Along with technological advances,many social media can be accessed by children until they are old. Especially during the panademic,children studied at home and used accessories in learning to use gadgets, so that here children want to easily access anything via gadgets, one of which is the tiktok application. lately, elementary school-age children have been imitating various content found in the tiktok application. This content creates a problem if the content that is viewed or imitated does not reflect something good, this will here an impact on the child's character. In this research using qualitative methods of problem research. The result of this research is that many children experience changes or declines in moral ethics which are currently more or less influenced by the use of gadgers.the things that influence it are the conten that children see through the tiktok aplication. Not only that, the lack of parental supervision in using gadgets.

Pengaruh Etika Moral dalam Pembentukan Karakter Mahasiswa Prodi Manajemen Informasi Kesehatan STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan

Ethics is a collection of principles, values, or morals that guide a person in behaving. Ethics is also concerned with good and bad things in behavior in which there are moral rights and obligations of a person in social life. Ethics is used to decide what is right in a given situation so as to decide what is consistent with existing value systems in individuals and organizations. In the world of education, it is expected that every student demonstrates all ethical actions so as to provide a good assessment of the people around him. The character and morals of students need to be grown to the maximum, so that students will not only excel in the academic field, but also excel in the non-academic field to support self-identity in the midst of globalization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of moral ethics on the education and character of students in the Health Information Management study program. The population used was all students of MIK Level 2 at Stikes Santa Elisabeth Medan with a sample of 17 people. This type of research is descriptive research. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Descriptive data analysis. The results showed that students of Health Information Management Study Program level 2 with a good level of moral ethics (76.5%), 17.6% enough, and not good (5.9%). Based on gender 41.2% were male and 58.8% were female. After conducting research on Health Information Management students at the STIKes Santa Elisabeth Campus, Medan, it can be concluded that the level of moral ethics of MIK level 2 students is said to be good (76.5%) because they can apply ethical behavior and respect for each other in the campus environment.

Upaya Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa Melalui Program Full Day School di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kota Jombang

The problem that occurs in MI students in Jombang City is the lack of spiritual intelligence of students as evidenced by the decline in children's manners and moral ethics. This is because students see negative videos that are spread on social media. So this study aims to find out how the full day school program implemented by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Jombang City can improve the spiritual intelligence of grade II students. Interviews and documentation are used as data collection methods in qualitative descriptive research methods. 27 students from class II were interested, the chairman, class II teacher, and the students as resource persons. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. 27 students from class II participated, the principal, class II teacher, and students' parents as informants. The results of the study showed that full-day learning was carried out at MI Jombang city from Monday to Friday from 06.55 to 15.40 WIB. There are many efforts to improve students' spiritual intelligence, including teachers delivering subject matter, congregational prayers, dhuha prayers, morning recitation, and the habit of one day one coin. Because through these habits students experience changes in attitudes such as discipline, having empathy for others, and always remembering Allah in their actions. However, these efforts can be further developed through positive activities so that students' spiritual intelligence can develop properly.

Immanuel Kant e l’etica ambientale. Tre proposte per rivisitare (e una per riattualizzare) la morale kantiana

The main aim of this paper is to demonstrate that in order to claim that Kant’s ethics is neither speciesist nor anthropocentric there is no need to reinterpret Kant’s theories pushing them over their anthroposcopism. I start by exploring the most relevant references to non-human animals and nature in Kant’s moral theory. Then I highlight the main reasons behind the critics of speciesism and anthropocentrism often referred to Kant’s philosophy. I show how non-anthropocentric environmental ethics reinterpretations of Kant’s moral theory offered by Christine Korsgaard, Sharon Anderson-Gold e Marc Lucht reply to the critics. In conclusion, I claim that staying with Kant’s anthroposcopism and formal approach to moral ethics could be enough to provide a stronger theoretical framework for an already widespread and widely accepted weak anthropocentric reformist environmental ethics.

Louisiana's "Medically Futile" Unborn Child List: Ethical Lessons at the Post-Dobbs Intersection of Reproductive and Disability Justice.

