ABSTRACTThis study described and analyzed WeChat services at Chinese provincial public libraries. This study first described WeChat services at provincial public libraries in China; then, WeChat services at these public libraries were analyzed in three parts: menu services, message sending, and real-time references. After this, suggestions were provided for possible improvements. Library services could be better and more conveniently accessed using WeChat. More users should be able to more easily access WeChat services on smartphones. This study can assist librarians interested in using the WeChat library service window and/or service quality assessment.
