Study on the Influence of Multiple Derivation Method of General Term Formula of Series on Students' Logical Ability

This paper discusses the influence of multiple derivation method on students' logical reasoning ability. By comparing traditional derivation method with multivariate derivation method, this paper analyzes how the latter can improve students' flexibility and accuracy in solving problems through various strategies such as graphic method, induction method and recurrence method. The research shows that adopting multiple derivation method can strengthen students' logical reasoning ability, enhance the depth and creativity of students' mathematical thinking, and promote students' multi-angle thinking divergence when solving mathematical problems. This method helps students better understand the knowledge of number series, and exercises their rigorous logical thinking and the ability to solve practical problems. It opens up a new teaching idea and operation direction for mathematics teaching.

Evaluating Large Language Models' Proficiency in Answering Arabic GAT Exam Questions

The Saudi General Aptitude Test (GAT) aims to measure the analytical and inferential learning abilities of high school graduates seeking admission to higher education institutions. Given the need for effective preparation tools, this study investigates the potential of chat generative pre-trained transformers to assist students in preparing for the GAT, especially in Arabic. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness of Large Language Models (LLMs) in answering questions related to mental and logical abilities, specifically in Arabic. The performance of GPT-4, GPT-4o, and Gemini was examined through 21 experiments to determine their accuracy in answering a range of GAT-related questions. The findings indicate that although GPT-4 and GPT-4o outperformed Gemini in providing accurate answers for the GAT, their current accuracy levels still require improvement.

Implementasi Meningkatkan Sumber Daya Manusia Melalui Program Mengembangkan Kecerdasan Logika Metematika Anak Usia Dini Menggunakan Media Kartu Angka

Mathematical logic intelligence is one of the intelligences that every human resource must have which should be prepared from an early age so that children are trained from an early age to be able to think critically using their logic. This research analyzes the mathematical logic abilities of early childhood using a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The methods used in this research are surveys and case studies, as well as questionnaires and observation measuring tools as techniques for collecting data. This research involved 10 children consisting of 5 girls and 5 boys and then a pre-test was carried out using the Gardner H (1993) mathematical logic intelligence instrument without number cards. Next, the 10 children were given game stimulation using number cards for 15 days and a post-test was carried out again. The results of the research showed that the mathematical logic intelligence of the ten children who had been stimulated using number cards increased very well. This can be seen from the ability to count, read numbers and solve problems logically which has a very good increase in score after being stimulated using number cards

Exploring Gene Expression Biclustering with Integrated PSO-SA-Fuzzy Logic Methodology and its Application to Air Pollution Analysis

This study proposes an innovative biclustering method combining particle swarm optimization (PSO), simulated annealing (SA), and fuzzy logic to improve gene expression analysis. By integrating natural language processing (NLP) semantic similarity into the PSO framework, the method enhances the capture of intricate gene interactions. Additionally, environmental factors, particularly air pollution, are incorporated to explore their impact on gene expression patterns. The approach leverages the complementary strengths of PSO's exploration capabilities, SA's exploitation efficiency, and fuzzy logic's ability to handle data ambiguity. Comparative assessments on benchmark datasets reveal that this integrated strategy significantly outperforms individual methods in accuracy and resilience. The results demonstrate the PSO-SA-Fuzzy Logic method's superior capacity to detect nuanced and context-dependent gene expression patterns, offering a robust solution to the limitations of existing biclustering techniques. The method not only improves precision and computational efficiency but also enhances the detection of significant gene expression patterns under varying conditions, including environmental stressors. This advancement represents a notable contribution to computational biology, providing a more effective tool for gene expression data analysis.</span></p>

IMPLEMENTING BLOOM’S TAXONOMY IN THE ENGLISH CURRICULUM UNDER MERDEKA BELAJAR PROGRAM

Education in Indonesia in the 5.0 era utilizes the MBKM English Education Curriculum, which is a modification of the 2013 English Education Curriculum. According to the 2019 PISA survey, Indonesia ranked 74th out of 79, indicating that the cognitive development of Indonesian children remains relatively low. The "Merdeka Belajar" (Independent Learning) strategy is a transformative step in education aimed at producing superior Indonesian human resources who embody the Pancasila student profile. This concept of independent learning emphasizes the cognitive growth of students, requiring them to think critically using their logical abilities. Bloom's Taxonomy can be interpreted as a hierarchical structure that classifies learning capabilities from the lowest to the highest levels. The cognitive, psychomotor, and affective elements are included in Bloom's three categories to categorize human learning activities. Students' intellectual capacities are developed within the cognitive domain, their skills within the psychomotor domain, and their attitudes and behaviors within the emotional domain. The problem formulation that the researcher will examine involves the implementation, factors, and impacts of Bloom's Taxonomy in the application of the MBKM English Education Curriculum in University institutions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, which is divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification.