Ableist attitudes and structures are increasingly recognized across all sectors of health care delivery. After Dobbs, novel questions arose in the United States concerning how to protect reproductive autonomy while avoiding discrimination against and devaluation of disabled persons. In this essay, we examine the Louisiana Department of Health's emergency declaration, "List of Conditions That Shall Deem an Unborn Child 'Medically Futile,'" issued August 1, 2022. We raise a number of medical, ethical, and public health concerns that lead us to argue that the declaration should be rescinded. Analysis of this ethically objectionable declaration provides valuable lessons about how to uphold both reproductive and disability justice in a post-Dobbs landscape.

Reflections on the Present World of Chinese Traditional Culture from the Perspective of Comparison between Chinese and Western Philosophy

Philosophy is an eternal topic of human development, and it is also the basic promoter of the inheritance and development of traditional culture. Since ancient times, there have been many differences in concepts and mechanisms between Chinese and Western philosophies. Moral ethics, natural health preservation, and the golden mean are the main manifestations of Chinese philosophical concepts. This is also the main feature of Chinese traditional culture, which shows strong secularism as a whole. Western philosophy is mainly characterized by the origin of elements, metaphysics, and unity of will and spirit, which also makes most Western cultures surpass the present world. At present, my country is at a critical stage of national rejuvenation. The inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture have become the only task for national rejuvenation, and it is also the main means for Chinese excellent traditional culture to go abroad and enhance China’s soft power. In this regard, to promote the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture, based on the comparative perspective of Chinese and foreign philosophy, this paper analyzes the secularism of Chinese traditional culture and proposes the secular development and future succession of Chinese traditional culture.

Self-concept among Indonesian adolescents in coastal areas: A cross-sectional study.

Adolescence is a transitional phase from childhood to adulthood, characterized by various biological, psychological, and social changes. Adolescents living in coastal regions are exposed to social-environmental risk factors that can affect their emotional wellbeing, primarily due to the demanding and unpredictable nature of coastal communities. These challenging and volatile circumstances can have a negative impact on adolescents' emotions, making them more vulnerable to mental and emotional disorders. This study aimed to examine the self-concept and its differences according to sociodemographic factors among adolescents residing in coastal areas of Indonesia. A cross-sectional design was employed for this study, which involved 644 adolescents living in coastal regions of Indonesia, specifically in the West Sumatra and Bali provinces. The Tennessee Self Concept Scale (TSCS) 2nd Edition Short Form was used to assess self-concept from August to September 2022. Descriptive statistics, Independent-t-test, and One-way ANOVA were utilized for data analysis. The findings revealed that adolescents in coastal areas had a high level of self-concept. A statistically significant difference was discovered in the overall self-concept according to gender (p = 0.002). Similarly, a significant difference was observed in the physical domain based on class level (p = 0.019). Regarding the personal domain, significant differences were identified according to age (p = 0.030), class level (p = 0.030), parent's marital status (p = 0.030), father's education (p = 0.05), and family income (p = 0.01). Furthermore, in the family domain, significant differences were found based on parents' marital status (p <0.001) and adolescents' residence status (p = 0.002). Additionally, a significant difference in the academic domain was observed with respect to gender (p = 0.001). However, no significant differences were noted in the moral ethics and social domains across all sociodemographic variables (p >0.05). This study emphasizes the need for attention from various stakeholders, including mental health nurses, to prioritize interventions to promote positive self-concept among adolescents, consider sociodemographic factors that influence self-concept, and address areas of dissatisfaction such as moral behavior and academic/work efficiency. Incorporating family support and nurturing positive parent-child relationships are also important for fostering a healthy self-concept in adolescents.

