Does Organisational Justice Truly Ignite Employee Happiness and Propel Citizenship Behaviour? In-Sights From Ghana’s Tertiary Landscape

This study analysed the impact of employees’ organisational justice perception (OJP) on their engagement in organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) within tertiary educational institutions in Ghana. Furthermore, the study investigated the mediating effect of employee happiness on the relationship between OJP and OCB among employees in tertiary educational institutions in Ghana. A total of 394 respondents from 27 tertiary institutions in Ghana participated in the survey through the administration of questionnaires. The study employed Structural Equation Modelling to examine the hypothesised relationships and Andrews Hayes’ Process Model was utilised for mediation analysis. The results indicated that the level of employee happiness in the workplace is a substantial and positive indicator of OCB and served as a full mediator in the link between OJP and OCB. The study recommended that the management of tertiary educational institutions and human resource management practitioners should develop evidence-based interventions aimed at boosting employee well-being and promoting positive perceptions of organisational justice.

The implementation of the reward system will affect employee performance, as well as teachers. This study aims to determine the system of giving Islamic education rewards. The research method used is a literature study. Data sources in this study consist of primary data sources obtained from journals or articles and books related to the management of educators and education personnel. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of data analysis show that Islam teaches that in giving rewards in education is oriented to sincere intentions, dimensions of the world and the hereafter, the importance of morality, and the role of managers of educational institutions

AI Based College Surveillance System for Class Skipper

Traditional methods of taking attendance are often time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to inefficiencies in academic administration. The Classroom Skipper Recognition System (this project) is an innovative solution designed to streamline attendance management in educational institutions. This project addresses these challenges by harnessing the power of facial recognition technology coupled with advanced algorithms. Initially, this project builds a comprehensive database of students' facial data, where each student's face is captured and stored. This data is then used to train a robust face recognition model, ensuring high accuracy in identifying individuals. During class sessions, instructors input the current time, triggering the system to initiate attendance tracking. Using real-time facial detection, this project analyzes the faces present in the classroom and matches them against the stored database. Students who are recognized as present are marked as such in the attendance records. Moreover, the system periodically reassesses attendance by comparing the current session's detected students with historical data. A key feature of this project is its ability to detect class skippers—students who were present in previous sessions but are absent without valid reasons in the current session

A factor of the state's national security is reducing energy dependence and taking measures to increase energy efficiency, especially in the budgetary sphere, because about 90% of such buildings do not meet modern energy efficiency requirements. Creating a reliable energy consumption management system, choosing measures to reduce consumption and diversifying energy sources is a difficult task that requires consideration of building energy consumption processes as a complex problem with the use of modern tools of the energy management system, modeling, and the use of modern approaches to automation and measurements. The object of research is energy consumption processes in educational institutions. The subject of the research is energy characteristics and methods of energy consumption management in educational institutions. Research methods. analytical methods, system analysis, synthesis, modeling, systematization, method of comparative and structural analysis. One of the tasks of this study is to review the capabilities of software products that can be used by energy managers of educational institutions to monitor, analyze and forecast energy consumption, as well as to create reports. Also in the work, an analysis of the state of affairs regarding energy consumption management was carried out on the example of KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi; proposals for the development of the automated energy monitoring system were provided, in particular, the architecture of the web application was developed taking into account the support of existing databases to improve the energy monitoring process.

Talent Management Practices in Higher Educational Institutions- A Bibliometric Analysis

Talent management practices are becoming crucial in educational institutions. These practices seek to discover and develop the talents and abilities of educators, staff members and students, ensuring that the institution can deliver quality education while remaining competitive. The study attempts to identify important topics, trends, and notable publications in this field. The analysis covers numerous sources during a pre-determined period (2018-2022), including books, conference proceedings, and scholarly journals. The Bibliometric analyses were conducted using data from the Scopus database (Total Scopus Data=55), VOSViewer, the Bibliometrics library, and the Biblioshiny platform of the RStudio® software. The results show that several themes like significant authors, publications, references, institutions, and nations’ information have emerged as essential elements of talent management in educational settings. We also analyse the geographic distribution, regional differences and possible research areas for cross-cultural comparisons. This study analyses the literature on these themes and contributes to our understanding of how to handle talent management in educational institutions.