Logical abilities and creativity in calculations can be applied in economics where people organize and manage a business activity themselves and bear the risks of their business. He is responsible for his business, financial risks, material and human resources in his business. Technical economists usually act as owners or managers and also as operators of their business activities. Calculation in technical economics is a science that contains how to calculate, how to make considerations in solving a problem, including the feasibility of a business with existing alternatives based on economic factors and criteria. By studying this approach, it is hoped that someone can make the best decision from the many available alternatives. From the description of arithmetic it can be seen that calculations in technical economics involve very technical considerations. So technical economics involves technical analysis, with emphasis on economic aspects and has the aim of assisting decision making. Therefore, in making the decision to do so, a technical economist must be able to make the right decision. The right decision is not a decision without consideration. Of course, to make the right decision, basic considerations are needed. These basics are what are called alternatives in making decisions. This process of many alternatives can be tried to simulate through learning arithmetic calculations which can be done in various or many ways using the vertical metris method.

19F NMR Probes: Molecular Logic Material Implications for the Anion Discrimination and Chemodosimetric Approach for Selective Detection of H2O2.

Detection and discrimination of similar solvation energies of bioanalytes are vital in medical and practical applications. Currently, various advanced techniques are equipped to recognize these crucial bioanalytes. Each strategy has its own benefits and limitations. One-dimensional response, lack of discrimination power for anions, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generally limit the utilized fluorescent probe. Therefore, a cutting-edge, refined method is expected to conquer these limitations. The use of 19F NMR spectroscopy for detecting and discriminating essential analytes in practical applications is an emerging technique. As an alternative strategy, we report two fluorinated boronic acid-appended pyridinium salts 5-F-o-BBBpy (1) and 5-CF3-o-BBBpy (2). Probe (1) acts as a chemosensor for identifying and discriminating inorganic anions with similar solvation energies with strong bidirectional 19F shifts in the lower ppm range. Probe (2) turns as a chemo dosimeter for the selective detection and precise quantification of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) among other competing ROS. To demonstrate real-life applicability, we successfully quantified H2O2 via probe (2) in different pharmaceutical, dental, and cosmetic samples. We found that tuning the -F/-CF3 moiety to the arene boronic acid enables the π-conjugation, a crucial prerequisite for the discrimination of anions and H2O2. Characteristic 19F NMR fingerprints in the presence of anions revealed a complementary implication (IMP)/not implication (NIMP) logic function. Finally, the 16 distinct binary Boolean operations on two logic values are defined for "functional completeness" using the special property of the IMP gate. Boolean logic's ability to handle information by utilizing characteristic 19F NMR fingerprints has not been seen previously in a single chemical platform for detecting and differentiating such anions.

Pengaruh Durasi Penggunaan Gadget dan Durasi Belajar Mahasiswa Informatika terhadap Kemampuan Logika dan Hasil Belajar Matematika

This research aims to investigate the effect of the duration of gadget use and the duration of study on logical abilities and its impact on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in the Informatics Engineering Study Program, STMIK Palangkaraya. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, namely, 65 active students who had taken the Calculus 1 course. The data used were gadget usage duration data, study duration data, logical ability test results, and learning outcomes for the Calculus 1 course. Data was collected using observation techniques, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, and then path analysis was carried out to determine the direct and indirect influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables with the help of Python. The results of the study indicate that logical ability has a positive but relatively weak influence on mathematics learning outcomes (path coefficient value: 0.1525), while the length of learning directly has a positive and fairly strong influence (1.1160). Learning results in mathematics and reasoning skills are not impacted by the amount of time spent using a device. The duration of gadget use has no effect on logical abilities or mathematical learning outcomes.

Identifikasi Kemampuan Berpikir Logis Dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 6 Madiun

Mathematics is seen as learning material needed to solve problems in life. Learning mathematics can improve students' ability to think logically. Logical thinking means a child's ability to think rationally, by utilizing logical abilities, so that they can think logically. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research to describe the ability to think logically in solving mathematical problems in high school students. The subjects of this research were three students, namely students with high, medium and low problem solving abilities from class XI-J of SMAN 6 Madiun for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument consists of test questions and interview guidelines. The results of research show that in solving mathematical problems: high ability subjects show the characteristics of logical thinking ability, able to think coherently, can provide arguments in each step of problem solving, able to provide appropriate conclusions; moderately capable subjects show characteristics of logical thinking ability, able to think coherently, able to provide arguments in each step of problem solving, able to provide conclusions but are not precise; Low ability subjects show characteristics of logical thinking ability, able to think coherently, unable to provide arguments in each step of problem solving, unable to provide conclusions.

