-MIS was designed. Practical application indicates that ETC-MIS significantly improves the efficiency of ETC in university.

ANALISIS PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DAN KOMPETENSI PEGAWAI SERTA PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI

The study titled "The study of the influence of the use of information systems and employee competence on the performance of employees in the Board of Industry and Trade Fakfak Regency ", was conducted with the aim to know how the influence of the application of management information systems to employee performance in the Department of Industry and Trade in Fakfak Regency.The research was conducted by survey the use of management information system, the application of competence and its effect on employee performance. Survey is done by observation method and comprehensive interview to respondent. The number of respondents is 40 people who are also employees in Department of Industry and Trade in Fakfak Regency, the data obtained through the questionnaire is then analyzed with the help of SPSS vers 11.5 program. Based on the result of the research, it can be seen that the application of management information system significantly influence the performance of employees at Department of Industry and Trade in Fakfak Regency, with regression coefficient 0,650 (p-value = 0.000). Employee competence significantly affects the performance of employees at Department of Industry and Trade in Fakfak Regency, with a regression coefficient of 0.679 (p-value = 0.000). This shows that the competence of employees, will drive the performance of government agencies directly by 67.9%. Implementation of management information system and employee competence together significantly affect the performance of employees at Department of Industry and Trade in Fakfak Regency of 68.1%.

Design and implementation of information management system for clinical research ethics review in large general hospitals

Objective Discussing the approach to design and implementation of ethical review information management system in clinical research involving human subject. Methods Systematic design and implementation based on ICH-GCP, Chinese GCP, Ethical review of biomedical research involving human subjects, Standard Operating Procedure compliant with Asia Pacific SIDCER certification standards, as well as the working experiences of author group. Results According to the specific working procedures in Beijing e-plugger Support Technology Co. Ltd, We implement ethical management system with real-time online interactive work model among investigators, ethical committee secretariat and ethical reviewers, which is prepared for further system optimization and upgrade. Conclusions The application of ethical review information management system make the ethical management work more reliable, efficient, and also improve the quality of ethical review, which helps a lot in safeguarding the development of medical science. PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN DI SMP NEGERI 21 MAKASSAR

This study aims to: 1). To know the implementation of management information system in SMP Negeri 21 Makassar. 2). To know the learning process at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar. 3). To know the factors that support the implementation of management information system in SMP Negeri 21 Makassar. This type of research is qualitative, with data acquisition through observation, interview, documentation. The validity of data in this study using triangulation.The results of this study include: (1). Implementation of Management Information System at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar has been done well. This is manifested in the use of data management applications dapodik and information technology in supporting the learning process by providing educational services based on infrastructure technology, such as learning facilities by combining computers with wifi. (2). Implementation of the learning process in SMP Negeri 21 Makassar is, before implementing the learning process must go through three stages namely, first, the planning stage, by making effective day analysis and analysis of learning programs, making annual programs, preparing syllabus, preparing lesson plans, and make assessment of learning. Second, the implementation phase, by analyzing aspects of the approach, aspects of strategy and tactics, aspects of methods and techniques. Learning media used are, print media (books), pictures, LCD and computer. Third, the evaluation stage of learning knowledge is tested in writing, oral, and a list of exam questions. Evaluation of skills learned evaluated with practice exams, and analysis of tasks evaluated by educators themselves. (3). Factors that support the existence of management information system that is the dapodik system containing data educators and data learners. So it can be concluded that the management information system is very supportive in the world of education, especially in the learning process at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar.

A proper implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) can improve an organization's performance, productivity, and work efficiently. Three factors are vital in the successful implementation of MIS. These are organization factors, technology factors and management factors. There are several other factors but these three are the most important ones according to observation. All other factors can be incorporated into these three factors. These three main factors work in an integrated and coordinated way. There are several other important sub-factors in each of these three areas. These are also discussed in this paper. Management Information Systems (MIS) play a vital role in decision-making process. Managers can improve their decision-making process with the successful execution of Information Systems. Our main goal in this paper is to determine the factors and make discussions on them. How they affect in the successful implementation of MIS is also discussed here.