Academic Management and Instructional Practices of Higher Education Institutions in Lanao Del Norte: Basis for Faculty Development Plan

Academic management and instructional practices synergize within higher education, with effective management enhancing teaching quality and performance. Recognizing this symbiotic relationship, a study was conducted in Lanao del Norte to explore this correlation and develop a faculty development plan. Through in-depth interviews and a survey of 300 faculty members, including professionals, instructors, and lecturers, across various disciplines and institutions, data was gathered during the 2023-2024 academic year. Statistical analyses were employed to discern patterns, including mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson-r, and ANOVA. Surprisingly, the study found that factors like educational attainment, position, and training attendance did not significantly correlate with assessments of academic management or instructional practices. Moreover, no meaningful association emerged between faculty perceptions of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling within academic management and their instructional practices. These findings underscore the need to elevate the focus on academic management and align it with faculty descriptions of instructional practices. Consequently, the study proposes a tailored faculty development plan to enhance academic management and instructional quality, fostering sustained excellence within higher education institutions.

Influence of Human Resource Management on Work Performance at Vietnam Higher Education Institutions

The purpose of the paper is to examine the impact of human resource management on employee performance in Vietnam universities. In addition to empirically testing the hypotheses in the context of university autonomy in Vietnam, the research has attempted to further examine the achieved results and challenges for human resource management in Vietnam's higher education institutions through the variable regulating University autonomy. The findings in the research have provided empirical support for the correlation between human resource management and employee performance in higher education institutions. The author asked for the opinions of several experts on the questionnaire. Then send the test questionnaire to 10 agencies in higher education institutions. The author has adjusted the questionnaire to make it easier to understand to get the most accurate and reliable answers. The author sent the questionnaire during the period from April 2023 to June 2023, the total number of survey questionnaires distributed was 370 questionnaires, of which 350 votes are eligible for analysis.

Particularly concerning the management and provision of services to student communities, the limitations of traditional fragmented and departmentalized models are gradually becoming apparent. Against this backdrop, the emergence of a "one-stop" model for student community education management and services seeks to integrate a comprehensive range of support, encompassing academic guidance, psychological counseling, lifestyle amenities, and career planning, through a unified service platform. This model not only optimizes resource allocation and enhances service efficiency but, more importantly, significantly augments students' sense of attainment and satisfaction. Nevertheless, to realize this objective, universities must delve deeply into exploration and innovation across multiple dimensions, including administrative structures, information technology infrastructure, human resources, and student feedback.

Application of Q-learning algorithm based on heterogeneous sensor networks in higher education teaching management

With the rapid advancement of information technology and online technologies, it has become imperative for all colleges and universities to address the challenge of leveraging modern management methods to enhance management efficiency, level, and practices. In the realm of educational institution management, the learning management system stands as the cornerstone of contemporary campus management and the entire campus computer network. In this article, the Q-learning algorithm, specifically applied to a heterogeneous cellular network, is employed to investigate the issues pertaining to teaching management in colleges and universities.The design and implementation of the university teaching management system mainly uses heterogeneous cellular networks to establish a physical model of the Q-learning algorithm, and then in the Rayleigh channel, the coverage factor and the system rate expression are derived in a closed form, and in a closed form Derive the energy efficiency expression, and then optimize the density of the basic micro-station algorithm to maximize performance. In the process of system design, this paper uses an algorithm to analyze the current research status of university teaching management, then proposes the research purpose and subject content, and analyzes the university's teaching management function and potential future functional requirements. When designing the university learning management system, it describes in detail the overall design concept, key technologies, system structure, and operating system structure and system topology. ORGANIZATIONAL AND INNOVATION MANAGEMENT OF FINANCIAL AND PERSONNEL SUPPORT FOR THE INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

