This paper presents a multi-source collaborative energy extraction circuit (MSC-EC) for vibration, ambient light and thermal energy with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and a single inductor. The MSC-EC can simultaneously extract energy from the piezoelectric transducer (PZT) and Photovoltaic cell (PV) when the peak open-circuit (OC) voltage of the PZT is detected by the peak voltage detector and the voltage of PV is higher than the maximum power point (MPP) voltage of PV (MPP voltage is about 0.7 times the OC voltage of PV), which can also collaboratively extract energy from the thermoelectric generator (TEG) in the extraction of vibration energy or ambient light energy to improve the efficiency of thermal energy extraction. Experimental results indicate that the MPPT efficiency of PV is about 83%, and the maximum energy extraction efficiency of TEG is about 74%. The maximum output power of MSC-EC is 4.2 mW under certain conditions.