Designing Customer Target Recommendation System Using K-Means Clustering Method

UD Swiss is a company engaged in the field of goods distribution located in Cirebon. In achieving sales targets, customer marketing department sets customer targets to be visited based on the type and location of outlets. However, the method of targeting customers does not achieve the sales target yet due to the differences in the characteristics of purchases per product category for each type of outlet. The research in this paper focuses on the analysis and implementation of management information system to help the company gain knowledge in targeting customers based on the profile and characteristics of each customer group in doing transactions. The information system is made to load each of the knowledge generated by the analysis of customers’ characteristic using the k-means clustering. The system is designed to use the programming language “Groovy and Grails” and is built using the .NET Framework that can run on the Java platform with support of PostgreSQL as a database. Grouping customers using k-means clustering method generates groups of potential customers who are considered to be the target in the process of product sales. Customers who have an average purchase at least Rp 2,028,813.00 per transaction with the minimum purchase frequency of 25 transactions a year is a potential customer.

Developing a system for the initiation of projects using a Markov chain

We performed an analysis of the peculiarities and the generalization of assessing the degree of perfection in the production systems for the development of information-management system of the evaluation and initiation of projects using a Markov chain. A hypothesis was put forward and confirmed on that the degree of perfection of a production system can be represented by using a generalized indicator of system quality, which corresponds to the level of existing risk. A model is proposed to assess the level of perfection of organizational-technical system, which includes four discrete states that correspond to the risk level ratings in the system: R1 – low risk, R2 – medium risk, R3 – high risk, R4 – extreme risk. A phenomenological reflection of the risk is a Markov chain. To construct a Markov model, we identified possible transitions in the risk degree assessments as the states of the production system. We devised a method for the identification of a Markov model by determining experimentally a matrix of transition probabilities based on data on questionnaire survey of the employees. It is proved that the size of minimal sample for a survey does not exceed 90 questionnaires for the assigned level of reliability рd=0.95 – in this case, error in the values of transition probabilities will not exceed 0.75 %. A structure of the information-management system is proposed to control the process of project initiation, in which Markov model is an element of the control loop. The key process that creates preconditions for the practical implementation of information-management system is to determine transition probabilities in the Markov chain through the technique of questionnaire survey. We examined practical aspects of the initiation and implementation of projects under conditions of acting enterprise. Results in the coordinates of estimates of the degree of risk during the year of the study demonstrated significant improvement in the evaluation by personnel of the activities that addressed labor safety. This improvement occurred due to a decreased share of workers who assessed risk as high (from 28.6 % to 22.2 %) and those who evaluated risk as extreme (from 22.4 % to 10.1 %). Judging by these data, the implemented projects can be considered successful.

Discussing the Impact of Management Information System (MIS) on Improvement of Efficiency and Quality of Services of Hospitals—Case Study: Tehran’s Madayen Hospital

<p>In every industry, improvement of efficiency is one of the main priorities of managers. Increased efficiency has more importance in service based industries, because in these industries improvement of efficiency turns into a software category and in fact, in these industries increased assets can not necessarily lead to increased efficiency. In such conditions, the focus should be shifted towards software development. One of the most important service providing sections is the section of healthcare. Both at the macro level of nations, especially Iran and the micro levels including families, healthcare services are crucially important. This section is in contact with the vast majority of people and as a result it can affect the views and satisfaction of people and therefore, is highly emphasized. In spite of that, there is several information flows embedded in the section of healthcare and especially in hospitals. Hospitals include a large flow of information and management of this information requires advanced systems. Management information systems can be crucially useful in terms of management of this information. Every year, hospitals spend huge costs for implementation of management information systems. For organization managers it is important to know that to what extent these systems can impact the quality of services. In this research it has been tried to fulfill this question and for this purpose, the existing information in Madayen hospital is utilized. For the purpose of analysis of results, the approach of analysis of structural equations was applied through the LISREL and SPSS software. Results indicated that management information systems have impacts on financial dimensions, customer orientation, quality of services and quality of internal processes.</p>

Integration in the chain: a case study on the collaboration in the chain of a resale company of parts for industrial equipment

The increasing market competition makes companies seek better results, through partnerships with suppliers, and it isnecessary to analyze and adapt to the requirements of customers and market. Thus, for the realization of this article, it is based on concepts of Logistics according to supply chain, intending to analyze operational processes and suggest improvements in results and competitive gains for collaboration in the chain of trade in pieces of industrial equipment company in the Greater São Paulo region. Therefore, we conducted literature searches through books and articles, as well as a case study, which in general, revealed that the supply chain of the studied company has great potential for improvement it once has modest integration actions compared to a model with a strategic focus and some deviations compared to the academic literature. Research results have shown issues such as ignorance of the subject proposed by the employees as well as the need to create alternatives to maximize the interaction between the sectors within the organization contributing more competitive solutions in addition to providing agility in the process as a whole. To carry out further research, it is recommended further study regarding the implementation of management information systems to improve some processes and, consequently, the outcome of that organization.