At this historical stage of development, Ukraine is going through the most difficult times since the period of gaining its independence. The logic of state administration, financial and credit relations, social guidelines and the foreign policy of our country in general has changed. The sectors of education and science, in which not always positive changes are taking place, were also affected by such changes. Rather, on the contrary, there is a trend of stagnation in education caused by weak institutional support, and imperfect personnel and financial policies. The aggressive policy of the Russian Federation in relation to our country caused a powerful surge of internal and external migration of the population, including highly professional and narrowly qualified workers who were involved in educational and scientific processes and proved their effectiveness. In such conditions, it becomes necessary to determine the orientations of the organizational and innovative management of financial and personnel support of academies, institutes, universities and other educational institutions in the conditions of the restoration of intellectual potential. It is especially important to develop a methodology for its assessment and forecasting. In this context, the article proposes ways of evaluating, forecasting and improving the organizational and innovative management of financial and personnel support of higher education institutions. In the process of writing the article, economic and mathematical methods, tools and models were used, in particular two-factor regression models, Farrar-Glober tools, the method of least squares, and Fisher's F-criterion analysis. Taking into account the trends of forecasting financial and personnel support in order to improve the management of higher education institutions, managers should pay attention to the need to attract investments to improve the quality of scientific research.

Giving is receiving: exploring the linkage between university corporate social responsibility and university corporate brand legitimacy

PurposeThis study examined the influence of university corporate social responsibility (University CSR) on university corporate brand legitimacy through the lens of university brand trust.Design/methodology/approachThe study utilized a cross-sectional research design with a quantitative approach to gather data from a sample of 398 university students. The collected data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.FindingsThe findings of the study suggest that University CSR has a significant influence on the legitimacy of a university's corporate brand. Moreover, the study identified the mediating role of university brand trust in the proposed relationship.Research limitations/implicationsThe study was conducted in the context of higher education in Tanzania. As a result, the generalizability of the findings to other contexts that significantly differ from Tanzania, a developing country, may be limited.Practical implicationsThe study recommends that the management of higher education institutions in developing countries should include CSR practices in the strategic plans of universities. Additionally, faculty members should be empowered to play a significant role as initiators and implementers of CSR programs.Originality/valueThis study is one of the few attempts to examine the interplay between university CSR, corporate brand trust and university corporate brand legitimacy. The study contributes to the state of knowledge in the education sector by highlighting the role of university CSR in building social acceptance, which is a crucial pillar in empowering universities to play a role in social and economic development.

An Evaluation of the Innovative Funding Models on Effective Administration of Secondary Schools in Imo State, Nigeria

There is room for innovations at every given point in time including in the financial management of educational institutions. Innovative funding models are contemporary funding models explored and used in effective and efficient financial maintenance of an institution. This institution can be educational, financial, religious, business, and so on. This study examined the influence of innovative funding models on administration of secondary schools in Imo State. Two research questions guided the study while two hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population for the study was 297 principals which comprised 83 males and 214 females. There was no sampling procedure because the population was manageable. The questionnaire used for data collection was a 15-item structured titled “Innovative Funding Models on Effective Administration of Secondary Schools Questionnaire (IFMEASSQ)”. The questionnaire was validated by three research experts, two experts in Educational Management from the Department of Social Science Education and one expert in Measurement and Evaluation unit of Department of Educational Foundations, all from Faculty of Education, Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri. Cronbach Alpha statistic was used to compute the internal consistency of the instrument which yielded .83 and .81 for clusters 1 and 2 with an overall reliability index of .82 which indicates that the instrument was reliable. The research questions were answered using mean and standard deviation while the hypotheses were tested with t-test statistic. The findings of the study showed that community involvement and corporate sponsorships influence the administration of secondary education in Imo State to a great extent. Based on the findings, the study recommended that Imo State government should create attractive policies that would enhance massive participations of individuals and corporate bodies in the funding administration of secondary schools.