Sociálna činnosť ukrajinskej gréckokatolíckej cirkvi v ukrajinskej spoločnosti: trendy a vyhliadky

The main directions of social activity of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church are revealed in modern Ukrainian society. The influence of the Church on the formation of the system of moral and ethical values of the society and its role in overcoming the spiritual crisis in the conditions of globalization processes of the postmodern society. It is proved that the decisive role in the search for answers to the civilizational challenges facing Ukraine and its culture undoubtedly belongs to the Church, education and science as the universe that connects all spheres of human being. The social activity of the Church indeed directs life processes, ensures the formation of the young generation of Ukrainians with harmoniously developed intellect, inherited experience, moral principles and values. The author of this article highlighted that the war in eastern Ukraine, the economic crisis, pervasive corruption, failed social reforms, poverty, and the endless transformation of Ukrainian society have led to many social problems and daunting challenges for the Christian churches in Ukraine. The development of social thinking of religious organizations, the search for the spiritual meaning of the development of society, effective social work, and the spiritual and moral health of society are the most important, key areas of Ukrainian society in the conditions and context of globalization.

Individual and Social Dimensions of Moral Stress

The article is devoted to moral stress, which is understood as a combination of emotional reactions challenging the integrity of a system of moral norms and values, as well as a result of such an impact. Individual dimensions of moral stress are shown on the example of the analysis of the concepts of moral distress and moral injury. Using the concept of &amp;quot;moral resilience&amp;quot; as an example, approaches to overcoming moral stress are analyzed, which involve rationalizing the causes and consequences of traumatic events and changing the subject&amp;apos;s attitude to stress factors. It is shown that these approaches manifest the therapeutic turn in culture. There is an increase in the influence of stress factors on modern life. If in the past the manifestations of moral stress were personalized and extreme, in modern times they acquire a habitual character and a collective dimension. The reason for this is the growing gap between the value system, which advocates individual well-being, and the system, aimed at the effective regulation of the social whole. The widening of this gap is associated, on the one hand, with the expansion of the space of individual freedom, on the other hand, with the extraordinary conditions of the fight against terrorism, the pandemic, etc., regulating of which requires the restriction of personal rights. The author proposes several strategies of overcoming moral stress. Defense strategies are labeled as moralization and intellectualization. The third strategy, which involves the support of individual well-being, is realized in the form of the so called &amp;quot;new ethics&amp;quot;. It is concluded that to overcome moral stress, it is necessary to initiate not only internal, but also structural changes. To do this, it is necessary to go beyond the psychological interpretation of individual moral stress to broad interdisciplinary generalizations on its social causes and collective manifestations.

UNIVERSITY PROJECT IN THE ANCIENT CITY: THE HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURE, EDUCATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT IN VELIKY NOVGOROD

The article describes the experience of creating Novgorod State University within the framework of the integration concept as an innovative project. The historical and cultural context of the development of the ancient Novgorod region is presented, which gives grounds to believe that the formation of the Novgorod University of the classical type is a historically predetermined and natural phenomenon. At the same time, it is shown that the implementation of such university project requires special conditions, prerequisites and huge efforts from university teams, understanding the need for change, support for power structures and the formation of a powerful leadership team – a team of like-minded people. It is also important that in the system of spiritual and moral values of Veliky Novgorod, bookishness and enlightenment have always occupied one of the leading places. From here new trends of worldview, science and culture spread in Russia. Currently, the university with full responsibility implements its mission of the federal-regional center for science, culture, education, is the main methodological and scientific-methodical regional center for continuing pedagogical education and educational, scientific and innovative complex with a developed infrastructure.