TEACHING REFORM AND PRACTICEOF SPORTS PHYSIOLOGY COURSEBASED ONOBECONCEPT- TAKING THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION MAJOROFSICHUAN UNIVERSITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES AS AN EXAMPLE

College students majoring in physical education attach great importance to skill learning and underestimate the learning of core professional courses,a vital path restricting their comprehensive professional growth and success. A significant foothold of teaching reform is improving their enthusiasm and learning effectiveness in learning basic professional theories, and achieving their ability to learn and love learning. An 8-weekteaching reformofsportsphysiologybased on the OBEconcept was implementedfor112college students majoring in physical education in 2022. It was found that the intervention significantly improved the ability of college students majoring in physical education to explain knowledge points in a complete, scientific, and targeted manner and significantly improved their written language expression ability and logical ability in organising language. This has significant practical value for becoming a qualified physical education teacher in the future.Future research will conduct multidimensional and comprehensive evaluations of the effectiveness of teaching reforms based on this foundation and trackrelevant information such as student employment.

Digital Literacy for Millennial Families in Educating Children in the Digital Age

The development of technological advancements in the digital age has brought about enormous changes in all aspects of life. In the digital age, educational problems have become very diverse with the increase in family responsibilities. To overcome these developments, the expertise of parents and educators is needed to implement appropriate solutions to all these problems as well as the ability to adapt to changing environments. This research takes an in-depth look at the digital literacy of millennial families in raising children in the digital age. Teachers and parents really need digital literacy skills to educate children so that they can play various roles as educators in the digital age. This research uses library research methods. Data collection in this research was carried out by developing various types of literature in the form of books, journals, e-books and literature relevant to digital literacy issues in millennial families in the digital age. Data analysis techniques use content analysis methods from journals and other materials accessible via the Internet. The results show that in the digital age, the role of parents is really necessary to avoid being left behind. In our time, a new reorientation of learning is necessary because it is seen to affect vision, responsibility, social sensitivity and logical abilities, as well as honesty. All this leads to a reorientation of the new role of parents, namely as agents of change, knowledge updaters and learning consultants who emphasize creativity, initiative, good communication and cooperation between parents, school and community

基于OBE理念的线性代数混合式教学模式研究

线性代数作为高校公共数学的一门基础课程，学好该课程对于提升学生的学习和逻辑能力起着至关重要的作用。本文依据OBE教学理念，融合线上线下混合式教学，从教学目标、教学过程及考核评价等三个方面对线性代数课程教学模式进行介绍，以期实现教学质量提高、学生综合素养提升、毕业生满足社会人才需求等目标。Linear algebra is a basic course of public mathematics in colleges. Learning this course well plays a vital role in improving students’ learning and logical ability. Based on the OBE teaching concept and integrating online and offline blended teaching, this paper introduces the teaching mode of linear algebra course from three aspects of teaching objectives, teaching process and assessment. Through the aforementioned teaching process, we aim to achieve goals such as improving teaching quality, enhancing students’ comprehensive literacy, and ensuring that graduates meet the demands of the society for talents.

Does the Cognitive Reflection Test Work with Chinese College Students? Evidence from a Time-Limited Study.

The cognitive reflection test (CRT) is an experiment task commonly used in Western countries to test intuitive and analytical thinking styles. However, the validity of this task for Chinese participants has not been explored. Therefore, this study recruited Chinese college students to finish CRT tasks with various experimental designs. To gauge the accuracy of the CRT tasks, 438 Chinese college students first completed online questionnaires. Participants were then invited to participate in an offline laboratory with the same experimental settings. Finally, time pressure was used to strictly control intuition and analytical thinking to explore the performance of Chinese college students on CRT tasks. The results show that of the three experiments, Chinese college students had the highest accuracy in the offline test, and the CRT's intuitive conflict problem still applies to Chinese students under the time-limited condition. This study demonstrates the validity of the CRT in China and proves that time pressure is an effective method for identifying individuals with strong logic ability.

Comparing ChatGPT's and surgeon's responses to thyroid-related questions from patients.

For some common thyroid-related conditions with high prevalence and long follow-up times, ChatGPT can be used to respond to common thyroid-related questions. In this cross-sectional study, we assessed the ability of ChatGPT (version GPT-4.0) to provide accurate, comprehensive, compassionate, and satisfactory responses to common thyroid-related questions. First, we obtained 28 thyroid-related questions from the Huayitong app, which together with the two interfering questions eventually formed 30 questions. Then, these questions were responded to by ChatGPT (on July 19, 2023), junior specialist and senior specialist (on July 20, 2023) separately. Finally, 26 patients and 11 thyroid surgeons evaluated those responses on four dimensions: accuracy, comprehensiveness, compassion, and satisfaction. Among the 30 questions and responses, ChatGPT's speed of response was faster than that of the junior specialist (8.69 [7.53-9.48] vs. 4.33 [4.05-4.60], P <.001) and senior specialist (8.69 [7.53-9.48] vs. 4.22 [3.36-4.76], P <.001). The word count of the ChatGPT's responses was greater than that of both junior specialist (341.50 [301.00-384.25] vs. 74.50 [51.75-84.75], P <0.001) and senior specialist (341.50 [301.00-384.25] vs. 104.00 [63.75-177.75], P <0.001). ChatGPT received higher scores than junior specialist and senior specialist in terms of accuracy, comprehensiveness, compassion and satisfaction in responding to common thyroid-related questions. ChatGPT performed better than junior specialist and senior specialist in answering common thyroid-related questions, but further research is needed to validate the logical ability of the ChatGPT for complex thyroid questions.

