Development of mathematical models of thermal processes in linear asynchronous motors

A mathematical model of thermal processes in a linear asynchronous motor based on detailed equivalent circuits is considered. It is described how this model is used to solve a number of real-world problems.

Superhigh-vacuum linear asynchronous motor with rolling rotor and magnetic-flux concentrators

The analytical method permitting to calculate the super-vacuum linear induction motor with rolling rotor and magnetic flux concentrators has been presented. It is based on analogue approximation of orthotropic mediums. The electromagnetic torque is calculated according to differential performances of electromagnetic field obtained by considering the configuration of magnetic flux concentrators.

Novel low-cost and low-speed asynchronous linear motor

For selected low-cost and low-speed applications special linear asynchronous motors are needed. At constant frequency the pole pitch has to be minimized. Instead of punching the lamination a novel approach is suggested. The teeth are formed by some softmagnetic sheets and inserted into slots, which are perpendicular to the statoryoke lamination. Results of the prototype development will be presented.

This work is concerned with the computations of the active forces in a unilateral linear asynchronous motor (LAM) without an inverse magnetic circuit, for both magnetic and unmagnetic moving bodies.