Običajno i pozitivno pravo u Srbiji

In order to fully and properly understand the essence of customary law, a joint explanatory endeavor of legal, ethnological, and sociological science is needed. During the last two centuries, the relationship between customary and positive law passed through two phases. The first phase was marked by the incredible strength and resistance of the customary law, which was deeply rooted in the patriarchal Serbian society. Its strength was such, that it managed to overpower the modern Austrian law during the creation of the Serbian Civil law code, despite the efforts and desires of the law code creator, Jovan Hadžić, to suppress it. Customary law became the sole regulator of marriage, family, and inheritance law, thus becoming a part of the positive law. The second phase took place after the Second World War. By promoting a new system of acceptable social and moral values, the new, revolutionary, socialistic law fiercely fought the customary law and rural traditions, labeling them as obsolete relicts of a class-divided society. However, customs showed their remarkable resilience, and found a way to survive this strife - quite ironically - by using the existing laws and legal loopholes, masking themselves sometimes like a chameleon. Maybe the best illustration of this conflict between positive and customary law can be found in the inheritance law, as it is a complex branch of law, which was shaped not only by laws, but also by the centuries-old traditions of our people. To be able to fully understand the customary inheritance law, one must first analyse the institutes of family, marriage, and kinship. Although many customs have already disappeared in the XXI century by overcoming the patriarchal notions in the modern society, some customs remained, but also some new have, due to various reasons, managed to emerge, making the topic of this paper quite contemporary

Semantics of the Concept "Yard" in the Work of A.I. Solzhenitsyn "Matrenin Yard"

The article presents an analysis of the concept of "yard" based on the material of A.I. Solzhenitsyn's story "Matrenin Yard". The problem of studying the logical and semantic content of the studied language unit is complicated by its multicomponent content, through which the author of the work forms the depth of the storyline. The concept "yard" functions mainly as a space reflecting the system of spiritual and moral values of Matryona Vasilyevna, her life priorities and principles: charity, mutual assistance, humility and modesty. In the work, the semantics of the concept "yard" is represented by two components – material and spiritual; as a semantic unity, the lexeme yard states the importance of concentrating spiritual life, the ability not to respond with rudeness to rudeness, to find strength to overcome difficulties. Matryona's yard is a reflection of the spiritual disposition of its mistress: it has lost its external splendor, has aged, faded and rotted in places, but is filled with an atmosphere of peace and silence. The main character of the story embodies the best features of patriarchal Russia, such important moral qualities as kindness, humanity, non-possessiveness. The master brings to the thoughtful reader the idea that Matryona, who gives herself to others without a trace, and "... is ... the very righteous man, without whom ... the village is not worth it. No city. Not the whole earth is ours."

Специфика современных протестных движений: от социально-культурной деструкции до девальвации морали (на примере протестов организации BLM)

The article is devoted to the analysis of the internal content of the rhetoric and the main features of the construction of protest movements. For this study, the «Black Lives Matter» movement was used as a subject, as a phenomenon in which the desired components are most clearly traced. Due to the correlation of the spontaneous and irrational aspects and the speculative-radical, pragmatic component, the studied specifics and content are successfully identified. This study uses a combination of methods (dialectical, analytical, content analysis, etc.), as well as approaches (ethical, social, political, etc.). As a result, the author comes to the following conclusions and results: 1. Protests of this kind are characterized by targeted damage to cultural and historical heritage in order to initiate its devaluation. 2. One of the characteristics is «reverse racism», which is directed not only against a certain category of people, but mostly by teleological primacy has the acquisition of special advantages and quotas. 3. In the rhetoric of such organizations, there is an immanent speculative tendency to deny the rights of the individual, to «average» the individual before being elevated to the masses, as well as the formation of a new stereotyping. 4. The repressive cult of violence and cruelty is draped with the ideas of «noble struggle». 5. Special conscious radicalism (both ideological and expressed in specific intentional acts), which excludes the possibility of dialogue. 6. The eradication of history and tradition presupposes the formation of a new socio-political system, and morality and religion are tools for achieving such goals. 7. Escalation within the framework of moral consciousness, attitudes, behavior and value system of the «tolerance» fetish, which becomes a total system for controlling / suppressing freedom (opinions, attitudes, etc.), creating an alibi of responsibility and conditions for the degeneration of individuality.