Computational and Problem-Solving Skills in Mathematics of AIMS Students

Life is an arena of problems. A human child has to meet and solve problems as he grows; problems on his physical surroundings, his intellectual associations, and in his social contacts. These dilemmas grow in number and complexity as we age. His success in life is, in large measure, determined by the capacity and competence to solve them. Mathematics is a subject of problems and studying Mathematics is different from studying other subjects because it is learned by doing and solving boundless problems. For this reason, the efficiency and ability in solving problems are guarantees for success in learning this kind of subject. The researchers, being Mathematics instructors, observed that the students find difficulty in solving Mathematics problems. The researchers generally identified the salient reasons for this kind of conflict namely: poor background in algebra, poor verbal and contextual understanding, and poor logical ability. Conclusively, a direct relationship can be inferred between the problem-solving skills of students and the salient factors affecting the specified ability. From this observation, the researchers want to conduct an immediate action in order to quench this growing phenomenon. Seventy-five (75) or 63.0% of the respondents are graduates of private schools while 44 or 37.0% are graduates of public schools. On computational skills, the respondents can perform the four basic operations in real numbers, apply the properties of equalities of real numbers as well and derive formulas from a given equation. On problem solving skills, the result indicates that respondents are not good in problem solving which involves plane and solid figure. Recommendations were arrived at to enhance the computational and problem-solving skills of the students.

Intelligent Alzheimer's Diseases Gene Association Prediction Model Using Deep Regulatory Genomic Neural Networks.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an illness that affects the nervous system, leading to a loss in cognitive and logical abilities. Gene regulatory expressions, which are the complex language exhibited by DNA, serve several functionalities, including the physical and biological life cycle processes in the human body. The gene expression sequence affects the pathology experienced by an individual, its longevity, and potential for a cure. The transcription factors, from DNA to RNA conversion, and the binding process determine the gene expression, which varies for every human organ and disease. This study proposes Deep convolutional neural network model that reads the gene regulatory expression sequence through various convolutional layers encoded to detect positive spikes in transcription factors. This results in the prediction of disease conversion probability from mild cognitive impairment to AD which is the key-requisite for affected geriatric cohorts.

ABSTRACT Faria’s recent publication aims to show that “if anti-individualism is correct, then the obscurity of validity is more widespread than we need to assume for present purposes.” In rejecting “a variety of exculpating moves, designed to shield the rationality of the possibly unlucky reasoner,” Faria suggests that content externalism can drastically affect our self-understanding as rational beings. I am afraid I have to disagree. Faria overintellectualizes reasoning, always performed from the first-person perspective and is subject to reflexive control by the reasoner. To be sure, content externalism shows that sound reasoning is contingent on the broad environment and therefore does not depend exclusively on the logical abilities of the living being but is a matter of logical luck. Nonetheless, content externalism is no threat to rationality. My diagnosis: By adopting Wittgenstein’s strategy of “bringing words back home,” Faria overlooks the achievements of cognitive science: in its simplest form, “transitive inference,” rationality pervades the animal kingdom.

Da’wah Rhetoric by Ustadz Abdul Somad and Ustadz Adi Hidayat in Conveying Da’wah Messages

The purpose of this research is to look UAS and UAH da’wah rhetoric to conveying da’wah messages in the public through YouTube media. The researchers examines using Aristotle's rhetorical theory. This type of study is digital research method, especially using YouTube as metadata. YouTube is the most successful accessed media. The methodology has two modules, a video discovery and a video meta-data collection.This study found three important findings.First, ethos dimension, UAS and UAH both have equal credibility in terms of their knowledge in the fields of monotheism, fiqh, worship, and morals. The difference lies in the power of expertise they have. UAS has slank vocabulary, experts in making analogies, and proficient in placing spontaneous humor. While UAH can be seen from his mastery of the semantics and thematics of the Qur'an as well as the location and position of the verses of the Qur'an. Second, pathos dimension, UAS and UAH both touch the emotions of the audience and spread love using advice and prayers. Last, logos dimension, UAS and UAH both have historical knowledge, ability to make analogies, create fiction, abstract experiences, and logical abilities.