Management of educators and education personnel is a key aspect of personnel management in educational institutions, with strategies for managing teacher and educator staff being the main focus for achieving quality learning. Professional development is also crucial in improving the competence and quality of trainers, while evaluation of their activities is necessary to monitor and improve performance. This study uses the literature method, with data collected through library data, reading, and managing research materials. The findings of this study show that effective human resource management strategies involve careful planning, thorough training and development, and regular performance evaluation. The implementation of education policies that focus on quality learning requires cross-departmental cooperation and active participation from various stakeholders. Environmental and organizational factors, including management, regulation, human resources, infrastructure, relationships, collaboration and changes in the external environment, also influence the effectiveness of HRM in educational institutions. By understanding the importance of educator and education personnel management and implementing effective HRM strategies, educational institutions can create a quality and competitive learning environment. This will positively impact the quality of education provided to students and help achieve broader educational goals.

This research aims to analyze and evaluate the financial strategies implemented in improving the quality of financial management at SMPN 3 Cilegon. Good quality financial management in schools is a crucial factor in supporting the achievement of educational goals and human resource development. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and analysis of documents related to school finances. This research will focus on identifying financial strategies that have been implemented, such as budget allocation, financial resource management, and financial performance evaluation. SWOT analysis will be used to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in implementing financial strategies at SMPN 3 Cilegon. It is hoped that the research results will provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of the financial strategies that have been implemented, as well as provide recommendations for improvements to improve financial management at SMPN 3 Cilegon. The implications of this research can be a basis for policy makers, school principals and related parties in designing strategic policies that are more effective in improving the quality of financial management in secondary level educational institutions

This article presents an analysis of the relationship between service management in the context of Islamic education with principles taken from verses of the Qur'an and hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Service management is seen as a key element in the management of Islamic educational institutions to provide the best experience to learners, educators, and other related parties. The type of research used is a literature study. The source of research data comes from various relevant literature including the Quran and hadith, books, and scientific articles. Data analysis techniques are carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis show that service management in the context of Islamic education management is an approach used to manage services or facilities related to the implementation of Islamic education. Key principles such as honesty, fairness, responsibility, and empathy, found in Islamic sources, are analyzed in the context of their application in educational management. In addition, the importance of communication skills, leadership, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that are in line with Islamic teachings are also clarified. Taking these principles into account, managers of educational institutions can ensure the overall and sustainable achievement of Islamic educational goals, as well as make a meaningful contribution in the formation of character and morality of learners in accordance with Islamic values

The study aimed to reveal the requirements for applying knowledge management to improve electronic management in educational institutions in light of digital transformation. The study followed the deductive approach and the descriptive analytical approach by referring to previous studies and deriving concepts related to knowledge management applications in the context of educational institutions, and analyzing statistical reports for the Information Technology Department at the Ministry of Education. The study concluded that to apply knowledge management (discovery, generation, sharing, implementation and sustainability) to improve electronic management in educational institutions: Organizational requirements: include strategic planning for the transformation process towards the digital world, leadership and administrative support, and the commitment of senior management to support... The electronic administration project and the flexible organizational structure were adopted, and legislative frameworks were established and updated in accordance with developments, and the material and technical requirements: such as infrastructure, the availability of programs and applications, the design of database system software such as “Oracle”, the presence of communication networks, service centers, and the availability of electronic means necessary to benefit from the services provided by the administration. Electronic and human requirements: educating and training employees to develop the skills of applications of knowledge management processes in electronic administration. Attracting the best qualified individuals in the fields of information systems and software, creating effective systems to retain, develop and motivate individuals, and financial requirements: providing financial support and security requirements: represented in information security, ensuring and protecting the database, and providing privacy and confidentiality to protect the information, and recommended the importance of achieving the requirements by relying on practical methods. Which requires the availability of leading expertise and specializations for digital transformation, and the use of knowledge management to manage the use and activation of technologies to provide opportunities for digital transformation.