Пути совершенствования антикоррупционной деятельности

The content of the tasks of the National Anti-Corruption Plan for 2021-2024 testifies to the dissatisfaction of the federal government with the results of the measures taken to minimize corruption phenomena in the spheres of state and municipal service. The subject of the study of the article is the suppression of abuse of official position by persons with authority and rights entrusted to them for personal gain. The purpose of the work is to develop organizational and legal measures to improve the management of the public civil service system and personnel in general and anti-corruption activities in particular. The dynamics of corruption crimes over the past few years is given, indicating a significant scale of corruption in government and other structures. Attention is drawn to the shortcomings of the Russian model of public civil service and personnel management. The expediency of including the norms of ethical behavior in the activities of state (municipal) employees in the legal framework and preventing the occupation of public positions by persons with pronounced egocentric character traits and a deformed system of moral values is substantiated. The reasons for the need to change the model of declaring information about property and transactions with it are given. It is proposed to improve, by modifying the BC Certificate, the procedure for declaring information about property by applicants for public positions and civil servants. Based on the analysis of the tasks of the National Anti-Corruption Plan for 2021-2024, conclusions are drawn that they are closely interrelated and justified through the analysis of legal systems and practices of foreign countries, as well as recommendations of key international organizations.

Introducing Character Education: A Proposed Strategy for Developing Anti-Corruption Culture in Liberia

Corruption continues to be one of the key challenges to the governance and development of many African countries. In Liberia, despite the existence of innumerable anti-corruption strategies, the menace of corruption remains ubiquitous or prevalent. This clearly suggests that the strategies introduced do not explain the fundamental cause(s) of corruption but are rather secondary explanations. Using the qualitative descriptive method with a main emphasis on conceptual normative approach, this paper grounded on a virtue ethics theoretical stance seeks to address the problem of widespread corruption in Liberia. Guided by Tabula rasa and the theory of change as the theoretical framework, the paper conceptually proposed the introduction of character education as the essential strategy for developing an anti-corruption culture. The finding reveals that the main reason for the persistence of corruption in Liberia is a lack of a comprehensive moral value system that can sustainably socialize the rising generation into integrity through character education. The paper concludes that though character education is a long-term solution to the fight against corruption. However, facts have proven its efficacy in other societies as mentioned in this paper. So, if introduce and practice in Liberia accordingly, it is likely to produce similar effects.

The Best Strategy for Student’s Islamic Character Development Program in Public University

The good character of public university students contributes to anticipating the potential for nation’s moral degradation. Islamic character education, which is believed to be closely related to controlling daily moral ethics, is taught through Islamic religious as well as personality development lectures. This study aims to analyze the educational model of forming Islamic character for students in search for the best strategy to build the students’ piety in expressing Islamic character. A total of 529 undergraduate students in the second semester of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Brawijaya University of Malang, Indonesia became the respondents of the study. They have had the experience in attending Islamic religious lectures and involved in religious activities. WarpPLS software is used to analyze the structural model of students’ Islamic character development (IC) which involves the roles of religious lectures (RL), non-religious lectures (NRL), and mentoring programs (MP). The results showed that the highest direct correlation path coefficient was found in MP to IC (0.413; P&lt;0.001) compared to the others: RL to IC mediated by MP (0.347; P&lt;0.001) and NRL to IC mediated by RL and followed by MP mediation (0.254; P&lt;0.001). The results of the study concluded that the mentoring programs (MP) had the most influence in building the students’ Islamic character (IC).

Koncepcje nowoczesnego wychowania społeczno-moralnego w Królestwie Polskim na przełomie XIX i XX w.

Introduction : Modernisation transformations within the Polish lands at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century were linked to the development and popularisation of scientific pedagogy and the growing importance of children and youth in social life. The postulates of universal education were connected with the need to develop concepts of upbringing, corresponding to the requirements of modern reality, in Polish realities, which was also a period of irredentist aspirations. Research Aim : The aim of the article is to discuss the concept of socio-moral upbringing in the Kingdom of Poland during a period particularly important for the formation of Polish modernity and independence. The subject of analysis will be the propagated norms of upbringing of the young generation, concerning ethical and civic attitudes. The research will make it possible to determine the continuation of the traditional reflection on socio-moral upbringing and to indicate the essence and conditions of the new concepts. Evidence-based Facts : In the studies on the history of the concepts of social and moral upbringing conducted until now, there is a lack of analysis of these issues from the perspective of social and cultural transformations resulting from modernisation processes in the modern era. Previous studies have referred to some of the concepts of social and moral upbringing of Polish pedagogues of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, without, however, considering the context of the era to a greater extent. The preserved sources allow an in-depth historical-pedagogical analysis. The texts under research spoke about the character education, self-education, the development of social and civic attitudes, the importance of ethics lessons. Summary : Socio-moral education was given an autotelic value, but also a unifying value, serving egalitarian social relations. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was often combined with citizenship. Viewed in this way, education was considered particularly important for the processes of modernisation and democratisation of society.

Future Leaders' Ethical Behavior Development Using Boricua College's Affective Development Model

Business students have witnessed a decline in moral and ethical leadership in organizations, as reported by the media. Even though there has been increased awareness, unethical leadership continues to rise, requiring the need to slow the progression of future business leaders' tendency to be unethical by training them to develop ethical value systems as undergraduates. Although there is much debate about whether business students should receive ethical training, the main issue is its teaching. The researcher in this study explores developing students' affective domain using the Boricua Colleges' Business Administration Differentiation of Personal and Professional Values course. The course focuses on students developing their mental and emotional states by deconstructing the constructs of ethics to develop ethical value systems. The researcher explored this course as a possible link to address what is missing from the Business Administration curriculum to support developing ethical business students in their behaviors and decision-making.

Societal Afflictions and Economic Inequity: A Marxist Study of Fountain’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk

The world is full of people who are thirsty for others’ blood. They lack soft corners and ethical morals. Under such circumstances, conflict erupts the societies that cause destruction and wreckage. Conflict resolution and the creation of global harmony is the basic need to resolve the issues. Additionally, freedom is the most precious gift given to people. However, some people do not realize this, they remain suffering from various hardships and spend their lives as slaves. This is the era of development and progress; we can see the escalated building and pillars of knowledge all around the world. However, some people are facing cruelties and life-threatening situations. Contrary to this, some people enslaved by force are bestowed with the courage and determination to be free. They sacrifice their most valuable belongings such as children for freedom. This study is the proximal approach explaining such types of devastations in the spotlight of the novel Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. Keeping in view the Marxist theory, societal afflictions and economic inequity are analyzed and the results depict that being a soldier in an American force is the most damaging phenomenon. The soldiers are betrayed by being given special privileges, however, in return, they have to give up on their own freedom, and they are forced to shed the blood of others.

An Analysis of Factors Affecting the Professionalism of Public Accountants: Perceptions of Accounting Students (Survey of Accounting Study Program Students)

The profession should pay more attention to the professional ethics and morals that form the basis of how they do their work. The accountant must fully adhere to a set of moral and ethical standards because they are crucial for the execution of their task. This study attempts to ascertain accounting students’ perceptions of how they comprehend the Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and Moral Ethics of Professional Public Accountants (SPAP) on the Professionalism of Public Accountants. In order for all members of the profession to carry out their duties to the best standards possible, it is intended that the results of this study would reveal the respondents’ level of moral ethics comprehension. The population in this study consisted of 98 accounting students who had undergone auditing/auditing accounting courses, 50 from the economics faculty of the Unisri Accounting study program and 48 from the economics faculty of the accounting study program at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. While the sampling approach utilized is judgment sampling or taking research samples based on considerations, such as students who have attended auditing courses. According to the panel’s findings, students from the economics department specializing in accounting believe that moral and ethical forces influence the professionalism of public accountants in carrying out their profession. However, ethics and morality are not sufficient in and of itself; they must be combined with good comprehension, competence, and accountability in understanding public accounting professional standards (SPAP) and financial accounting standards (SAK). It is proved that ethics and morals affect the professionalism of public accountants with a significance value of 0.41, while the understanding of public accounting professional standards has effect on the variable of public accounting professionalism with a significance value of 0.36 and the variable of understanding of financial accounting standards on the professionalism of public accountants with a significance value of 0.14. Thus, simultaneously, it shows that these three variables have an effect on the professionalism of public accountants.
